Team Focker Watch, Part 12. Have we jumped the shark yet?

I just wanted to say that I have gotten almost no response to the Christmas card thing. I haven't gotten a list together because it doesn't seem like anyone's really intersted. I guess if someone wants to email a list or request them from people, they can take that on. :confused3

We do $1 too. I also do a spin on pixie dust. I do the body glitter. I rub some on the $ and some on their nose or cheek and say that the tooth fairy must have kissed her/him. It's washable, so it doens't matter if it gets onthe sheets.
Awwww sounds very cute, we've run out of baby teeth now :rotfl2:

....why do fattening things have to be so good? :guilty:
It's so not fair is it :sad2::rotfl2: Wow lucky you going on another cruise, who's going, where, when etc :rotfl2:

:hug: My friend is here with her daughters 2 and 4. Not that they are bad, but she's not at disciplined as my sis! :rotfl:Although my sis is a bit anal. ;)
That is a cute age though, enjoy then hand them back :rotfl2:

Really tired. D was restless last night and even though he was just trying to read whilst I fell asleep, he was moving his legs a lot, tugging covers, etc., and I didn't fall asleep until after 1:00. Sigh.
How annoying, for some reason last night David fell asleep first and snored so I kept poking him :rotfl2:

Ugh. My mom (whom I haven't been speaking to) invaded Facebook. :headache: She hasn't been bold enough to ask me or B to be her friend yet, but I wouldn't be surprised if she did ask B eventually. :mad: That will cause even more problems since I have told her that she's not to see my kids right now. We have mutual friends, so she's popping up now with her comments on their stuff. I went in and change both of our settings to no search and only friends. Is there anything else I should do to keep her from seeing our stuff? :confused3

Why would she want to do FB? My Dad has an account but just so he can play games :rotfl2: I think you can block someone so they can't see if you write anywhere!

Rubbish golf again today from me but it was a fun match and in my team was a really shy, timid, nervous lady who isn't very good. I got her laughing though and she said she had fun so that's all that matters :thumbsup2

At best, she's just interested in keeping up with other people who don't live here. At worst, she's trying to see what we're up to even though I've stopped talking to her.

I hope it's the first one :hug:

Right, where is everyone???? I have nothing to do, OK I have tons to do but can't be bothered, for about 30 minutes before I need to take Ellie to ballet so entertain me or I'll have to go and play brick breaker :rotfl2:

Saw the pics on FB it looks great :thumbsup2.

Thanks:goodvibes

I'm excited too, it's beginning to look like a tradition to go to Disney for Christmastime. :santa:

:yay:

Well I've made changes already.

Makes sense!

The fairy brings a dollar to my house, but she also always leaves pixie dust (in the form of star shaped confetti...)

Oh, I like this idea!:thumbsup2

Yes. They were very happy girls!

:thumbsup2

I like this idea too, but I'd be afraid of waking him up!:eek:

At least I don't feel cheap giiving him only a dollar!

Morning All!

Hi Z:goodvibes

hug: My friend is here with her daughters 2 and 4. Not that they are bad, but she's not at disciplined as my sis! :rotfl:Although my sis is a bit anal. ;)

She'll get over that when #2 comes along:lmao:

I'd like to learn chess too. I did order that travel game set for Mitch I mentioned earlier and a book for Reid explaining where Uncle Mooch went. I won't be able to read it to him, but at least my sis and BIL can.

Are you going to stay in FLA while he is away?

So, I'll be in and out. Have a good start to the day!

HAve a good one CE:goodvibes

I think you've done about everything you can. Otherwise if she tries to friend you or B just hit ignore.

I know I have pretty much everyone's addresses from last year, so I was just going to go by that:confused3

Rubbish golf again today from me but it was a fun match and in my team was a really shy, timid, nervous lady who isn't very good. I got her laughing though and she said she had fun so that's all that matters :thumbsup2

Glad you had fun anyway!:goodvibes

Sorry, I am at work!:rolleyes1
=========================

Nothing new and exciting here. I decorated my office, in between doing actual work. Then I made a ton of phone calls, both personal and business. Just another normal day here. Tonight I have a SPring Fair committee meeting at Applebee's. The boys are heading the library after school, so they will get pizza or something for dinner.

Hope everyone is having a great day:goodvibes

Wow...there's a whole lotta reading I have to do. Not sure I'll be able to catch up, but "Hi!" anyway! :lmao:

I'm currently enjoying the peace and quiet. :goodvibes I'm so excited this morning as I was able to change our January ressies from POP to BC! :banana: It's only for 1 night, then we'll switch over to SSR for 2 more nights. But I'm glad we're not at POP. I was already having nightmares about those HUGE icons. :headache:

Heading out to Target and then Kohl's. Time to start getting my stuff together so I can PACK!!! :woohoo:

Have a great day, all! :hippie:

Sorry, I am at work!:rolleyes1
And??????????? :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

OK as you're not going to entertain me I'll tell you about my brat of a daughter who might not make it to 12 :rotfl2: We've been having loads of little problems with Ellie for ages, silly things like talking to us in a bad tone or shouting, having to be nagged like mad to do anything like feeding the rabbits, homework etc. Well the latest one is wearing a coat to school! She has a nice new coat that she chose, it's freezing here at the moment and she keeps leaving it at school :sad2: This morning David hears Jess waking her up then she tells us Ellie has had no breakfast (another current thing) and to top it off not only has she left her new coat at school but also her old one that she'd been using too :headache: It was -2 here this morning and frosty and she has a 5 minute walk to the bus stop where she could wait for 10 minutes just wearing a blouse and sweater :mad: No wonder she got ill last week :headache: Anyway we've cancelled her sleepover on Friday and banned the computer except for homework. Nothing we do seems to sink in though, I know she looks like butter wouldn't melt but ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh :rotfl2:

She's just come home and I've just told her, she's not a happy bunny :rotfl2:

Off on the dancing run, see you later :wave2:

Wow. Mads and Ellie must be twins. I'm having similar problems with Maddie and she's only 8! :faint: I've had to really come down hard on her to the point of tears (her's not mine!). She moody and obnouxious (sp?) and I'm ready to kill her sometimes. :teeth: Can I send her to England? :lmao:

Can I send her to England? :lmao:
Only if I send Ellie to you, I'm sure an 8y/o Maddie would be far easier :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

Jessica's boots came today and she hasn't taken them off yet :rotfl2: She loves them which is fantastic :thumbsup2 Oh and they were last years Christmas present from my Mum it's just taken this long to spend the money :rotfl:

Hello!

Jo - I feel sorry for you, it must be the tween angst years. :sad2:

Dawn - Just block your Mom from your profile. Then she won't be able to see anything you do.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Only two and a half weeks left of school before Christmas! :woohoo: That does mean it is crunch time. I have two term papers to write, and a final test in every class. I'm not worried about the tests though. The term papers will be agony to write though. :rolleyes:
Ugh. My mom (whom I haven't been speaking to) invaded Facebook. Aw, sweetie. :hug:
I'm sorry, I've just not even thought of it yet as we don't have cards done. I do have everyone's address from last year's, but if you could email or PM me your new one, I'd like it. :)
How annoying, for some reason last night David fell asleep first and snored so I kept poking him :rotfl2:
:rotfl:
I got her laughing though and she said she had fun so that's all that matters
Well, that's good!
Right, where is everyone???? I have nothing to do, OK I have tons to do but can't be bothered,
I'm right there with you today. I got ONE of my errands run, otherwise I've napped and played on the computer. Sigh.
Nothing new and exciting here. I decorated my office, in between doing actual work. Then I made a ton of phone calls, both personal and business. Just another normal day here. Tonight I have a SPring Fair committee meeting at Applebee's. The boys are heading the library after school, so they will get pizza or something for dinner.
Hope everyone is having a great day:goodvibes
Sounds like a pretty good day. I have to take the boys to tennis, then I've about decided that we'll drive through dinner and make my Target run then. I hate taking them to Target, though - it's not a quick in-and-out when they're with me. :sad2:
I'm currently enjoying the peace and quiet. :goodvibes I'm so excited this morning as I was able to change our January ressies from POP to BC! It's only for 1 night, then we'll switch over to SSR for 2 more nights.
But did she bring her coats home? popcorn:: :rotfl:
Jessica's boots came today and she hasn't taken them off yet :rotfl2: She loves them which is fantastic :thumbsup2 Oh and they were last years Christmas present from my Mum it's just taken this long to spend the money :rotfl:
I saw her explanation on FB, I was wondering! :lmao:
******************************************************
So, seriously, I'm awful. I fell asleep on the couch after I checked in this morning, then just felt lazy and didn't do anything for a while until I decided I really HAD to go to the grocery, but I'd left it too late to even do Target. :sad2: I don't know what's wrong with me - I mean, yes, I was tired, but really. I suppose part of it was that it was a good free day, and I do enjoy those, but still.
I am going to work out whilst the boys have tennis, so maybe I'm not a total lump.:rolleyes: And I did get a good amount of groceries that will actually make meals, so that's good. ;)
But, I need to go get my workout wear on, so I'll see you later! :wave2:
I hope it's the first one :hug:
Somehow I doubt it. :sad2:
I think you've done about everything you can. Otherwise if she tries to friend you or B just hit ignore.
I know. It's just so hard to do. I don't want to hurt her feelings but she obviously didn't care about that all my life. :guilty: I keep telling myself it's not okay for anyone to treat me the way she has, family or not. :snooty:
Good luck, mommas. Eight was Baylie's WORST year. She drove me NUTS!
B had a melt down this am. It's so rare, but she had cut her own bangs and was upset with how they turned out. Uh, duh? I tried to fix them and I think they look cute, just not how they were after I cut them for her last week. I guess she had a couple of strands that she wanted to trim. :eek:
They were long and swoopy by her cheekbone, but now they are straight across at her eyebrow. I was glad to drop her off today! :rolleyes1
I hate taking them to Target, though - it's not a quick in-and-out when they're with me. :sad2:
Do they get what Jim calls the galloping gimmes when they are there. Luckily Jimmy is pretty good with that, but it does happen sometimes:sad2:
But did she bring her coats home? popcorn:: :rotfl:
Oooh, good question:lmao:
So, seriously, I'm awful. I fell asleep on the couch after I checked in this morning, then just felt lazy and didn't do anything for a while
You must have needed the rest. No need to feel guilty:hug:
+++++++++++
Well, my meeting tonight has been cancelled. THe person running the meeting either has a stomach virus or her entire family has food poisoning, she hasn't figured out which yet. THat give me some free time when I get home since the boys will be at the library. I may make a stop at the $ store, but then again I may just take advantage of being home alone:cloud9:
I dont' know if I'll even get around to cards this year. I was going to take a picture by the tree of the kids, but I haven't. :laughing:
Don't be offended, but I'm not doing picture cards this year. Just don't want the expense at this point. We are really trying to save and pay some things off!
Hey cheeky :rotfl2: Hope the lady and her family get well soon!
I just bought some pins :yay: I got 19 (I was bidding on 20 but lost 1 so I'll have to have 1 and the girls get 9 each :rotfl2:) for about $1.50 each inc postage :thumbsup2
Well, of course Janet. :rolleyes1
I am really glad I have a boy..you all are scaring me:eek:
My boy isn't drama-free. :laughing:
******************************************
Well, I got my shopping done. I needed some jeans, and seriously Kohl's has THE best jeans for my body shape. I refuse to let my crack show and no way am I wearing "mom" jeans. I found the most perfect mid-rise jeans and I'm in heaven! :cloud9:
I'm off to pick up Mads from school and then we've got Brownies tonight. We're touring a food bank and taking in our donations and then that will complete our Feed Your Neighborhood patch requirements. :thumbsup2
Me too. We'll see when she gets home. Her costume came today, so that should help.
On the bright side she won't cut them herself again :rotfl2:
