Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Good evening all!!!
I don't do paypal either cuz for some reason it won't let me !!!:rotfl2:Do you think THE WHIZ is at it again!!!!!:lmao:

My trip to Lake George is getting very close in fact next week !!I have a couple more calls to make .. well actually they should return mine !!! Several are sending their meds in pill minders :worship::worship: Will make my job easy!!!!! The hotel looks really nice it's WINGATE by Wyndham !!:banana:

Kyle is busy with his scrapping and was explaining to me about red copper and regular copper:confused3He looked at me and said it's Okay Gram I know you don't understand :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I have to go back to work soon to orient a new overnight gal!!! It was 10:30pm or 5 am guess which I picked :rotfl2::rotfl2:

I am concerned about a Meeting next month it is very hush hush even my Boss has NO idea what it's about !! We are thinkinhg some sort of reorganization which could mean cutbacks !!!:scared1::scared1:Will let you know after !!!!
I;ve stayed there! It's very nice, and nicely in the middle of some of the downtown Lake George stuff and six flags. I did get my wifi usage limited as I was using excess bandwith. Good free breakfast.
Morning! I read through, but don't have time to quote: I laughed, I cried, I sent many virtual hugs all around! :grouphug:

What a whirlwind weekend :faint: Spent lots of time with my dear friend, got a little Pool:30 in, ate a ton, and chilled at the beach. :cloud9:

Oh, and got new hair:

Both are after having the Brazilian Blowout... the first required NO flat-iron, NO round brush and a mere 5 minutes of blow-drying! To get that look before would have taken all of those instruments and an hour or more of my precious time.

The second was air-dried and then touched a little with a curling iron; still 5 minutes of styling time.

I'm delirious, I'm so happy! :love::love::love:

Very nice!

Where'd all my quotes go??!! Urg. :headache:

Add me to the "Ready to be done with school" club. Not like my days will change much; I'll still be getting Leo up and off and me to work, though he'll be going to camp instead of school. But I'm ready to be DONE nagging about homework and bedtime and required reading. And... calls home because he "has a tummy ache." When I was a kid, a "tummy ache" got you 15 minutes max at the nurse's office, then you got your butt back to class and lived with it. Now, I get a call to come bring him home. Yes, today. Gramma's handling it, but there's always payment for that.

Anyway, Janet, I'm glad Jimmy's tests came out well.

CE - woo hooty for walls! :yay:

I'm off to eat an orange. If you've not seen my tweets, I'm in pre-vacation fitness mode. Read: my body hurts from working out and I'm HUNGRY. I might also be a tad cranky. :rotfl:

ETA: Thank you Hedy! :)

Well, glad they were negative!

Thanks:goodvibes

it's Okay Gram I know you don't understand

Positive thoughts Rosie:goodvibes

I'm glad the tests were negative. I agree though why put Jimmy through that stress. If he had another sizure it would be a different store.

Thanks!:goodvibes

I finally got to see what my DD's were saying about some of the mothers on my team. I have to postpone tomorrow's game because of my grandson's game. These parents knew this from Day 1. When I told them about tomorrow they rolled their eyes at me and started whispering to one another. Then they started saying how tough I am on my grandkids. Before I favored them. :confused3 I have 3 and 4 y/o's on the field and 2 y/o's off of the field. One of the other mother's heard it all and said something in my defense at least so it made me feel a little better. I just keep telling myself it's for the kids.

The parents are brutal. GLad the one lady stood up for you:thumbsup2

Morning everyone!
I know it's wrong but I am SO glad school is almost over. I hate getting up and packing lunches and making sure everyone gets on the bus.
See. This is why I'd never survive as a working mom.

Me too Mel. Jimmy will be doing 3 weeks of camp, but its just not the same stress. Plus after the 1st week, Jim will be doing all the dropping off, etc.

One of Mitch's army friends is in town with his family, so we're going to dinner tonight.

Have fun:goodvibes

So, the good of the relaxed morning is somewhat negated by all the "what NOW???" crap that I get.

THis is where it comes in handy having a teacher for a husband. He keeps him entertained ::yes::

Good morning all. It's a normal (read -Full Day) at work for me today, but I guess I can't complain since I am off tomorrow and Tuesday:woohoo: Tomorrow is the school Spring Fair and Tuesday I have what will hopefully be my last eye doctor appointment for a LOOOOOOOONNNNNGGGGG time as well as the followup to the mammogram.

We don't really have anything planned for the weekend, which is good, because I think we can all use a break ::yes::

ot much else happening here. Hope you are all having a great day:hug:

Nice!:thumbsup2

UPDATE: I was wrong; Leo was sick... Gramma said he just puked. Now I feel guilt.:guilty:

The last set was replayed this morning because of the rain delay, but I missed the unenhanced view. Fognini looked really angry that play was continued. Hopefully the ending will be good. :thumbsup2 I would like my shoulders to look like Monfils'. ;)

They had a big fight. I have a little thing for Monfils. :lovestruc It's not as big as my thing for Rafa, but... :rotfl2:

CE - woo hooty for walls! :yay:

Thank you! :goodvibes

Oh, no. That's the worst. I hope he's better soon (and that Gramma's payback isn't too fierce...)

Tennis was good, and now I think I'm relatively free for the afternoon. I have to get ready for the sitter, though. D doesn't leave until late. I didn't know if D was planning on doing any more bathroom work or not. I do need to help with the walls and stuff, as he needs someone to told them into place to get at least a few screws in before it can be more self-supported.

I never did mow - it was just too stinking hot yesterday, and now it's probably too wet from the rain last night. We're getting awfully tall out there! :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

All right. Gotta put some laundry away. BBL! :wave2:

Poor, Leo.

I have a little thing for Monfils. :lovestruc It's not as big as my thing for Rafa, but... :rotfl2:
Not only is he nice looking, he seems to have a good attitude. And you do speak French. ;)

You're getting there. :thumbsup2

I thought the sprinkler guy was coming at 10.00, but when I looked at my book, I wrote 1.00. So I thought he was late, and I have been sitting waiting. We're going to early dinner and then they invited me to go to DTD with them. Might as well as I have nothing else to do. :goodvibes I hope it's not too crowded. :rotfl:

I was watching the Biggest Loser guy on the news who supposedly lost 246lbs in 18 weeks. How is that even possible without surgery, or for that matter with surgery? :confused3

Ooooh, could you price something for me? Either in WOD or the CHristmas Shoppe they have amulti-pack of the Mickey Head antenna toppers. Can you find out out how much they are for me?:flower3:

It scares me how fast they lose that weight. Several previous contestants have gained it all back:sad2:

At least a little. ;) I've not had it on - the rain delay was causing them to show stuff I'd already seen.

Yep!

Well, the babysitter has come and gone with the kids to karate. I was going to leave in about a half hour, but may need to wait a few extra minutes. The captain of my team called a bit ago, and she's not heard from one of the 5 people we have going tonight. She was debating, then, just coming to watch, but if we'd need her to play because the woman doesn't show up, she'd at least be there. :confused3

She was waiting to call me back in probably 15 or so minutes. If she comes, she has to run from work and I'll meet her somewhere.

Ooh, and the Fed Ex guy just brought my shelves for the office craft closet deal! :thumbsup2

Wish me luck! I'll probably check in after I get home, but it will be relatively late. The match can run no longer than 1 1/2 hours, but that's 8:00, and it's about an hour drive - and that would include no socializing after, which would be unusual. Of course, it could end sooner - the one Tuesday night only took us about 1:10.

Have a good evening! :grouphug: V, hope Leo's got what Buzz had - which was a "once and fine" thing.

If not tomorrow, when is the semi final? Good luck! :goodvibes
Oh not for ages, the one I'm playing hasn't even played her first round yet, yep I'm jumping the gun saying I'll be playing her but if I don't she needs shooting for losing :rotfl2:

Jo - Congrats on the win and I don't do paypal:snooty:
See I've been thinking about that and  my sister has a US bank account so send the cheque to her :rolleyes1 :rotfl2: And I'm so pleased Jimmy is fine!

I am concerned about a Meeting next month it is very hush hush even my Boss has NO idea what it's about !! We are thinkinhg some sort of reorganization which could mean cutbacks !!!Will let you know after !!!!
Good luck, but I'm sure you'll be fine

OMG they start young!!!

I swear they call if there is a freaking sniffle sometimes:headache:
Did I ever tell you all about when I had to leave the mall to pick Ellie up from school as she'd been sick? Well her friend at lunch had stuck a grape up each nostril and said looooook green boogers to which Ellie brought up a mouth full of sick and they called me :headache: yeah I was happy!!!

UPDATE: I was wrong; Leo was sick... Gramma said he just puked. Now I feel guilt.:guilty:
Oh no, hope he gets better soon!

::yes:: please. Thanks. Let me know the cost and I will send you a check!:thumbsup2
Oh I see you can send Angela a cheque but not me :sad2: J/K  :rotfl2:

Where has the day gone??? I've cleaned the house, done the supermarket shop, done all the ironing and of course entered a ton of comps :rotfl2: I also phoned the physio as we still haven't had an appointment (we went end of Feb) and at first she told me it would be another 6 weeks but I got her chatting, was extra nice, mentioned we had a sollow up specialist appointment in 10 days time and surprise surprise we have an appointment on Tuesday :thumbsup2 It's the school holidays so we could go anytime :thumbsup2 Just shows it pays to be nice!!!

Tomorrow I have a club scratch competition against another club, it's not until 3pm though so won't be home till about 8pm :sad2:

Hi All! :wave2:

Just a quick drive by, as I'm CRAZY busy with work this week! The good news is I should be done by next week! Whoo hoo!

I'm off! Miss you guys! :grouphug:

****************************************************
We won, we won!!!

I'm going to get big-headed if this keeps up! The team won 2 out of 3 overall, too - so as a team we're 3-0 in all matches, so we may be able to head to districts in August. Woohoo!

The kids did great with the babysitter and were well asleep by the time I got home, about 45 minutes after bedtime. Pshew. :)

I'm having a glass of wine, and trying to find something to watch - but I'm in a good mood! :thumbsup2

OMG!

I just hit the wrong button and poof!!!!

It took me an hour to write everything - carp!

Take #2 - the shortened version.

Hey all!!!!

I skimmed the last 10 pages. Sorry but it was my b-day on the 25th and I've been busy.

Sorry about the end-of-school rush for some of you. Also for the sickies.

I don't think Kat has posted since the comments about the job thing. I'm sorry I haven't been around to respond. She was evidently very hurt. I can't let it go.

I am a 'tell it like it is, I can handle it" kind of person. Some people are not. I am so bad at constructive criticism when it comes to issues that are important to me. I forget that some friends are more sensitive than I am. I have been striving to be more diplomatic and tactful in my delivery. It's very hard for me.

Kat, I don't believe that anyone was being mean on purpose. It was from the heart even if it was a bit harsh. Just like I need to learn to be more sensitive, you need to learn how to handle the cold truth. We all come from different places. We need to learn each others' language if we want to get along.

Please don't let this keep you from talking to us. I hope the 'funk' you were in is gone and the census job is coming along. I also hope that you can find your 'nitch' in the employment world. It can't be easy with a bad back.:hug:

It seems to have been a 'Housewives' week all around for some of us! :grouphug:

The weekend is upon us once more. I hope you all have a good one.

I am staying home tonight with Doug. (I took FMLA.) He had his 2nd chemo yesterday. I guess the 2nd and 3rd ones are the worst. He took an extra anti-nausia med. I hope it works.

Here is the link to my TR on Enchanted: Wine and Rednecks It's a shorty.

I need to call WDW today to add 4 days to my ressie. I think we will be staying at POR as it looks like POFQ is booked up. I need to add some special requests since we don't know if Doug will still be having issues with walking.

Hugs to all - L8R!

Happy Belated Birthday! :goodvibes That's my mom's b-day, too. :)

Oh cool - I didn't know we could read without joining - thanks!

Grrrrr... Leo's still sick. As in vomiting. He can't even keep a few sips of water down. :sad1: Any suggestions? I'm not a puker and neither is he usually, so I'm at a loss! He's home with Gramma, who is a puker, though, so there's hope.

Popsicles? I know I always get the "BRAT" diet recommendation - bananas, rice, applesauce, tea - but if he can't keep anything down... :sad2:  I'm so sorry.

Oh, my goodness...

Funny story, regarding my tennis drama from last week.

I just this afternoon got an e-mail from the 3.0 team captains that I'm playing on Tuesday! Yay! I'm playing with Sue (the crazy one) - not so yay, but OK. I thought I remembered that D would be out of town, so I called him to be sure. Yep. Called my sitter, she's free, things are good. Then I went to write it down on my calendar, and oh, no! the boys have their baseball game on Tuesday.

With D out of town, I feel that I need to go to their game, so I think, "Well, I'll just tell them I can't play," when I start realizing what THAT'S going to look like: I see the lineup and don't want to play with Sue.

It's so totally not the case, but I know it looks awful. I have to just laugh because what else can I do? :rotfl2:

So, I sent out a message to the team telling the story - called D, called the sitter, THEN figured out about the baseball, which is 100% the truth - but it still, if you don't know me well, seems like I'm making up this elaborate story to get out of it. :rotfl2:

Then, I called Tara to tell her the story and amuse her, and whilst on the phone with her, I got another message from the captain, more or less begging me to do both, as "players are dropping like flies." I know that both people she had listed as "subs" were people that Sue doesn't like to play with, so maybe Sue said she'd not play if I wasn't? I don't know. Gah. Or, maybe one of the other players can't come - who's to say?

I said in the long run that if she absolutely couldn't get anyone else, I'd take my kids to their game, stay for half, then race to the match (which is away, about 40 minutes or so) but that I wouldn't be able to get there too early. I'd have to make sure my sitter would be able to meet us at the park and take the kids home. Not ideal, and I have mom guilt about that, but...

Sigh. But, it's funny. :rotfl:

The good news is I should be done by next week! Whoo hoo!
Yay :goodvibes

We won, we won!!!
Wooohooooo

I do too :hug::hug: And Happy Belated Birthday :cake:

Is it still light that late over there? Good luck! :cheer2:
You guys crack me up, how do you all envisage England to be? Covered in smog and cold? :rotfl2: At this time of year it's light till about 9pm :thumbsup2 I hope Leo gets better soon

Funny story, regarding my tennis drama from last week.
Oh CE :rotfl2:

I won my match :yay: I beat her 4 and 2 (meaning we only had 2 holes left and I was 4 ahead) I was only 5 over par (should be about 10) so I was very happy. Also the team won 4-1 so we need to win 2 games at their course to go through to the next round, I can't play that though as it's a Saturday so they'd better do it :rotfl2:
