Home from work, and I`m way too cold!!! but the house smells awsome from the christmas tree we got today! its pretty! when its all done I`ll take a picture!

Anyone wanna tell me what I missed???

It's been a carpy weekend here, to say the least.

We went on our "date" and it was a HUGE FLOP. We tried to go to the chocolate place and we were at the wrong train station and it costs another $2 to go back in plus KC spent like 45 minutes trying to fix his phone at a tmobile store. I was so annoyed I got snotty with the girl....

KC - "my phone isn't working, i can't get any service, I tried my sim card in my wife's phone and it works there so it must be my phone, i need some help.
Tmobile Girl- "we don't have any techs in the store, none at all, no one who can help you. you will ahve to trouble shoot over the phone"
ME- "how exactly do you trouble shoot over the phone when your phone doesn't work??"
Tmobile Girl- "Well i guess u can use one of ours."

Thank you rocket scientist!

Dinner was good tho, we had awesome french food. Chardonnay, warm goat cheese salad, escargot, porchini mushroom ravioli and duck a l'orange, and creme brule!

Then my feet started to hurt and I ended up buying sneakers in Kmart (where KC bought jeans for himself) and after a bad cup of starbucks we went home without doing anything we had planned.

Today KC worked all day and monolpoized the computer. Joy.

Anyways I'm off to read and hope tomorrow is better than today!

My Party for 16 DRUNKO woman went... well... drunko. I was a hurting Jen yesterday. Ouchy! Who would have thought that yummy Pomegranate Martini's could hurt? I got my house put back together today. i just need to return the extra martini glasses and tables and chairs to a friend, then return the pile of loot left behind by drunko middle aged woman.

We went to the Mall of America and spent a small fortune on Christmas gifts. It was my first time in the new American Girl Store. Ouch. That hurt. My bank account that is. Tink is getting some AG Bitty baby items for Christmas. She has drooled over that catalog for 2 years. She was in HEAVEN running through the store. She knew many of the dolls names, just by me reading the catalog to her.


We are having breakfast with Santa tomorrow at macy's. The only problem is that I don't have a CLUE what time it is at!? They sent me a confirmation with the date, but NO time! I have checked their website and they have removed the breakfast with santa information. Wish me luck!

so, i'm up early this am. i fell asleep on the cough last night at 730pm!! i must've been tired. we were supposed to go to mike's work christmas party. i found someome to work for me, then regan has a play at a friend's church this am and was very upset to miss it. (the xmas party was in wv, so we were going to drive down and spend the night with my mom). so, we decided to stay home. i really need to get the tree up today. i've somewhat cleaned the house , so i'll just wait for everyone to get up!!

i received more cards in the mail yesterday ( thank you all!!!) and my husband says you got more cards in the mail from your disney friends..... how many do you have and i didn't realize you were friends friends with them, how often do you talk???

oh honey , you have no idea!!!

i told him, um i talk to them almost every day! they even meet at disney world and one day we will meet them all!! he just gave me the weirdest look and said ok.

were any of your husbands/ friends surprised at how you can be such good friends with people on the internet??? he thought it was cool, but odd!

Morning Rachel! NotBob was pretty quiet about the whole thing UNTIL Fockerfest. He didn't say it was weird, or who are these people. He waited to meet them. And then he was SO impressed by their general AWESOMENESS that he was going around telling people, "Yeah, my wife has 30 something friends online and they all met in Disney! They're all COOL!!"

Some day your hubby will meet us and he'll be like, "Oh, so they're cool. Ok."

Kat, I'd catch you up but really all that I can remember is that CE's without power (as is my sister, who may have to have her whole house redone because it was crushed by a tree!), V is in WDW, Lessa is COLD, Janet's been shopping, Dawn is off to Schlitterbahn ( ??? ), T is studying for her coding test, Kristel is trying to get Doug to buy a sweater, haven't seen TE, No word from Mo, Slate's kids might have cleaned their rooms, Mr. T had and anniverary and a cold, We discussed mamograms, Jo's written more of her TR about Mom's Panel, Mr Diz is healing, Angela went to a fun party and Z was a grinch.

I'm sure I'm forgetting something or someone! Sorry!

Both boys have friends over, I baked about 10 dozen cookies. Today I'm doing chocolate chip, I will post the banana ones (later), got our tree decorated and Bob spent ALL day outside hanging the lights in the FRIGID air. Today it's going to be 40 ! LOL!

I am going to color my hair this am when their friends leave. And I need to get out to the store and buy myself something pretty to wear. We have a wedding tomorrow night (Monday?? weird huh?) and I have a pretty skirt but no winter tops!

Oh, but right now I'm signing all my Xmas cards since it's early and everyone is SLEEPING!!!

Good morning everyone! The family is still asleep, so I'm taking a few minutes to skim a bit and post a bit.

Cliff notes version - Three out of the five in our family, including me and Mrs. T, are sick. Mrs. T and I both have a cold with various sinus issues, and DS6 has a sore throat and fever.

Yesterday was pretty hectic here; Mrs. T and I both started the day battling a cold. We had a friend of DD9 sleep over Friday night, so we had an extra child in the house. Everyone was feeling a bit tired, so I was pretty much the only one who made it to services. I stayed long enough for the mourner's prayer for my mom then headed home.

I finally got frustrated enough with myself to cross the threshold of our local weight watchers for a meeting at 11. Turns out that as of last week they are starting a new program. I feel like I've made progress on the exercise part of my program; now I need to get a handle on the eating. I stopped at Fresh Market, conveniently located adjacent to WW, for some good for me produce and meats.

I got home from the meeting in time to see off DD9's friend and the friend's mother. About an hour later, I got a call from the friend's mom to let us know that she friend nits in her children's hair, including DD9's friend. Mrs. T was out picking up a present for DS6's friend whose party was later that afternoon. So, I called Mrs. T to pick up some appropriate shampoo, grabbed all the beddings from DD9's room and all her stuffed animals, and started laundering. Mrs. T picked up a fairly convenient kit that included the shampoo, a comb gel, and a fine tooth comb which she proceeded to use on DD9. The kit also included a spray can for surfaces that could not laundered, so I attacked the various couches and other areas with the spray can.

After all this activity, we found DS6 laying down in bed. DS6 never lays down in the middle of the day unless something is not right. He was feeling warm and his throat hurt, so Mrs. T took his temperature - over 102. He had a pretty good melt down when we told him he could not go to the birthday party. I was back out to the store for fruit punch and Sprite, his preferred hydrating fluids.

At this point, we called and canceled the sitter. Our date night was not destined to happen. I still have a sitter set for our anniversary Wednesday, but I guess we'll have to see how everyone is feeling. So, I went out again and picked up Indian food for the two of us. The spice helped to clear our sinuses.

I'm supposed to be supervising the food set-up at DS6's cub scout Hanukkah party today. I sent an e-mail out yesterday to the person in charge to let her know our situation. I haven't heard back yet, but I hate dropping the ball on something where I made a commitment to help, particularly at the last minute.

Until I hit preview, I didn't quite know how long I rambled. I guess I need to get it all out. Sorry for the wordy post.

She said that she thinks they'll be able to go back home IF the power ever comes back on. They didn't have any damage visible in the lower level (water ran down THRU the walls) and they hadn't lost clothing or gifts that she knew of. The major issue is no heat and no power. It's supposed to be in the single digits tonight! She told me to tell you thank you though. She also said, "Who are those people? They don't even know me." LOL. I told her you're angels.

I'm glad things are somewhat better than originally thought but still let us know if they need anything!

I've written my third installment but won't post till more Fockers have subbed to my TR

Why must we be punished?

Alright you guys. Don't be TOO chatty. I have to make dinner (I'm cooking burgers on the grill, in an sleet storm-Much to Bob's amusement!!)

You're crazy!

Left the house and went to breakfast at Friendly's. From there we went to Five Below and got Jimmy's pollyanna gift. Went to thebest store to buy some surprises for TInkerbelle's stocking. Went to Bed Bath and Beyond, then to Cracker Barrel to pick up a gift card. From there we went to Wally World (and for the first time ever went in and got everything I was looking for ). After that we headed to the mall so Jimmy could drop his letter to Santa into the Mailbox at the Santa Village. He did not get his picture taken. Didn't want to and we didn't force him.

Got home about 4:30 and started wrapping. Wrapped everything that is not Jimmy's. Gave Jimmy his bath and he is currently curled up on the couch watching Santa Claus is COming to Town and Jim is cleaning the basement! All we have left to do is wrap Jimmy's presents and write out the cars for Jimmy's class. I wrote out the envelopes, Jimmy will sign his own name!

And then ran a marathon, baked a 5 course meal... Slow down woman!

The date is with T (not the T here ), who I have been dating on and off for 2 years or so. It's on again.

So how's it going?

The gel clings....Jimmy and I are trying to decide where to put them Which means I will put themwhere i want after he goes to bed

That's exactly what Mitch said about all the cards! I got Jen's yesterday too. Love the penguins! I collect them so maybe next year I'll add a penguin tree. That will only be 5. Did you see the woman on the news, from MN I think, who had 37 trees? In her house! Next year she wants 45!

Looks pretty close to the Flex plan (points) in the previous program. The daily points calculator seems to have more factors than in the previous points plan. Core has been jettisoned. On the points program, they've added an emphasis to selection of filling foods (remember Core plan concept ). They've only gone over week one so far, but from prior experience and foreshadowing in the materials, they've included the activity points option. They also have something call the SetPoint option, which they indicate will be explained in week 5.

I'm going to give it a shot. I know WW worked for me at one point. I made Lifetime back in 1994. Of course, it's a whole lot harder now to lose than it was then...
