Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Hope you're feeling better!!!!!

Yep I need to do it just to know. I have made it all this time with no dad, i'm fine with that. I just want to know. I am really not putting any stock into what my godmother says, she is def a little bit off her rocker.

At least it's just allergies!!

OOOO what show?!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Afternoon all.
KC is still sleeping and I'm going to let him sleep until he wants to wake up. I however, am starting to starve and am thinking of calling for some Chinese food lunch specials. NOTHING planned today, just relaxing, catching up on the DVR and watching some movies. Tomorrow we can clean and whatever. :lmao:
I am thinking of planning a DIS meet in NYC this summer sometime, who would be interested????
Looking for Billy Haines-it's been getting horrible reviews, though.
Oh and have you all heard about the huge cloud of ash over the UK today thanks to a volcano exploding in Iceland? It has grounded all planes for the whole day and apparently the sunset will be purple tonight :confused: Nothing is making it to earth and you can't even see it!!!
Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad.
Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad.
It's actually on the theatermania list, it wasn't one of the ones that looked to interesting lol. We are going to see Promises, Promises next week and "666" tomorrow.
I skimmed.
T, :hug:
V & Janet, sorry about the allergies.
Jo, sorry about the volcano. :rotfl:
Lessa, sorry about the test. I'm sure you'll be fine. Hope you feel better.
Kristel, hope Doug's OK. :hug:
Hi, everyone! Glad to see Miz around. ;)
**********************************************************
So, after a $2300 cash/check day, with $800 in credit card sales, I think we may have beaten our fall sales, which NEVER happens in spring. WOOHOO! :banana: We are just open for a half day tomorrow, then packing it up and saying bye. It's been a long week in a way, but it's SUCH a breeze compared to November that I almost can't believe tomorrow's Friday. :goodvibes
So, yeah, I may return to the land of the living here soon.
D & I have a luau benefit with our good friends tomorrow night. My tennis/twin mom friend had tickets as a favor to another friend, and she just wanted to have someone fun to go with. I have no idea what the benefit is for, or anything, but it sounds like a stupid fun way to relax after this week. :)
Oops, dinner is ready. I had bought salmon to try a new recipe last night, but we ended up going to Lowe's to get the floor tiles and out to eat. D made the boys some salmon earlier, but I really still wanted to try this. Bye!
No I hadn't heard but a purple sunset sounds cool take pix Jo!!!
Well Judy's car still is not fixed !!! They did give her a loaner thiugh which helps as sharing today was a PAIN!!!!!!:scared1: I can use the house van but my staff had it for appointments most of the day and I had to do banking and a Case review so Judy had to pick me up and I took her home and then I had to take her to get the loaner !!:headache:
The girls have interviews tomorrow for summer jobs !!! One is for day camps and they have like 600 applicants and only 100 funded jobs :scared1: The other is for a local amusement park , which do ya think they want!!!!:rotfl2::rotfl2: Also I have applications coming for the hospital as paid escorts or dietary aides !!! This would be year round and is the one I hope they get!!! So wish them iuck on all!!!!!!:worship::worship:
Hey all! I'm impatiently waiting for the work day to be over so I can go home and set up my new Droid Eris. And, I'm going to saturday to NYC because I guy I went to high school with is an an off-broadway show. :cool1:
Drois Eris????:confused3
He is really good at soccer (Started playing at 4), but he decided it's boring.
Jimmy is the opposite loves soccer, but isn't too keen on baseball. I think he is only playing becasue his friends are. If it was more the $30 he wouldn't be playing;)
Flonase is a staple in our house.
It seemd to really help last night. His poor nose is all red from all the nose blowing:sad2:
Good morning all. Terrible morning here. My stomach is not ccoperating this morning:sick: IT's bad enough that I called out of work. Hopefully everythign will pass ( sorry TMI) by the time cub scouts comes around tonight.
Jimmy headed back to school today. The flonase seems to be helping:thumbsup2 Jim was supposed to have practice today, but it is going to rain so that will probably be cancelled.
Tomorrow Jim's Aunt (the nun;)) is driving down from North Jersey to go to the a birthday party. She doesn't like to drive in Center City though, so she is going to come here and we will drive her to the party.
Nothing else much planned. Hope you all have a good day. Since I am home I will be checking in. TTFN:grouphug:
Janet--are you feeling any better??
Jo--can you see the sky? Take some pics! It looked horrible on the news. Is it causing breathing problems or anything?
Oh--and Jo---AERO clothes are not for women---trust me on this---even my Cs can't get in them---so I'm sure your EEEs can't! ;)
Jo, sorry about the volcano. :rotfl:
Hey it's not funny :rotfl2:
We can't see anything weird, the sky is clear and blue at the moment :confused: But everyone seems to be sniffing and sneezing more than normal!
Hey they got in the top and most men would have loved me in it but it was the tummy area that did not look nice :eek: :rotfl2:
Jess and I played golf today and David caddied for her, she did really great and played way under her handicap :thumbsup2 I did awesome, yep I'm big headed and D and Jess told me so :rotfl2: I just missed my eagle on the first (3 on a par 5) but did get my birdie (1 under par) I then had 3 more birdies which is the most I've ever done, stupidly though I had 2 double bogies (2 over par) so did 9 holes in 1 over par when I'm meant to do 5 over :woohoo: Jess and I are playing in her first real comp on Sunday, it's the Generation Trophy so you have to play with another member of your family who is of a different generation, it's quite a fun comp as some people who play don't really play IYKWIM so fingers crossed :thumbsup2
Janet--are you feeling any better??
::yes:: Everything comes to pass as they say;)
Hope you're feeling better Janet :hug:
Feeling much better:banana: Bored out of my mind now. Don't really want to start anything, since when Jim comes home we will be going to pick up Jimmy, grab some dinner, and then head to scouts.
Hey all. Just a quick hi from me :wave: We are just waiting for Jim'y aunt to arrive and then we are headed in to Center City to drop her at a birthday party. Then we are going to wander around the historic district and take some Flat Stanley pics for JenV's DS.
It's nice and sunny, but a bit windy. Should still be a nice day.
Chat with you all later
:hug:
Beautiful day again here today, the airports are still shut though and there is chaos at all the ports etc. A DIS friend was meant to fly home from MCO a few days ago and has been told she can get a flight on the 28th :faint: So instead they're driving to Atlanta where they can fly next Saturday :faint: Lots of the schools will be in trouble tomorrow when they reopen after the Easter holidays as many teachers will be stranded abroad :eek:
Anyway where is everyone?
Hey!
Jo, yeah, it's turning out not so funny. :sad2: D nearly had to go to Portugal last night to pick up a crew and passenger that they allowed to go to Venice for some reason. They would have had to leave the plane there. But, I guess they got out before Italy closed up. My friend with whom we went to the benefit last night has a brother who was supposed to be going to London and Paris for the April break. Now, not so much... Massachusett's (where they are) spring break is this week, where ours is next week.
Janet, glad you're feeling better! Rosie, good luck to the girls.
*****************************************************
So...
We had a really good time last night, but having not eaten lunch nor dinner, then going to a party at a bar... They had a few hot appetizers, but nothing much, and I ate some cheese and crackers, but I was celebrating the end of book fair, and... Well, I had fun. :upsidedow :rotfl: My friend assures me I wasn't embarrassing, so that's good. :rotfl2:
They had a silent auction, and D also having had some drinks, had us bid on several things, which we won. :rolleyes1 I got a Kenneth Cole watch for $40, and we got a cheese board/knife made of glass that one of my tennis teammates had made, plus some theatre tickets with a steak house gift cert. It was all for a good cause, but it was not a cheap night. :lmao: I do think we got deals, though, so it's fine.
We've been very lazy today. D can't figure out what to do next for the bathroom, and he's leaving tomorrow for a whole week. Woody played outside for bit with our neighbor, but he had been complaining of being cold all morning, and he finally came in and said, "Mommy, I feel hot." He had an ear temp of 103.6. :scared:
Because D's not home again until 2 days before their birthday, he took Buzz out to Toys R Us to get some ideas, which I'll have to do this week. The week, which I haven't been thinking about with my book fair stress going on, is going to be insane, yet again. I have a tennis match on Tuesday and kind of forgot that D's mom is coming in from Thursday to Sunday. :eek: D won't be here at all whilst she's here, which stinks, and, of course, we have just the one working bathroom and my house is a total disaster, since I was at school all week. :headache:
D's picking up pizza and sandwiches, and we'll do a movie. Poor Woody is trying to say he doesn't feel bad, but he's pretty much been on the couch with a blanket since he came in.
And, he just pulled in, so I'd best get our coffee table cleared so the boys can eat and see the movie. Have a great night, everyone! :grouphug:
When does he start the new job?
Monday!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hello lovelies!

How is everyone?

Not much going on here, just had a nice date night last night. We wen to the city and saw our first off Broadway show called , 666. it was interesting, but def worth the mere $9 we paid for the tickets. Then we went out to one of our fav restaurants in the city, has an awesome meal an came home. Oh and we got soaked to the bone walking (with an umbrella we bought on the street) from the theater to dinner.

Today we relaxed, KC worked, I watched TV and napped. This evening we cleaned up some. Tonight we are going to prob game all night. KC's last day of work is tomorrow!!! Monday he starts his new job and I bake his birthday cake!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Well the girls didn't get the job at the Amusment park, still no word on the summer camps though and there is still the Hospital !! They seem okay about it but Judy is peeved !!!

Hey all. Busy yesterday and today. Yesterday Jim's aunt came down from North Jersey for a birthday party that was in Center City and she doesn't like to drive there. She came to our house and then we took her to the party and then trolled around the city for a bit. The library was having their annual fair, so we headed over there. Jimmy was amazed at the size of the main library, the children's library there is the size of our local branch:lmao:. It was pretty cool. Several authors there doing talks and book signings. THe Berenstain Bears were also their, but Jimmy was in a mood and didn't want his picture taken:sad2:

We bought him sme books. He loves those Mr. Men/Little Miss books and they had several that we don't already have so he go those and a couple of other things. There is also a Friends of the libary ued books store rightnear buy. All proceeds benefit the library. I got 5 books for $1.00. Can't beat that with a stick:thumbsup2 After that we had some lunch at a pizza place near where I work and then to the scout shop to pick up a few things. We also rode around taking pictures of Flat Stanley for Jen V's DS's project.

Today is grocery shopping, laundry and Jim is mowing the lawn. We are hoping to get our veggie garden planted the week after next so that has to be weeded, etc. We are grilling for dinner tonight.

Hope everyone is having a nice weekend:goodvibes

Hi Fockers!

Hope all is well!

Can you believe this Volcano!

My brother was supposed to go to Germay for work, not anymore.

I feel so bad for those affected, either stuck or canceled vacation plans.

So speaking of traveling, I am 32 days and counting to my Italy trip. I'm ready to go now.

I do have a Bing alert too for Orlando, I would love to sneak off for a weekend and maybe just hang the resort, little park time. Work is just overwhelming and I keep getting asked to do special projects. Don't get me wrong, it's great to be asked but just adds to the work load that was already unmanageable. But I'm lucky to have the job I have and they are projecting 20% growth for my division for the next few years. Now let's grow the staff by 25% and we will be all set:sad2:

So Murph and I were chatting and it looks like I will be taking her to WDW for Mother's day next year (also taking my youngest niece in August with a DCL cruise). I like to stay in 1 bedrooms when not solo. Looking at my DVC point s and um, I would be a tad short, ok more than a tad.

I started looking into a cash reservation for my September trip, but no AP rates etc. I looked at the Swolphin and you know what they look pretty good. I got a great rate at the Swan ($141). I loooove the Epcot resorts and for that price you can't beat it, the rooms look nice. Why have I never paid any attention to the Swolphin before???

I still have the reservation at BCV, but am pretty sure I am sticking with the Swan. I'm pretty excited about it, something new. I will miss the kitchenette, but I think I will survive.(they have fridges)

So that's what's up with me!

Later!

My girlfriend and her family stayed there too years ago (not sure which side) but they reallyliked it. If you aren't going to use EMH or ME, you can get some great deals!:thumbsup2

So that's what's up with me!

How is Rocky????

And come around more often please:flower3:
