Anyway, his mood was listed as "bueno", his influences as God and his family, and stuff he loved included his band and snowboarding, but also volunteer work and using his money to make a difference. (His dad was very wealthy when he passed away, and he's been successful himself.)

That certainly sounds like someone who has his head on right. :) Feel free to vent all you want. In such a strange situation, what else can you do? :hug:

Hiya everyone
Boy it has been a while

QUESTION FOR EVERYONE (if you dont mind)
How do you all have time to DIS??
I only have 2 kids and 1 is in school full time but I NEVER have anytime to myself. I feel like I am constantly cleaning,cooking,running errands or playing taxi shuffling kids here and there.Not to mention homework and projects,sports when Happy is home from school. I AM JEALOUS of you all.;)
WHen the kids finally are in bed I take that time for P and I to just catch up.

ANYWAY sorry, but curious

Shhhh. Don't tell, but I do most of my Dising at work
sneaky.gif

For me it is a question of priority :confused3 Dirty house, dirty dishes, dirty laundry or DIS?

DIS WINS everytime :lmao:

:rotfl2:

Aww, we could use a Focker baby. ;)

Are you olunteering to provide one:confused: ;)

So, I didn't do much today. Cleaned my house, worked out at the Y, got pulled over by the police in front of my DD7's school....

:eek: You're lucky...that could have been one hefty ticket!

Thanks for letting me work this out via venting or thinking "out loud" or whatever.

That's what we are here for CE:hug: Don't ever apoligize!

So, I didn't do much today. Cleaned my house, worked out at the Y, got pulled over by the police in front of my DD7's school....

Yep, you read it right. I got pulled over for speeding in a school zone!!!!! :headache: Luckily, the cop was feeling friendly and let me go with a warning! I was in a hurry to pick up DD4 at her friend's house and get home in time for DD7 to get off the bus! I was probably going no faster than 35 mph, but of course the limit is 25 right in front of the school. He gave me a stern "SLOW DOWN!!!!" Let me just say that on my way back to the house after picking up DD4, I drove about 18 mph past the school. :rolleyes1
!

:eek: Wow you got lucky Jodi. The school zones here are 15 mph, they're 25 over there? :confused:

That's right. Jim Kelly was on the radio Tuesday talking about how his jersey will be hung in the Orange Bowl. I love him.

::yes:: They were inducting quite a few players, but they now play in Dolphin Stadium as they tore down the Orange Bowl last year. :guilty: :sad2:

Oooh. I think I gotta pull for Miami on this one....I think a Miami win is better for my team.

They're tied at the half!
:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So guess what I got in the mail today??
A Disney PIN!!!!!!! :yay: :yay: :yay:
BUT!
It's not for me!!! :headache: :mad: :sad2: :furious: :headache:
If any of you have read my trip report, the pin came for my friend Yani's boyfriend (now ex-bf though). UGH!!!
I know this happened to Kat and she was able to use it, so I'm gonna see if I can do the same thing. Although it says "non-transferable", so they might not let me. :sad:
Hi all,
I'm only going back to this morning. So, if I missed responding to someone, I apologize now. :guilty: :flower3: If I tried to jump back to where I almost caught up yesterday, I'd end the evening still several pages behind. :)
Shoot! I forgot that we have to go to the crazies house tonight for supper.
Good luck with this! Hopefully, by now, you've already survived. :hug:
Is that anything like More Cowbell? Je ne comprends pas. Je ne parle pas l'espagnol. Mais, j'aime le vin!
What's with the French? I thought this was a Spanish channel. :happytv:
In other news, I registered for next semester, which begins the final leg of my race for the finish line!!! :woohoo: Dance Across World Cultures and History of Western Architecture. Which translates into don't hold your breath thinking I'll ever finish my stupid TR! :rotfl:
:thumbsup2 Good luck, and remember to have fun when you can. I remember the lack of time (and sleep) when I was working full time, finishing up school part time, and running home to play with DD11 who was still under two at the time.
I'm trying not to take my meds today. Well see how that goes. :confused3
We're getting school done, then the house tidied up. My MIL is coming over at 3:30 to watch the kids so K and I can go to a Rockapella concert in Austin. It's his bday present. :cutie:
Good luck without the meds! Have fun at the concert! :hippie:
Golf for me today, it was a singles knockout match and I lost, it was a very close match though :thumbsup2 I then hit the supermarket and have finally sat down for the first time today, playing golf in the cold sure tires me out more than in the heat!
Sorry to hear you lost the match. Sounds like a long day... I saw the post on the Mom's panel training. That is just so cool! :cool1: I hope you have a blast!
When I was talking with Jodi on Tuesday SHE GOT ONE..
THOSE #%$@$#@%$ Disney People need to give me a Code.. I have been waiting for one for 2 years... "Codes to the Left of Me Codes to the right here I am Suck in the Middle with".... NO -THING...:mad: AGAIN:mad:
I'm feeling your pain. For years, we never got a code. We finally got one last year, and we couldn't use it.:confused3
Tomorrow I have jury duty. OY VEY!!! Everyone send some wishes that when i call tonight i don't have to go tomorrow!
Uggh! Jury duty is always a big waste of time for me. If I actually had a chance at being on a juty, it would be different. I go. I sit. I get into the courtroom, and one side or both don't want me. It's happened the last three times I've gone for jury duty.
Here's some pixiedust: your way for luck with your call.
I'm off to make coffee for the first time in like 4 days since i have been sick!
VIVA LA CAFFEINE!
Wow! 4 days without caffeine, and I'd have the worst withdrawal headache. :surfweb:
Eye is giving me some trouble today. Probably my stupid raking, but I did call the Dr. He said to come in tomorrow at 12:30. Bob is all P.0.'d over it, but he will forgive me. He called to tell me that he's now going to Alabama for two days on Tuesday and then coming home and leaving on Thurs. for Japan. I'm REALLY unhappy about that. I can't do anything about it though. This job is really starting to get to me. I know I should be thankful that he HAS a great job but I don't like all this travel. :guilty:
Hey Mel - Sorry to hear about the eye problems. I can totally appreciate the travel situation. I had a job like that about four years back. I made platinum status with the airline within the first three months of the year. It got so bad that Mrs. T actually met me at the airport with the kids for dinner as I was passing back through Atlanta on my way somewhere else.
Hopefully, Bob will get a chance to see something of Japan. On my one trip there, I saw three hotels, the inside of two trains (a little scenery out the windows), a factory, and Disney Tokyo (ONLY from the air while flying over it).
==================================
Well, I've caught up to around mid-day today at least. I'll try to get the rest of the way in a little bit. The kids are all in bed, and at least one of them is asleep. Mrs. T just got back from dinner out with a friend, so I'm off to catch up with her on her day.
::yes:: They were inducting quite a few players, but they now play in Dolphin Stadium as they tore down the Orange Bowl last year. :guilty: :sad2:
I knew that! :rolleyes:
I know this happened to Kat and she was able to use it, so I'm gonna see if I can do the same thing. Although it says "non-transferable", so they might not let me. :sad:
Oh, I hope you can! :cool1:
That's right. Jim Kelly was on the radio Tuesday talking about how his jersey will be hung in the Orange Bowl. I love him. :lovestruc
This is so weird, Angela. I think we must be separated at birth because I love Jim Kelly too!
:rotfl:I thought I wanted to get Mitch an XBox/ Wii whatever, but maybe not!
It all depends on how much you want to see of him... :rotfl: :rotfl:
You're lucky he let you off with just a warning. Several of the school buses here stop on 4/6 lane roads with no medians, and the police are very strict if you don't stop going both ways.
Well, school was not out yet, so there were no kids in the area. The busses were all in the parking lot waiting for kids to be dismissed. Plus, in our school system all kids have to take the bus or get picked up by mom or dad. There are no walkers allowed (unless mom comes and walks with you). I think that's why our school zones are 25 mph instead of 15mph.
Shhhh. Don't tell, but I do most of my Dising at work
sneaky.gif
Oooooh! I'm telling!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
:eek: You're lucky...that could have been one hefty ticket!
Don't I know it! The policeman said it was $227! Glad I didn't have to pay that one! Christmas would have been a lot less merry!
Been a long day !! Started at 6 am and just got home !! No time to catch up!! So Hugs to all who need them and will chat tomorrow!!
I think I'm off to take a bubble bath. :hippie:
Mel, my DH has been playing pretty much since he walked in the door from work. He contemplated getting it at midnight last night, as a bunch of stores were actually open for the release. But, he decided that he had to go to work today and if he would have gotten it last night, he would have stayed up all night playing. So, instead, he's going to be playing all night tonight.
Yeah, the boys played non-stop since we got done with dinner. SD was a good boy and played his guitar though, so I was pleased! They are so good most of the time that it's hard to be mad about the gaming.
NotBob is only a level 39 though, so he couldn't get the new game! :confused3
Thanks Mr. T! I used to BE Mrs. T!!! We had a life like that when our DS15 was 2 yrs old. He set the record for most weeks on the road (that's 48 weeks out of 52 BTW...) in his company. BUT, we haven't had to live this life for a while and I'm out of practice. Add the eye into the mix and well, I'm just whining.
Thanks for the kind words though. Bob will be really happy if he gets to see something this time. Last time he went he said he saw the same stuff you did! :)
******************
Bob's reading his new HomePower magazine. (he keeps threatening to "Go off the Grid") I can't decide whether to watch tv with him or read some more DIS. We have some movies DVR'd. I ended up talking to my BFF in CT while they gamed. I guess the hot guys on Supernatural will have to wait, Z. (Pst, don't tell Yani!!!)
Poor Gus has a tract infection. :scared1: He's up going again! Poor baby!
MEL:banana:
I just had 2 calls from WDW, it's still so surreal that I'm now getting calls and e-mails from Disney :faint:
I only get calls from Nordstrom and CJ Banks whenever they want to tell me about a good sale. My mil says I am the only person she knows who has stores calling to inform about sales. :lmao:
I'm am headed to VA Beach tomorrow to chaperone BA's drama competition----24 middle schoolers for 2 nites! :eek:
(Mom says I need to pack extra meds for me and them!)
That sounds fun!
Kristel - stay away from the CRAZIES!
I'm just a few stomach flus away from getting into a size 4...I hope.
I wish I had that problem
So...
I gave my two week's notice at my job today. I'm starting a new job in December. :surfweb: :surfweb:
Congrats, Hedy!
Thank you, I did, but I had a weird dream. Then I dreamt that one of my teeth fell out. That's kind of a recurring thing for me. I don't get it.
I have a dream where I am in college and can't remember my schedule. I also have naked in public dreams.
When I was a teenager, I had the same nightmare pretty frequently and it stopped when I left home for college. When I would go back home, I would sometimes have that dream again. Wierd.
CE: In case you're still curious: DREAMS ABOUT TEETH
Though, most of it sounds a bit ... weird.
Except for the powerlessness thing. You were getting hit by big waves, that would make you feel powerless....:confused3
Good luck!
MEL:banana:
Holy cannoli, Jo! I looked up your chocolates and Amazon sales a 6 pack of the Quality ones for $89.:scared1: I found the roses for $35. They both say they are from England.
Off to bed now. I swiped one of Mr Diz's left over pain killers to get rid of my cramps and they are starting to kick in.
Thanks for all the comments about Mr Diz and his upcoming surgery.
Well, Mrs. T and I have caught up on our respective days, but so much for catching up on the thread. Mrs. T asleep on the couch next to me, so we'll be turning into pumpkins pretty soon.
Miz Diz- :scared: I pray and hope all is well with Mr. Diz and that the surgery is successful.
T- The brownie troop leader position is a lot of work. I saw Mrs. T work at it with DD11's troop for the last several years. I think it's gotten a little easier at this point since the girls are planning and leading many of the meetings now.
Hedy- Congrats and good luck on the new position. :thumbsup2
I'm sure I missed some posts in my rush through, so I giving out some :hug: :hug: :hug: and some pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: for all who need them. Good night all! :wave:
