Today is DH's b-day. I have been working my pants off all day (nothing you all aren't used to hearing from me or that you all do everyday too).

Oh! I found an Elementary school friend on FB!!!! She was my best friend back when we were in 2nd/3rd grade 'til 6th. After I moved to Miami from Colorado we wrote letters (you know back in the day the pen and paper stuff?) back and forth but then lost touch. OMG I'm so exciting we're reminiscing.

I have gotten in touch with 4 people I went to grade school with. It's crazy isn't it!

Nope. I called today to try and get two rooms at the value resorts so I could get two gift cards and they had nothing.

Z- As far as I understand it's one gift card per reservation.

I am really excited that Dawn's new trip plans overlap with mine! I had plans to meet Jen (the meeting of the JEN's!), but it looks like I will get to meet Dawn too! I love it! I will have met: Dawn, Jen, V, Jo and Angela! That is a lot of FOCKER FRIENDS!

That's the thing it is paid in full, and we put it on our Disney Visa, so no interest if paid off in 6 months I'm going to like that part.

Named for the Swahili word for "artwork," Sanaa will feature African-inspired cuisine with an Indian touch and will be open for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant will serve familiar foods prepared in tandoor ovens, along with slow-cooked specialties showcasing the flavorful spices of Africa.

Regular guests can make reservations at Sanaa beginning February 23

I guess it won't be open until May.

D'oh! I'll still ask. We only need 1 room. I do like the idea of staying in a moderate. Darn on the gift card too! I'm not greedy.

Does that gift card have restrictions like the Birthday one? Does anyone know? Because if I can use that one on food that would be great!

It might be a short trip though because I was planning a Vegas trip in August. I know....Vegas in August , but I thought it would've been cheaper that time of year. I'm still researching.

Not much happening here.

As you know, I work a 12 hour shift and don't leave for home until 6 AM. I'm usually in bed by 7 AM. This morning I was awakened out of a wonderful deep sleep around 10AM by a knock on the door. 3 loud ones to be exact. The dogs start barking. I can't make up my mind whether to grab my gun or some clothes. (don't ask) I chose clothes. It freaked me out. By the time I get to the front door - nobody. I turn around and see a truck with a boom lift parked by my pole barn. I see a guy climb into the truck and turn around and leave. I'm pretty sure it was the electric co. I have no idea what they wanted with that big truck. I only have 1 tree near a power line and there is no way they are going in my swamped yard for that with that big truck. They have my phone #. Can't they just call and tell me what is up. Needless to say I couldn't get back to sleep until 11:30 AM. I was up at 2 PM. These are the hazards of a vampire lifestyle. To top it off, I have to stay over an hour this next morning. YIPPY!

I hope everyone's day goes well. I think it is supposed to rain here. It is still warm, well warm for us. Later Fockers!

Just stopping in to say good night. I got out of class early tonight and spent the extra time getting some cloths for the trip. I got some new pj's also. I am still wearing the nursing pj's from when Bug was a baby. He is now almost 5.
I can not even begin to catch up on around 20 pages. Hope all is well with everyone.
