We have watched the news for the past few days. I have family who's homes were threatened Thursday PM. It is some scary stuff. I feel for them, since they almost lost their home a few years back when Malibu was on fire.

I hope they are ok.

Today is packing day! Last night I got all of my Tinkerbell gifts ready for the kids. I completed their autograph books too!

Yesterday was a busy one. I took Jimmy to get his haircut (school pictures on Thursday) and then we went to Wally World GOt nothing. I don't know why I bother going to that store THen last night we had my nephews 21st birthday party. We wound up not getting home until almost 11:00 LUckily we remembered to Jimmy's PJ's with us so as we were leaving we changed him and he crashed in the car!

I went to the supermarket about 8:00am, cam home and organized the laundry. Now Jim is painting (yes again ) and I am doing laundry . Jimmy has declared pajama day so he is watching Veggie Tales Pirate Movie

T, I've been watching the fires on tv. So scary. I know what you mean about the air quality. When there were fires up I95, we could smell the smoke all the way down here.

It was so weird as I was doing laundry yesterday, I noticed them smell and my eyes tearing, throat itching ... I knew about the fires way north of us, but when I put on the news it showed Brea/Yorba Linda on fire - that's only a few miles from us!

Well I'm home from my Dad's, we had a nice night out although I nearly fainted when my cousin said the taxi home was booked for 1am I also came home with a ton of Emmas clothes, tops, capris, skirts etc so that's saved me tons of money

In Montecito or in Sylmar? Sylmar was total devastation. Today they are looking for human remain. So sad as it is a high senior citizen population.

I'm done with these darn fires! Now it's threatening my favorite mall!!! The air seems the same, but we woke up to a roof and cars covered in ash. The fire is just eating up all the beautiful hills around here.

We're heading out soon - need to get away from this air for awhile and let the kids burn off some steam. Target needs to build a playground or something.

OK, I have to go to the birthday party, but I was really wondering if T was OK. I skipped two pages, but there she is, right above me. Good.

So far, so good with the aunt.

D says yesterday was very, very sad, but also that the investigator was at the funeral and according to the cousin's mom, he said that the case is still "wide open." I take that as encouraging from our side, because if it was obvious via gunshot residue, etc., etc., that the cousin did it, they would be telling us and calling it "closed." Still, yuck.

The mom hired a PI, too.

Anyway... I really do need to go, but wanted to check on T and give that little update. I'll see you when I can!

Hi all. I couldn't post this this morning because I had to occupy my brain. But a tornado possibly passed within 5 miles of my children this morning (they are with my dad this week).

I'm not sure how it hit a town 15 miles to the south and one 10 miles to the north. The report said a house lost a roof in Wilson at a location that was within walking distance for me as a child.

We had some strong wind here around 2AM. All the leaves were blown off my Crepe Myrtle.

Bonnie has been released from the hospital

She is coming over later, I offered to go there, but the dogs can't be in her condo and she is dying to see the boys

Murph and I went to see one my nephews and one niece in a play yesterday, The Best Christmas Pagaent Ever. It was such a cute play, and of course the kids were wonderful.

We got home late so she and Cooper slept over. We then hit the diner for breakfast, I am stuffed. Nothing like Jersey Diner food

Can you believe my Jets are in 1st?!?!?!?!?!? Just going to watch some of the other games today. What's everyone else up to?

Hi I'm back again Sorry didn't reae back since Friday Did I miss anything ?? Well DD just finished painting the girls room .They picked out the colors It looks really good! The house is a 1/2 story so their room has the sloping walls/ceiling, weel on 1 side slope it is purple and the other side electric blue ,then the middle ceiling is white with sponge pattern of both colors , they picked out 2 different color sheers to match , I think it is really cool TWINS and each has their own color scheme . If it sounds weird it isn't it is really cool looking Now they are busy reorganizing their room!!

Well, I got my entire house cleaned and all my laundry done yesterday, so today has been declared a football day at my house! Just finished watching my Colts beat the Texans! It was a good game.

Going to catch up with the Jags vs. Titans game, so I can root against the Titans.

Can you believe my Jets are in 1st?!?!?!?!?!? Just going to watch some of the other games today. What's everyone else up to?

I cheered for your Jets on Thursday, Mo! I like anyone who beats the Pats (sorry, Carrie).

Otherwise, not much going on here. It's cold! I'm ready to go back to Florida for the warmth!
