I nearly made Tony spit coffee earlier...I came down the stairs in a red (jingle bell red according to Michael) sweatsuit and my mom said "Oh you look cute"...naturally, feeling like a sausage stuffed in a hot dog casing, I asked her...

"It doesn't scream Hey Kool-Aid, does it?":confused3

kool-aid.jpg

:rotfl2: At least if you're not working, we'll get more of these!

Cheers, Poppy.

Watch it lady. I'm scrappy.

I'm aware... ;)

Read Kim Harrison- her books are addicting!

I haven't read the last one, but yup!

I'm not starting until next Monday, when the girls go back to school and things settle down. We're slated to go out for our anniversary dinner on the 1st and I'm going to go out with a bang!

That would be better for me, too - with the company, I can't eat "normally"... I like the 5th...

Thank you. I really do love you.

I just had a PM from a DISer I don't know who said she can't see the photos on my TR and could I tell her where else she could see them  You can all see them, right???

I can see them. It's a real live axe murderer!!!! :rotfl:

Does anyone else's Wii Fit say "ow" when you step on?

Yes. :headache: :rotfl:

Dude, I think you're talled than 5'10", either that or I'm more like 5'8" than 5'9".

Heck, I don't know. :lmao:

The thing is you're tall and thin, so you look much taller than I do. Gain some weight and then we'll talk.

Oh, I promise. I weigh a lot. I do have the big bone structure where you might not guess what I actually weigh, but it's not good. And you are gorgeous, so shut up.

and we prefer terms other than midget:
short and sweet
cute, smart, witty, little person
altitudally inferior

:rotfl:

I wouldn't know a thing about that!

Are you ducking in our picture? ;)

We're home. What a long friggin' appointment! I sent out invites to the people who PM'd me and the people who said to count them in. If I missed anyone, let me know.

Me, me!!! Do you have my email? I did the last questionnaire one... If not, let me know.

I don't think I ever told you about a really cool part of my trip did I? We were given a super duper fast pass, literally we could go up to any FP machine and as long as it had FP's left in it our card would give us a FP to use straight away, so no wait It was fantastic and I so wish we could always have one Unfortunately it ran out when we left :sad2: There was one time we were at DHS and all the FP's had gone but we managed to sweet talk the CM at ToT

Yeah, yeah. The whole trip was one frickin big dream. We get it. :rotfl:

Seriously, that's fantastic! :goodvibes

Hi everyone
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to you all.
I am still digging out of all the carp we got here.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi, Theresa! Missed you! How are the boys?

Mrs. the King posted that her Poppy died today. She wants everyone to raise a glass for him.
Let's send her hugs, shall we?

 for Deb. I'm having wine, and I'll lift my glass for Poppy. I know it's hard, even if you expect it and they had a long, full life.

"It doesn't scream Hey Kool-Aid, does it?"

kool-aid.jpg

Oh, LL... :rotfl:

*******************************************************
Well, we went out and got my dad's present, whilst D & Woody skied and Dad watched. :thumbsup2

We tried a new grocery store that just opened, and it was eh. :rotfl: Isn't it funny how we get to like one and won't go anywhere else?

So I think D & Buzz will ski tomorrow. I have to go to Target for a prescription, and that will be our outing. Woohoo! :rotfl:

I think we might watch a movie, so I'll probably catch you later! :grouphug:

I was witness to the most beautiful funeral that I ever will witness. The Basilica beautifully decorated for Advent and the Bishops and Priests were in multiple, the choir dressed in the purest white gowns... so beautifully lined the aisle, with voices soft as angels welcomed Emilie's family. I will forever remember her husband, Steve holding dear little Daniel as they ushered out her casket. Daniel, just 2 not really knowing that his mommy was in that box draped with a beautiful cloth, not understanding that he will never see her again on earth.

My heart broke a million times over for the loss of such a young, bright spirit. My heart broke at the thought that that could have been my husband walking behind, with my children. Life is simply not fair.

Now I am home in bed again. The fever literally left my body long enough from this morning until I returned home at 4. Someone was looking out for me, to ensure that I could pay my respect to Steve and his little boys.

I can't speak, my voice is completely gone. People came up to me to greet me and I had to not touch them and whisper. We sat with a large group of my DH's Fraternity brothers. It still amazes me what a great group of men they are. I met a woman, who's name escapes me, who I literally could not stop staring at, for I thought she was related to Angela. I never did ask her, but the resemblance was amazing.

A few minutes ago my fever was close to 102, suddenly I started to get really hot... I just took my temp again and it is closer to 101 now. Lets hope this terrible sickness moves on.

It sounds absolutely beautiful, Jen. A beautiful service, fit for a beautiful woman and her family and loved ones.

Now, please darlin', get off this here internet and go to bed.

Love ya' girlie.

I'm so glad you were able to be there today, Jen.   And I know who was looking out for you, honey. And He will look out for those boys too!

Awww. Thanks so much. He was a great guy and a WWII vet. His brother died in the last days of WWII, so I know they are rejoicing in heaven.
I'm sorry for your loss, Deb. Salude Poppy! :drinking:
T, I hope the kids made out okay at the doctor...antibiotic all around?
Yup, antibiotic and some nasty yellow syrup. They've both got sinusitis. And Maddie decided to prove it and spike a fever too, now. :headache:

But the best part is CVS pharmacy and their lack of being able to fill my prescription. Then they asked me if I did actually drop it off, or did I think I did (WTH?)and then to top it off, they asked Andy if his kids had the same name, not that made any sense to us at all. :confused3 OMG, he almost hopped over the counter and choked the poor woman. :lmao: They finally found them, under the counter - but I snatched from her hand and drove across the street to Walgreens. :sad2:

****************************************
So, over the last two nights, we showed my parents "Dodgeball" and "Anchorman." I do get my "stupid movie loving gene" from my dad, so he's been fairly happy, but I think my mom's in shock. :rotfl:

Anyway, I need to go to bed. It's after midnight, and I have had more than my share of wine. Goodnight to all, and sleep well! :grouphug:

I can be in Greenville in about 2 hours!!

I waited for ya...

Now thanks to you I have a terrible headache this morning:headache:
