Hi everyone! :goodvibes The weather is nasty over here - freezing rain, ICK... but I'm feeling better today, so I don't care! :yay:

V - First of all here's a hug. I think Leo is just being a boy. I would say the acting out is because of having to spend time with your ex... but to be honest, I think every kid goes through this phase... several times... just wait till he's a teenager! :scared1:  You are doing the right thing by explaining what he did wrong and the apology letter is perfect. He needs to learn to accept it when he's done something wrong and be able to face up to it. I'm still battling that with my boy. I totally agree about the importance of Leo's expression of creativity... but we all have to conform to rules weather we like it or not. It's hard lesson to learn.

Second, here's another hug. The money situation will work out. It always does. Look at the bright side - no homework for awhile! Just keep an eye on the refinance rates... :surfweb: I think you will be able to at a very decent rate. :thumbsup2 Don't rule it out until you get a real estimate of what your house is worth... it may not be as low as you think.

v-- first

i think you're right. leo's behavior might be from being at his dad's over the weekend. from one weekend it sounds like a few different things may have happened

1. little to no stimulation
2 littel to no interaction
3. no discipline , no boundaries
4. change in diet

he could be upset that his dad didn't pay more attention to him. and, after 3 days with no boundaries, sometimes it's hard for kids to readjust. also, a lot more junk food in his diet can really change a kid's behavior.

it sounds to me like all these things combined caused him to act up. i could be wrong, but it's a pretty big coincidence his behavior started on a monday after this weekend.

again , just my opinion. but, for a child to completely change his behavior, usually something is causing it.

also, sorry about the money/school issues, but things will get better.

vent away whenever you need!!! :grouphug:

Hi Focker Friends!!! I'm back!!!! I've missed you guys, but I've been too crazy busy to stop in. I only had 15 pages to catch up on, along with TRs and a new ZZUB blog. I'm tired again after just reading that!

Not much new here. I still haven't had time to do my cards or even put my tree up. Hopefully those will get done in the next few days. As Michelle said, the weather here stinks. Our rain isn't freezing, but it's cold! I'm just glad I don't have to leave the house again today!

I survived my weekend and did get a nap in on Saturday afternoon. It snowed all day on Saturday, so we stayed in the house and did nothing! Sunday was church, then watching the Colts win, then a Christmas open house. Yesterday, I went grocery shopping, worked out and cleaned off my desk in the office (paying bills, etc.). The floor lamp we had in the office died last week and it's been too dark to read anything in there! I bought a new one yesterday, so I was able to get through things finally. Finished the rest of my Christmas shopping last night online too!

So, I guess what I'm saying, is that you might see a bit more of me for the rest of the week! There's too much to multi-quote, but I do have a few comments:

---------------------------------------------
Thanks for missing me, Mel! Glad to hear that NotBob made it home okay. Good luck with the hair color thing. I've been doing my own for over 10 years. I just can't spend that kind of money on myself. Post a pic after you get it done!

V - sorry about the school thing (both you and Leo). I'm sure something will work out and Michelle is right. If there's something bothering Leo, he'll tell you eventually. If not, he's just going through a phase. As long as you teach him that there are consequences to his behavior, he'll be just fine!

TE - that poem was awesome! :cloud9:

Katt -   Hope everything gets better soon! We love you!!

Michelle - hope the antibiotics kick in soon! Where are you flying out of this time? Coming down here anytime soon???? :rolleyes1 I got your card too. Thanks! And the bracelet was in there too!

Jen - glad you're finally feeling better. How's Jon doing? Everything good at school??

Janet - I got your card! Thanks! I'm working on getting mine out by the end of the week!

Kristel - got your card too! Aren't you glad all this rain has melted the snow??? :sad2:

JennV - can't wait to hear all about your trip!

Ed - Got the photopass CD! Thanks! The pics are great. I'll have to post a few here, since it doesn't seem like I'll ever get to my trip report...:sad2:

Sorry if I missed anyone! 15 pages is a lot to catch up on and remember! Hopefully I won't miss so much before I post again! :yay:

Yeah! I added a ticker to my siggie. I can't say what it's for until after Christmas, so I just put our anniversary which is the same time we'll be in the World.
It's nice to see it's only a few months already. :thumbsup2

Hi Dawn!!! I knew I forgot someone. :headache: Hey, I think the puzzle idea sounds excellent, by the way. Sorry I wasn't here to offer suggestions!
No problemo. I guess I should get on that puzzle thingy. I'll add it to my list. :scared:

V, sorry to hear about everything going on, and I've got no advice except, we need to have a drink together soon!

Hi, Jodi. Glad your back and able to slow down, a little! :thumbsup2

Just stopped by to say Hi!! :goodvibes gotta run!!
Hi Jodi! Link for the ZZUB blog please? :surfweb: glad you got the cd. :thumbsup2
I didnt get any christmas cards today. :guilty: Bens PSP came in though. its pretty neat!!!

Okay... It's official. I'm too cheap to do the puzzle. It's $30 before I apply my coupon. I'm also too lazy. I'd have to order the print, write on it, then order the puzzle.

I think I'm just going to get the scrapbook I made from our trip and stick a note in it saying we're going back on one of the pages. Or maybe a postcard from Mickey? :confused3

Baby.. they are 15.00 at Walgreens + shipping

Well, then the question becomes is 110 pieces too much? I guess I'll look at the ones we have and try to determine. My younger two love puzzles, but they won't sit for too long.

Hmmm... the ones they normally do are 63 pieces. That's not a big deal. Maybe I'll try to get one ordered tomorrow after I drop them at Grandma's. :thumbsup2 Thanks, Katt! Plus, they are on sale right now. :yay:

I was going to use this picture I made in Photobucket, but it's too low a resolution for prints, it said. :confused3

And why don't you edit the photo and write on it that way? You can use just about any photo editing software to add writing to the bottom of the picture. And if you can't do it, send me the picture and I'll do it for you!

Snapfish has them for $13.99 + shipping.

I got it done. :cutie: Walgreens only let me do 30 characters, so I put "We're going back to Disney."
:yay:

Jodi also has a great Idea.. I'll help you anyway I can too.
Intensify the DPI....That would up the resolution
and Snapfish is a little cheaper too

Hello all!

Still feeling pretty crappy. It's like this annoying sick tho, not really one thing or another just aches and the all over sick feeling. I'm trying to just sleep it off.

I did have to go to the post office today. I mailed EVERYTHING- secret santa, ornament, cards and a copy of Kingdom keepers for my friend L's daughter for Christmas. I also finally took my month old new pair of jeans to get hemmed, here's hopin' the lady understood my want for the bottom to be sewn back on to make them look normal. I hate being short!

All going out made me realize is that it's still a$$ hot in this house and I feel worse than I'd like to admit.

I'm off to start some spaghetti sauce and hopefully make those Ricotta Cookies. I'll be in and out.

   to all!
