Janet, your trip sounds fun.... :rotfl2: at tramploning to get your way. ;)

Hey, a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do;)

Doug is doing a little better every day. We put the trampoline away for a spell. It may be back out now.

Glad to hear this:goodvibes

Janet - The trip to Williamsburg sounds fun. I haven't been there in ages but loved it when we did go.

Jim I went in 1999 and 2000 and really liked it!

:wave: Your trip sounds like fun and naughty girl using the trampoline :rotfl2:

:littleangel:

My godchildren live in Richmond, so we've been a few times. I'd love to actually stay there though.

SO, maybe you can come up and visit in August;)

Mitch wanted steak at a reasonable price, so we went to Outback last night. I didn't eat meat, but we had a nice time anyway. :goodvibes Very crowded, but we did call ahead seating, so the wait was minimal.

Haven't been to Outback in ages. It will probably be packed today.

I bought the new Roxio Creater 2010 and have been converting old VHS/VHC tapes over to DVD.

Where did you get this? I wanted to get one for Jim for Christmas. I got him a USB Turntable to convert albums to CD.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and wish all of my favorite Fockers a very...

Hi Michelle :wave2:

Janet - I loved Williamsburg, took Ryan when he was 9 (now 20). He ended up loving the restored area and was a member of the Jury during a mock trial. It turned out he loves history like his Aunt. We loved Busch Gardens, great coasters, very clean, but big Hills!!!!. Are you going to the water park there? Oh and Ryan also loved Jamestown, we never made it to Yorktown.

THe kids are 7 and 6. SOme of those coasters I won't do, so I definitely won't let Jimmy do:scared1:

23 more points, but I'm worth it.

Yes you are:goodvibes Still going in June too?

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Hey Fockers! :wave: Jimmy slept until 8:00am and we've have been just having a lazy Sunday morning. We agoing to see Jim's parents for a little while and then we are taking Jimmy to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. After that we will try and find someplace to have dinner.

Other than that, not much going on here. Hope everyone has a lovely day.

:love::love::love:
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
:love::love::love:

While Denise was here we planned a four day trip to Williamsburg.

I was actually thinking of going there as a cheaper vacation option.

Kat: Hmm never heard of that series, will check it out. If you like hot sci-fi guys/romance try Alyssa Day's Atlantis series. Meg Cabot's books are fun. I liked the Boy Next door which is all in e-mail form. She has another one like that, which is kinda a sequel or prequel but I can't remember the name. I agree with CE about the Size 12 series too.

I had a girls day with my friend Yani. We hardly see each other at work because either she's busy or I'm busy, so every now and then we've decided to do a movie and out to eat whenever there's something we want to see.

We saw the movie Valentine's Day early this morning and it was cute. Pretty predictable for the most part, but definately a feel good foofie movie. I feel bad for the guys who will be dragged to it by their significant others.
Then we hit up TGI Friday's for lunch, since I had a coupon and they have the 3 courses for $12.99 deal going on. :thumbsup2

I will have to add those to my paperbackswap list! Yay for a girls day with Yani! i'll prob download the movie LOL but it looks cute. And I cracked up because the Fridays deal here is 3 courses for $20!!!

Mitch wanted steak at a reasonable price, so we went to Outback last night.

I have been seeing those darn commercials all week and wanting to go there!

I bought the new Roxio Creater 2010 and have been converting old VHS/VHC tapes over to DVD. My first project was actually a previous conversion from 8-mm to VHS. It's of my parents' wedding and my family when I was about 3 years old. I was so afraid that the VHS tape would deteriorate more, so I am so glad that I am preserving it longer. I made a bunch of DVD copies. My next project is my wedding. I have 2 long VHS tapes of that, plus our honeymoon in Disney World. After I get that done, I'll try to post some clips on youtube. We have video of us in the skyway and the old Horizons building.

OK I so need that! I have a TON of VHS tapes of my wrestling stuff and eventually my vcr is gonna die. LOL.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Happy Valentine's day!!!!!!!!!!
KC is working until 5, but its from home, so we are watching all our home movies we have had sitting around and never really watched. we watched my surprise trip to for KC to Vegas stuff yesterday, now we are watching our one trip to DL stuff (we recorded wishes, alice, pirates and HM) and next up is our WDW 2007 trip! I am excited to watch 'em!
We are planning on baking some peanut butter and jelly bars for oue dessert and then making dinner together and just relaxing. We will contine laundrypalooza tomorrow night and tues i am GOING OUT. I need to get away from Bug Hell.
Anwyays have a great day everyone! Happy V-day to all the Fockers!
Sounds like fun!
I see we were posting at the same time again:lmao:
Glad the foot is better:thumbsup2
Seems to be the way... ;) Thanks!
Anwyays have a great day everyone! Happy V-day to all the Fockers!
You, too!
The boys did really well doing their book reports - just gluing left to do. :thumbsup2 They are getting ready to go to the park, and I am going to do some basic clean up that just needs some doing. I've been really on top of the kitchen/bathroom counters and stuff, but it's vacuum time. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:
I also need to figure out dinner plans and such for tonight. We're dropping the kids at Tara's at 5:00, which makes dinner harder. I don't know if I should feed them early, take food, or whatever - and then there's us. We won't be done until 7:00. I don't know if the club restaurant will be open tonight or not. They're not usually on Sundays, but with Valentine's Day... And I don't know if Tara wants to eat out or just get home because we do all have school tomorrow. :confused3
I have to start thinking about the ski trip stuff, too - groceries and whatnot. I need to do laundry... Wow, suddenly I feel like I should be busy! :rotfl2:
Where did you get this? I wanted to get one for Jim for Christmas. I got him a USB Turntable to convert albums to CD.
OK I so need that! I have a TON of VHS tapes of my wrestling stuff and eventually my vcr is gonna die. LOL.
I got mine at BJs Wholesale Club. It was priced at $79.00, but at checkout, there was a $20 instant rebate! :thumbsup2 So far, so great. I am spending a lot of time doing this, so my FB addiction had dwindled, probably for the better right now.
I also have the USB turntable. I started recording the songs on the computer and then my computer crashed and I lost everything. Now it's sitting in our basement. I'll get back to it someday. Honest I will ... ;)
Mo when in September are you going ??? I am very defnately THINKING of going in Sept and for me mid month works best so I was looking at 8th thru the 16th !! Will we have a chance to actually meet ????? Are any other Fockers going in September !! ?????
Play Wii golf. :lmao:
:rotfl2: actually we were going too but watched UP instead! Glad you had a nice meal and meant to say yesterday that I got your valentines card, you're so sweet, thank you and you did have the number of my house correct :thumbsup2
I bought the new Roxio Creater 2010 and have been converting old VHS/VHC tapes over to DVD.
That sounds great and what a bargain price too :thumbsup2
I am off to breakfast on Judy for Valentines Day!!!!!:thumbsup2
Hi Michelle, don't be a stranger :goodvibes
so I just called and switched to BC, 23 more points, but I'm worth it.
I really want to stay there, good switch :goodvibes
Thanks to everyone asking about my foot. It's OK. I feel it here and there, but I'm not all limpy or anything. :thumbsup2
Be careful at tennis!
D and I got all wrapped up for a walk and it started raining and didn't stop for the rest of the afternoon :sad2: so we watched UP instead, why does it make me cry everytime??? And then I've made David a happy boy, mind out of the gutter please, as I managed to load his favourite scenes from Seabiscuit onto his ipod :thumbsup2
Happy Valentines Day!
Just wanted to pop in again. I've really been missing everyone over here the past few weeks. I'll blame my absence on my school schedule. I have 7:30 and 8:00 classes. theres just no way i can get up early enough to get there and still have time to check in during the morning.:surfweb:
Im waiting for marc to get home. He just got off shift this morning and should be here in the next hour and a half or so. Im making up some sandwiches and well walk over to the park for a picnic. He doesnt know what were doing yet, so I thought it would be funny to leave him notes throughout the house. On the door theres a letter with instructions to come inside and shower and ill leave some clothes with a note that says wear me, a drink with drink me, a backpack (ill give him the funny yoda bag) with the drinks that says carry me, etc.
hope everyone is having a great 3 day weekend!
Hey Focker Watchers...
885206x889571ebd.jpg
:rotfl2:
Today was pretty boring for me. I spent it pretty much between the computer and the laundry room. Finishing up on drug sheets for Medical Assisting and laundry. I wanted to get it all done today so I can spend tomorrow with the kids.
DR and I did Valentine's shopping on Friday and I told him not to tell his sister what she's getting. Of course what was the first thing out of his mouth when we picked her up yesterday?
'Hey sissy...guess what mommy got you???' :headache:
I shouldn't have said anything and he would have never breathed a word to her. I can't wait until next year when he is in Kindy and Linds will be in 2nd and I can shop alone!
That's about it for me. Going to finish watching the Olympics and the news and then heading to bed.
I'm glad I could make you chuckle. Kids and secrets, it never works.
Evening All!! I amoff from regular work for 3 days just gotta do parttime tomorrow !!! Only nthing is the kids are off school too!!!
Didn't you just have a vacation??? What gives?;) I hope you have fun with the kids.
I'm fed up with lazy days. Ellie is still too sick (cold, runny nose etc) to go out somewhere and the weather is not nice enough to do anything, I'm bored.
I know what you are saying. I'm so tired of the winter blahs. It was sunny here today but it looks like gray days for the next 3 days.
Hello! and Thank You!
Happy Valentine's day Fockers!!
So I had a standard view BW studio booked for my September trip, figure I would save points with the standard view. But I have gotten to the point I like to spend time at the resort and pool and I loved the idea of Storm Along Bay with that lovely sand bottom at BC in September, so I just called and switched to BC, 23 more points, but I'm worth it.
My day is going to be filled with a bunch of doing nothing on the couch.
I think that is wonderful! If you don't pamper yourself, who will?
Happy Valentine's Day! :goodvibes
I've been reading along, but not quoting. Sorry. Hi! :wave2:
Thanks to everyone asking about my foot. It's OK. I feel it here and there, but I'm not all limpy or anything.
Not much going on today. The boys are working on the book reports, and DBIL called, so he's on the phone with them.
Lazy day... D & I are playing tennis with our friends at 5:30, but we've got nothing until then. Woody is informing DBIL that they're going to the park, though. So it's possible that that will happen. I need to do some cleaning, so I'll likely stay here.
Hope you're all having a lovely day!
I hope your day went well. I figured the foot might bother you when you played tennis. I'm glad it is doing OK.
Hey Fockers! :wave: Jimmy slept until 8:00am and we've have been just having a lazy Sunday morning. We agoing to see Jim's parents for a little while and then we are taking Jimmy to see Alvin and the Chipmunks. After that we will try and find someplace to have dinner.
I am doing the cooking-palooza thing today. Then I'll veg in front of the TV tonight. Glad you having a fun day. How much would you charge me for shipping some of them PB&J bars???:rotfl2:
The park trip sounds fun. Are you doing well in school?
Doug and I went to the World of Walmart and Aldi today to get a few groceries. I'm working the next 3 nights. Thurs is IU Med day for the infusion. Then I will work 5 nights. So I won't have time to get any groceries until the week after next. Good thing we have a big freezer.
I've been washing and cutting vegies for Doug. He likes them with a little dip for a snack. I separated some pre-made bag salad for me to take to work. I'm baking a gooseberry pie for him for V-day. Then I will cook up some chicken and smother it in some Campbell's broccoli soup. I'm roasting some cauliflower with butter, garlic, paprika and parsley for a side. I made cheesecake last night. I have some blackberries to put on that tonight too.
Pie is done. Gotta go.
You may not see much of me for the next week. Be good and have a great week!
HI Fockers!
CE - what happened to your foot, glad it's ok. I still can't believe we have more snow that you do and it's half way through Feb!
Rosie - my dates are 9/8 - 9/18, but the first 3 nights are not Disney, I check into BC 9/11. Going to Seaworld and Busch Gardens first.
Kristel - we had an Aldi's open sort of near here. I made it once, I loved the prices of the meat, (I tried their ground beef and boneless ribs). I hated the produce, what little there was. Was nervous about trying their brand for the other stuff. What's your opinion, I keep saying I should find the time to get back there, but if I went after work it's the opposite direction and on the weekends I am no where near there.
HAPPY vALENTINE'S DAY!!
Hope everyone is having a lovely day with their loved ones. My mom got me some chocolates which was totally unexpected. I usually get her some flowers, but she had to work today and I didn't know . :guilty:
Anyhoo, the last 2 days have been chilly (for us Miamians) and I honestly didn't feel like doing anything today. I had some coupons that were expiring today though so I went out for some shopping.
Just watching the Olympics, can't wait for figure skating tonight!!! :yay:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
DM that thingy sounds cool, but I don't think I'd have the patience for all that.

Mo :thumbsup2 on moving to BC. I will one day stay at BC, mark my words.

Kat well stuff is usually more $ in NY. :laughing: Or maybe we got the lunch special :confused3

Hi everyone else!! :wave:

I'm fed up with lazy days :sad2: Ellie is still too sick (cold, runny nose etc) to go out somewhere and the weather is not nice enough to do anything, I'm bored :rotfl2:

That's how I feel with all this stupid snow we have. :rotfl2:

Mitch wanted steak at a reasonable price, so we went to Outback last night. I didn't eat meat, but we had a nice time anyway. :goodvibes Very crowded, but we did call ahead seating, so the wait was minimal.

NASCAR starts today. :rolleyes: Mel, are you excited? :banana: Mitch wanted to go, but with the weather so cold, I'm glad we aren't. :cold: Needless to say, I'll be watching the Olympics. ;)

I haven't been to Outback in ages but with y'all talking about it you are making me hungry for their pork chops and salad.

Are you taking courses for a Medical Assistant? I work for a urology specialists' office, and they said that will no longer hire MAs - just nurses now. I hope that isn't the trend now. :guilty:

Yes, I am going to school for Medical Assisting and I hope that's not the case. LOL Although I've heard the exact opposite...they would rather hire the MA's than nurses because it is less pay. Plus, that some colleges want to do away with the LPN programs. :confused3 I don't think the medical world will ever make up their mind. :rotfl:

I want to go for my nursing degree one day but with two small kids and being a single mom I felt this was the way to go for me right now. :thumbsup2

Thanks to everyone asking about my foot. It's OK. I feel it here and there, but I'm not all limpy or anything. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Glad your feeling better.

Glad jimmy slept in for you guys and your day sounds like ours. How did you like Alvin?

And then I've made David a happy boy, mind out of the gutter please, as I managed to load his favourite scenes from Seabiscuit onto his ipod :thumbsup2

Sorry that you weren't able to go for your walk. DR LOVES Up! and we watch it all the time and yep, it makes me cry each and every time too. LOL

Everything you made sounds so good! Never had gooseberry pie though and it sounds interesting.

:wave2: Hi to the Fockers I missed!

:love: HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY! :love:

Not much went on here today. I can feel a cold coming on...stuffy nose, sore throat, stuffy ears. I hope that's all this is and turns into nothing else. We were supposed to go out to dinner with my dad but he's really not feeling good so we'll wait until later this week to go. Hey, no crowds! :laughing:

Lindsey has school tomorrow but may get let out early due to more snow heading our way. We are supposed to get another 4-6" starting in the afternoon. I am so hating this winter and just want it to be over!

Luckily I don't have classes so DR and I can get a few things done before the snow hits. We are out of milk so I need to pick that and a few other things up at the store and will probably go to Target as well.

Hope everyone has a good night!

Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop in and wish all of my favorite Fockers a very...
Good to see you stranger. :goodvibes

Angela - How long is Mitch home for?
Good question! :rotfl: He doesn't have orders for Kosovo yet which is really a PITA because we can't get on Tricare without them. Our other insurance ends the first of March because, even though he's working some next month, I don't think it will be enough to stay covered with Aetna. I also need his orders to join the Y for free. :thumbsup2

but I'm worth it.
Yes, you are. :goodvibes

I got your valentines card,
It took longer than I thought it would, about 10 days. Not that it matters, I just didn't think it would be that long.

Just wanted to pop in again.
Pop back in when you can. What a cute Valentine's idea. :lovestruc

I'm baking a gooseberry pie for him for V-day.
Is that like blueberry? I wonder if they are at my store.

I can feel a cold coming on...stuffy nose, sore throat, stuffy ears.
I hope you feel better. :hug:

Another exciting day in cold Central Florida. :mad: I need to clean, do laundry, get my nails done, watch the Olympics, read. ;)

It's awesome when a mom of small kids can make the time to advance their selves. :thumbsup2

Today is the start of my kids winter break, so I'll be pulling my hair out and lightly screaming all week. :laughing: It's so hard to work with them here, but I'll do it, just not in my timeframe. Oh well. Have a Marvelous Monday all!

we had an Aldi's open sort of near here. I made it once, I loved the prices of the meat, (I tried their ground beef and boneless ribs). I hated the produce, what little there was. Was nervous about trying their brand for the other stuff.
We have Aldi here, it's German and over here it's deemed as very cheap. We don't have one nearby but we do have a Lidl which is also very cheap, I buy a couple of bits but not much!

It's half term here, the girls have a week off!

Jess and I played golf this morning and to start with it was gorgeous, I only needed my thermals, roll-neck and sweater :rotfl2: Dave and Ells then met us for lunch where we got ripped off for some chicken dippers and fries, lets just say we won't order them again :sad2: I'm off out tonight with my BFF so that should be fun :thumbsup2

winter break so late? I cant imagine it feels like its already spring here!

:sick:I woke up witha sore throat and the yukies, so marcs gone to the store to get some throat medicine for me. Then were off to kohls to get some new towels a gift card I have. yay- exciting i know, but I need to get home fast to start studying for a physics exam tomorrow.

Lately schol stinks. I'm taking a very heavy courseload. Waterfowl, animal behavior, systems and physiology, physics, and organic chemistry. :faint:

I hope you feel better. :hug:

Thanks Angela. :goodvibes

Golf sounds fun and sorry about the rip off.

:wave2: Hi to the Fockers I missed!

**************************************************

It's snowing (nothing new here!) and I have to pick Lindsey up in a few minutes since they are getting out early because of it. We are supposed to get another 4-6" and then snow flurries pretty much all week.

AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

It feels good to get that out. :rotfl: I'm just sick of snow!

Haven't done much this morning besides lay around with DR but it feels good to nothing some days. I wanted to go to the grocery store and a few other places but I'm saying screw it and will go to the little one down the street for necessities and do the big one tomorrow when I don't have the kids with me.

Hope everyone is having a good day! :)

It is so nice to have today off from school! I slept in until 10:30 and it felt great!

The next two weeks are going to be hellish. It is mid-term which means I have two papers due this week and then next week I have a test in each class, one each today. Fun times! :laughing: I'm not really worried though, I know my stuff.

After that we have a week of winter break. :woohoo: My friend is taking a last minute trip to Disney that week so I am "planning" for her. She and her family are newbies and so she said she has 100% faith in me that I will come up with a great plan for them. Really all I am doing is telling them which parks to go to on each day so as to avoid the crowds as best as possible. I will of course make some recommendations on how they should tour each park but I'm not going to give them a regimented schedule as my family has never followed one and we always do fine. :thumbsup2 I just want them to have a magical trip! :goodvibes

Just wanted to pop in again.

Hi Sam! Wow look at all your trips coming up :yay:
Hope you have a good 3 day weekend!

Another exciting day in cold Central Florida. :mad: I need to clean, do laundry, get my nails done, watch the Olympics, read. ;)

Yes the weather is great for the hair, but it makes you not want to leave the bed. I did all of the above yesterday too! ;)

How cold is cold for you exactly? popcorn::

I'm off out tonight with my BFF so that should be fun

Yay! You're having a Girl's Night out :thumbsup2

Quick pop in from work.
Nothing new from me, just realized tomorrow is Mardi Gras. :joker:

Alright, gonna catch some Olympic coverage that just started.

TTFN!
