Team Focker Watch: Lucky Number 13!

Phil just told me he is moving houses (work) and we will not be partners anymore , I get along well with the manager whi is taking his house so not to concerned !! Good news is my Boss will be his Boss !!So we can harass her together !!!:rotfl2::rotfl2:
You two sound naughty :rotfl2:

Any time I'd be glad to do that for you! :goodvibes
I hope I can take you up on that one day :thumbsup2

My sister is having the moving van come Saturday although they are no where near packed, so we'll see what will happen. Reid is excited about his new blue room. Yes, he picked his room because it was painted blue. It will be repainted but still blue. :rotfl:
Aww bless :goodvibes

I did my duty and went to school to sell the Phillies tickets and the bowling tickets. Came home, have a load of laundry in the washer and one in the dryer. Will head back to school later today for the 1st grade "Spring" party (can't call it an Easter Party even theough they will be coloring eggs, making baskets, and having a visit from a 6 foot bunny:rolleyes:).
How silly, religious reasons????

Cookie sales are FINALLY over! My girls sold over $9,000 worth of cookies! Thanks everyone for helping out!
Wow that is amazing, how much do you get?

The kids have minimum day all week and then a super minimum day on Friday. They literally go to school, have recess, have an assembly and then they go home. Why bother? Ugh.
That does sound ridiculous :sad2:

OMG, last night I busted the kids playing with Evan's inhaler meds! :faint: Evan pumped 1 pump into Maddies mouth and 2 pumps into his mouth. I immediately broke out in hives! I was so furious with them, scared and angry. I yelled so loud they both got really scared. I felt so bad afterward, but what they were playing with was serious stuff. :headache: These kids are going to be the death of me.
Yikes, glad they were OK and hopefully they've learnt their lesson, TE too!

Hey, Jo - a new little neighborhood grocery store opened here and they have a British section. I found those gravy granules you were talking about and a bunch of weird stuff I have no idea what it is. They have some kind of pickled stuff and vegimite (sp?) oh and cream in a can? WTH is salad cream, anyway? :lmao:
OMG salad cream is delicious I eat it almost everyday, it's basically a salad dressing but I also use in in place of mayonaise in egg mayonaise, it has to be Heinz though. There was talk of Heinz discontinuing it and the nation went into uproar so they kept it :rotfl2: Bisto gravy granules??? You literally just use boiling water (or I use the veg water) to make a tasty gravy, Branston pickle??? This is what Rosie misses in her cheese sandwiches :rotfl2: And vegimite is Australian we have Marmite which I hate but Jess loves. What else do they have? popcorn::

I don't think I want to know :scared:
Honestly salad cream is delicious, if I could have found some sachets of it last August I would have brought you all a sample!

I'll answer for Jo as I am sure she mentioned it !!! It is a salad dressing creamy white in color a thin mayo consistency and the flavor is something like miracle whip /sandwich spread !!! It is usually the salad dressinfg of choice in England!!!
It sure is Rosie

My daughter's in-laws believe in bottles to put the babies to sleep, chocolate milk bottles  and since she lived with them she followed their advice. Crystal needs surgery to take care of her cavities. She has 8 cavities and one tooth needs to be pulled.
OMG poor little thing but chocolate milk to go to bed with

It has rained on and off all day, we postponed my golf match a few hours but we still got wet, but I don't care as I won :yay: It was the first round of the summer knock-out and I got drawn against my friend who beat me in the final of the winter competition so I was so pleased to beat her :rotfl2:

If you're anything like me, part of it is knowing that you're GOING to get irritated, so the little things immediately bug you more - there's not a lot of build up. I feel that way with both MIL's.
That is so it.

The eye doctor just called and both mine and Jimmy's glasss are in so that is something else we need to add to our list of things to do this week. Yeah, that list wasn't long enough:sad2:
You didn't want a vacation, right?

OMG, last night I busted the kids playing with Evan's inhaler meds! :faint: Evan pumped 1 pump into Maddies mouth and 2 pumps into his mouth. I immediately broke out in hives! I was so furious with them, scared and angry. I yelled so loud they both got really scared. I felt so bad afterward, but what they were playing with was serious stuff. :headache:
Scary. I take it they were ok though. That happened to me when I was babysitting. One of the kids was hiding and I didn't know it. When I finally found her, I was yelling, but because I was more scared than mad.

Hey, Jo - a new little neighborhood grocery store opened here and they have a British section. It can be our new game. You take pics and Jo and Rosie will explain how to use all these fun, new foods. :thumbsup2

But then I am off to Disney. :woohoo: I got more Mickey mail yesterday so I have my luggage tags, ME tags, and all the wonderful little extras that come with it. Now I'm waiting for a photopass CD early offer.
:cool1:

Because my dad worked for the airlines, my parents thought it would be fun to take Reid to the airport to look at the planes landing and taking off. Of course you can sit in my back yard and do that just as well. :rolleyes1

Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut and my dad needs his done too, so he's coming along. I have no idea how much Jacque charges for a man's cut, but I'm sure it's more than he's used to paying. Hopefully he'll like her and not mention the cost. ;)

I'll answer for Jo as I am sure she mentioned it !!! It is a salad dressing creamy white in color a thin mayo consistency and the flavor is something like miracle whip /sandwich spread !!! It is usually the salad dressinfg of choice in England!!!

No offense, but:sick: I don't like Miracle Whip either!

I did put my foot down on the participation thing. If a child doesn't want to take part that is fine but I am not telling the "older" kids that they aren't allowed.

Good for you.

I went to Resurrection Episcopal church in Mayfair. We merged with Emmanuel Church in Holmesburg so we are now Emmanuel-Resurrection Holmesburg Episcopal church. It was a homecoming in a way as my old church started as a mission of my new church.

So its not only the catholics one's closing down.

Can I scream I HATE RAIN. If it isn't 2 feet of snow it's 3 inches of rain. I want the sun.

It's going to be a beautiful weekend!:yay:

Have a good day all.

You too!

How silly, religious reasons????

::yes::

That's okay, when we come to visit in 5 or 6 years with the boys scouts you can treat me then;) Apparently they do a WORLD jamboree or something every year and they were telling us all the different places we can go. I am really hoping Jimmy stick with it so we can go on the trips:rotfl2:

The party at the school was a succes, but I have found the teachers guide to the ultimate revenge. Fill the kids with lots of sugar and then send them home:eek::rotfl2: Really they were good, and they had a good time. Lots of candy came home on top of what the Easter Bunny is bringing I better make a dentist appointment now;)

We are home and dry and watching Martha Speaks on PBS. HAve to give up the computer in a few though becasue Jimmy wants to play a game.

Chat with you all later!:goodvibes

Great idea :rotfl2: and good luck at the hairdressers, hope your Dad doesn't faint :rotfl:

It's the same consistancy as tomato ketchup, especially the Heinz ones, even the bottles are the same :rotfl2:

We've started the Easter eggs and I'm slowly making my way through a packet of Cadbury mini eggs but they're mini versions of creme eggs, caramel eggs and solid cadbury eggs, OMG they're so moreish :cloud9::eek::rotfl2:

Fantastic, now does your troop get a portion of that or does it all go to the national council, or whatever?
Our troop earns 75 cents per box, so we roughly made $1700 for our troop. :thumbsup2

Ack! Glad they are ok?
Yes, they're fine, thankfully. But I so wanted to KILL them last night!

Oh yes, it was Heinz salad cream... I'm going to try it. I did buy the Bisto gravy granules and OMG, it's the yummiest gravy EVER! Can't remember what the pickle was... some spread or something. Oh and they have Heinz beans in a can.. gross! And it was Marmite, not vegimite.

GREAT idea, Angela! I'm so going to do this! :thumbsup2

Yickes! Gotta go pick up Mads!

Hello all! We're back!

CRAZY weekend. It whizzed right by. We hardly slept and ran around the while time. We had a great time tho, even me. I got to meet Wil Wheaton (stand by me & star trek next generation). We saw 2 great concerts and played a lot of games. we came home with 2 bags more stuff than we started with. We also ate some seriously good seafood that has spoiled me from any seafood now.

I'll post some pics once I upload them today. We got back Sun night but yesterday was spent unpacking and resting. Today I am slow going too, but have a few things to do.

KC starts his new job officially on April 14th!! He is super excited!

Not much else going on this week, just catching up with real life again.

Hope everyone else had a great weekend!

Bisto is good isn't it, can't believe you guys don't have it as standard!!! Salad cream is a desired taste but good, it's much stronger than mayo and honestly try it in egg sandwiches :thumbsup2 OMg heinz baked beans are the staple of all UK students meals, it's what they live on :rotfl2: I like this game :rotfl2:

When you say "egg sandwich" what kind are you talking about? Like egg salad or scrambled egg or fried egg or just any egg? :confused3:laughing:

Oops... I must be a bad mother... I completely forgot about coloring Easter eggs. I loathe that part. :sad2:

That's awesome. Do you use that for trips and stuff for the girls?
We use 75% of it for the troop (trips, badges) and then we try to put 25% back in to the community (food bank supplies, blankets for the homeless/children in need, etc.):thumbsup2

What should we call our new game?
Name that freaky British treat! :rotfl2: ???

Eeewwww is right:sick:

Easter Break has officially begun for the boys (oops not allowed to call it Easter Break, it's Spring break;)). Jim is passed out on the couch and jimmy is planted in front of the TV watching Pokemon:sad2: I

I want to join the English food game. My mom went to England a few years ago with my brothers school. She had someting called clotted cream. She swears it is good but I'm not so sure.

I am taking my grandkids to my house on Friday to do eggs. My daughter totally forgot last year and their father hates the mess. She is coming to help and I will be taking a lot of pics. The baby will be 16 months so she is the perfect age for getting "dyed" herself. :rotfl2:

Hi Fockers!

how are all of you? Miss ya!

OMG, I am cracking up at T's guess the Brit food, but why is Jo answering?;)

Vegemite/marmite - that stuff is tar, you can use it as a cheap fix for your roof:sick: One time a friend of mine brought it back from Australia. I took one whiff and was no like way! So I let the pugs try and even they stuck their noses up at it, and they eat everything!:lmao:

Those Heinz baked beans are gross, when I use to travel to England for work they would be on the breakfast buffet:sick:

Work is still crazy busy, but I am only 7 weeks away from going to Italy:cool1:

So it looks like I'm heading to Boston next week, for work, UGH. I was supposed to be off Monday but now looks like I am going in to prep for the trip. Lucky me:rolleyes:

Hope all is well,

Later

You guys are cracking me up. :rotfl:

I don't know what's wrong with me that I can't be bothered to quote - I love you guys, but I'm feeling very blah with the weather and such, combined with the start of big stress book fair time. I'm sorry.

I like clotted cream. ::yes::

*******************************************************
I had a weird day of busy, then not, then busy again. I went to school this morning to distribute the stapled book fair packets into the teachers' mailboxes, then went to return some stuff to the town library, then came home and did pretty much nothing until the kids came home. Then it was a busy period of doing homework and so forth before going to karate and picking up dinner, then I wound up dropping the boys at my neighbor's so that I could go to the PATT meeting.

We did the voting, but I've not found out if I won. I did lobby to not, so as to stick with book fair another year, though I kept having to say I'd serve happily if I win. ;) We'll see.

Anyway, when that was over, it was crazy, very quick, get the boys to bed and stuff, as it was after bedtime before I even picked them up. Now I'm just sitting again. :confused3 D should be home pretty late tonight. He's just found out he has another trip on Friday, which is kind of too bad since we have the bathroom redo going on. But, that's OK. He has tomorrow and Wed. to get going.

I don't do a lot of egg coloring, either, but on top of that, I have absolutely nothing prepared for Sunday. I need to even find out if we are eating with Deb & co. or what... Yikes.

Jo, congrats on the win!

Have a good night! :goodvibes

No worries, there are times when I just read to keep up, but don't quote for days. :)
