Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

More power to ya for the sewing, I have a sewing machine I have never used and recently discovered KC likes to sew!? So now I'm sending all things sewing to him!

I got the machine for Christmas last year, but I tend toward the "straight hem" side of sewing. This was, you know, a pattern and matching and so on! Whoa!

I did it, though. ::yes::

A large part of me wants to just tell her to flip off.... any suggestions?????

I guess the only thing I could say is to try to first figure out "What do you really WANT to know?" Not an easy question to answer. But, if you decide that it's not that important to you, you can ignore her. If you need to do a major quest for the answers, well, then maybe you need to hear and then confirm or eliminate all her theories. I'm sorry.

THis is great advice right here Kat ::yes::

Morning all. Very excited. Having dinner with Mo tongiht:cool1: but of course I forgot to being the camera:rolleyes:. Luckily the phone has one so hopefully we can at least get one with that! Still trying to decide where to go. Main Street, South Street, or King of Prussia (which has a Disney Store;)).

I need some Focker advice from those who have the Wii. We are getting one for Jimmy for Christmas. Yes we broke down becasue the Occupational Therapist recommended it - supposed to be good for hand eye coordination, etc:confused3 ANyway, Jim is going tomorrow to put one on layaway (we trying to do Christmas all cash this year). This is what we get....

Wii Console, Wii REmote with Motion Plus, Nunchuk, Wii SPorts Resort and Original Wii Sports. What else do I need? Does it come with all the cables, etc to hook it up? Do I need to buy extra controllers? HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It comes with the cables you need, and it's a pretty easy set up. You'll need at least one more remote and nunchuck, or Jimmy will have to play on his own all the time. We have four - and do occasionally all play together. :goodvibes

He likes Legos, no? The Lego games are fantastic - fun and I think hysterically funny, challenging enough to make it interesting, but not so bad that you can't figure out what to do. :)

Have fun - I love the Wii my own self. ;)

*******************************************************
I had my eye check up today. Eyes no worse, but I did order new glasses. The prescription hasn't changed now for a couple of years running (these are just reading glasses) but I have insurance, and I'm bored with my current frames. Plus, since they've not changed, I can then just keep a spare pair. ::yes::

Other than that, I don't have a lot going on today. The boys will go to karate tonight, because they are going to a party tomorrow night with a friend. D gets home sometime later this evening. I have chicken & noodles in the crock pot - woohoo!

Have a good one!

Thanks! This info is a big help! He loves Legos and I was looking at those games...there are so many he would probably like. Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Batman....:faint:

THat's great. I always like to have a spare pair too, unfortunately, my script always seems to change:sad2:

Have a good one!

You too:goodvibes

Kat - Saw on FB that the interview went well:thumbsup2

I am bored, bored, bored.......My printer isn't working and I can't do any of my work with out it. The MIS people sadi they would be here this afternoon, or maybe tomorrow:confused3

Everything CE said! :thumbsup2 I'm modern video game incompetent; really, I was lost after Atari ran its course. And I love the Lego Wii games! We have Indiana Jones and Harry Potter. I love that they're not mindless; you have to really think problems out and do a lot of testing to move from scene to scene - that's all Leos' area; I just do as I'm told, lol! And, of course, you know how I feel about my Sadistic Wii trainer on Wii Active.

Hi all! Just breezing through... another busy week here! There's so much going on, and so little time to talk about it. I'll try to sum up:

School's still rolling along; it's taking up most of my non-work/non-Leo time, but isn't completely overwhelming.

I'm looking into a charter school for Leo next year that sounds like it would be a great fit for him. Touring it next week to get a better feel, then if we like it, his name will go into a lottery for open spaces. Wish us luck!

I've had lots of new projects at work - which is making me very happy!

Off to WDW this weekend. Highlights to include some F&W-ing, MNSSHP, and possibly Leo's first trip on Space Mtn. We'll see. ;)

Hope all is well around here. Thinking of you guys! :grouphug:

Thank you much. I def have some deciding to do over the next few days of what the heck I wanna do.

Just an FYI , since Jim is pretty PC savvy- there is a way to "hack" (for lack of a better word) the Wii using just an external flash drive. it doesn't effect game play at all with games you already have. Ours is like that and it gave us the opportunity to try a bunch of games we wouldn't have before.

And I am def with everyone for the Lego games- great fun!

Had interview #2 this morning on Staten Island (2 bus comute  ). After waiting about an hour after the time of the interview I got to go first and after only a few minutes the woman asked if i'd like a supervisory position instead of cashier!? Of course I said YES! So tomorrow I go to the actual store for my 3rd interview. I'm pretty much thinking I'm all good for getting it or they wouldn't have put me through again.

The cats are testing me today. They have knocked over, broken, & jumped on EVERYTHING.

Anyone have D23? I am seriously thinking about it.....

Hi everyone. I have been reading but not posting, I know BAD me!!

Kat, we just got D23, I can't really tell you anything about it yet since we haven't gotten our paperwork. I do know it does give you access to events in different parts of the country.

We were lucky enough to get 2 of the 200 Magic and Merriment event tickets at WDW in December. This has set off a chain reaction in Bill. Now he wants to try for the Destination D at WDW in May and maybe the D23 Expo in Anaheim in August, HELP ME :scared1:!!!

We have thought about getting a wii but don't know if Bill could really do many of the games with his disability, but it is tempting. I don't know when we would buy it because the Magic and Merriment tickets is our Christmas present to each other :cloud9:.

You just don't love us anymore:sad1:;)
Sorry you're stuck with me :p :rotfl2:

I have you on my to do list to email about December!:goodvibes
:thumbsup2

I also have to get the house ready for the grandmas, pack, etc.
They coming? You going?

yea I was going to ask- are we still on for Dec?! I have you in my calendar already!
My flights are booked but I'm still hazy on a day I'll be free, will let you know when I do :thumbsup2 Sorry about the Dad thing

Also think about the remote charger, we have one and it has saved us buying batteries :thumbsup2

Have a great time!

Dad is here for a couple of days, he caddied for Ellie for 9 holes today, Jess and I played too but Jess got snotty as Ellie played well :headache: Kids huh!!!!

Oh and you all probably saw my win on FB :yay:

Hello Focker Friends!

Just a note to let you know that Doogles and I made it back safe and sound last night. We didn't get back until after 8PM.

The trip was wonderful. Met lots of great people. I didn't know that so many were on fall break so it was busier than I had expected. That made it a challenge with the scooter.

When we got back last night I had to spend about 2 hours cleaning up the basement. The cats found a way through to my nice bedroom and messed it up pretty good. Needless to say they are back out in the pole barn. :sad2:

I'll be back when things are back to normal. I'm trying to get the laundry all caught up.

I hope all is well with everyone!

Later!!!

Hi all.

Got home late tuesday andhad a great trip. Met Krystle and Doug and we had a great time. Over all the trip was really a lot of fun. Traveling around with the scooter can be trying. I got my foot caught in a something and managed to twist my knee really badly because I couldn't stop fast enough. That is normal for me. Crowds weren't that bad, worse some days than others but manageable. I did complain to a CM once because of line jumpers. They parked their wheelchair and then ran in front of me in a rather long line. Of course they used the No Habla line but the CM made them get to the back. I normally don't care but they did the same thing to me in 2 other lines. I think they were stalking me. :rotfl2:

Well I'm off to bed as I had the kids today and they wore me out. Chat later.

Hi Everyone!

I've been reading, but so swamped that I haven't posted much. Anywhere.

V- Charter schools are really good for some kids. Does this one specialize in something? I'm seriously sad that we miss you by a week. Does Leo have any breaks Nov. 4-14 that you could come and spend the day?

Jo- Have fun with your dad there and congrats on your big Irish win! :thumbsup2

Kat- Good luck with the job. I agree with CE too.

Janet- How was the dinner with Mo? I am totally addicted to Super Mario Bros. I'm with Jo on adding a charger. You can often find them with 2 additional remotes for a great price.

K- I'm glad you had a great trip!

CE- I'm impressed that you can sew anything. :)

-------------------------------------------------

Vent of the day- Anyone see my FB status?

I drive my kids to and from school... for a reason.

Today on Tink's bus a little girl lifted her shirt several times to show the boys, then she stuck her hand down her pants several more times and tride to wipe her hand on a another child, who is in Tink's class. Lastly she thought it would be a great idea to pull her pants down and show herself.

Just yuck.

This is a "short" Kindergarten bus.

Tink was mortified.

I think I might be more...

I think I'll keep her off that bus until after our trip.

Other news. DH missed his flight from Arkansas. I'm alone for another night. I have 2 Halloween parties to finish activities for and I am off to bed!

I'm modern video game incompetent; really, I was lost after Atari ran its course.

I miss Donkey Kong;)

OK, so IJ seems to be the way to go to start. Jimmy hasn't gotten into HP yet.

And, of course, you know how I feel about my Sadistic Wii trainer on Wii Active.

:lmao:

School's still rolling along; it's taking up most of my non-work/non-Leo time, but isn't completely overwhelming.

Happy Friday everyone! Dinner with Mo last night was great. We wound up going to the King of Prussia Mall and having dinner at LEgal Seafoods. Awesome. It was so much catching up with Mo. And she is definitely in for the NYC Meet, and she is goiing to bring Murph too ::yes:::yay:

After dinner we walked the mall a bit and wound up in the Disney Store. Mo was good and didn't buy anything. I bought Jimmy a puffle (Club Penquin thing) and a book. I also did some recon for Black Friday:thumbsup2

After that I took her back to her hotel and we said our goodbyes:sad2: She has one last day of class today and then is heading back home this afternoon.

TOday I am leaving work early so I can go to Jimmy's school for the Halloween Parade/Party. Tonight is the Pack Meeting for Scouts. TOmorrow is pumpkin carving, and then Sunday is Halloween. Um, don't know when I will sleep:confused3

Hope you all have a great day, a great weekend, and

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

Well David and Jess beat Dad and I but we put up a good fight :rotfl2: We had fun though and Ellie was so good, she walked the whole 18 holes so was rewarded with cheesy chips :thumbsup2

Totally forgot to say my cousins wife had their first baby today and after tons and tons of boys we finally have another baby girl, Jess is so excited! She was 7lb7 and is called Amelie :goodvibes
