Morning Fockers!!!

So glad to read such wonderful Christmas stories. :goodvibes

Mine was ok. I spent Christmas Eve finishing up my shopping then had to work. Got home and everyone was sound asleep so I decided to sleep 'til they all woke up.

Woke up at 1:30pm and watched TV with my mom while we waited for my brother to wake up (apparently he was up all night playing video games). :sad2: Mom started cooking & I started cleaning. We didn't open pressies until 6pm. :laughing: I got some DVD's that my brother bought with me on Black Friday :rolleyes: and that's it.
Went to the boyfriend's house and he got me some DVD's too and some earrings that were....ok....men should not attempt to buy jewelry without a woman's opinion. :upsidedow IMO

So it was ok, still had not been feeling very Christmas-y and I am thankful for my family and health.

I have the day off today, so just gonna chill out. I've been watching old Disney Christmas cartoons. Right now I'm watching Babes in Toyland. :goodvibes

I'll check in later! :hippie:

:wave: Morning all!

I feel like something the cat drug in. Yay!

:hug: to Katt. Sorry it's been a rough time lately.

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday!

Me too. It started with a sore throat Christmas Eve and I have gone down hill from there.

::yes:: Me too. I can't even talk my throat is hurting so bad...and my head...and a fever...blech.

Thanks for the recipe David! I've bookmarked it and will be making it as soon as I can find the excuse!
No problem! I may get ambitious this Passover and make one from the recipe.

We didn't do anything!
Nice pics! Love the cat under the tree. Sound like you had fun at the boss' house. Hope you didn't get too much flack from the family.

Hey, I'm up first again!
Hi Mel! :wave: Hope everyone liked the breakfast! Definite was eggs and grits on my menu this morning. We did not get home until 12:30AM this morning from our movie, dinner and friends evening. So, pretty much everyone slept in...except me.:sad1: I worked this morning on my project with the Monday deadline.

Have a good day! Hopefully, we can keep you from getting too bored. :surfweb:

I have the day off today, so just gonna chill out. I've been watching old Disney Christmas cartoons. Right now I'm watching Babes in Toyland. :goodvibes

Y'all get some rest and feel better! :hug: :hug: :hug: Jenny made some chicken soup earlier in the week; I may have to figure out if I can Fed.Ex. a dose to each of you. :)
===================================
So, as I mentioned above, we were out way too late for the kids last night. The kids and I saw Bedtime Stories. It was a keeper! :thumbsup2 Gotta feel good about the happily ever after ending! The other families had slightly older kids and went to see The Day the Earth Stood Still. I think the consensus was that they should have come with us. :sad2:

We went over to the house closest to the theatre and had Chinese food delivered. With six adults, six teenagers and the little ones (DS6 was the youngest), we got a variety of entrees, and everyone sampled. Our host also prepared home made chocolate dipped pretzels and rum balls. Yum! I only had two of the rum balls but was wondering whether I was safe to drive home three hours later. :rolleyes: After dinner, the kids watched movies and played video games, and the adults got some time to chat and play board games. Twas a very fun afternoon and evening. We left around midnight, so the kids were pretty much falling asleep on the way home and went straight to bed. DD9 did not make it up until about fifteen minutes ago.

I worked through the morning and am about to run errands. I'm hoping to kick back and relax most of the afternoon. I'll probably attack more items on the home computer to-do list, but I enjoy that for the most part. :goodvibes

TTFN! :wave:

Yes, David, I will take that soup. :hug: I just slept for 2 hours, but still feel like carp.

Hope you guys feel better.

Lurvvy, I found a tree you will like (not all the crap in front of it):

:laughing: :thumbsup2 That's my kind of tree! That was a lot of present too!:eek:

Hi Z! :wave2: Have a relaxing day and enjoy!

Hi Mr T! Thanks for the movie reviews and hope you enjoy your afternoon!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So still relaxing, just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Took a nap too. Now I'm watching Heroes on Netflix as I apparently missed this whole last season.
So did anyone go out shopping and get some good deals?
Happy Day after Fockers.
Hope you all had a wonderful day.
S'late and G-luv feel better:hug:
Well the whole puggymom clan was here yesterday and it actually went off without a hitch.
Murph slept over the last 2 nights and has now gone home, don't get me wrong love my mom, but after 48 hours or Murphisms, well you know...
the house is about back to normal, at least the kitchen is almost clean, still need to clean the floor.
Which reminds me I don't think I mentioned to you guys about my H20 steam cleaner. It really gets the tile floor cleaned and it is so much easier than regular mopping/scrubbing.
As my last post stated I am really aiming to spend more time on here so see you all shortly;)
Hi all,
We had an OK Christmas, the girls didn't wake till 6.45am which is normally unheard of. They loved all their pressies. I then went to Church with my friend Louise and the others then met us afterwards at her house for drinks and all the kids played on the Wii which was fun. Dad said a few things in his normal jokey way that annoyed me though.
We then went to Emma's today, she leaves for NYC on Monday so it was the last time seeing her, well not long after we arrive I just started having a huge go at my Dad (I never ever say anything and I've always been a huge Daddy's girl) and it turns into me screaming and crying at him over things that he keeps saying as jokes, he's done it since I was tiny, like he always called me ugly (he didn't mean it just his way) but I've always believed him and hate how I look. So today was just a build up :sad:
Anyway he was really upset but I doubt it will stop him in the future as he really doesn't know he's doing it!!!
Anyway hope everyones had a nice Christmas :rotfl:
Oh I also just got an e-mail to say my original signed WDW contracts never arrived even though I sent them on Friday 12th December :confused: So I've got to print a set off and mail them again but we've run out of ink for our printer!!!!
Hi guys - hope everyone is having a fabulous holiday!
Mine was elevated to new levels of joy when Leo came home yesterday, hugged me hard and said it was "the best Christmas ever" and he was "so happy to be home." :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes
I've got to go to the park with him now, and we leave for my aunt's in MD tomorrow morning, so I haven't a chance of catching up. Let me know next week if I missed anything critical, k?
If I haven't said it lately, I'm so very thankful for this amazing group of friends. You all are the BEST! :grouphug:
merry christmas everyone!! just a drive by!! just have to say one thing.... i hate moon sand!!!!
ME TOO! My BIL and SIL got it for Jimmy:headache:
Funny story:
We always give the kids all the toy books: Target, Toys R US, etc. DS9 just doesn't request much, so when I saw a Thomas set circled, we bought it. This morning, he said "I think Santa dropped this off at the wrong house; it was probably meant for next door." (they have a DS6) So I said, "but didn't you circle it in the Target paper?" DD9 chimes in with, "no, I circled it; I circled everything."
:lmao:
Well you are all gonna get a good giggle out of my Christmas.....
We didn't do anything!
Good for you!:thumbsup2
I am most likely out till Saturday evening. I am going back home ( to Ky) today
I lost another relative and the funeral is tomorrow. at least the weather is warmer.
This time it's on my Dad's side of the family.. and finally I have first cousins on that side... that have lost BOTH of their parents. I'm the baby but my folks died first..It's one of Dad's sisters. She was 91.. and all of them are OLD like this... and older... so this may be a VERY LONG YEAR... Dad always said that "when we start going... we are all going to go at once.
Hope Santa was good to all of you... I'll talk about my stuff later.
Anyway... so around 12:00 Sarabeth and I are leaving.
SO sorry for your loss Katt!:hug:
I didn't get DVC:sad2: BUt I did get some other lively things and I am still badgering Jim about DVC;) When I told him we could use points to go to Ireland and Austria, etc...he perked up a bit. I may be starting to reel him in;)
This morning I got up and went to TArget and Kohl's. BOth of them had nothing! I hit the jackpot at Walmart though:thumbsup2 $1.00 wrapping paper, bags, tissue paper, gift tags, etc. Came home and started making my gravy for the meatballs and sausage for tomorrows dinner!
Jim went up to bed, he's sick:sad2: . Jimmy and I played Operation - 626 Edition, then candyland, and then Flippin Frog. Then we have built 3 puzzles and Jimmy is working on #4.
I am having my family over tomorrow and then friends on Sunday. Hopefully I will get to check back in later tonight or tomorrow!
