Team Focker Watch - Version 8: When V's Away.. The "Katt" will Play

Well, after much thinking and worrying, Woody decided he did want to go skiing, so he and D were heading off for a half-day pass. We decided to send my dad to go watch, as it was better than sitting here at home. Then Buzz, who had no interest when we mentioned it earlier, wanted to go skiing - which would have required me to go, because he's not near as good as Woody and D couldn't take them both. We hated to tell Buzz no, but it was going to be awful to try to get all four of us, plus dad and maybe mom, out of the house and then have grandma alone, etc. Sigh.

So, D is going to take JUST Buzz tomorrow afternoon. He seems OK with that.

I need to shop for my dad, but no one here is moving very fast. I have NO ideas for him, and I think we will have to leave grandma here alone. She will likely nap, so that's probably fine.

We also need to go to the grocery.

So...

I love my family, I do, but it's so hard to figure out what 7 people want to do, especially with small kids combined with a fairly immobile grandma... Sigh.

And then my mom came and I just spent 20 minutes trying to get her off my back. I love her, too, but she doesn't need to read this. :rotfl:

hi ce!! that all sounds really complicated!! :hug:

Does this involve spandex, jogging bra's , or any other humiliating clothes:scared: :scared: :scared:

Oh wait where are those majorette photo's

O.K... Mom's Panel Jo... How about you gals HOSTING a Weight loss challenge.. and the winner gets a Free Disney Vacation

hey, i;'d wear humilating clothing for a free trip to disney!!!!:lmao:

hi ce!! that all sounds really complicated!! :hug:

Thanks. I am so glad they came - my parents always do, but we didn't know what to do with grandma - but it's just not easy, as my mom is by herself. Even my dad, whom I adore, is a challenge to "find things" to do. When mom's by herself, we just do our normal stuff and she's happy to tag along. :goodvibes

HEY! :mad: Are you trying to get Jen even more points?

No, sorry. ;)

It's just that I'm 5'10". T & I made sure to stand next to each other at FF. :rotfl:

I know. I'm cracking up looking at the photo in my siggie - I am a head above everyone else, even T - she must have been angling herself to LL.

Tell him it's all for your health; so you'll be around to grow old together. And doesn't he owe you for the croc pot incident?

Somehow I don't think he'd buy that one:sad2:

FWIW, we do the 18 hour drive to IL at least once a year. The boys have been doing it since about 6 months old, so maybe that's part of it, but it's not that bad with a DVD player and Leapsters. Also, if you guys feel comfortable driving at night, that's been a godsend for us. We try to drive a lot overnight, as then the kids are sleeping and NOT complaining in the back, if that makes sense?

We've done the drive before. ACtually until 2 years ago we drove every year. It's just the thought of that long drive is killer now when I know the flight takes only 2 hours, but I am going to bite the bullet for a longer trip:rolleyes1

Heck no! You cover as much as you like.

A nun's outfit it is!:thumbsup2

We only let Jimmy in there once and after reading that it will be the ONLY time he ever goes in there!

Yeah - I was a complete basket case in January when he was in there. It was crazy crowded...way too many shady looking adults and too many places where I couldn't follow him and keep an eye on him. It was SO not worth the aggravation. He asked to go back in it last month and I told him no and that Mommy doesn't think it's very safe. And he was cool with it. Thought he'd throw a huge fit, but he didn't.

Recipie please. Jim loves Banana Foster!

I bought the cook book - I'll bring it in and copy/email it - it was yuuummmmmy!!!

I thought T-Rex was going to be like Rain FOrest at DTD, no ressies :confused3

I was able to make ressies thru WDW dining for RFC, but they just give you the whole "does not accept dining plan or room charges" speech.

SHould I drive 2 hours and take her my laptop so she can logon;)

Yes, PLEASE!! Where was V when I had my little pity party yesterday morning??:confused3

ll--:hug: hopefully this ecomony gets better and not worse. :hug:

Thanks Rach...we're keeping our fingers crossed, that's for sure!!

Still have my deadline hanging over my head. I'm twiddling thumbs until I get a call from the client. He said he'd call around 1:30, so not too much longer. If we can get all the loose ends handled, I should be able to get home for dinner tonight! :yay: I'm keeping my fingers crossed. :worship:

Good luck!!!:thumbsup2

We all have to fly to WDW next weekend for our first weigh-in. Then we go down once a month for, say, a year, for weigh-ins. Sound like a plan?

Sounds great...wish I could do that too!!! Killing me to think I have to watch my money now. Tony will be literally killing me if he ever sees the credit card balances. I'm sooo not in a good place for us to be unemployed...:sad2:

Well, if money were meant to hold on to, it'd have come with handles, right?:confused3

...so you'll be around to grow old together.

Tony would say, "Don't threaten me!" :lmao:

HEY! :mad: Are you trying to get Jen even more points?

Come on, someone needs to tell ME...:confused3 I'm sooo outta the loop!!

I know. I'm cracking up looking at the photo in my siggie - I am a head above everyone else, even T - she must have been angling herself to LL.

Hey!:headache: I'm vertically challenged....not short, under tall...:rolleyes:

And I'm taller than V!!:snooty:

Ok, first that's not a STROLL - that's a hike. And it probably would be 15 minutes, if you don't get lost or hit by a killer pinecone. :scared:
Wimp :rotfl2: Hope the kids get better and you don't HAVE to play on the Wii ;) :rotfl2:

I got ALL of my ressies. Except I thought they were supposed to start taking ressies at T-Rex after the first of the year??? Are they not doing that?
Looks good, let me know how the Nemo seating goes :thumbsup2

jo-- you are beautiful!!! :hug:
:rotfl2: Thanks!

O.K... Mom's Panel Jo... How about you gals HOSTING a Weight loss challenge.. and the winner gets a Free Disney Vacation
So who's paying? Vecause I'm tight remember :rotfl2:

And then my mom came and I just spent 20 minutes trying to get her off my back. I love her, too, but she doesn't need to read this. :rotfl:
So true :rotfl2:

Hilarious :rotfl2:

I've got my first conference call tonight, I can also start answering questions :scared: :scared: :scared:

Hey!:headache: I'm vertically challenged....not short, under tall...:rolleyes:

And I'm taller than V!!:snooty:

No, no - it's that I'm TOO tall - you all made me feel like an ungainly giant! :rotfl2: And T's not helping me in the photo, because we're the same height, I'm pretty sure! :rotfl:

Yeah - I was a complete basket case in January when he was in there. It was crazy crowded...way too many shady looking adults and too many places where I couldn't follow him and keep an eye on him. Thought he'd throw a huge fit, but he didn't.

Since Jimmy has been on his ADHD meds, we have been having fewer meltdowns. DOn't know if one has to do with the other or not!:confused3

I bought the cook book - I'll bring it in and copy/email it - it was yuuummmmmy!!!

What book???

I was able to make ressies thru WDW dining for RFC, but they just give you the whole "does not accept dining plan or room charges" speech.

Oh good to know!

Come on, someone needs to tell ME...:confused3 I'm sooo outta the loop!!

I have no clue!

Hey!:headache: I'm vertically challenged....not short, under tall...:rolleyes:

And I'm taller than V!!:snooty:

:rotfl2: ME too LL!:thumbsup2

I've got my first conference call tonight, I can also start answering questions :scared: :scared: :scared:

Good, find out when we can start making ADR's for T-Rex!

Ugh. We just got home from the grocery trip from hell... I had to get ugly with the kids and take away all electronics for the whole day. Which left the Wii open for me all day. :rolleyes1 Until I realized that I have to have Baylie at the orthodontist in an hour. :headache: Still, I'll be playing when I get home. :banana:
#################################
Look! A pound sign separator! :lmao:
I'm in for the weigh in, but I won't be posting my weight. I'll do how much I went up or down, but that's it. no spandex or sports bras!

What about starting a Yahoo group? I can try and figure it out later. We can make it private and do invites for Fockers who are interested. How's that sound? :confused3 This may be the way (weigh?;) ) I get super serious is with accountability. I'm competitive... :rolleyes1

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CE & other drivers- How does the driving at night thing work? We are supposed to be at WDW Sunday and have a 17 hour trip. I don't want to stay over on the road more than one night. Kirt sleeps in the car, but I don't. Help me figure it out.
I can plan a WDW schedule, but this confuses me.:confused3
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
Jen- Your trip looks great! :yay:
S'Late- have you been to the doctor yet? :sick:
No, no - it's that I'm TOO tall - you all made me feel like an ungainly giant! :rotfl2: And T's not helping me in the photo, because we're the same height, I'm pretty sure! :rotfl:
I'm sure you're taller than T, I can also remember trying to get you to duck down a bit in our photos :rotfl2:
Oooh, fun! :banana:
I think I'll just mostly listen :rotfl2:
don't be scared!!!!! you already know the answers!!!:thumbsup2
Yeah but it's the wording it bit I'm wary of. I think after a couple of weeks I'll be fine :goodvibes
Good, find out when we can start making ADR's for T-Rex!
:rotfl2:
Oh ALL OF YOU MOM'S Panel People... :snooty: Split the cost :lovestruc
We only like getting stuff for free now you know :snooty: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
Off to do a bit of Wii Fit and be told how much weight I've put on since yesterday :rotfl: :wave2:
