Well in just over 12 hours I've got my golf club interview, I've just washed my hair, painted my toe nails and defuzzed my legs! I expect it will rain though and I'll wear my long boots So hopefully some time tomorrow I can post good news but knowing these places it will probably take them a few weeks to make a decision!!!!!!

On Saturday I've got an interview for a scholarship for a golf club, it's trying to encourage younger members so is offering a deal. If I get in they will waive the £1000 ($2000) joining fee and subs will be half price (about £450/$900 ) until I'm 40 so it's a great deal!

But I've got to prove to them

1. I will be an asset to the club - when I was younger I played twice for my county (state) and had a handicap of 12

2. I have a good knowledge of the game - I'm married to a Pro :

3. I'm not financially capable of paying - So no discussing WDW Seriously I can't warrant spending £2000 for me to play golf

There were a couple of others which I can't remember but I fitted the criteria! Also my DD is really keen to join in about a year so she'll be an asset too, junior girls are like gold dust!

Thing is I've only ever had 2 interviews for jobs and the last was about 15 years ago, hope I don't make a mess of it, I'll probably end up giggling and they'll think I'm daft!

Oh I read the TE letter. I was thinking that you were trying to really get into an elite club that cost a lot of money. Well, I guess you are and it does! Good thing you're married to a golf pro and are poor! Now, does that make sense?

Good luck with that. We will be glued to our computers to see what happens....
