Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

BTW - my tops are fitting fine;)
:rotfl2:

Iwill keep:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:worship::worship:for lower DYI prices !!!
Thanks :goodvibes And fingers crossed your day stayed quiet!

My tops are actually fine, too, Mo. ;) (In fact, the bra that D's mom splurged on for me for my birthday seems too big now - I think that any weight coming off with running, etc. is coming off there. :rotfl2:)
OK looks like I need to take up running :rotfl2:

We got hammered yesterday about 4:00pm for about an hour.
OK here that means you got very very drunk :rotfl:

Very hot and sticky day here, golf was almost unbearable :rotfl2: However I did win so that's £3 ($4.50) towards WDW :rotfl2:

Jess has been off ill today, D worked from home, she seems to have a day off every about 10 weeks and literally sleeps all day, she needs to learn to sleep in at the weekend :sad2: Hopefully she'll be fine now otherwise I'll need to take her to the Dr. Oh talking about Dr's Ellie's hands are clearing up with the cream :thumbsup2

The girls have both had their friends round to swim in the paddling pool and then Jess fell asleep infront of the TV  How old is she? :rotfl:
The pool does it to my kids every, single day! :lmao:

Hi Fockers!
Hi Mo! I've been enjoying your Italy TR. :goodvibes
T - that sounds great about Kona, who else is going on that trip? And Octomom, OMG!
It's a big family trip....about 13-17 of us. This house we found is crazy incredible! I found one right on the bay that you can literally jump off the patio and swim with dolphins, but everyone else was afraid to be that close to the water with little kids.

Hi, everyone. I read a couple of times today, but never posted. Cleaning mode, modified to D being home. :rotfl2:
:rotfl2: That's funny. I'm the same way when Andy's around.

Tomorrow is the last baseball game. It's the parent game and then the picnic. Kids will get their trophies and their pictures and then the season is OVER:woohoo:
:thumbsup2 That's how I felt when Brownies was over!
Tomorrow night my other friend is having a pampered chef party and she has a pool so Jim and Jimmy will go with me for that. THe boys will swim while I shop;)
:cloud9: I love Pampered Chef! I haven't been to a PC party in years!

V and T when are you guys off to the world?
I leave Tuesday, V leaves Wednesday, LL & Kate leave Friday.
OK looks like I need to take up running :rotfl2:
 I think you might hurt yourself, hun. ;):lmao:

OK here that means you got very very drunk :rotfl:
Here, too!

Great news about Ellie's hands. :goodvibes

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Not much going on here. Andy finally decided we should go see World of Color at DCA, but when I called to get the dining package for preferred seating, they're all sold out this weekend. Darn! I ended up booking it for July 11, the Sunday after we get back from WDW, so I guess that's ok.

Trying to get the laundry done and then finish up with the packing. I've got all the clothes together, just need to get all the incidentals organized. :thumbsup2

Happy Friday! :hippie:

We got hammered yesterday about 4:00pm for about an hour. Hihg winds took trees down, hail, the works.

Tomorrow is the last baseball game.

Tomorrow night my other friend is having a pampered chef party.

We got a lot of rain really quickly but that was it with the storm but it did cool things off. I was at the pool with the kids when it started to rumble so we packed up and left - FAST. We have a little creek that runs between the grounds and the parking lot and it floods really fast. It gets a lot of storm run off water. I laughed at the fools who decided to wait it out.

Hooray for the last game. We are in the playoffs so have a game Tuesday and then we'll see.

I haven't been to a pampered chef show in a couple of years. I keep hoping someone will have one so I can get the pizza stone.

Very hot and sticky day here, I did win so that's £3 ($4.50) towards WDW :rotfl2:

Ellie's hands are clearing up with the cream :thumbsup2

I sympathize with that. We had 5 days of 90 plus weather with high humidity.
Every pound helps when it comes to Disney.

Glad Ellie's hands are clearing up.

That sounds like a fun trip and the house sounds incredible.

A little more Disney is always a good thing. I know where I'll be that night for dinner and it won't be near as much fun. Jim will be taking me to the restaurant we have gone to for the past 22 years. It's our anniversary and he loves it there so I go. I don't have the heart to tell him I would love to try somewhere else.

+++++++++++++++++++++=
Happy Friday night. I am off with the kids for the next 2 days but I have a feeling I'll be sitting on the couch alot. My knee has been swelling up and now I can barely walk on it. I had this before with the other knee so a trip to the orthopod and probably surgery are in my future.

I also got some sunburn yesterday at the pool. I lather the kids up with sunblock and then forget to do it to myself. :confused3 Fortunately it isn't that bad but the dermatologist would be mad at me. :lmao:

My youngest quit her job today which was good for her. She has been really stressed there. Unfortunately it means my other DD will be working a lot of OT, They worked together, which means I'll be sitting a lot. Three girls quit in the past week and the boss doesn't understand why. They cater to one of the 3 thats left and it created a lot of tension. They work for the racetrack/casino here and they will be shorthanded for a bit because anybody they hire has to have a gaming license and that takes 6 to 8 weeks. Is it October yet? I am going to need that trip to Disney to relax.

On the positive side of it all my DD will be making more money so she can pay for the kids when we go down to the shore. That will be a relief to my pocket.
I may go there in 2 weeks. I love my trips to the shore and try and take 3 or 4 over the summer. It is such a great place to people watch and the kids have a ball.

Have a good night all.

Here are the girls at Middle school Moving Up Day AKA Graduation !! First one at home before leaving

Hey Everyone!!!

Yeah, I'm still alive - barely.

JANET you are so busy. Glad you like TS3 with the exception of the fire alarm. The block party sounded fun. Can I come to Jimmy's B-day in September? That sounds like it will be a blast.

TAZ the book on WDW sounds like a great find. First you said you would have 2 months free, now it sounds like you'll be watching the kids a lot. I think you will be ready for October!!!! Glad the grandkids did well with their activities.

MEL congrats to Gus on the math upgrades. It's good to know you survived the In-laws. Good luck to SD with the driving.

Rosie it sounds like you are ready for October. The pics of the girls are great!

T have a great vacation!! Good luck with any more celeb pics.

CE I have my fingers crossed for you on your applications. I'm glad to hear that you are happy with the teachers the boys will have next term.

JO it has to be a huge relief to find out the Ells blood work didn't show anything major as far as the skin discoloring. I hope that the creams work for her. Your "musical chairs" type golfing sounded interesting. I do hope you get your refund for the swing.

Mo the pictures were beautiful again. It all sounds like so much fun. Good luck with the Disney cruise!

V - I hope you have a great vacation too!!!!!

@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@

I haven't been feeling so hot this week. I worked but by Wednesday I was suffering with an allergic reaction to poison ivy plus some kind of cold/sinus crap. I guess I need to realize that I'm not 25 any more. A week of constant running and working on the deck took it's toll.

I am waiting on the rails for the deck to come in at the local DIY store. They should be at the store by July 5th. Then all I need to do is some trim work to make it all look pretty. I'll take some pics when it is all done.

Doug's doctor said that his MRI looks a tad better. We've heard that before so I am not getting too excited at this point. He is still having major issues with walking and the right hand.

I spent most of the day today in the yard doing anti-bug and anti-weed stuff as well as mowing. I have to go to the store tomorrow plus do some more yard stuff. No rest for the weary!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!

OK here that means you got very very drunk :rotfl:

It can mean that here too, but I meant it in that the poured rain, hail, and high winds. Almost hurricane! People here are still without power:sad2:

Ellie's hands are clearing up with the cream :thumbsup2

Great news and I hope Jess is feeling better!

Today was the last day of baseball :yay: We played 1 inning with the parents on field with the kids when we all decided it was too hot and quit:rotfl2: The kids had their junk food picnic (doughnuts, cookies, soft pretzels, hugs, and cupcakes ` the breakfast of champions:lmao:) Then the kids go t their trophies and pictures and it was over. Nice and short:thumbsup2 Now we are home and just chilling. I am doing some laundry and Jimmy is building Knex. We have the pampered chef demonstartion/pool party at 5:00.

Hope you all have a great Saturday:goodvibes

okay, I got the next installment ready...

Day 5 started with a much improved breakfast from those in Rome. A big bowl of fresh fruit and I was introduced to Nutella. OMG, it’s chocolate peanut butter. It was so yummy on some rice cakes or well just about anything!

After breakfast it was off to see the David, and sorry, no pics allowed inside. The museum itself is very small, it was built for David. Before you see the David, you are shown other works in partial completeness. There are slabs of marble that have begun to be chisled. It is very interesting to see the beautiful shapes emerging from the marble.

You are then shown the David, and WOW! You don’t realize the detail until you are standing there in front of it! It really is amazing. With that you are given a few minutes to visit the bathrooms and gift shop! Ah yes, some things are the same no matter where you are!

After that we went on a walking tour of Florence and saw the Duomo! This is an absolutely stunning building.

And then the square nearby, which has an outdoor museum that includes a copy of the David.

ry%3D400

After showing us one more Church (which I must admit at this point I was getting the itch to shop). Some of were asking where the meeting point was before going into the church as we knew there was free time coming up afterwards. Don’t get me wrong it was a beautiful church and Galileo is buried there and there is a memorial to Florence Nightingale too, but some of us were churched out at this point.

ry%3D400

As soon as we knew the meeting point and time we were off. Camille and Stephanie wanted to see the leather demo that the tour guide were taking some to, but Barb, Tracy and I wanted to shop! And boy did we.

I got a leather coat, a backpack, 2 purses and some marmalade for Murph. We did stop for lunch in a cute little café. I think we ran back to the meeting place to catch the bus back to the hotel. We were the last to show up!

In the afternoon there was an optional trip to San Gimignano (also in Tea with Mussolini). It was another medieval town (known as the town of hundred towers).

We had a local guide that showed us the highlights and in a little shop were offered wild boar salami (very good) and a little white wine to wash it down. If I had been allowed to bring the salami home I would have. We were shown to the top of the town (and it was getting hot) and then given some time on our own to shop. And I did. Again I was with Barb and Tracy. Tracy was shopping for her 2 little boys and I was trying to find a Murph a navy leather bag. She has been on the search for a specific bag for a couple of years. I found it in San Gimiganano. I also found another bag for me!

If you saw Tea with Mussolini, these towers should look familiar;)

As we were waiting for the bus to take us back to Florence I noticed a supermarket. I had had some trouble breaking a EURO50 so I popped in the store and got some bottled water and treats for work to break a 50.

That night there was an optional to the Borghese Palace, that included dinner and medieval show with audience participation.

The palace is absolutely gorgeous.

Dinner was yummy too, asparagus risotto, pasta, choice of fish, steak or pork and desert was tiramisu.

One thing about dinner in Italy, they all ended so late. We got back to the hotel after 11 and were exhausted!

I finally took pics of my purchases and wll upload next, please hold....

There's the Mo we know and love.....shopping pictures:yay::hug:
I don't know that I could eat that late, I would probably fall asleep in my plate:lmao:

++++++++++++++

Afternoon all. Had a great time at the papmpered chef/BBQ yesterday. The men and kids played in the pool why we did the demo and then we just hung out by the pool enjoying some adult beverages and chatting:thumbsup2 I spent $98 and saw a ton more stuff that I would like. I signed up to possible do a show in the fall, so if anyone wants pampered chef stuff let me know then:thumbsup2

Got up this morning at about 8:30 (Jimmy slept in:cool1:) and have been running since. Created the shopping list for Jim. Threw in a load of laundry, cleaned the bathroom and am inthe middle of jimmy's room, but I neede a break to get something to drink so I thought I'd check in here.

I need to finish up Jimmy's room and then work on the middle room. My parents come home on Thursday. Can't wait:yay: and with next weekend being the holiday weekend, I won't get much done so I am tring to get as much done as I can today.

Tomorrow Jimmy is back at camp (for his last week until August 30th) so Jim is going to tear apart the kitchen to clean and reorganzie. The pantry alone will take him a little while. Now that Jimmy can get up and get his own cereal, etc we have t rearrange some things so he can actually reach them.

Hope you are all having a great Sunday. I'm sure I will check in on my next break:flower3:

Hello!

Just popping in before I start back for 3 nights of glorious work.

Janet I'm glad you had a good time at the pool party. PC does have some interesting gadgets.

Mo once again the pictures of the architecture are beautiful. I love the idea of the dinner show with the audience participation. You bought some gorgeous leather goods.

It is supposed to be sunny with a temperature drop most of this week in this area. That will be a nice change. I've got so much more stuff to do outside. I hope it holds until I am off work again.

Doug has been very weak the last 2 days. His chemo was last Tuesday. He tried to mow some yesterday, it was just too hot. He slept most of the day today. I told him to stay inside and don't worry about the fields. We can get them with his mom's big tractor if the grass gets too tall.

Nothin' else going on.

Chat at you all later!

Mo, I love your red bag! :thumbsup2 What beautiful pictures. I do hope I can meet Mitch somewhere and Italy is a possibility.

Kristel,

Janet, I got your note. Thanks. :goodvibes

Reid had yet another birthday party this morning. This one was for his friends at Gymboree. I had never been there before, but it was a fun place for them to play, and the instructor was really good with them.

I'm watching Jacqueline Kennedy jewelry on QVC which is always so fascinating to hear the history of the jewelry. Thank goodness I don't wear gold jewelry because I want it all! ;)

Just to let you know I'm OK just haven't had time to post and it's now 10.20pm here so I still haven't :rotfl:

I'll chat tomorrow :goodvibes

Well, I guess we know where we stand;)
I know, sorry  :rotfl2:

Can someone brief me on who, where, when for WDW this week please? I know T leaves tomorrow but I'm at a loss of other details :rotfl2:

Today is another scorcher, D and I started off with about a 4 mile walk along the river into town did some shopping (face masks for J's party) then had a drink at a pub where we'd left our car. Then after lunch we went and did some putting and chipping, when we got home D rolled his shorts up and stood in the pool :rotfl2:

Boo has learnt a short cut to get into the house, as we have the downstairs windows open she now jumps through, she even tried one of the higher ones and just dangled there :rotfl2:

I just had an email saying I've been chosen to be a judge for a hair magazine and will be sent loads of hair care goodies next week. Last year it was worth over $300 :faint: Can't wait to see what I get :thumbsup2

Tomorrow is my Ladies Invitation and I've invited my friend Sally so that should be fun :goodvibes

So, did you like TS3????

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Morning all. It's Tuesday and I am STILL not in Belgium:headache: Jimmy is at camp. Jim is meeting with one of his fellow teachers as part of that workshop he went to last week. He has to get something on the website in order them to get the cash:upsidedow

Mom and dad leave early tomorrow morning to start the drive up. They are hopin to make it to Virginia byt dinner time, stay at a hotel and then drive the rest of the way on Thursday. If they do that I expect them in sometime mid-afternoon on Thursday. We will see them Friday for dinner.

Oh, CE - before I forget a few of the shirts you sent were a bit small for Jimmy - if you don't mind I will pass them on my girlfriend who has a 4 year old. If they don't fit him know she can put them away for later.

THat's it from me. HAve a great day everyone:cool2:

Welcome to Orlando, T. :goodvibes

Our fence was finally started this morning. :thumbsup2 The wood was on back order, so it took longer than expected. How old am I that I'm excited about a fence? :rotfl: It will look great though.

That's about it from me. How sad, isn't it? My mother is still at my sister's and Mitch is still gone. ;)

I am getting my hair done tomorrow which I always enjoy. Since M wants some pics of me, I'll try to post one if I manage a good one.

Still enjoying Wimbledon and the World Cup and anxiously waiting for the Tour de France. One day I'll get to see them all in person.

Have fun T

:rotfl2: Did you see the photos I posted a few years ago from the Tour de France when it came past? Have fun at the hairdressers!

I got soaked today, not on the golf course but running from the car to the club house, luckily it stopped before we started :thumbsup2 I didn't play fantastically, I always try too hard in these things but we did come 4th, guess how many prizes? Yep 3 :rotfl2: It was a nice day though and my guest had fun :thumbsup2

Tomorrow is the semi final of our clubs summer knockout so fingers crossed!

Oh and if you could view my link on FB I'll love you forever  :rotfl:
