I like HP. What's up with Harry & WDW?

Oh I like HP too, but the crowds it will attract at US in the first couple of years makes me nervous.

I think it is due to open fall of this year. I like US for a day or two every couple of years. Last trip to US was a one night stay at Portofino. I plan on a day trip midweek next month, so I should be able to hit my favs. Next time I go in a couple of years will take a room for one night and take 2 days and check out the HP land with Front of the line passes they offer to on site guests.

Growing up in England New Year was not a Holiday 1 Jo has that changed ??So I have no growing up Traditions !! Today I am making LaSagna, salad and French bread !!It could become a Tradition as we are leaning away fromthe Big Holiday Meals in order that we csn enjoy the Holiday and not be stuck in the Kitchen!!

T-I saw last night that Waldo went to the ER and glad he is ok.

V-Good luck in finding a Wii. I have yet to buy one for my kiddos (or any gaming system) but they aren't that into video games just yet. Of course this can all change since they just spent a week with their 9 year old cousin who is into gaming. I second Janet on finding one on E-bay. A friend of mine did that last year for her boys for Christmas and got a steal on it!

LL-Good luck with the job decisions. I love the DC/Baltimore area so I would move to Maryland in a heartbeat.

Jodi-Let us know how things go with your MIL.

TE-We are having our traditional New Year's meal...pork, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. It's in the oven right now and smells sooooooooo good! My grandma says the sauerkraut will bring us luck but I think that was her way of us getting to eat it when we were little.

Not much planned for me today. The kids get back tomorrow so I want to get their toy room set up and some of their new toys put together. DR got a toolbench for Christmas and Linds got some kind of Hannah Montana thing that needs to be built.

I do have some laundry to get caught up on but got most of it done yesterday and the kids spring/summer clothes organized for E-bay. I'm pretty happy with that one. Now the biggest task is downloading, editing and writing the listings up.

Well, the official word on Waldo is ..... GALLSTONES! Yup, gallstones. He'll have to have surgery on an outpatient level. I'm just glad it wasn't his heart.

He's home, feeling better with a nice fat Vicodin script!

Do you think it is wise to be on the Fit hop off to eat breakfast, then get back on?

Now I have to ask, what the heck kind of exercise is sitting on your hind end on the Wii Fit board? You'd think with all my hours of DISing that I would be an expert sitter. But I could only manage 87 secs.

And that advanced step thing....yes, be sure to clear the area of all toys, crocs, laptops, dogs, and small children. The purple confused me, I lost my balance, stepped on a light saber, kicked the laptop, threw the light saber at owner and almost landed on the dog. All that to unlock the sitting exercise.

Any Fockers try the Adara style croc? I'm in the corc site and am so tempted to buy some new ones for my upcoming trip.

I need to go back to work before I end up in the poor house, I console myself by telling myslef that I am being patriotic and helping the economy

I love my Adaras! I bought them when I had a footwear malfunction on the Vineyard, they're comfortable (though I usually body glide up my feet before a themepark trip) and not terribly croc-y looking.

So... the Wii Fit. I am sore from so much playing. My favs are the hula hooping (I got over 300 and unlocked the Super Hula Hoop this am), and the table tilt. I'm good at it! I really love that it doesn't feel like I'm working out.

We are going to eat lunch, then start painting. Can you said RED?!

So, are they going to take out his gall bladder? DH and MIL both had that done and it was pretty easy. They did it laproscopically and recovery was a few days. Not too bad at all.

I wish. I've got all my ornaments off the tree, but I need DH to help me dismantle the tree and get it to the basement. So, my living room is still a mess.

So, DH has texted me a few times. MIL is now on some good drugs for pain and they've done a few more CT scans. No word yet on the results though. We'll have to wait and see what they say. Hopefully she won't be admitted again!

I'm headed upstairs to watch the hockey game and start organizing my scrapbooking stuff.

Which reminds me, MIL called this morning and woke up with a horrible pain in her neck this morning. She finally got in contact with her neurosurgeon, who happens to be at the hospital today, so guess who's going back to the ER? And my FIL isn't feeling well and had taken his pain meds (narcotics) so he can't drive her there. So, DH is off to pick up his mom and take her to the hospital. I sure hope it's just a muscular thing....

Oh no hope she's OK!

Well our dinner last night was very disappointing. The food was wonderful as usual, but the service was terrible. I know they are busy on NYE, but when they set the service standard so high, and don't deliver, it makes me even more annoyed.

DS just woke up! He has a temp of 102.2 and my congestion. I thought he was getting better, guess not. We are nebbing him and started ibuprofen ... again. Poor thing.

Jo it really makes sense to have it as a Holiday! It was always such a Bummer having to come into work after celebrating New Years Eve! The Scottish always celebrated it !! Do they still eat Haggus !!!???

Yep they do, we went to a Burns night celebration last year and they served Haggis

So I'm all willy nilly about to jump on the phone and make THAT call. And guess what I hear on the other end of the phone?

"Thank you for calling Disney's Vacation Club! In observance of the holiday, we are closed and will open tomorrow at 9 am."

"T" IF he has another attack... A VERY HOT Hot water bottle, Or micro waveable heat pad will ease the pain so he can sleep. If he does not want to use the Vicodin... I think the heat works faster... like within a couple of minutes.

Place it on his right side( location of one said Gall bladder) around the line where the ribcage starts/ends . I would normally say Lift up B O O B and place Heat there I do not think Waldo has that uh issue

I do no know what is wrong with me today. I am so tired and lethargic... it's like being Preggers... I HAD BETTER NOT BE.. That is all I am saying about that or I will "Cuttin' Calves" real soon around here.
(Only a farmer will get that one But I know you'll figure it out )
