Our anniversary is Jan 4 and Mr Diz really wants the Boba Fett helmet at DHS. He was going to buy it, but decided that it was too bulky to take on the plane.

It is a bulky item to be carrying around, but if anyone is going to DHS anytime soon and be willing to purchase it for me and ship it to me I would totally love you. (Not that I don't love all of you already.) I would reimburse everything through paypal.

just unwinding after night at work. i got someone to work for me tonight!! woo whoo. we're taking mike's parents to dinner for helping me with the house this week!! we're going to texas roadhouse, cuz his dad loves steak. should be fun!!

oh and all the planning makes me so excited!! i'm booked already! have to wait for the end of my tr to find out the mystery resort that we fell in love with!!! at the rate i'm going with my tr, it will probably be the week before we leavin in sept!!

So, I guess I was trying hard to find a few more TS and I ended up with Ohana twice. One's breakfast and one's dinner. I just wanted a nice breakfast before we leave. We don't have hoppers, so that plays a factor. I also tried not make Kirt eat steak too many meals in a row.
I'm not super happy with it, but I don't know where to eat with the third TS at Epcot.

We went once and loved it. Gary Sinese was the narrator the night we went. Did you look into the Processional Package so you dont' have to wait in line for hours. You and Mitch could have a nice dinner and then go!

Good morning ladies! I made apple pancakes for breakfast and a big pot of coffee. We're hanging out for a bit. Gus has a quick lesson with a new drum guy today at noon, so nothing else to do till then.

SD and Bob were going to rake leaves but it's alternately raining and snowing out there right now! Blech!

We watched two movies last night. One was The Happening with Mark Wahlberg. Awful! Really Really Awful.
The other was The Man Who Knew Too Much with Jimmie Stewart and Doris Day. It was bad too.

Tomorrow we are seeing Madagascar, hope that is good!

I am so excited about all of your trips! I have to get my butt in gear and plan our January trip. It's about 2 months out, so I need to make some ADR's. I am thinking of doing dinner at Chef Mickey's (never done that...) and one dinner at Flying Fish. The hard thing is that we have SD's friend coming along and he is PICKY PICKY PICKY. I don't want to spend $25 for a meal he won't eat. (It infuriates me when kids like that ORDER something and then push it around on their plates.....if you are that picky, DON'T order!!!!) Anyhow, I'll decide this week and make the ressies. Maybe we'll do it just with Gus. He's the seafood lover anyway!

Dawn - I'm going to agree with others on O'hana for breakfast. It is just okay for breakfast, unless you are going for the characters. I would eat at Kona. I also love the breakfast at Boatwrights at POR, but that probably isn't convenient for you to get there. They have this great French Toast and yummy sweet potato pancakes.

That's where we ate on our departing morning in January, but we were staying there. It was yummy!

Why are Saturdays so miserable weather wise at the moment

You know, I actually heard about this on NPR (National Public Radio). It's true! Weekends are worse, statistically, and they think it's because of all the exhaust from autos building up during the weekly commutes. That's why Mondays are often nice, too - the "less driving over the weekend" makes it better again.

I have to go get dressed. Which I don't want to, but my car's due an oil change and tune up every 3000 mi and Kirt wants to drop it off today. I'm only going to drive over and pick him up after he's done dropping it, though. No one should see me. But, the kids don't appreciate it when I waddle around with no bra on.

Thankfully I don't have girls - I don't think the boys notice at all. Maybe when they're older, but...

I don't know anything much new. The boys are going to this gymnastic things tonight, but I don't know what I'm doing yet. D's home in the afternoon tomorrow.

I need to do some house cleaning. I've been lax this week, and so my counters need a clear and a wash down, and it's time to dust and vacuum, too. Should have done it during some school time, but oh well.

So, I am going to do that before I sink into the couch and won't get up again.

Well, since we have limited time at DL, we were planning to have a late dinner after the parks close on Thursday night. I was thinking of doing either House of Blues or Ralph Brennan's Jazz Kitchen at DTD. Any opinions??

Jazz Kitchen is my favorite DTD eatery. HOWEVER, their service is subpar - keep that in mind. ESPN has a decent menu, and quick service. If you want fine dining go with Catal. Naples is a nice Italian place and Tortilla Joe's is yummy, but pricey. HoB is Ok - their food doesn't make up for bad service, but Jazz Kitchen's does.

New drum instructor was AWESOME! Gus loves him! Yay!

Gotta run in a minute. We got McD's Happy Meals for lunch just for the Madagascar toys! We got Melman and Alex. So cute!

We're going to look at a used mini-van for the boy. He gets his license in February and Bob found one that looks like it would work pretty well for our purposes. Although, I want to turn in my truck in Feb. (the lease is up- NO more $600 per mo. pmts!!!) and drive something used, I don't know if he'll go along with that. He's worried that I'll break down or something when he's out of town.

That way we could get something newer (and safer) for SD. That makes sense to me (and makes my poor Momma heart feel better) but I don't know if Bob will go along with that!
