I forgot to tell the mamas of girls who love Justice that they are having their J Bucks promotion right now. You spend $50 and get a $25 off $50 coupon for April. They also gave me a $15 off $40 for May. I still was able to use my coupon too.:cheer2:

With the sales and my coupon, I got a swim suit, two tanks, two pairs of shorts and flip flops for $50. Not bad. Next time I'm going to get B's swim suit and more tanks. :hyper:

Good morning, maybe. :rotfl2:

I am very tired. Warning, rant ahead:

And add me to the very tired, can't sleep club. With all the **** going on with Jon and I...I'm lucky if I settle down for 4 or 5 hours a night. :sad2:

How is everyone today?

 all around.

Here's hopin' everyone has a happy, healthy, wonderful day.

Weird day at work. Today is the funeral for my co-worker. I'm not going, I am holding down the fort so to speak. I asked my boss if I could fire anyone while I was in charge but he told me no:sad2: He did agree to allow me to transfer people though:thumbsup2 :lmao:

Oh Just shoot 'em and answer questions later.. Ya still got yer Bullet Deputy ;)
If the boss asks what happened tell him "self defense"

See, growing pains!
I wonder what it means that I still have growing pains at 38 and unfortunately stopped growing quite a while ago. :confused3

I asked my boss if I could fire anyone while I was in cahrge but he told me no:sad2: He did agree to allow me to transfer people though:thumbsup2 :lmao:
Transfer them to the parking lot. :rolleyes1

BA is not happy with Justice---she wants limited too back. She went through the store last week with a 30% off coupon...........went back out............and went to Hollister. :confused3

:sad1: Drat... That could have come in handy for me in June too:sad1:
We are looking to do both Busch and Universal .Be our first time.
But I'm happy for all my Sisters. I just never hear about the offer.. must have been while I was MIA

You should move to NO SNOW HERE, Virginia :guilty:
Mom went to Roanoke today---hopefully they are making it ok.
Oh, man. I'd be miserable. We actually made it TO school the whole week - the first time since the week of 12/1. I wish I was kidding.
Well, they went to school 2 hours late today....so that's something! It MAY get above freezing today....we'll see.

So Far... I'm not seeing it... but the store is still new to us.. May change when the spring stuff comes in

Heading to Lewis Gale ??

So what is your snow total ??

Yes, they are heading to Lewis Gale---he has 3 doctors appts starting at 8 am.........keep in mind,,,,,,,he sleeps till 10 every morning, so I was really doubtful mom could get him going. It takes him a long time to get ready with his RA.

I think we have around 5inches----had 2 storms back to back so kinda hard to tell. Haven't seen the ground in a while though---well, except where Bear keeps digging---he runs out and starts digging holes in the snow. :confused3 Must be a lab thing---my poodle just prances back in and says "it's still cold":snooty:

Justice---BA thinks they are styling for younger kids. She says middle schoolers in Marion do not wear ruffles.:confused3

:lmao:

Real girls wear leather ??:rotfl2: I don't think it would fly in Roanoke either
Sara likes her ruffles but only for Church... she would dress in her Pageant gowns for Church is I would let her.

The clothes are cute... it's just a different time.

I am sympathetic, though here I'm the one who doesn't sleep well. I usually give it a shot though and if it isn't happening I leave for the couch or guest room.

Not sleeping well will make you a nut. I know. Hopefully it's just a phase with the little one though. Boys have weird sleep issues at around 7-10 yrs old. Don't know why but every friend I've ever asked through the years has confirmed this to me....
Love you. Hope your Friday gets much better!
MEL

Oh, thank you. I know it's not that big of a deal... I am lucky that I usually sleep well, and I really do sympathize when people aren't, even including D ;) . I think I was actually more upset with the "non consideration" than the lack of sleep. When he has to get up at 4:00 - routinely happens for his flights - he goes to bed way before me. I make sure I'm totally ready to sleep when I do finally go up. I sneak in, don't turn on lights, don't talk to the DOG for goodness' sake, don't ask to turn on a light, nothing. But if I'm sleeping, and he can't sleep, he tosses, turns, sighs loudly, etc. Seems like there's an "if I'm awake, you should be, too" attitude, where I think he'd be pretty peeved if I did that before his early calls. :sad2:

CE, I don't sleep well either. :grouphug: Sometimes when I'm awake at 3.00 in the morning, I want to cry because I'm so frustrated at being awake. I hope the rest of your day is better.

Oh, honey. I'm sorry. I know I'm lucky that I usually do sleep well.

CE, leg cramps are a big issue at my house. Seems the boys always get them for several nights in a row, and then I look at them and they seem 2 inches taller. A low dose of tylenol usually does the trick. I hope Woody has a better night tonight. Can you catch a nap? I hate broken sleep.

I might get a nap. I figured on growing pains, too. It was just too bad it was an hour after his dad woke me up, so I probably wasn't as sympathetic as I could have been. :guilty:

He goes down, I go down, my glasses go flying off. I was able to protect him and he's fine but I now have a scraped hand and wrist and a skinned knee. I HATE WINTER!!

Oh, I'm so sorry. I hope you're OK.

But it's always me. Scott can most always sleep.
I think of all this "STUFF" that needs doing... and then I can't sleep.

Have a HUG

Oh, thank you. I get that way sometimes, too, and I do understand when he can't sleep it's not his "fault" and it sucks - but it doesn't mean that he has to wake me up, too. ;) I'm sorry you're having problems, hon.

(CE- Kirt falls asleep almost every night downstairs and it's impossible to wake him. When he does come to bed he snores me awake, so I don't try too hard, either!

See, this is what I don't get. He can't sleep in bed, but he's usually asleep on the couch for at least an hour and a half before I head up to bed. So, he CAN sleep, just not in bed...? I used to wake him up when I went, but then he'd go up and toss and turn. So I quit, because I figured he needs the sleep, so WHERE doesn't matter, right? He thought I was doing it to be mean, but once he finally asked and I explained I was trying to HELP him get some rest, he understands and is OK if I don't wake him when I go up. Last night, he just happened to wake up with a galvanic start when I reached on the coffee table to get my iPod.

And yeah, he's a snorer, too. :lmao:

 Jimmy has been waking up with leg cramps too. Dr. told us growing pains. Watch in the enxt week or so he will have had a growth spurt

Yep, I'm sure. I just was a bad mom and didn't want to deal. :sad2: Maybe we'll try some Tylenol prior to bed tonight.

Weird day at work. Today is the funeral for my co-worker. I'm not going, I am holding down the fort so to speak. I asked my boss if I could fire anyone while I was in cahrge but he told me no:sad2: He did agree to allow me to transfer people though:thumbsup2 :lmao:

Oooh, have fun being in charge - but I'm sorry about the reason.

And add me to the very tired, can't sleep club. With all the **** going on with Jon and I...I'm lucky if I settle down for 4 or 5 hours a night. :sad2:

Oh, honey. I'm sorry.

Well, they went to school 2 hours late today....so that's something! It MAY get above freezing today....we'll see.

Hey, at least they went! :)

She says middle schoolers in Marion do not wear ruffles.:confused3

I'm not sure why, but this made me laugh out loud. :rotfl2:

********************************************************
I went to school and spiffed up the bulletin board a little, then did my reading volunteering. It was fun! I'm home now. I asked D if he wanted to go out for lunch, and I think he does, but he's working on safety stuff from home and wanted to finish up before we go. We'll probably just go to the local bagel/wrap cafe.

I'm doing better after coffee and a shower, and I know that my sleep deprivation doesn't compare to those of you having chronic issues, so I'm sorry I was whining. :grouphug: But, I'm so grateful to have you all to whine to. :goodvibes

Oh! I know this routine! And the snooze button? Whoever invented the snooze button needs to get whacked upside the head!

Yes! ::yes::

CE: We are here for you to vent to NO MATTER the reason. :thumbsup2 It's hard to be rational when you haven't slept. Did I ever tell you guys about the time I let the "F" bomb fly on SD when he woke me up 3 times out of a sound sleep in ONE NIGHT? Dear God. Not a stellar Mommy Moment there. I was completely irrational. :sad2:

So, really, Kavetch away. We love you.

MEL

I wonder if I should check the back yard to be sure he didn't fall on ice or something. ;) (He prepped the house for the dog being alone, though, so I think he's really gone.)
Did you find him? :rotfl2:

Busy Busy Busy

1469_businesswoman39s_computer_o-1.jpg
That's great :rotfl2:

I just cleaned out my closet...THAT'S bored!
Wow I wasn' that bored :rotfl:

I wrote my 25 things for FB and sent it to my sis for a preview. She told me I was brave putting some of the stuff I put. I didn't think anything was TMI, but not she has me rethinking posting it.
She says she has "no filter" when it comes to saying things. I can't believe I put something on there that she wouldn't even put. :rotfl2:
I so want to read it :lmao:

Dear MEL,

Congratulations! You are one of the first one hundred thousand (100,000) individuals to successfully register for the Universal Heroes Promotion, administered by ePrize.

Fantastic!!!! Is it 1 ticket or family?

I got it too! Thanks to you, my dear. :goodvibes You're the one who posted it here. :thumbsup2
Wooohooo!

Ooh, in fun prize news, I have a shot at one of the amazon.com Kindle thing-a-ma-jigs. :) They are having a "breakthrough novel" contest, and if I responded quickly enough, I should be able to read forty 10-page submissions, review them, and get a Kindle! I should know by tomorrow if I made it.
What's a kindle???

I got the Universal ticket too!
Yay!!

Count me in on being a winner in the Universal ticket offer, I'll be using it for my September trip:thumbsup2
Wooohooo, you can all go together :rotfl2:

My DS won 3rd place in the Imagination Fair at school tonight. His category was English Literature, which he wrote a "book" on our new President and how he feels about him. :)
Fantastic!!!

JCPenney was having some awesome deals already. I saw a lot of stuff under $10. Mostly blouses and sweaters. I ended up at Kohl's. Got a new pair of Avias - $30 and a 70's style long cable-knit sweater with big buttons for $16 - usually $52. Macy's didn't have much of a sale yet. Well let's just say 50% off of their stuff brings it down to regular price everywhere else. I'll bide my time and go back at the end of the month.
Sounds like you got some bargains!

We estimate your IQ to be: 133... The average person has an IQ of 100 - if you are over 100 then you are above average.:rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
:thumbsup2

I am very tired. Warning, rant ahead
I love my sleep too, David has the opposite problem if I ever go away he can't sleep without me, awww!

I get him out of the car and start walking up the driveway and slip on a patch of snow with ice under it. He goes down, I go down, my glasses go flying off. I was able to protect him and he's fine but I now have a scraped hand and wrist and a skinned knee. I HATE WINTER!!
Oh no, hope you're both OK!

I asked my boss if I could fire anyone while I was in cahrge but he told me no:sad2: He did agree to allow me to transfer people though:thumbsup2 :lmao:
:rotfl2:

The snow has near enough gone, done nothing except answer questions, hoover the whole house, go on a 1.5 hour walk with David and play 16 rounds of Mario Kart (I only one 1 )

Oh Just shoot 'em and answer questions later.. Ya still got yer Bullet Deputy ;)
If the boss asks what happened tell him "self defense"

:rotfl:

I wonder what it means that I still have growing pains at 38 and unfortunately stopped growing quite a while ago. :confused3

I asked the doctor the same question. She told me to drink more water:confused3

Transfer them to the parking lot. :rolleyes1

I'd lke to put some of then UNDER the parking lot:rolleyes:

So you didn't do much today, eh? :lmao:

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I haven't transferred anyone yet, but I do have all the paychecks : :scratchin

That's great :rotfl2:

I'm glad ya like my little cartoon of you:cool1:

:rotfl:

I'd lke to put some of then UNDER the parking lot:rolleyes:

I haven't transferred anyone yet, but I do have all the paychecks : :scratchin

Well.. it sounds like you have just what you need to keep people in line... If not there is always option 2 ( shoot 'em) and Option 3 ( Under the parking lot) :rotfl:

I haven't transferred anyone yet, but I do have all the paychecks : :scratchin

Can I have one?! :flower3: :rotfl:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Afternoon, sleep deprived Fockers! :grouphug: V literally can't function without enough sleep, so you definitely have my sympathy. And Leo didn't want to get up this morning, either.

But... I can't blame him: my complex was a sheet of ice! Really - even the road was icy this morning. Crazy!

Still more talk of budget cuts around here. Some people seem to think we can cut a bunch of programs, but keep people... um, we have a less than $2mill budget and 70% of it is payroll. With a 30% cut, we'd have our full staff of 14 doing NOTHING!

Wow. You had it much worse than we did.

:grouphug: That's a scary thought, V.

Thanks for the :grouphug: everyone! DR is fine and he was so cute when I fell. He popped right up and was like 'Are you OK mommy? Are you really sure your OK mommy? I'm fine, but are you OK?' Little gentleman. :rotfl:

Thanks for the info about Justice Dawn. Linds likes the store and she has birthday money that she has been dying to spend. I might take her up there this weekend and let her pick out something.

:grouphug: To all of you with sleep issues. My mom passed away and I was going through my divorce all at once so the whole no sleep was with me then. I am not a morning person to begin with but then add the whole no sleep issue to it and I was just down right mean. :guilty: Linds has yet to have growing pains but I'm sure its coming for us.

****************************************

I stopped at Target and got the things I needed to make cookies. The $1 spot had a lot of things. :) I have about an hour before I have to get the kids so I'm taking a quick cat nap.

Hope y'all are having a good Friday!

So now I'm tired and cranky, and I'm sorry as it's such a small problem in the grand scheme of things, but I needed to vent that out. :rotfl:

I totally understand! Mr Diz falls asleep on the couch every night while we are watching tv, then he can't fall asleep until about midnight. He has a lot of stress at work right now and complains about being tired all the time. I've told him he needs to quit taking a nap before bedtime and just go to bed earlier.
DD has been having trouble sleeping since her tonsils were taken out and I get up with her in the middle of the night. (He did take last Friday night and let me sleep in Saturday morning.) I am totally exhausted. In fact, I was up with her the entire night Monday/Tues morning. Last night I couldn't sleep. Mr Diz gets mad if I complain about being tired because I'm not in an office all day. It irritates me.

TE- Baylie's not a fan of ruffles either. We like the tanks and some of the shorts. :thumbsup2

Hugs for my sleepy Fockers! :grouphug:

Lori- Happy shopping! :cheer2:

We're headed to volleyball now. :wave2:
