CE- hugs for your dad and family.
Thank you.
Of course! Hope he's better soon, CE!
Thanks, give Waldo a hug from me, too.

I was going to say that!
Great minds...
But don't you get extended vacations during the year? We get three days in October, two weeks in December/January and a week in April. That's it for vacations other than a day here and there.
We don't get anything in October, and just the 2 days at Thanksgiving. We did not end up with 2 weeks this year at Christmas - we went to school through the 23rd and were back the 2nd. But we get the week in Feb. and the week in April (which I detest, but oh, well...) I mean, it has to be 180 days, right? That's the law. So it all probably works out the same, but I hate the way we get ours.

You got it, CE!
Thank you.
Pixie dust heading your way and to Illinois!
I appreciate it.
CE hope your Dad is Okay!!
Thanks! I'm glad you had a great day!
I could spend $25 easy on cheese! Of course i also regularly have at least 7 types of cheese in my fridge at any given time. Chedder, monterey jack, provolone, swiss, mozzarella, parmesean, brie, and sometimes feta.

Im a rat what can i say.
That sounds about like mine. I am a bit heavier on the grated mixed cheeses and not so much the yellows, but I have American, lots of mixed, brie, feta, hot habenero, and two kinds of parm right now.

I LOVE cheese.
now i just have to pack and research a possibly wdw trip. oh...and study
see ya later!
Good luck on the exam, and it sounds like you got a lot done today!

I sent D to baseball with the boys, and I multi-tasked by coloring my hair whilst cleaning the office. I'm about halfway done in there. I am still fairly bitter about needing to do it.

(For those who don't know, stepMIL sleeps on the sofa bed in the office, because the queen-sized bed in my guest room isn't big enough for them to sleep together.

)
We quick showered the boys when they got home, and then we made fruit salad, which is what they both wanted for their birthday treats for school.

Not that I'm complaining about choosing healthy, but it was hard to judge how much, what to send in to serve it, etc. Cupcakes are easy that way. (And I would have bought them.

)
So, that's done, and D is walking the dog now. I could probably go back to the office, but I can't believe it's nearly 10:00 already, so I think I'm done for the night. It's just that tomorrow we need to shop for their presents, I still volunteer for a half-hour in the morning, and we need to be at school at 2:00 for a first grade Earth Day assembly.
Also, the crazy, possibly addicted semi-friend's (where we debated an intervention - some of you might remember...) mother passed away, and the visiting hours are tomorrow night.
Then, the two birthday parties on Saturday, and suddenly, even though it's still 3 days away, Sunday seems to be coming awfully fast.
I just talked to my dad, and he FEELS fine, so he's pretty frustrated with being stuck in the hospital. They have no answers yet. Thanks for thinking of him, everyone.

You guys are the best.
