Thank you:) I will leave all titles up to the group-I like to live dangerous:lmao: .

As far as drinks-alas I am a bartender by trade and according to my bosses a real oddity-a non-drinking bartender-lol. But if my candy *** had to choose it would be a Baileys on the rocks. I know-like I said I live dangerous:rolleyes:

Hi everybody!

Dawn - I hope everyone is feeling better. The chair backers are adorable. If you aren't into AK, don't waist your time. Go where you like to go. There certainly is plenty to do at WDW.

Lessa - Congrats on the AKL booking. You know that's my favorite!

Miz D - Welcome back. It sounds like you had a good time even though you missed Mel and you lost your furbaby. I'm so sorry about that.

Lori - Be careful while you are running your errands.

Jodi - I think we got about 7-8" at my house. Nice home!

CE - I'm hoping your weather doesn't get that much worse.

T - I heard about the man goin' off the deep end. What a waist. So sad.

Janet - Great pics of Jimmy in the snow. That snowman is awesome!

Kat - Offer valid for most Disney resorts at varying rates for stays most nights 3/1 - 3/9, 3/17 - 4/4 and 4/19 - 6/27/09.

Sample 7 Night Package at a Value Resort as low as $1375 including 7 Day Theme Park tickets:
For a family of four in a standard room

For stays most nights between 4/19 - 5/21/09
That's like paying $50 a night per person for this package
Total package savings of $416

Book through March 29, 2009!

Tell me what you had at the Cuban place. I've never had Cuban food.

Sharkb8 - I'm with you. Very bizarre behavior for a coach.

Rosie - Happy Birthday to Kyle. Glad you had a good time.

Angela - Why is it so busy?

G-Luv - Thanks Miss Sunshine. :sad2: 10 degrees as I write this.

We haven't heard from Rachel lately. I hope she is doing OK with the new place!

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((

I did make it home yesterday in one piece. Got behind a plow doing 20 MPH at one point. Of course, since I live in the boonies, they had only plowed our roads once. It's like driving a boat on choppy water when the snow is that deep. The main roads were clear when I came back into town to work tonight. They are predicting some more for today and tomorrow. I hope it will be minimal.

Doug and I are planning to meet some friends and my brother and SIL at a local Irish pub this Sat. night. They usually have a live Celtic band. I don't know if Doug can handle staying up that late.

Sunday the bro and SIL are having a Superbowl party. I don't even know who is playing but we're going. She said not to bring anything. OK. I think we will takes our own drinks.

Anybody else going to some SB parties?

Chat at you all later!

How fun! :cool1:

I had a lady from etsy.com make valentine chair backers for the kids. She just sent me a picture of how they turned out. They're so perfect!

Don't copy the picture, if you can, because I don't want to log on and have the kids see them. They are a surprise. I'm going to put them on their chairs every year and put goodies in them for valentines day. I really try to do up valentines day for the whole family, so when I saw something like these on Jon and Kate, I had to find out how to get them. :thumbsup2

I LOVE it... I wish I knew how to make a sewing machine do that stuff.
Mom's Old sewing machine supposedly did stuff like this.. at least the sales person demoed it doing this stuff. She sewed my name on some fabric.

Now a days... sewing machines are "COMPUTERS" . Touch this and BAM... you have a design.

Good Morning all Thanks for the Birthday wishes for Kyle !!:thumbsup2 Can't believe he's 7!! We had a lot of snow yesterday ! I am soooo sick of winter !!:scared:
I am off to work shortly !!:wave2: so no more:coffee: for me this a.m.!!:rotfl2:

Morning.... not so good, but it is light outside. I need coffee! :coffee: I also woke up with a headache, so that's not good.

So, we've got a 2 hour delay today. Better than another snow day. So, DD7 will get on the bus at 10:30 instead of 8:30. DD4 doesn't have school today (goes MWF), but we've got gymnastics at the Y this afternoon. I'll go and workout while she's in class. Otherwise, I've got to go to the grocery store today. DH stopped and bought milk on the way home from work yesterday, but we're in need of a lot more than that!

Tonight, DD7 has piano, followed by Brownies (since it was cancelled last night). I got my final cookie order submitted on Monday, so now I'm just waiting for delivery on Feb. 12th. I ordered extras for our first booth sales in February too, so if anyone wants some shipped to them, let me know.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Dawn, I love those. My sister needs one for Reid. :thumbsup2

Hi Lisa. :wave2:

Angela - Why is it so busy?
:confused3 Although there were large Brazilian groups and the cheerleaders come next week, so maybe some were here already.

Doug and I are planning to meet some friends and my brother and SIL at a local Irish pub this Sat. night. They usually have a live Celtic band. I don't know if Doug can handle staying up that late.
That sounds like fun! I like the Dropkick Murpheys, wonder if they are anything like your band. We'll watch the Super Bowl but since the Colts & Giants aren't playing, I really don't care. Although I'd like the Cardinals to win since I'm over the Steelers, sorry Janet. ;)

My mom called yesterday from Hawaii to tell me she wished I was there to sit by the pool with her. I do too, but who knew you were going?!

I'm off to get a haircut and enjoy the day before the cold front comes in. Stay warm and have fun playing in the snow. :wave2:

Here are some pictures from Jim and Jimmy's snow day
Looks like they had fun!

But.

REALLY?! They closed schools for that???!!! :sad2: :rotfl: All these school cancellations and delays are killin' me - I think I had 3 snow days in my entire LIFE in Buffalo! I remember driving through a freaking blizzard - on the Interstate - to get to the mall for work. More than once. And people wonder why I moved to FL - Buffalonians are insane, lol!

Sounds like you have aalready decided. It does not do much for us either.
I seem to have lost Dawn's original post, but I'm not an AK fan, either. Leo loves it, but only for the safari and the tigers. And the bats. I've solved that little problem by getting us a 2-year AP for Busch Gardens. :teeth:

I had a lady from etsy.com make valentine chair backers for the kids.
Very cute!

May I say that I have ignored this thread, basically because I tend to find that by the time I got to the CB, many of these threads were in their 3rd and 4th incarnations and don't explain what the heck is going on.
Welcome! You just made my day - I was tempted to skip the whole intro. post this time around, but thought "maybe, maybe, someone will want to join and needs the explanation." I'm glad I did it now!

I'm V, mother of Leo, living in FL. Resident Fuzzy Mathematician. Really, if you need a Disney fix, I'll figure out a Fuzzy way to finance it! :thumbsup2

. It's like driving a boat on choppy water when the snow is that deep.
This is the PERFECT analogy Kristel! :rotfl2:

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

Not much going on here. Leo had a rough day yesterday; his allergies are off the chart, which seems to make just simple thought difficult. He got a Warning at school for not paying attention and had forgotten to bring his homework home the last 2 days, so he had a ton to do last night. Hoping today is a better one.

As for me, well, I'm bored. Bored, bored, bored, bored, bored. Not much going on at work - it's almost like I'm just sitting here, on-call. And without school in the picture - it's getting old. May just need to start a Pre-Trippy to pass the time... :rolleyes1

OH! I know what I meant to share... I've been messing around with the Wii Fit I got for my Bday. I'm digging the step aerobics thingie, but the balance board on deep pile carpet isn't really cutting it, y'know? So I had an idea: I stacked it on top of my old step aerobics step that I've been using as a footrest under my desk. Perfect! :thumbsup2 Now I'm getting a much harder workout.

Looking forward to seeing it in June.. and checking out Sea World.. Just don't know WHY they could not locate their Parks ALL IN THE SAME CITY... PICK ONE PEOPLE :headache:
We upgraded our Busch Pass here to Premium.. and for less than visiting twice( with the normal discount) we recovered the difference. We normally only do the "Silver".. No Water Park. SO this was a double bump up.

So in a "fuzzy math" sort of way I'm saving money. :p At least that's what I tell my self.

Ohh Maybe that will work for me.. Now where did I put that thing :scratchin ... V.. check the top of your refrigerator for me..;)

Mornin'. 'Member the bully? He's back. I'll spare ya' the details...let's just say it's not good. And that li'l punk is in for it.

I'll be on my way to Jon's school a bit later.

Someone better send good thoughts to that school, because I am in no mood to play.

Wish me luck.

Ooo, I can answer that! Sea World wasn't originally an Anheuser-Busch park. I believe Sea World was an independent company, but don't quote me on it. Whatever it was, it wasn't doing well financially and Busch took the chain over. :thumbsup2

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl: Katt, if your step is black with turquoise steps, I'll crack up!

Oh no! Well, I can't think of anything good I'd like to happen to a school that lets that happen, so... GO GET 'EM JEN JEN!!!

Janet - Great snow pics! Looks like a lot of fun!

Thanks Lori:goodvibes

But the other night I noticed Jen (Goofyluver) in here and pooped in to say "HI', and tonight I finally looked in and read page 1.

Well let me say that this thread is right up my DD alley. She lives for giving the Focker stare (and does so many times throughout the day:rolleyes: ) and she loves looking for other LGMH in the parks. LOL-she's under the impression that I know EVERY person with one because I am on the Dis Boards. She'll see someone and ask me their name:lmao: .

Cool game folks and thanks for the explanation too:thumbsup2

Welcome aboard :wave2: I'm Janet. Probation Officer Supervisor, mom, wife, and official TFW Bookie!

Janet - Great pics of Jimmy in the snow. That snowman is awesome!

He did a great job didn't he:thumbsup2

Not here. Too late for me:sad2:

They should have been closed today instead of yesterday. Everything is just a sheet of ice today:sad2:

Sounds like we may need to get the police involved Jen!

Morning :goodvibes

The sun is still not out and I'm starting to go a little crazy :crazy2:

Anybody else going to some SB parties?

We used to throw a pretty hap-nin' SB party complete with 3 or 4 super bowl squares. The past couple I years I just haven't felt like it, but I do miss having the SB square.

Good luck, Jen. Don't let anyone mess with our buddy Jon. Give them the what for! :mic:

Thanks for the oohs and ahhs over the packs. I got them made from a lady for goes by StichesAplenty on etsy.com. I asked her to make them with the checked material and zig zag on it. They were $15 each and the name, and zig zag trim was extra, but only a little bit more. The originals were from Pottery Barn Kids last year. They have a owl one for this year that's on clearance for $12, I think. Anyway, if you order one, tell her Homeschoolmama sent you. :thumbsup2

Um, what is a super bowl square?

I think $15 is super reasonable for those! They look great. Do you give them goodies in the pouch?
