Well, that's good - but how annoying!

I use all red bows for Maddie and green for Evan. Everyone else's gift get labeled. My kids are nosey and they'd crack them open if I put there names on there.

Hope everyone is well! I hope I'm not coming down with something - I developed a slight headache at work yesterday and it got worse during the night (and then there was the banging in the heat register at 3am, but that's a whole other story ). Still had it when I got up - whole right side of my face hurt. It wasn't quite bad enough to stay home, and after some Excedrin, it's now down to a dull roar. Now, I'm thinking my throat is starting to get sore (but I'm not sure yet - hope not).

Aw, I hope you're not getting sick.

Since I don't want to get dropped off of anyone's Christmas list, I want to get this year's cards out pronto

But I know what you mean. Because we're so far from family and old friends, I have an ENORMOUS card list - over 120 last year - and that was after culling my list. I even cut half of my stepsisters-in-law because they don't send cards.

I was late with mine last year - it was mid-month, easily. Some years I have had them out right after Thanksgiving... Sigh. I still haven't even ordered them, we haven't taken a new picture (though I have two saved with other photos)...

My migraine laid me out for most of the later afternoon, early evening. I had to help with kids' homework - Buzz had to play a math game for his work, which was not what I needed at the time, but it worked out. The headache, finally, has gone, but I still feel Imitrexy.

However, I just watched my beloved Illini make the best comeback in the history of the school and Duke is losing.

We ordered a steam cleaner the other day and it came today, so I did spend a little bit of time playing with that. I think it will be great for under the radiators and in the bathrooms. I even hit some of the couch areas where the dog tends to sit and kind of mess up the microfiber, and that looks good! I'm excited!

I am too physically and mentally exhausted to even try and catch up. 3 more weeks, i keep telling myself. Then i can find a low impact job. I am sooooo tired.

We are putting up the tree over the next few days, and generally just relaxing since it's been heck at work for us both. Hopefully I can catch up and get an update on my TR too. I have pics to share even!

My dad, his wife, 2 brothers, oldest bro's girlfriend (if their together) and me. I'm trying to convice my mom to come with us and even invited Yani and my other friend I went on the Disney cruise with, but it's expensive and don't know if they will be able to swing it.

We're going on the Oasis of the Seas in April to some place in the Caribbean, but honestly I doubt I'm getting off the ship.

Only two and a half weeks left of school before Christmas! That does mean it is crunch time. I have two term papers to write, and a final test in every class. I'm not worried about the tests though. The term papers will be agony to write though.

I applied for the supervisor job and got an e-mail from HR saying that I meet the qualifications and that someone will contact me to set up a meeting. I'm excited and nervous @ the same time. Plus I'd have to see how much they'd pay me, because if I'm going to be doing more work and get paid slightly more than what I make I might as well just stay where I am and less stress & responsibility. Hopefully it won't turn out to be that though.

Anyway, it's late and I need sleep.

It's raining and 55 here - Woody headed out for the bus and said, "It's HUMID!" which is totally true and very odd for NH in December.

I have tennis. Crazy complaint lady is apparently inviting everyone to her house for lunch, and a couple of the others are going. I am claiming other plans for this afternoon - even if the other plans are sitting on the couch DISing.

Truly, though, I just had my computer blip out again, so I started trying to get to Jo's trick of cleaning the fan, but I can't get to the fan at all. I'd have to take the whole back off - there's not a separate compartment - and I don't feel comfortable with that. So, my plans for this afternoon may involve a trip to Best Buy. The only stuff I could reach were the hard drive and some sort of circuitry cards. It is still under Best Buy's warranty, so I'll let them deal with it - IF they can figure it out when it's not happening.

If the headache gets too bad, though, it will wait until tomorrow.

I need to get my tennis stuff together and eat a little breakfast. Have a good morning.

Well today I've got loads to do. The kids have been buggin' to put the tree up, so I'll pull all the boxes today and get that started. I can't put any ornaments on until they're home, though.

The Christmas party was fun but busier than I would have thought for a Tuesday the first part of December. Today we're going to the GF for lunch and to check out the decorations. Jo, I wish you were going to be there too. Tomorrow I think it's the Osborne lights.

It is absolutely pouring here, I just did the Guides run, we share with 2 girls up the road. Well when it's them taking I always make sure the girls are ready by the door, shoes on etc but every week we have to go and knock for them and then they have to get ready Well as it was pouring, honestly our road looks like a river I sat in the car and kept flashing the lights as I could see someone in the kitchen but they never came so Ellie got out and then yep the girls weren't ready Anyway they're bringing home so I don't have to go out again

Work today, but I have to leave early. I have a follow up with the ear doctor for another hearing test. Hearing seems to be fine now so I have a feeling it was all related to the massive sinus infection

Went to 2 supermarkets this morning, 1 of them twice David had seen an offer on beer, 4 bottles of Carlsberg for £1 ($1.50) so he made me get some Whilst there I saw a deal on some biscuits but didn't get them so after I'd done my big shop at the other supermarket I headed back and got them

I'm having my hair cut in about an hour, I'm so bad at getting it done but it desperately needs it and it's my pre-holiday cut

It's been a pretty ho hum day for me so far. I had an 8:30 Chemistry class which I pretty much dozed through, I was so tired! Just could not pay attention. We weren't covering anything new so no big deal.

Time just seems to be passing really slowly today, I think it is because I am so tired. Luckily they cancelled class tomorrow so I have the day off! I don't have to work either! So I am going to take advantage of my free day and finish up my Christmas shopping.

Saturday, Mom and I are headed Stateside to go shopping in Syracuse. Hopefully I don't spend too much money! I am mostly looking forward to getting to eat at Pizzeria Uno! How sad is that?! We don't have it up here so the only time we get to eat there is when we go shopping in Syracuse or in Florida.

Right now I have a 2-hour break between classes and I have no work to do so I am just sitting here in the Student Association trying to kill time.
