Mel~ I am glad your eye pressure is down. That is one fast moving Doc:eek:

Jodi~ Have fun cleaning. I am luck I go somewhere else at Turket time, but Christmas is all me. I want to paint my whole house but I know I won't have time.

Jen~ I am sending Jon healing and positive energy. I am so sorry to hear about his complications. Nothing helps more than an amazing Mom and he has that in spades.

Janet~ Have fun replacing Crocky the Pot. Every ladies best friend. I can make any meat gelatinous in the contraption. Lucky Mr. The King. He tells me he can eat the meals I make in there with a straw. I tell him I am practicing for when we are old and have no teeth.

Z~ A Madonna volunteer! Please tell us all about that when you get back!

Last week my friend with ALS attempted suicide. I am so angry at her. And I am so sad for her. She was texting me the night before and had mentioned it, but I did not think she was serious. She tricked a caregiver into opening her pills for her and took them when no one was looking. After 2 days in ICU and one in the regular room she came home. I feel like I have not processed it yet. I almost don't want to. Is that selfish of me? Just to put it all on the back burner?

Sorry to vent. I hope everyone has an amazing Turkey day.

OMWord. Deb.

I have had people in my life attempt suicide as well. And I always felt the same way.

It's normal to be angry, confused, all of the above.

Sending good thoughts toward all of you. May she find peace in her struggles.

Does it require eggs and stuff? :scared1:

Usually 1 egg
3 teaspoons of oil
and a little water

Can you ladies handle it ??

See, if Kat can do it, so can I :snooty:
You Can DO IT JANET !!!!

I had to share though, Jimmy came home from school all excited becasue he got pick something from the teachers "prize box". When I asked him why he told me it was becasue he got up infront of the class and told everyone about his science project. Because it was not mandatory, only Jimmy and one other kid in the class did one. (It isn't mandatory K-3, but once he its 4th grade it will be mandatory!). I was so happy:yay:

Yeah Jimmy :woohoo:

I can't imagine being in her position but she must feel pretty desperate to get to that point. A friend of mine committed suicide, and at the funeral the minister was saying that sometimes here is not the best place to be. Unfortunately, I think that is true for some people.

JUst the sound of this is making me

The grandmas are hanging in there! No one has gotten hurt yet! LOL.

Just keep Gus and SD out of the line of fire;)

HOpe you guys are having a good day.

You too Mel:goodvibes

Janet, whoops about the crock pot but at least you'll find a new one for a bargain price!

That's the plan.:thumbsup2

So DH and I were sitting on the couch last night when I heard a strange noise in the kitchen. It was like a ticking noise. He dishwasher has been acting funky, so I got up to see what was going on. It was water dripping from the ceiling :scared1: Our bathroom is directly above the kitchen. Seems the shower has a cracked pipe...or something. :confused3 Looks like I'll be spending Thanksgiving tearing up my bathroom floor. :headache:

Oh no!:scared1:

That would require buying eggs, oil, measuring spoons, and figuring out what "a little" means. Just kidding. ;) Since it meets my criteria of 4 ingredients or less, I think I can handle it. :thumbsup2

Vent away... honey.. I've got nothing right now... no words of comfort..
I can not make my mind get around the idea that my life could ever be so bad or I am so sick, that I want to end my life.

3 ingredients... and you will have to mix them, maybe roll them out( depending on the type) and... BAKE THEM  :rotfl2:

1 kid home.. 1 will be soon .
We went to look at at house for sale this morning. 3 acres, 4 bedrooms, unfinished basement, 2 car garage, florida room, brick patio, AND A DECK... but it does not meet the bedroom sizes. :headache: It's vacant too :headache: :headache:

Can't I just press them out? I think I have a rolling pin phobia. What would that be called? :rotfl:

HI Fockers, that's right 3 days in a row,;)

I can't wait to get out of here today, too much drama the day before a holiday going on at work today.

ANyhow...

Jen - my thoughts are with you and Jon, he is lucky to have such a great Mom:hug:

Kate

Janet - my deepest sympathies for your crock pot:lmao:

Deb:hug:

I think I have the same phobia as s'late:rolleyes1

I saw something about contacts, I buy mine at Costco, and they usually have a $10 off coupon too:thumbsup2

If I don't get back on...

Happy Turkey Day Fockers!!!!!!!

Nuh uh, 4 if you count the bag of mix;)

HI Fockers, that's right 3 days in a row,;)

:faint:

I can't wait to get out of here today, too much drama the day before a holiday going on at work today.

Me either, but becasue it is dead here. 3:00 is NEVER getting here!

Janet - my deepest sympathies for your crock pot:lmao:

Thanks! Good thing we have enough turkey to choke a horse tomorrow, we can eat for the next couple of days until I can replace the crock pot;)

Dawn - love the photos of the kids. They are gogeous.

Janet - I agree on the sugar cookies. I tried making them homemade once and they were terrible. The packaged dough is much better than the recipe I used.

Z - working the concert sounds fun! I have a friend who works concerts and while he doesn't get paid a lot, he gets to see them all free. He can work the ones he wants to work.

Jen - sorry to hear about Jon. Poor kid!

CE - I think the job promotion prospect for dh sounds good.

I took BabyGirl to the ENT yesterday and she is going to have to have surgery. No surprise there. They recommended last Jan to have her tonsils and adenoids removed, but we wanted to wait because she had just turned 3. Now they have to remove one of her tubes and the ENT said her tonsils look even worse. Might as well get it all done in 1 go. They called to schedule the surgery today, but I missed the call. They want to do it on Dec 4, but Mr Diz is having his hernia surgery on Dec 5. I'm going to try to get her surgery the following week.

I'm going to have to stay off the budget board. I bought ds those Cyclops Night Vision goggles. He asked for them and I decided not to buy them, thinking he won't play with them that much, right? Then I read on the budget board that they are on all the "hot toy" lists. Target had them on sale and I decided they might be pretty good to use next time we stay at AKV.

My boys want those, too... and it's BECAUSE of AKL! :lmao: They had so much fun using them there, that they've decided they should own a pair.

THere are 10 of us all toghether (counting me, Jim and Jimmy) so it's not too bad.

Pictures and curtains should be hung to night so I will post pics after that is done!:thumbsup2
