Nite T2!

I don't think we'll make it out in Jan Jodi. Since we're going to WDW in March now. :woohoo:

I am making my ADR's this weekend!!!

I'm here. I had to give my $.02 without losing it over on the budget board. There's a thread about tipping the mail, trash, and newspaper person. I was a paper carrier for 3 years so I get a little touchy. Some don't seem to view home delivery of the paper as a service....at a discount I might add. I try really hard to bite my tongue because I really laid into someone one time..so much that she quit our local twins club. I didn't mean to, she just said that she didn't think the paperboy was worth tipping. I told her that she could drag her a$$ to a paper machine every f-ing morning even in the snow or tropical storm and get her own d@mn paper and that our local paper doesn't hire anyone under 21 and that she never knows who is delivering the paper...could be another twin mom.

Awesome! I want to go back, but have no idea when we can go again. Next fall, DH starts his five semester paramedic school (he's taking pre-reqs right now) and he'll have class two nights per week. Plus, he'll have classes during the summer too. So, it looks like we'd have to go during his school breaks, which are not going to be at great times. I've been debating taking each girl separately, but haven't even mentioned that to DH yet. Not sure if he would go for it or not.:rolleyes1

I tip everyone. This is the way I look at it...these people are providing a necessary service. One that I have chosen to take advantage of...whatever that may be. If someone provides a service for me or my family...they deserve to be compensated. Period. People in the service industry are vital to our communities. If we expect them to be there...we need to treat them accordingly. JMO.

Luckily...Jon gets to go every time. That's the benefit of being an only. :rotfl2:

True. Fortunately for me, my girls are only 3 years apart in age and are really into the same things. So, we really aren't pulled in opposite directions when it comes to what to ride, who to see, where to eat. My good friend has two boys (ages 7 and 10) and a girl aged 5. She and her husband have to split up a lot because the boys don't want to wait in line to meet the princesses with their sister!

Well I played OK, won 50p but also lost 50p to someone else so ended up all square I played with 2 friends Val and Cathy. We just did a 40 minute walk around where we live as we didn't have time to go any further!

Gotcha! And that's pence, not pounds, right? ;)

I hope they reach a verdict soon

Thanks, the funeral is tomorrow, but we still don't know anything.

OMG I used to have a similar dream when I worked at Blockbuster. Except I didn't have to beat a game thingy. Everyone else would just not be working and I was the only one working and people kept coming in.

Don't you hate that?

So I called Disney and they said I could use the pin!!!

Awesome!

It's easy to find it for $1.85.. I have seen $1.77
Never thought I would see gas again with a "1" in front of it.

Wow, that's good. We're still in the low 2.20's.

Gas - $2.27 is the cheapest I have seen here.

Yep, we're about the same or maybe 4 cents less.

:rotfl2: on the dream. The toothless struck me funny. I've had that one before.

Pshew, so several of us had, I'm not nuts.

My grandmother was like your aunt, extremely opinionated. I just ignored her when she got on one of those jags. There was no arguing with her.

I know, but for 5 days... :sad2: ;)

Hey you talk all you want. It is almost like he was either a good actor or something made him turn a 180.

I know drugs can make anything possible, but unlike my meth-lab running cousin, he hasn't been in and out of rehab or jail, so we sure weren't aware of a problem. Sigh. That's the only thing I can think of. Well, and about 10 other questions that come from watching too much CSI, like, they were found in a bed, but were they both shot there? Because if they were fighting, it would be weird to for her to stay and go to sleep and then he shoots her. But if she was moved there and he WAS shot in the bed... It's all just too many unknowns at this point, but then they HAVE released the body... :confused3

live from jury duty...and this olddddd public use pc.... so far nada zip zilch. I have sat and sat and sat some more. I only have to be here until 5pm so here's hoping thats it for me. The clerk told me to let them know about my back and my dr's note when i go in for questions.

So, what happened?

Other than that...nada por la weekend. (spanglish is a weakness of mine ;))

works for me

OMG I didn't realise you didn't know what a conker was It's a school playground game where you try and smash each others conkers off of the string, lots of rapped knuckles Due to health and safety they have now banned it /quote]

What did you think we were asking??? LY/MI!

I think he's kind of hot.

Me, too.

bought the kids the cutest jammies! Oh and Evan some train underwear.

The mall is all decked out in Christmas crap. I'm just not into it. I see all this stuff and it makes me crabby that they're pushing Christmas already. Bah Humbug! :lmao:

I know, it makes me cranky that I am forced to break my "no Christmas music until Black Friday" by no fault of my own. :headache:

OK, ladies. I don't speak a lick of Spanish, so let's try to keep it to english tonight, okay? Or else I'll have to break out my German!

Well... Last time, I mixed Spanish, French, & Italian, so why not some German?

The floors dont need to be mopped and vacuumed 2 or 3 times a day:rotfl2: (IMHO they do) and the closets dont need to be reorganized weekly. Im crazy what can I say
Off to Hockey AGAIN

Oh, dear god. You can never, ever come to my house. I love you, but no.

When I worked at Friendly's I had this recurring dream that I forgot to bring a table their coffee, or their food. I'd have it over and over! Even years later I would have those dreams....UGH!

I know, it's been 12 years, you'd think I'd be done with them.

You don't have Red Lobster? :confused3

Honey, I love you, but Red Lobster isn't real seafood. ;) (not that I knew better until I moved to a coast.)

I think I nuked a slug in the microwave.

That's OK, I just pulled a green bug out of my mouth - from my wine glass. I'm not kidding. And I just noticed that he's still moving.

Ok Im not THAT crazy really(please believe me:rotfl2: )but after eating I just give a quick vacuum and mop with a wet swiffer . I HATE CRUMBS!!! We dont wear shoes in the house and I hate the feeling of stepping on something
I just do dining room and kitchen more than once the other floors in the house get done just ONCE at day:goodvibes

Yep, nope, still not ever invited to my house... ;)

We are both feeling much better...thanks for asking. :goodvibes

Oh...almost forgot to update.

bully is back in school. the security guard has been assigned to be his one-on-one aid. For now. Apparently...the guy with the tazer does the trick. :rolleyes1

Bizarre.

Disneyland...I keep contemplating taking a few days and heading out...but I'm afraid it won't measure up. :confused3

I haven't been since they added DCA, but I :lovestruc DLR compared to MK. Matterhorn, much better POTC and Space Mtn., Indiana Jones... But yeah, you wouldn't need more than a couple of days. You should try it, though.

That was certainly one thing my scary aunt was good for - lots and lots of DLR from age 8 to age 26. :thumbsup2

Quick CE! Throw that bad boy in the nuker and fry him up!

Jodi...are you and T going to be able to meet up???

Disneyland...I keep contemplating taking a few days and heading out...but I'm afraid it won't measure up. :confused3
DLR is MUCH different a tiny in comparison... but the finishing touches there are incredible. You can feel the difference, KWIM? You should try to visit at least once.
I think we're planning to meet. It just depends on whether she can get away while we're there. We'll only be there part of two days, so it's not a huge time period. We'll be there in the afternoon/evening of Thursday, Jan 22nd and during the day on Friday the 23rd. We're planning on driving back to San Diego after the parks close on Friday. I wish we could stay for Saturday, but Dh is in charge of the big dinner on Saturday night and wants to be in San Diego on Saturday just to make sure everything is good.

You should come, Jen! I'd love to meet you too!
Oh yeah, we're meeting - as long as I can find you, it's on, sister! :thumbsup2

We're home from the science fair and I need a hot bath. I'll probably watch some of my Thursday shows when I get out. Have fun chatting. :cutie:
Hey honey, get some rest. :goodvibes

Wow, S'late. Thanks. I never thought about the newspaper lady ... :worship: I'll be sure to give her one this year! :goodvibes

I thought about that and even brought it up to Maddie and she doesn't want to do a girls only trip. Crazy child.

HI JODI, CE, GLUV, S'LATE, DAWN AND T2!!

Hey! Where's Janet?? :confused3

Allors.

Tengo mi vino, tengo la Ciudad Verde... Estoy preparado!

No idea what this said. Except for "vino". I know you're talking about wine! I'm about in need of a refill of mine!

You'll be able to find me, T. I'm a texting fool! A few days before we left for Ip-Dip, I got a new phone and I finally learned the fine art of texting. Now, I do it constantly. I've been texting Tracy (MrsK) every day to make sure she's having a great time in WDW.

HI JODI, CE, GLUV, S'LATE, DAWN AND T2!!

Hey! Where's Janet?? :confused3

Did Janet say she'd be here? I thought Mel was supposed to drop by as well!
