So Erich has a co-worker who is offering to sell us his tv for $500. It is a 37' Sharp Aquos LCD 1080. That seems like a pretty good deal? Any of you have experience with this brand?

We are looking at new TV's too Lessa. I know Sharp is a good name, but I have never heard of Aquos

Aquos is just a Sharp series sort of like how Sony has the Bravia series.

Congratulations to Jimmy Johnson! Winner of the 2008 Sprint Cup and the first and only driver to win the series 3 consecutive years in a row!!!! ​

He's not my driver, but I'm happy for him anyway! I had a pretty nice day. It's snowed all day here today. So cold! I made apple pancakes for bfast. Then I did some laundry. Went to the grocery store. Came home and did more laundry. Watched the LAST race of the year! BOOOOO HOOOOOO

Then I made chicken mushroom quesadillas. Yum. Now I am just lying about. The boys are gaming with Bob downstairs.

Been a CRAZY DAY.. Got home from Church.. Sat down to watch "Night Gallery" and We took off to watch Madagascar 2.. then ran to Sears for a couple of Special deals that began at 6:00

Got a "Blue-Ray" for 179.00 That Best Buy is selling for 299.00
AND We found a Wii..

Thought we did well then I found out that they had only 4 Wii's at the Store at the special price and ONLY 2 "BLUE-RAY'S"


THEN... Sarabeth Did something that just just Made me SO Proud....

She Picked an "Angel" off the Salvation Army Tree.. and she is going to spend HER MONEY on this little girl.

Well Legally that only have to have 1 in order to run the ad. But I did think that stunk.. to have really NONE in the stores and run the ad. Had our movie not let out right at 6:00 and we go over to check it out.. we would NOT have gotten either.

The Sears Employee that went to pick the items up for us( they were being held in a secure location on another floor) had people frothing at the mouth to get the one he had. ​

And the Angel Tree was inside the Main part of the Mall.. she took her sweet time picking out the right Angel too. I explained to her WHY those were on the tree... and she just HAD to go get one.

As a member of The Salvation Army tell Sarabeth that I thank her too. There is not a better to really learn about Christmas than sharing with someone else.

We ALWAYS MAKE DONATIONS... But this time We will be doing both. It is a charity that I believe in and support. And WHEN I go to the grocery store.. I always put something in the kettle... especially when it is SO COLD outside... If I am buying food for my family...I am going to help another family some.
We also write a check out.. and send it. We just got our "ENVELOPE " last week .

Katt - I was 5 miles away from a huge tornado once, no choice. That was close enough for me. It was evil looking!

Last night we ate at a local place, Hunter's Pub. Typical sports-type eatery. Doug had their Fields and Waves (Surf and Turf). I had the Stuffed Steak Tacos with onion rings instead of rice and beans. So I guess we actually had not-so seafood and not-so Mexican! It was good. We split some jalepeno poppers for an appy. Hey Mel! We paid $46 + tip. I think Doug's was overpriced at $19. He also had 3 beers. He hasn't drank that much in a while.

We went to a bar called Chumley's and another called Vault. Both near the college area. I've complained a lot about how much WDW charges for booze. I won't anymore. I had a plain margarita on the rocks - $6.25. A chocolate lovers martini - $7.( This one was so good) And a Bourban-chocolate martini - $8. Plus tips I guess I need to get out more. I did have fun though. We got home at 10:30PM. Doug kept giving me evil looks while we were at the last place. He went to bed and I watched Hellboy II.

Back at work tonight, YAY!

Meh day today. KC worked, that was fine. But as soon as I am about tog et onto the compute the router crapps itself and he spends all night (up to and including during True Blood) on the phone and trying to fix it. Obviously its decent now, but he cant get on Xbox live and that means no games for him. the whole thing put me in a mood. I spent the day doing his chores around the house to be nice because he was going to go to the laundromat and do the laundry and then he was too tired to do that even, and says he will do it tomorrow night.

Anyways i'm going to zone out and read. Night all.

If you saw my remarks.. it's gory but I've seen worse.. it's the suspense that got Scott and I( and that began withing the first 15 or 20 seconds of the movie starting.. so get SOMETHING to chew on... or your manicure is TOAST...

I have MOST of my stuff for Thanksgiving .. Turkey in the freezer...
I'll buy my Last Stuff 1 week from today/




If Your Ornament is already in a "Box"... Bubble wrap it ( the Box).. and put it in a shipping box with Paper or Packing peanuts for cushion.

If Not.. Find the VERY CUSHIONED bubble wrap , Wrap it in several layers , then Box it up.
Those packaging stores charge WAYYYY Too Much
