Been a crazy day.... Dad's having a really bad day today. He started having arrythmia early this morning and lots of anxiety. I arrived at the hospital at 10:30 this morning and he was all agitated because I "took so long to get there". It's been a long day......

Hoping he gets to come home on Tuesday or Wednesday. Friday the kids are off from school, so I have that day to get ready for Maddie's party which is on Saturday. Still have to bake the cupcakes and make the caramel apples.

Whilst I was walking round the shops I came to a conclusion that I really like expensive stuff and I don't want to buy cheap anymore as it's often tat. But I'm also far too tight to buy the expensive stuff so I just don't buy See I am the dream wife


It also made me realise how close Christmas is and that I need to get shopping

Just wanted to let you all know Waldo's doing fine. We spoke with the surgeon and he told us they ended up having to do a quadruple bypass! He told us how lucky Waldo was to have caught it just in time, as he would not have survived a heart attack.

So glad to hear they caught that in time! to you and your family.

Just go off the phone with HP support. My laptop a/c adapter is not working and the part on the laptop where you plug it in is extremely wiggly. I'm worried it's going to get worse and quit working. My laptop has 30 days of warranty left on it. They were actually easy to deal with.

We got to actually spend time with our niece today! KC's brother has been seeing her only in court supervised visits but she called him and asked to see him and since she lives so close to us they came over! She's going to be 9 next week. She is the sweetest kid - we had the best time hanging out with her! I kinda fell in love with her and she fell in love with our kitties. Hopefully we will get to see her more often now.

We had a nice dinner out with Pants tonight. We went to Pizzeria Unos. Then we had dessert at a cupcake shop nearby. I had a cheesecake and it was pretty much unbaked in the middle, and the one the gave me to replace it was too. Weird. I will stick to their cupcakes...or bake my own.

Tomorrow KC & I are having a cheap date day out. We have a 2 for 1 coupon for Ruby Tuesdays and free movie tickets! I'm excited to just spend some quality time out and about with him.

Anyone listen to Pat Benatar?? I am reading her biography and re-listening to her music and really loving it all over again.

Morning All !!!I have been soooo busy with work since I got back from Disney !!!I did start a TR on my first Free trip and am soo excited we have bwen told we gwet to go again next year !!!!We had the best time with our 8 guys !!!They all want Carol and I to be their escorts all the time !!!

Today is the 3 year anniversary of loosing my "mom". It's hard to believe that she's been gone for 3 years. I remember the first year, I was so mad on this day. I'm no longer mad. I just plain miss her. A lot.

Thanks! I mostly enjoyed it. Leo will be a Ghost Rider in the Sky - his take on the cowboys in the Boo to You parade. He wants to add zombie make-up and an all-around un-dead look to last year's cowboy costume. It's pretty much done and looks good! I've been convinced to dress up, too, and am going as Wednesday Addams.

WHEW, what a few days it's been. Saw the Dr. filling in for my usual Dr., who's on maternity leave, and she gave me an Rx that would have resulted in an overdose, had I not done my own research on the topic. Niiiiice. So now, because I have ever so much extra time to fill in my life, I'm looking for a new Dr. and trying to split pills into itty bits to get the right dosage per my pharmacist. Good times.

We saw "Secretariat" yesterday and it was wonderful! Got some school reading done, more or less got a mental outline for my next paper in place, worked on costumes, and made lasagna. Mmmmmm.

Lots to do this week before our Somewhat Scary Halloween Weekend - and tops on that list (well, "top" after the mandatory stuff like work, school and paying bills, lol!), is finishing my TR.

OH! Almost forgot - Leo received an award last week for "Outstanding Work in Class"! You all know how he struggled last year; he couldn't have been more proud of this accomplishment, nor could I.

I have a ninja and Indiana Jones. We were able to pick up stuff for Indy at the resale shop, mostly, and the ninja just involved buying a black gi from the karate studio. Except, he wants a hood/mask deal, and I have to sew that. I have the pattern, and the material, just need to do it.

We had a great weekend - just the right balance of stuff to do and free time - no boredom, but no crazy, either.

D's left this morning for most of the week - not back until Thursday night - and I'm gearing up into hardcore prep mode for Book Fair. It starts right after we're back from St. Thomas, so I'm trying to be really prepared as I'm gone the week leading up to it.

I have a haircut this afternoon. My last one was iffy - cute enough, but hard to manage for my hair skill level - too many layers, I had to be too careful styling it. So, I may wind up with something relatively short for correction. We'll see. I'm always up for trying something new, so I don't mind it going short...

Anyway... That's about it. Love and hugs to everyone who needs them.

It's a good Monday morning here.... Waldo's doing much, much better. He's in good spirits today and looking forward to going home soon. I was so worried he was going to "give up", KWIM?

My poor mom is emotionally exhausted. But I think once he gets home and we're not running back and forth to and from the hospital, she'll be ok.

They were actually easy to deal with.

ALl of our computers prior to what we have now were HP's. WE had to call Tech support once or twice and never had a problem. We would have gone with another HP for our laptop this time, but we got a great deal on the Toshiba!

I had to go in to work today even thought I am supposed to be OFF!!Needed to make final contacts about the Conference in Albany Thursday thru Saturday !!!12 consumers are going !!!!I have to Mangers going with me soooo hopefully it will all be fine !!!I really wish Carol was coming .. we make such a GREAT team !!! Also had to do a whole bunch of scheduling as we need extra staff cuz one of the consulers is temporarily NUTS!!!!!! Then tomorrrow I have to do allowances otrthere will be a RIOT!!!!! I am definately looking for a more relaxed November !!!!!I think next week I only need to work about 20 hours to make my full 80 !!! I intend to use the days OFF too !!!

Hey all! Thought I checked in yesterday IT was busier than I thought! I am trying to catch up on being out for two weeks. I was all excited that my desk was not bad when I came in on Monday, but then yesterday all my mail showed up, etc

Then we are planning a Scout Trip to the National Liberty Museum so I have been working on that and other scout stuff at night.

Tonight is School Night at McDonald's. Jimmy is excited because he gets to wear his Halloween Costume.

Tomorrow is my dinner with Mo

And the rest of the week is just as crazy. Scout/Pack Meeting Friday Night. Pumpkin Carving on Saturday and then Soccer and Halloween on SUnday. Of course it's been mid-70's all week, Halloween the high is going to be 59

I am sure I will check in again later. I got to work early so I could get some stuff done before the phone starts ring....too late

More power to ya for the sewing, I have a sewing machine I have never used and recently discovered KC likes to sew!? So now I'm sending all things sewing to him!

Playing catch up today with emails and blogging and getting out the winter clothes. This weird weather isn't making me wanna do that much tho.

So I need a bit of advice.....

I told the story about my godmother telling me my father is not who i thought he was, right? Now she is telling me she had the name wrong and gave me a new one. I have already did a bit of looking for the man who's name is on my birth certificate, but I am not exactly sure how I feel about the whole thing so I have not done anything but get possible info, yet. I just really have no idea how to proceed with my godmother or with finding my father. I have tried asking her outright for proof and got nothing concrete and i just don't know how to proceed. A large part of me wants to just tell her to flip off.... any suggestions?????
