Just popping my head up to say "Hi!" :wave:

I had to pick up DS6 at school for a tummy ache but no fever. He seems okay now after about a 45 minute nap, but the fact that he took a nap is not a good sign. In any case, all the running this afternoon has put me behind at the office, so I'll have to be extra diligent tomorrow. :coffee:

Here are some :grouphug: :hug: :hug: :hug: :grouphug: for those in need.

She just says the meanest stuff...she's told them outright she doesn't want them to go beyond state because she doesn't want to have to go to Atlanta to the World Festival. She's been putting them down since August, telling them this won't work and that won't work, and now she's saying things like "if you survive the regional competition you are going to have to take ownership of the robot." As if they haven't been trying to do that all year and have been shot down time after time!

Sounds like she needs to find a new job:sad2:

and the weather was fab! But it's supposed to be 60 on Friday. :rolleyes:

Oh sure another one rubbing it in;)

It's icing now. :sad2:

We are at all rain and on a flood watch:sad2:

Just thought I'd tell ya' it's sunny here. :teeth:

Hey :mad:

It's sunny here too, Jen. And it's really bright when the sun reflects off the foot of snow!:lmao:

:rotfl2:

Hey Hey!

How's everybody doing this cold wintery day? It has been snowing non-stop all day, I have no plans to leave the house again until I have to go to work tomorrow night. :lmao:

I am super excited as I just got off the phone and changed my May trip from Pop Century to the Animal Kingdom Lodge! :cheer2: They only had standard view available so I am hoping for an upgrade once we get there, if not standard view is okay as there are lots of viewing decks around to see the animals. I'm also excited as AKL has a gym so I can attempt to work out while on vacation, don't want my hopeful progress to be lost while in WDW. :goodvibes

Awesome Lessa!:cheer2:

We talked about parks and the T-Rex meeting. Janet- she said she would cancel the T-Rex. She said it was overwhelming to her boys and they are older. :crazy2:

Thanks for the heads up.:thumbsup2

We also talked about skiping Animal Kingdom altogether. Am I crazy for wanting to do that? Last time Kirt rode the big roller coasters while we shopped. Then we rode the Safari tour and met characters. That's it -by lunch, we left.
My thinking is that we have a really nice Zoo in San Antonio and good BBQ here, so maybe it's a waste of time and money. What do you guys think? :scratchin I would be able to add a second day at DHS. Mel mentioned that just doing AI and LCMA tkaes half a day. Last time we didn't have time to do much at DHS and I wish we could have...

[/COLOR]

I'm not a big AK fan and only usually do a 1/2 day. Jimmy likes the safari and the LK show but that's about it. I would do the 2 days at DHS!:thumbsup2

Sounds like you have aalready decided. It does not do much for us either.
I ride EE with the kids. We all usually ride Dinosaur, and the Safari and that's it. Kali... I like it... but I hate getting soaked... and there is NOTHING WORSE than a Wet Fat Woman... Speaking from personal experience here.
We MIGHT hit up a character or two.. but not usually.

Oh, fabulous! You know how I love AKL. :goodvibes

My kids love Kali and enjoyed the Safari, but we don't do much there. Then again, DHS is a half-day park for us, except for TSM, which you can't do much more than twice, anyway. But then, we don't like shows. :confused3

Have fun - happy birthday to Kyle!

::yes:: We're at rain now, too. That was NOWHERE in the forecast - it was supposed to mix then turn back to snow. I'm concerned by the rain if it freezes again - currently 34 - as my driveway will be pure ice, as will the roads, and I can't have a delay tomorrow - I have my super fun tennis! ;)

Right up the street. There is an apartment complex with a pretty decent hill.:thumbsup2

We don't have any good hills within walking distance and considering that the plow just got to us about an hour ago, we didn't get to do any sledding today!

Jodi...you made me change my avatar early;)

I didn't make you do anything, Janet. If you rooted for a real team....:rotfl:

Ours stayed snow the entire storm, which is good. Because 13 inches of snow is better than any amount of ice!

Got the call about 45 minutes ago that they've already delayed school two hours for tomorrow. I think they just want to keep the busses off the roads during rush hour, since they don't know how bad the roads will be. I just hope we don't get another call in the morning, cancelling school!:sad2:

Kat - Sounds like a fun night out!

Leesa - Congrats on the upgrade to AK!

Rosie - Happy Birthday to Kyle!

Janet - Great snow pics! Looks like a lot of fun!

*********************************************

I'm about to get the kids in the tub and put them to bed. Schools are already cancelled for us tomorrow. UGH...3 days in a row!!!! We are getting out tomorrow come heck or high water!!! I need to go to the bank and the grocery store since we are getting low on stuff. I'm sure once we get out on the main roads they will be fine I just don't want to have to clean my van off. LOL

Hope everyone had a good night! Stay warm to those who have the snow, ice and rain.

Freezing is what i am worried about too

You got way more snow than we did ::yes::

:lmao: I agree. I hate the rides that you get wet on. Either way I'll have to talk to Kirt about it and he's asleep already. :sad2:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I had a lady from etsy.com make valentine chair backers for the kids. She just sent me a picture of how they turned out. They're so perfect!
mailbags.jpg
Don't copy the picture, if you can, because I don't want to log on and have the kids see them. They are a surprise. I'm going to put them on their chairs every year and put goodies in them for valentines day. I really try to do up valentines day for the whole family, so when I saw something like these on Jon and Kate, I had to find out how to get them. :thumbsup2
This is the place for Team Focker Watch members to congregate, chat, etc. Wanna talk about your latest lime green clothing score? Post it here! Gave someone the Lime Look and want to share? Post it here! Got pictures or tales of other TFW members you've met? Post them here!
As always, all are welcome. But who are we, anyway????
It all started with one woman's dream... a dream of finding a way to non-verbally acknowledge a fellow DISer across a crowded park...
Summer 2006: a terrific DISer named Lisa posed the question of how to acknowledge all those Lime Green Mickey Heads (LGMH's), lime green Crocs, lime green Baggallini's, lime green DISERS, when one is standing in line or otherwise unable to engage in conversation.
The answer? Robert DeNiro's infamous "I'm Watching You Focker!" gesture from Meet the Parents, now known as the LIME LOOK!
What followed was the joining together of many DISers willing to give the Lime Look to other DISers. We've come a long way, baby!
We are TEAM FOCKER WATCH!
One rule:
Let's keep it clean! We all know how much fun one can have with the name Focker, but let's refrain from inappropriate word-plays with it on the boards, k?
May I say that I have ignored this thread, basically because I tend to find that by the time I got to the CB, many of these threads were in their 3rd and 4th incarnations and don't explain what the heck is going on.
But the other night I noticed Jen (Goofyluver) in here and pooped in to say "HI', and tonight I finally looked in and read page 1.
Well let me say that this thread is right up my DD alley. She lives for giving the Focker stare (and does so many times throughout the day:rolleyes: ) and she loves looking for other LGMH in the parks. LOL-she's under the impression that I know EVERY person with one because I am on the Dis Boards. She'll see someone and ask me their name:lmao: .
Cool game folks and thanks for the explanation too:thumbsup2
Ya' know you're always welcome darlin'. ::yes::
Dawn those little pouches are so cute! I saw that last year on J&K+8 and thought that that was a really cute idea.
Uh oh...I think our cable just went out because of the snow and ice. Funny we have internet and phone though. :confused3 Crap, watch we'll have nothing tomorrow and both kids are stuck at home with me because of school being cancelled. GREAT!!!! :sad2:
Where is it warm again all year round because I'm moving there. The ex is moving to FL wonder if he'd take the kids and I with him. :lmao:
