I'm just writing down the things we want to do in each area and we'll go with that. The only reason I wanted to cut and paste theirs is because of the cool hours, restaurants and other info in the sidebar. i could type that out, I guess... :sad2:

V? Oh V? This is the Poly calling! Call, go ahead..you know you want to! Right V. ;)

Oh V! You must use it!! Isn't your bday soon? I mean Disney is letting you in for FREE and you can get a giftcard for $70 (but according to Jo...and Disney you can't use it on food...*******s! )! C'mon V take advantage of the Mouse! Just sayin' :rolleyes1
I totally agree with this, V! :thumbsup2 You have to go for all of us that can't go on our bdays! And stay in the Poly! ;)

According to Jo :rotfl2: Think of it as souvenir money :thumbsup2

Just print out the ones you want and cross out the attractions you don't want! Don't they still do the make your own ones? They used to have all the hours and stuff on :confused3

:rotfl:

Ooooh I got edited!
You naughty girl you :rotfl2:

Has anyone else used Touringplans.com? I think Janet pointed me in that direction... :confused3
What I'm wondering is: With the touring plan they gave me, there are some things I don't want to do (Dumbo- the kids say "NO!"). I tried to cut and paste it into Word and delete those things, but it doesn't work. Anyone have any other ideas? :guilty:
I've been using Touringplans since they first built their website! :thumbsup2

Did you buy a 1 year subscription? If so, here's how to make your own itinerary:

First, print or at least have open their plan. This is teh BEST plan of attack and should be your basis.

Next, go to Personalized Touring Plans and Create A New Plan. Complete this plan using the original as your base and simply not including the rides you don't want. I don't recommend swapping them for somehting else; better to follow their Plan minus the rides you don't want, then start adding rides you want but UG didn't include. :thumbsup2

V? V? What's that I hear. I think it is the Poly calling for V?
:rotfl2:

Dawn - You can't really modify the plans.
Sure can! I currently have 8-10 of my very own, personalize dplans through them! See above...

Wooohooo you HAVE to use it V!!!

Nope, can't do it for my Bday - my boss will be out of town and I have to work. I also can't afford to spend ANYthing for a few more months. AND, the PIN is only good Sun. - Thurs., or has minimum lengths of stay for Sat. arrivals. They've made sure FL AP holders can't use it for a weekend getaway. :headache: So I need to first factor in taking Leo out of school and me out of work - if I can't find a way to do that, there's no reason to call.

I know- I could, but I don't do messy or cross outs. :snooty: :lmao:
Also, I'm not really happy with any of the plans. We don't want to do "baby rides" or "dumb shows", but that doesn't mean we want to do all thrill rides, YKWIM? :sad2:

Also, they seem to think you'll only get a few things in all day. We got 10 or more in before lunch! So, I guess I'm on my own for making a plan.

Well that stinks V. I guess it's not good over the long weeknds like President's Day (Does Leo have off for that) or over his Spring Break?

I put and Disney.....But I read it from your answer on the Mom's Panel ;)

Which is why I called them an illegitimate child. :rolleyes1
I just looked at my pin that I got and haven't been able to use and just saw that I can't use it for my birthday or for Yani's or anyone in my family's bday. :headache:

Hi Kate! Hope you get some sleep and enjoy your visit with the IL's
:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao:

Oh, that's right, I haven't worked on my TR in a while so you don't know.

Shhhhhh I don't do TP's anymore, we know the best order, to get FP's etc etc and just DO it :rotfl2:

Atta' girl! :thumbsup2

*******************

Here's the deal with HardRock Park (as I know it...we're only 2 hours away). Tourism in the state is way down. They tried to get attendance up all summer by giving SC residents half price tickets, but the cost was still stupid. Think Disney one day one park prices. And it seems they just couldn't compete with Carrowinds which has a very devoted following and is MUCH less expensive. Add to that the ever growing biker population in Myrtle Beach, and poof.

You are correct - it's blocked out for all the really useful dates.

Yep, WDW's shooting itself in the foot in some ways by alientating the FL community.

I know... But thinking is stressful and I just don't want to do stressful right now. :headache: :rolleyes1

Amazing! Thanks, V!

I'm sorry:hug:

Hi Kate!:goodvibes :goodvibes
Hi Janet :flower3:

I have a pet on there and now I'm afraid it'll die from neglect because I don't know how to get back to her. :upsidedow

I am so glad I'm not alone in my state of confusion. I stumbled upon my fish tank thing and it was like the Wii took over and I was in trouble because the water was muddy. I had to get a filter or they would swim away.

:confused3

Another note on Touringplans...

I also use their Cheat Sheets to make my plans, going hour by hour and filling in which attractions they recommend doing when. You can find these by first clicking on the park in question, then on Cheat Sheets in the left column. Be sure to know what your crowd level is for the day first. :thumbsup2

You're priceless, V! :goodvibes

A question for anyone who's been lately... When we visited last year, we would get FPs and just hold onto them until later in the day. As long as we came back after the return time, we were allowed to use them. Is that still the case? :confused3

I'm sure it is, except for maybe TSM. We did it for Soarin' in Aug.
