Oh............BA had a Costume Dance tonite at her middle school.....she wore her kimono from Epcot and was SO cute! She said everyone really liked it and were very impressed when she told them it came from Japan. :rolleyes: (well, it did ORIGINALLY!) :lmao:

Daran and I had a nice dinner out during her 2 hour middle school dance!:thumbsup2

Sweeeeet! We'll I doubt I have anything going on either day, so when you firm up your plans, which should be soon (ahem ;)) we can pick a day to meet up. There's a great bar right smack in the middle of DTD, perfect for an afternoon cocktail. ;)

Oh and right next to HoJo's is Mimi's Cafe - they have a nice breakfast.

Well, since we have limited time at DL, we were planning to have a late dinner after the parks close on Thursday night. I was thinking of doing either House of Blues or Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen at DTD. Any opinions??

Not sure where we might eat on Friday, but it will probably be quick stuff. Don't want to waste ride time on food, kwim??

My stupid dog ran away again today. I searched for him for at least 30 minutes before he just came home. I was so mad! :mad: I told DH that he absolutely needs to get the invisible fence that he bought two years ago installed now! :mad:

My dog's a runner, I feel your pain.

Hi Fockers This is a sad day One of my consumers (37) is in ICU and not going to make it ! I was at the hospital with her parents and it just tore me up to see them !! We think it was a clot as it happened sooo fast!!

Oh, Rosie, I'm so sorry. :hug:

We are up for a while. Toon Disney has a Power Rangers Jungle Fury Marathon on. I pulled out the travel bed, turned out the lights, and am hoping Jimmy crashes before it is over!

You know, despite my two Power Rangers at Halloween, I managed to never remember to record it since we got the new DVR for the HDTV... :rolleyes1 I honestly haven't watched it in months. :cool1:

Nice!

How'd it get to be 11:00? :confused3

Dang.

Sleep well everyone!

So I'm thinking of upgrading to AKL as a surprise for my mom. :scratchin I would just have to keep it a secret for 6 months. :lmao:

DON'T pack until a night or 2 before you go! Honest Jo, Dec. is wacky in FL - it could be 80 and sunny, or it could be 40 and rainy. Chances are it'll be somewhere in between, but I always recommend Dec. travelers wait and check the forecast right before leaving. I also recommend bringing some cold weather gear no matter the forecast; all it takes is a rogue cold front dipping down to send night temps into the 20s or 30s. It's not often, but it happens. But bring a swimsuit, too, because you could also get a rogue warm front!
OK :rotfl2: I was going to pack some shorts, capris (which I need more of!!!!) and pants just incase :rotfl2: But remember I'm English as soon as the sun shines I'm in shorts :rotfl2:

Josie got sick after the ride and started heaving. Mr Diz was making fun of her.
Oh no poor thing!

Don't listen to Jo - she'll have you walking all over the darn place! :rotfl2:
Would I :rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

Tutto Italia or Teppan Edo (it's up to K) (D)

1900 (D)- where is the Grand Floridian- monorail route? :confused3

I ended up with Ohana twice. One's breakfast and one's dinner.
MHO we loved TeppanEdo our favourite meal of the trip, as others have said 1900 is at GF which is on the monorail or you could get the boat. We weren't impressed with our Ohana brekkie, the characters were very slow and the food was just OK, as others have said go to Kona!

What a pain, glad he came back eventually :hug:

I'm sorry Rosie :hug:

Jo......course she gets a FREE trip!:snooty:
(I told Daran and BA all about the Moms Panel, and they were extrememly impressed and both said "WHY DIDN"T YOU APPLY???" )
Next year :thumbsup2

Oh............BA had a Costume Dance tonite at her middle school.....she wore her kimono from Epcot and was SO cute! She said everyone really liked it and were very impressed when she told them it came from Japan. :rolleyes: (well, it did ORIGINALLY!)
Sounds sweet and how funny :rotfl2:

Oooooh can you do it???? :rotfl2:

I know you'll think I'm mad but I'm worried the other 15 panelists won't like me :sad2: That's stupid isn't it!!!!!!

You are mad, Jo! Why wouldn't they love you just as much as we do??? :hug: :hug: :hug:
Thanks Jodi :hug: I know I'm being silly!!!!

I'm listening to a podcats on netcot that Bret from the Disney Moms and he's just announced that all 12 will be taking it in turns to help the 2009 panel so that's great, also they went to loads of press events like the opening of TSM etc :yay:

Being a pain again but I've just found out that as long as it's available I can choose what hotel I want, Bret who's in the 2008 panel is staying at GF for his trip :yay:

Good Morning all. Just a quick drive by. I have to go clean out the hall closet so Jim can finish painting. THen Jimmy and I are headed out see Blue's Clues Live on Stage.

Thanks for not chatting so much last night, it was so much easier to catch up.

TE - apply next year for the mom's panel.

Jo - Wahoo the GF...When do you get that trip or don't you know yet?

T - I haven't approached the cash machine yet about the cost difference :rolleyes1

Thanks Jodi :hug: I know I'm being silly!!!!

Wow! That's really neat! I logged onto their site last nite and it's really neat! Looks like no one is from the UK this year.And you can type questions for them to answer! So, Fockers---we can ask Jo questions all the time! Do you think they have to be Disney related???? :lmao:

Do it! Do it!!!

When do you book?
Do they arrange your flight? Or--hey--tell them you want to take a trans Atlantic Disney cruise so you can answer questions about that too! :cool1:

Hey, girls. I had a fever and got sick again last night. :guilty: Good thing I have this trip, or I'd be depressed.

Oh, I don't think I told you I went back to see the doctor yesterday and he gave me a medicine to open up my airways and an antibiotic, finally. So, I'm hoping that will knock out what keeps making me run a fever at night. :headache:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Jo- The other panelists are absolutely going to love you! Don't worry at all, okay? :hug: If they start to look at you crazy, just say, "But I'm British- Pip pip." and they'll smile again. ;) :rotfl: How cool about the resort choice too!
Janet- have fun! :goodvibes
That's awesome Jo!
I know :yay:
It's nice here mostly every day. It's supposed to be 81 today. It's 47 right now and sunny. :goodvibes
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have to go get dressed. Which I don't want to, but my car's due an oil change and tune up every 3000 mi and Kirt wants to drop it off today. I'm only going to drive over and pick him up after he's done dropping it, though. No one should see me. But, the kids don't appreciate it when I waddle around with no bra on. :confused3 ;)

So I'm thinking of upgrading to AKL as a surprise for my mom. :scratchin I would just have to keep it a secret for 6 months. :lmao:

UGH... It's actually ON my spread sheet... I'm dying here... I am just too practical. I keep telling myself... stay in the Values.. and get the dining practically free( Focker fuzzy math at work here.. MY FIRST TIME USING FFMath) as the 3 free days is a credit towards eating.

Or upgrade to a Moderate for the FIRST TIME.. for $245 more.. which is like a free upgrade from normal vacations.. with money left over... towards dining.. just not as much, so might just skip that.

But.. I could back track to ASMu get the suites and Scott and I FINALLY share a bed on Vacation and put the kids in the other room in their own separate beds..
More expensive than the Mods by $365.00 But the only one taking my space in the bed is Scott. And I can easily kick him to HIS SIDE...:rotfl2: Been doing that for almost 22 years.

Or I could totally SPLURGE.. ( as far as I am concerned) stay at AKL get the Bunk beds there for Only $265.00 more than the ASMu suites.. and probably have great atmosphere.

From cheapest to Most expensive options that I have looked at there is $875.00 difference cheapest ASMu( non-suite) or Pop to AKL.

SO I'm now asking myself.. what can I SLICE to the Bone here for 7 months so I could have an AKL... then I feel Bad.. Disney is Disney. I am there.. it's just a room for sleeping. Sure a Nicer Pool area would be great.....

AAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGG

What should I do:guilty:
uh.........wow ladies...........I think you've all out-talked yourselves in the last 24 hours! How many pages?? Janet--do we have a record? Wait---do we HAVE an official record keeper????
Volunteers? :lmao:
I know there was 10 pages of Nothing.. except Drunken Spanish Gibberish... BTW.. did you notice ... S'late is the Number One Poster at the Moment??? all because of "THAT LONG EVENING" :lmao: :lmao:
Focker Warning Alert----Readers of thread subject to being bitten by Disney Planning Bug........no preventative measures known, only cure is booked trip. Continue to read at own risk.

So.......who's planning trips??
I saw Dawn---and I recommend Cali Grill if you need a 2 TS.
Les Chefs for 1. But remember my crew likes fine dining.

So Where's your Trip Planning TE... :rolleyes1
It's definitely addicting.. EVEN DAWN BOOKED:scared1: and because she booked.. I started looking into options.. and have two summer trips in "plans"
That Dawn is bad ....:sad2: ;) :lovestruc

It really is addicting.. One starts talking about going.. then two more... then next thing you know.. we all have something we are working on. It's Mind control I tell you... Brainwashing..... M U S T .... Break .... Free.....
MUST ... Not ... Be... Weak......

SAVE YOURSELVES....

:rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

. But, the kids don't appreciate it when I waddle around with no bra on. :confused3 ;)

Shoot... My kids had to get used to that LOOOOOONG time ago.... Unless the "puppies" are going to have strangers around them ... they like to ... well "Queen" sang it Best...

I want to break free
I want to break free

I want to break free from your lies ( and we all know bras LIE)
You're so self satisfied I don't need you

[I know there was 10 pages of Nothing.. except Drunken Spanish Gibberish... BTW.. did you notice ... S'late is the Number One Poster at the Moment??? all because of "THAT LONG EVENING" :lmao: :lmao:

Zut Alors! :eek: :rotfl2:

We're booked for 6/4-6/11. I spoke to our TA this morning, and she was able to apply the 4 for 3 deal. $1,100 off our prior package price. :woohoo: It's still pretty pricey with one of the kids bumping over to adult pricing for the meal plan and tickets.
I'm going to try to sway you to go the following week since I'm there. Did you know that the first week of June is always Gay Days? You might have some explaining to do with the kids. We went last year during Gay Days. We didn't have any issues, but just sayin' - might want to go the next week with my family.:goodvibes
I know you'll think I'm mad but I'm worried the other 15 panelists won't like me :sad2: That's stupid isn't it!!!!!!
What is there not to like?:confused3
Oh - and that phrase you used - don't know what it means, but it sounds kind of dirty, so I won't even quote it.
Being a pain again but I've just found out that as long as it's available I can choose what hotel I want, Bret who's in the 2008 panel is staying at GF for his trip :yay:

Here's a hug for you!:hug:

-------------------------------------------------------

Janet - I like POR and POFQ. I like that FQ is small. When we stayed there, we were in the building across from the food court. We loved eating the beignets. At POR, we like staying in the mansions.

Dawn - I'm going to agree with others on O'hana for breakfast. It is just okay for breakfast, unless you are going for the characters. I would eat at Kona. I also love the breakfast at Boatwrights at POR, but that probably isn't convenient for you to get there. They have this great French Toast and yummy sweet potato pancakes.
