okay, rant over!! i'm sorry, i just had to vent! these people just literally suck the life and compassion out of you. what makes me the angriest , is that it takes away from the people who really need to be in the er. i have to spend wasted time on the stupid stuff, when i could be helping someone who truly needs it!
am i just being mean??
You are not being mean. I'd say the people wasting your time are the mean ones. My sister works as a CNA in a hospital. She has been sworn at, punched, spit on, called horrible names etc. It's a darn good thing she loves her job. I would have quit the first day. There isn't enough money in the world for me to do that job. I admire you.
Morning. Nothing good about it.
Leo and I had a long talk last night and the situation is far worse than I'd imagined.
I am really hoping that things get easier for Leo. School shouldn't be so hard for such small ones!
On a much lighter note... remember my bizarre-o night out two weekends ago? VIP seating and Italian Guy?! Finally got pictures:
I think the look on my face says it all!
Freakin' Hilarious. OMG.
I think they'll be done by 4PM. I gave them some chocolate pie I made to go with their lunch.
Chat later!
You are too sweet, Kristel. The windows look great!
I can answer that... No and no. Really, the parenting I've seen around town - in stores, parks, beach, etc. - is truly appalling. I fear I'm in teh minority where we live.
You are in the minority everywhere, V. Parenting is going the way of the written thank you note and men removing their hats indoors. (Both of which I insist my boys do.) Keep up the good work. As I told Dawn, your child/ren is a direct reflection of your superior parenting skills. Great parents have great kids. Great parents don't have horrible kids. It is extremely rare for it to go the other way.....
They also sent a small coloring book, so i walked to the store, bought some crayons, and colored a picture to mail to my grandma.

your never too old for fridge art. hopefully it improves though!
I love this.

My Gramma was my world and she loved me to make pictures for her. I did it into my adult years too.
Love the new decor! Great job cleaning! It's sparkly!
Wow with Mel not here it's just WEIRD that I am posting so early. The kitty woke me up making loud noises doing his business so I am dropping by before I get ready to hit IKEA and get some breakfast!
I'm here now but I'm all messed up....
[font]AND.... She was selected to sing the National Anthem SOLO
. Yes Momma is PROUD...
Great job, Sarabeth!!!
Mel and Kat can teach cooking (it's a necessity

) and be in charge of a hot lunch program
What else do we need. It hink we should propose the idea to Disney, maybe they will give us the funding to start
Um, I think we can use Rachel for school nurse, Z for movie nights and TE for our school mascot caretaker (it's a goat, right?)
ROFL
Hi guys! 'Member me?? I am the original disappearing FOCKER!
Waldo's doing ok. Preparing for a second surgery in the next week or so. He's ok with it, just wanting all this to be done already and get his quality of life back, KWIM?
I remember you! You like weiner salad, right???? LOL
Glad that Waldo is ok. I'm going to be keeping him in my thoughts.
I think parenting in general is very lax these days, at least around here. I feel fortunate to have met all of you who obviously are doing lots of things right and have correct ideas about teaching kids respect and politeness. I have a few friends with kids and half the time I feel like I want to jump in and parent for them, and they aren't even my kids! My friend L is one of my fav moms ever- she has a great relationship with her 10 year old and it impresses me. You are doing the right thing even if everyone else isn't.
All the Focker kids I have met are wonderful. (And you can ask Dawn, I really don't like other people's kids. LOL)
So you see why this cracked me up, and we had to try it!
I have NEVER made it out of IKEA without cinnamon rolls. It's so sad.

Loved your mini-Tr on the Trip to IKEA. LOL
