OK, so all four of us were level 2.5's playing up in a 3.0 match, but we won, and handily, too! Woot!

But it was SO stinking hot - my car said 94 when I got to the club.

D & Tara were there, and they both said they'd never seen me so red, ever.

D had brought the kids, so we all ate there at the club's restaurant and it was ridiculously slow. Oh, well. The kids went right to bed, and I jumped in the shower as soon as I'd said goodnight. The house is still 80 - the outside temp is still 81, here at 9:45...

As I think I said, it was 94 when I played tennis last night at 6:00. They had originally had today as cooler, but it's already 90, heading to 93. That's supposed to pull a "Florida" though and produce t-storms this afternoon.

Tomorrow is only supposed to be 78. You're right - this is hotter than almost our entire last summer, even August.

Thankfully, the basement stays at about 55 degrees in any hot weather. Whew. Take care, Fockers.

Again, great minds - I've spent plenty of laundry time this morning - the basement is by far the nicest place in the house right now.

I won my scratch match today It was against my friend who has been beating me in the past (I beat her last time though) we're both the same handicap so it's normally tight but I beat her easy today I'm now in the semi finals but have to play the best lady in the club who plays off 3, in theory she should thrash me but.... positive thinking here..... if she plays a few above her handicap and I play a few below (I played to 7 today) then I could have her

Tomorrow is a golf free day, my house is in desperate need of a clean!!!!

It's really hot here too. I can't do alundry because my washer is at my DD's house, I do my laundry there while I watch the kids. I haven't gone down my basement in 5 years, it scares me. There is a ghost down there who isn't always friendly.

Afternoon all. It's my "free" day. As if I really have one. I have dance for my granddaughter and then a t-ball game. I have to give the gossipy parents some more ammo to talk about me. I need to reschedule tomorrows game because my grandson has a scrimmage game. I need to make sure he doesn't reinjure his thumb and my son has to work. I'm not too worried though my SIL, his mother, a friend and my DIL will all be at the game so if anyone says anything about me these parents will be hearing some choice words. At least I have some support. I am hoping it cools down just a little by game time, it's supposed to b in the 90's today.

The catscan and the EEG we all negative, so there you have it folks. She did mention about doing a 24 hour EEG, but my thinking is why put Jimmy under that stress if we don't need too. Jim doesn't agree...I will win this one

Jim and Jimmy are outside playing under the sprinkler and I am watching Top Chef Masters. Not much else happening. I actually have to work a full day tomorrow

I finally got to see what my DD's were saying about some of the mothers on my team. I have to postpone tomorrow's game because of my grandson's game. These parents knew this from Day 1. When I told them about tomorrow they rolled their eyes at me and started whispering to one another. Then they started saying how tough I am on my grandkids. Before I favored them. I have 3 and 4 y/o's on the field and 2 y/o's off of the field. One of the other mother's heard it all and said something in my defense at least so it made me feel a little better. I just keep telling myself it's for the kids.
Oh well I'm off to update my TR that people are reading. I just hope they are enjoying it. BBL.

Mel: I'm torn about summer. Like you, I hate the mornings, but my kids are still little enough that you have to do a lot of arranging for the entertainment (maybe this doesn't ever go away - you'd know!) So, the good of the relaxed morning is somewhat negated by all the "what NOW???" crap that I get.

Angela: Have fun at dinner! Did you see the end of the Monfils match last night? When they showed the "unenhanced view" you could so barely see the players. I would not have wanted to play in that darkness!

I'm running a tad behind for my last Thursday class until fall. I guess my favorite pro told D last night that last summer he was only really working something like 15 hours/week at our club, due to the camps and stuff using courts and teens to do them. So, he's taken another job for the summer. He's going to pull a 12 hour day at our club on Mondays, but then the rest of the week he'll be at the other place.

I'm bummed, but I do get it - last summer I didn't sign up for much in the way of the classes or whatever, because of vacation, boat, etc. and a lot of the other people do exactly the same thing...

The last set was replayed this morning because of the rain delay, but I missed the unenhanced view. Fognini looked really angry that play was continued. Hopefully the ending will be good. I would like my shoulders to look like Monfils'.
