Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

The dance recital was nice and my granddaughter did really well. Her father didn't get to see it though. He went to the auditorium and got mad that we left him alone while we got Crystal ready. He said he was having a panic attack and that is a possibility but really, he had to leave. I know he has quit smoking but it's really time for him to put on his big boy pants and act like a grown up. My daughter was beyond angry.

Is this the same one who banned youf rom feeding the kids? :confused3:eek:

When she suggested they give him their numbers they were mortified

:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Sounds fun and hope Jim enjoys a day of peace tomorrow :rotfl2:[/QUOTE}

Nope, I left him a list of things to do:lmao:

Had a great day of golf today, David and I played with our friends and we threw balls up to see who played with who and it ended up being girls v boys. My partner couldn't hit a ball to save her life for the first about 14 holes but we managed to half the game even with David playing 6 under par :faint: We had lots of fun too and took the mickey out of each other all the way around :thumbsup2

Wow! WTG David:thumbsup2

Morning! :wave: Popping in quick to see what's new... nothing to report here. Except this: Leo's home sick. Yes, a week out from our trip. Isn't it always the way with us?! :rolleyes: Just a cold, I think, so hopefully he'll get it over with quickly and I won't get it.

TTYL!

Is this the same one who banned youf rom feeding the kids? :confused3:eek:

The very same one. :sad2: I don't know what my daughter sees in him. The only good thing he's done is given me 3 terrific grandkids.

++++++++

Morning all. It is another wonderful HOT day here. I have decided to take the kids to the swim club. I doubt I'll get in the water though. I don't like June pool water, I wait for July water. :lmao: Really I find the water chilly but it has been so hot here lately I may give it a try if the baby will cooperate and my mom shows up. I cannot deal with Mikey and the baby at once. He clings to my neck screaming while I walk around. We have a great "baby" pool there that I sit by while they play. The 2 older ones are already in their suits and we don't leave for another hour. I think they may be a little excited. This will be our summer routine. It gets them out, I get some sun and they have friends there. :banana:

My daughter has to work extra shifts for the next few weeks. I am not happy because while she makes more money I get the kids longer and no money. He quit smoking so do you think they could give me a few dollars a week. :rolleyes1 I don't really want to get paid for me but for the money I put out for the kids. While we are at the pool I buy their snacks and drinks. I think I am putting my foot down this year and telling her that she will have to start giving me some money towards it.

Oh well I am off to mark all of the pool toys so they don't "walk away". Have a good day all and try to stay cool.

Hi everyone:goodvibes Hoipe you are all having a great Tuesday. Low key day here, not much going on. Work for me, camp for Jimmy, and a honey do list for Jim;)

Last night when I got home from work JIm had dinner ready for me and presents and an ice cream cake:thumbsup2 Jimmy got me a new plant stand for my side yard and Jim gave me $$ that I will use when my mom and I hit the casino when she is home.

Did mention that my parents were coming home? They will be here next Thursday until July 11th:thumbsup2

That's it from me. Hope you all have a great day:goodvibes:hug:

Nope, they insist on staying at a hotel. But in a way I don't blame them. You still want your privacy even when you are on vacation

They're crossed:goodvibes

I feel like I've spent two weeks being busy doing nothing! My sister had the baby, and I'm running. :goodvibes Ridley is so precious though, and Reid had a big time at his 3rd birthday party. The visit with my family was so much better than last time. I don't know if it was them, me, medication or a combination of all, but I wasn't annoyed at all. Maybe I'm channeling LL's kinder, gentler me. ;) :rotfl: They left Saturday, and my mother came back yesterday. She's here "for the duration", whatever that means. :confused3

Mitch has been able to call most days which nice, and he's keeping busy which is good for him too. I've been trying to send him little things in the mail along with pictures of Reid and Ridley.

Ridley is adorable! I can't believe Reid is 3 already. It seems like he was just born. How does he feel about his new baby brother?

Duration = As long as Mitch is gone:eek::hug:

Glad you are able to talk to Mitch alot. I am sure it helps:hug:

Hi, guys... :)

I've been reading along again, but a busy few days.

Yesterday I played tennis at 9:00 for an hour and a half, then ran to the store and then home. D brought the kids to the gym, where he didn't think they'd pass the "swim test" to be able to swim alone (now that they're 8, they don't need a parent at the pool if they pass the test. This is good if I want to play tennis this summer - they can be at the pool whilst I'm on the court. :thumbsup2) So, they played on the playgrounds at the gym whilst D & I did a class from 12-1:30. We then ran up to the lake, swam, and had dinner, then took a lovely slow sunset cruise. Got home pretty late.

This morning was a playdate from 9-12 (where I sat with the mom, whom I love) and then we decided to try the swim test whilst D worked on the bathroom. They passed, first try, so that's awesome! :banana: D had said he'd go to the office, but decided it was "too nice" so stayed here and did bathroom work instead. Which would have been fine except that I planned on him being home TOMORROW and had made tennis plans. Now, at least, if he goes to the office, the boys can come with me and swim. :thumbsup2

Then, I took the boys to karate and grilled chicken for dinner. D is actually taping and mudding the drywall as I type. WOOHOO! I have all the walls in the bathroom, and once this dries, painting can commence. Then floor, then toilet - maybe even before the next rounds of company come! :cool1:

Taz - Hope you had a nice day at the pool. :hug:

Jo - fingers crossed for a win!

Janet - sounds like a nice b-day, so glad. :hug:

Angela - woohooty for no family drama! :hug: What a triumph! :goodvibes :rotfl:

Rosie - :scared1: about Kyle. :rotfl2:

Um... Did I forget anyone? Hi, T! Where's TE?

Oh, Mo, more great pics! :)

*****
Tomorrow I have the tennis class I agreed to when I thought D would be home, but it's not until noon. Buzz got invited to a "birthday outing" on Thursday to the Lego store and Rainforest Cafe down near D's work, so we have to find a present for that. Our friend who pilots for a Nascar team is in town for the race this weekend, or will be Friday & Sat., and then the club has its real, USTA-sanctioned, semi-pro tournament this weekend. Tara's husband, who's a financial advisor, is sponsoring it, so she and her girls will be around a lot. D & I have agreed to be court sweepers for a bit on Saturday :rotfl: and then Tara & her DH got a lot of free gift cert $$ to spend at the club for being sponsors, so we'll likely end up there in the evening as well. :faint:

I thought this was supposed to be relaxing, with no school. ;)

I'll read as I can, but may not be around much. Have a great night, and I'll "talk" to you soon. :grouphug:

Um. Legos???

Does that mean you will be the ones running onto the court to grab the stray balls? Oh, that just didn't come out right did it:rotfl2:

I thought this was supposed to be relaxing, with no school. ;)

Really. You need to take a break!

Evening all.

I had a great time at the pool. It is going to be a fun summer. Crystal has made more friends and is able to swim in the "big" pool. Mikey was so excited that I found the pool. He ran right to the umbrella we used last year and was ready to go in before I even got there. He proceeded to dump all of the toys in the pool and was very content. He did want to go in the big pool and I was shocked by that. Last year he screamed hysterically when we got near it. My mom took him in and she even has him kicking and trying to swim a little. The baby was another story. She wanted to go in the pool with the other 2 so I went in. She screamed so we went back to the baby pool. She wouldn't go in there either. She enjoyed playing at the edge of it but wasn't going in either pool. Of course she decided to drink water from a puddle like the cat. :confused3 It is going to be a long summer. Mikey has already had his first visit to the aid station as he skinned both knees. The kids had fun so we will all survive. I don't think I will get to read much though.

On a positive note I did talk to my daughter about buying snacks for the kids. It gets really expensive buying from the snack bar everyday. She went out straight away and bought them juices and animal crackers that I can bag up. I am glad that she is taking some responsibility towards that.

HAve a good night everyone.

You meanie you :rotfl2:

Oh, duh. I think they're in Germany now, though. ;)

Um. Legos???

I thought about that, but it sounds like he's getting a lot. ;)

Does that mean you will be the ones running onto the court to grab the stray balls? Oh, that just didn't come out right did it:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: No, our outdoor courts are clay, so we'll have to sweep between 2nd & 3rd set or between matches. ;)

August 2013 ::yes::

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Morning:goodvibes Jimmy is off at camp and having a ball. I am at work. Jim is hiking in the woods. His worshop for school started today. Yeah, it's going up to 98 and he is going to be traipsing around outside :scared:

Hopefully all the computer programs will continue to work today and I can get some more work done.

Not much else on the agenda. I'll probably be back later. Happy Wednesday all:hug:

:hug: I know. I asked Buzz the other day what he wanted to do for the summer. He said, "I don't think, but can we go to Disney?" :(

Have a good one! (How is it Wednesday already???)

********************************************************
I need to go walk the dog, but wanted to check in. :) It's actually a relatively slow day for us - just the tennis class for me and free time at the club for the boys, then we have to run to Target for the b-day present. I had thought we'd go to karate this morning in case Buzz isn't back from the b-day thing for tomorrow afternoon, but he's not starting the morning classes until after he goes on vacation (which, of course, is right BEFORE we go to my class reunion in IL, so the boys will effectively miss 2 weeks in July. :rolleyes:) so that was out.

I'm sure I'll be back. D's going to work, and then he's probably not coming home but going right up to the boat to put the carpet back in (it snaps in and out, and we had taken it out to be cleaned last summer right before the windshield breakage issue, and it's not gone back in since... Now that the window is fixed, and we're having family, it's time.) and also clean the boat up some. :thumbsup2 Tomorrow's supposed to be thunderstormy, so...

OK, poor dog. I'll talk to you later! :grouphug:

Good Morning all !!
No I didn't know Leo had another name !!:confused3
Today we have to go to a Wake of a friend of Judy's who OD'd over the weekend !!:sad2: She wants my support, the kids are going too as they were all very fond of him!!:sad2:

I hope to have [pix loaded soon if Phil gets a move on!!:rotfl2:They will be of Lake George and the Girls Moving up(Graduation ) Next time I will have Phil show me how to do it so I can get them loaded myself !!:thumbsup2
Have a great day ya'll:)

Hopefully it will work out and you can go. I'll be there next August if it all goes as planned.

Morning:goodvibes Jimmy is off at camp and having a ball. I am at work. Jim is hiking in the woods.

I'm glad Jimmy is enjoying camp. I hope Jime has plenty to drink with him while traipsing around in the woods.

So sorry.:hug: I have been to a few of these over the years with my DD. The worst was her BFF's brother who died 3 days before Christmas and 3 weeks before his DD was born.

+++++++++++++++++++

Morning everyone. It is my quiet day, no kids and no drs. :yay: I have baseball tonight with my grandson and already have 3 bottles of gatorade in the fridge for him. His team came in 3rd place and made the playoffs. We are playing the same team they played last week and beat by 8 runs so I'm hoping it goes the same way tonight. Other than that I'm staying in. I may go to the movies if I can find one I want to see however. I haven't had a completely free wednesday since last September. I don't know how to act. :rotfl2:

Have a good day.

Just a little sweet thing, I asked Jess to log in to her Disney Channel account to enter a competition and her password is Leo's real name because she says he reminds her of Disney :goodvibes She did however spell it wrong :rotfl2:
Oh my - I'm all choked up now! :hug: For Jess - tell her we miss her... ALL of you! :grouphug:
It's hot and sticky here...
Don't want to hear it Jo. ;) :rotfl:

I don't know if it was them, me, medication or a combination of all, but I wasn't annoyed at all. Maybe I'm channeling LL's kinder, gentler me. ;)
:rotfl: I'm so glad it's gone well!

That's so cool. When I was little, my uncle was in the Navy and had to go out on nuclear subs for 6-9 months at a time, with zero family contact. I don't know how my aunt and cousins did it. :sad1: It's a whole new world with the Internet! :thumbsup2

I thought this was supposed to be relaxing, with no school.
Right?!?! :faint:

On a positive note I did talk to my daughter about buying snacks for the kids. It gets really expensive buying from the snack bar everyday. She went out straight away and bought them juices and animal crackers that I can bag up. I am glad that she is taking some responsibility towards that.

Yep, I don't use our real names on the 'Net, so "Leo is his secret identity here. ;)

I started pricing up BC for next August and I want to go...
:banana::banana::banana:
:headache: but David says no as stuff at work is not certain :headache: If only it didn't cost so much :sad2:

Aw, how sad! :sad1:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Morning! One week. That is all. :banana:
Also, Leo's home sick again. Ugh! Still coughing a lot and no energy. I'm keeping my distance as much as possible and spraying everything down with Lysol. :rotfl:
