Do rates typically change (i.e. increase) or remain the same between "opening day pricing" for Pearl and what the rest of the lower Castaway Club status' get?
I saw a screenshot in a facebook group today that one cruise already had increased rates just over the course of today. (I'm sorry I don't remember which one/room category/etc.)
Unusual cruises (such as Panama Canal, Transatlantic, and Southern Caribbean) are more likely to fill quickly, and thus increase in price, than itineraries that are offered frequently.

It's extremely rare. I would relax and not get caught up in all unnecessary rabid hype. This board is not reflective of how most people book vacations.
I’ve worried in the past but it hasn’t been an issue for our last 3 open day bookings. We are gold so not the bottom of the tiers but not the top either. If there were changes they weren’t large enough I noticed. I realize that’s a limited data set and anything is possible but as someone who worried about it I haven’t needed to and two of them were unique itineraries, the other Alaska which tends to be popular. So I wouldn’t stress too much.
I have seen prices a few months later be quite a bit higher so open day can be a good deal but I’ve also seen it not really matter for some cruises.
