No, sick germs. I've been warning them against my germs for over two weeks now. So, now that I'm better, he doesn't believe me, I guess. He's so funny, it's hard to discipline him. I was ticked this morning, though. I ended up eating his cereal and getting him a new bowl.

We spent yesterday at the MK with Lauralee and family - it was a PERFECT day! Cold and nearly empty - no joke, the longest posted wait time ALL DAY was 15 minutes. It was so nice to meet LL's mom, aunt and Nana and Leo and Michael had entirely too much fun palling around once again.

I'm hoping for low crowds in April. Sounds fun, meeting friends.

I didn't tell you about my BIL, Em had a call when we were at Dads from her DH saying he'd had a bit of a kerfuffle. He has this thing about going to sleep in the car if the boys do rather than move them. Well he drove to the supermarket and Ollie had fallen asleep so he took the chance to also have a sleep. Well a while later he heard people trying to get in the car, it was 2 police and 2 workers and they thought that he'd killed himself and Ollie Apparently the car was surrounded by people watching

Hi To everyone! I am working on the whole packing and cleaning thing today. I did something CRAZY and booked Cinderella to come to Tink's party and sing, dance, face paint, take pictures and read stories. I know... I am NUTS! Let's hope my DH doesn't ask for a divorce when he gets the bill. Maybe I'll write the check and place it in a sealed envelope? Now I just have the cake left. I found a really awesome castle cake, but it was $50 Yikes! I am a baker, but NOT a decorator, so me doing a cake is out of the question. I made pokeball cupcakes (Pokemon) for ds's b-day and they were the extend of my cake decorating skills.

That will be so fun! What a neat idea!

Well, we can finally see the sun and the sky (sort of ) today. Maddie's school was in session, but they had the kids go directly to the classroom - no playground play today and no outdoor lunch.

If Your Ornament is already in a "Box"... Bubble wrap it ( the Box).. and put it in a shipping box with Paper or Packing peanuts for cushion.

If Not.. Find the VERY CUSHIONED bubble wrap , Wrap it in several layers , then Box it up.

Well Legally that only have to have 1 in order to run the ad. But I did think that stunk.. to have really NONE in the stores and run the ad. Had our movie not let out right at 6:00 and we go over to check it out.. we would NOT have gotten either.

What was the "special" price? I missed that ad.

And the Angel Tree was inside the Main part of the Mall.. she took her sweet time picking out the right Angel too. I explained to her WHY those were on the tree... and she just HAD to go get one.

Aww...that's so sweet. We do Toys for Tots every year. I let M&E pick out gifts for others. I think it's important for them to understand how fortunate we all are.

Hello All!
Last night we ate at a local place, Hunter's Pub. Typical sports-type eatery. Doug had their Fields and Waves (Surf and Turf). I had the Stuffed Steak Tacos with onion rings instead of rice and beans. So I guess we actually had not-so seafood and not-so Mexican It was good. We split some jalepeno poppers for an appy. Hey Mel! We paid $46 + tip. I think Doug's was overpriced at $19. He also had 3 beers. He hasn't drank that much in a while.

Hi Crystal! Sounds like you two had a fun night. I'm dying to have a "date" night with Andy this Friday!

Nothing new for me. Tried to price my tentative Dec. trip, but the Disney website was down. So have to wait for later today.

Mushroom chicken, duh. I just brown the chicken (or throw it in the crockpot with the soup) and add the soup on top. Serve with rice and veggies.

A while ago I saw a refrigerator that had a computer that you could enter your ingredients and a recipe would pop out! I'd love that.

Creamy Chicken & Wild Rice


From: Campbell's Kitchen
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook: 7 hours


Serves: 8

Ingredients:


2 cans (10 3/4 ounces each) Campbell's® Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup (regular or 98% Fat Free)
1 1/2 cups water
4 large carrots, thickly sliced (about 3 cups)
1 pkg. (6 ounces) uncooked seasoned long-grain and wild rice mix
8 skinless, boneless chicken breasts halves (about 2 pounds)

Directions:


Stirthe soup, water, carrots, rice and seasoning packet in a 3 1/2-quart slow cooker. Add the chicken and turn to coat.
Coverand cook on LOW for 7 to 8 hours* or until the chicken is cooked through.
*Oron HIGH for 4 to 5 hours.
OvenPreparation: Prepare the recipe as above except reduce the water to 1 cup, and slice the carrots 1/2" thick. Mix the soup, water, rice and carrots in 4-quart baking dish. Add the chicken and turn to coat. Cover. Bake at 375°F. for 1 hour or until the chicken is cooked through.
