The cards are done! Until I remember someone else, but I think I am done. I also wrapped some gifts, mainly because I don't want KC to be able to snoop his stuff! I camouflage all his stuff in weird boxes so he can't tell once they are wrapped! Hopefully tomorrow will be the end of my shopping...I have just a few things to get. Now if KC would go shopping for me that would be great!

I'm off to watch Law & Order that I DVRd. Night all! Se you Friday (tomorrow is Spring Awakening & shopping in NYC)!

Everyone in my house is HURLING. Even the MIL.

Oh, and Bob called this morning. He has a 103 degree temp, nausea, chills and a VERY sore throat. He thinks it's strep. Poor guy. He doesn't come home until Saturday.

I think I'll hide in the basement so no one can see me cry.

I'm so sorry, Mel. It really stinks when everyone is sick all at the same time. And on your birthday too.... I'm sorry! I think the two of us need to have a do-over birthday. Mine was the day after I got out of the hospital back in August (before my surgery), so I spent the day lying on the recliner trying to not worry about the big C. I think this calls for a girls only trip to Disney, right??

I hate to stay over at my mom's b/c we all sleep in the same room.

I hate staying with the folks I do because I'm only allowed to shower in the master bath's shower... which is located in their master suite... which means I have to wait for them to be done and out. Why? Because they had the tub in the second bathroom professionally cleaned when they moved in and they don't want any feet on the tub floor that their kids use to bathe.

Just back from the orthodontist with Jon. We're supposed to have our phone consult within the next few days to set our appt. to put on braces. Can you say money money money?

Sadly, not everyone knows each other, so it's hard. See, I grew up in one neighborhood, made other friends from all over in the private school I attended, then met a bunch more people when I started hanging out and moved to the city. I could possibly condense it into 3 get-togethers, though...

Not much new here. I, too, need to get moving on holiday cards. I did manage to wrap the going-out-of-town gifts last weekend, so that's done.

I saved me some money... yesterday, I got the phone company to reduce my phone bill to $9.99 and Internet to $14.99 and I canceled Showtime until The Tudors ever returns. Saves me about $45 a month!


Question of the day: do you wear underwear with pantyhose? I got frustrated with visible panty lines the other day and it suddenly occurred to me... PANTYhose - maybe I'm not supposed to be putting another layer under there in the first place!!

I've been so busy these past few weeks and I'm tired... I cannot wait for Disney.

When I was Young I did not. I wore a LOT more Dresses and Suits then . Now I use knee hi's and Thigh Hi's with my slacks or is I have on a Floor length dress.

I wonder if that's why someone got the bright idea to take a perfectly good pair of Panties... got out the back and insert dental closs and call it a thong so you have no lines.. and can still have on "underwear" or at least 1/2 underwear

Although the Body by Victoria Secret full underwear are good to not get pantylines.
