TE & Rosie - great work!

Mr Diz is finally able to get around a little. He is tired of being in the house, but he is going to stay home the rest of the week. He'll work from home Thursday and Fri. I have a sore throat and headache, but I've been having headaches and fatigue a lot lately. I'm trying to diet and see if that helps. If it doesn't I'm going to see a doctor.

Okay, I just decided that I'm taking the girls to the mall tonight to see Santa. We didn't make it on Saturday to the cookies with Santa thing at our town hall because it was snowing too hard and I was too tired. Since DH has class tonight, I figure I'll take the girls to visit Santa and then run to Fazoli's for kids night -- 99 cent kids meals!

V: The Leo situation sounds like just too much "freedom" at daddy's. I think you handled it great. The house/school/money issue is a scary one. Your degree WILL happen eventually. Sometimes there are roadblocks. They are only temporary though. Vent whenever you need to.

Sorry if I missed you! I got my hair cut, saw Bob for a coffee, did some shopping at Target(Scary Mobscene), made a quick trip to the grocery store and picked up both boys.

Now we're home and they are both getting caught up on the work they've missed from being sick. It POURED all day today. Now it's switching to ice and snow. The boys are hoping for a snow day but I don't see that happening. I HATE icy roads! When I left the house this morning it was raining but it was still about 34 degrees and all the sidewalks were like skating rinks! I had to shuffle into the hair salon so I didn't wipe out! LOL.

I got cards from Janet and Mo today! CUTE CUTE CUTE!

Well, then the question becomes is 110 pieces too much? I guess I'll look at the ones we have and try to determine. My younger two love puzzles, but they won't sit for too long.

so did u decide on a mini puzzle? BA does not like puzzles so she would not be too happy. I would probably wrap a note up in a giant box for her..........Ab would not see it as a present!

Yesterday BA came home aggrevated that her art teacher had told her she needed to "totally restart" her painting as it was pretty bad.
She told the teacher that she was "artistically challenged"
Then the teacher told her not to smart talk!

So, we braved the mall and got our pics with Santa. It wasn't bad at all. It's been raining all day here, so I think everyone was not going out. I figured it was a good time to go. We got there just before 5pm, did the Santa thing and then went to Fazoli's for dinner. Gotta love 99 cents kids meals! Then, DD7 mentioned to me that her class was out of dry erase markers. One of the boys had used the last one up today. So, there was a United Art & Education store right next to Fazoli's so I did a little early Christmas shopping for DD7's teacher. Picked up a package of markers for her classroom and got my Christmas paper to write our Christmas letter on! I'm getting close to being ready to send out those cards!

On the way home, my cell phone rang and it was the MIL. They were sitting at my house and wondering why I wasn't there. Of course, they hadn't called to tell me that they would be stopping by or anything. Luckily I was already on my way home. They received an offer on their house up north yesterday and they had a counter-offer to sign and fax. They've got a computer and email but no printer, so anytime something has to be printed and/or faxed, they have to come to our house. Of course, it was sent to DH's email address, so I had to hack into his account to print it off (he was at class). Not a big deal, but it threw a wrench in my evening.

Of course DD4 took a short nap this afternoon, so I just finished putting her to bed. I hope she stays there this time! It's after 10pm!

Just wanted to check in here before taking out the trash and doing another load of laundry. So much for getting the upstairs vacuumed today....

Well Imhave some NEWS !! We are going to Disney in Feb !!!!!!!!! The girls placed in the Canadian Cher Competition and qualify to compete in Disney in Feb. We took all about 2 seconds to decide we were all going !! DD said someone had to go with them so we decided we all would ! Now I have to figure out where the money is coming from!! DSIL better get back to work and snappy!
