Thanks Lessa! And the majority of Indiana has only been dealing with DST for 3 or 4 years now. We never used to change our clocks until a certain governor took office. Now we are on N.Y. time. Makes since seeing how we are closer to Chicago.

OK now: GOOD CRAPTASTIC MONDAY PEOPLE! AND I MEAN THAT WITH LOTS OF LOVE.

So I got an email this morning from the Girl Scout council that my scheduled cookie booth time was 9am-1pm. I know that's not right, because I would NEVER book ANYTHING that wasn't life threatening at that unGODLY hour! Oh well.... it's done.

Why would someone do that to the girls? WTG for your quick thinking to relocate.

But you know what? They had fun at the park. So it worked out.

So my plan for today is pack!

Oh thank goodness! I was starting to worry.

Saw that Waldo went back to ER. but did not read far enough to find out what is going on. Hope he is doing well now.

Never made it to the beach yesterday; Leo was tired, it was windy and we knew the beaches would be packed anyway.

My allergies are at their worst; the oaks have amassed literal drifts of yellow stuff all around my condo. I miss breathing.

You and Maddie both! Poor thing - the season started early here. But I'm noticing it's worse for her on overcast days. WTH?

UGH...this time change is no fun! Lindsey didn't want to get up this morning but at least DR slept in. He just woke up and is laying on the couch trying to wake up. I think he and Lindsey both have allergies hitting them so they are not in the best of moods. LOL

Well, I drowned my sorrows in ice cream last night. Jamoca Almond Fudge was just the ticket.

I've got to take Maddie shoe shopping this afternoon. God help me! She drives me bonkers with shoes oh and socks. Her socks CANNOT have seams or she flips out. I dread shoe shopping with Maddie.

Evan is so easy. He buys the same shoe everytime, just 1/2 size larger. Black suede Vans, velco strap. Easy peasy.

T- We have the yellow pollen all over the trees across the street too. We've been suffering too.
My son is way worse than the girls. I just had a huge blow out fight with him about getting his $#$%#%#%!* shoes on so we could go to Walmart to buy new readers for him. He was jumping up and down screaming while I was in the car at the street with the girls in the car too. Poor Camryn was crying and screaming, "Just get some shoes on, Aiden!!!" I counted to 10, I started shutting the garage door... more screaming and crying and jumping up and down. I finally got out of the car, yanked him inside the house, and after some physical persuation , he ran to the car to get away from me. Little sh*t...

This was all over not wanting to wear the new shoes he picked out, tried on and asked me to buy a month ago. He hasn't worn them once and I said he had to today. I was one mad momma. Now I'm eating Cadbury egg and no one's allowed to talk to me.

When do you think you'll have the party? I know there's a pumpkin spice I love love love, but that's too fall-ish for now. I'm thinking a sugar cookie one. I'm sure they have a site.

Anyone have any advice for a mom with a son who doesn't care about reading? Not a son who isn't ready to read, a son who doesn't want to...

Buzz will NOT care about handwriting, no matter how often we're on him, so sometimes I think they just like what they like. But, he's a spectacular reader and only wants books about TV shows and movies. I try to fight it, but then I think, "Well, he's reading, if it's about Star Wars, so be it." Like Kate says, maybe just find something he's really interested in.

They are pounding away on the roof as we speak. I hope they get done before I have to leave for town. My appt. for the taxes is at 2 PM. I'll be leaving at 1.

OMG! I just experienced the attack of the demon toilet!

I was sitting at my computer when all of the sudden I heard this really loud and scary gurgling type noise coming from the basement bathroom. I went to check it out and the toilet was possessed! The water was gurgling and bubbling and spewing water everywhere and making this really horrific sound. It was frightening! I yelled for Erich to come check it out but he was too slow and it had stopped right before he showed up. The sink in the bathroom and in the laundry room were also making really strange noises. It was so bizarre! The bathrooms and the sinks upstairs were unaffected though.

We heard work being done outside and there was a big Utilities truck down the street at the sewer but holy they should warn people if their work is going to effect the house like that! I was afraid our pipes were going to explode or something! Not to mention the bathroom floor was covered in water from the toilet possession.

Our poor cat Hobbes was so scared by the whole ordeal that his tail completely puffed up and he was cowering in a corner. Poor kitty.

Signs of things to come, Maddie will have a show obsession and Evan will be a typical man shoe shopping- in and out of the store. KC is the WORST to shop for shoes with, nothing ever feels comfortable enough to him, it hurts me to shop with him.

It's Monday. YUCK. Rainy, dark, & the time change still messing with me.

At least I am home alone and can relax a little. KC & I had a long talk about what to do now since we have to stay in the apartment for at least a month (rent is being paid this week) so we have a list of projects to do to take care of our stuff and get ready to move. Hopefully we can find a new apartment.

I have a ton of leftovers so dinner will be easy today. I plan to curl up on the couch with my kitty and my DVR'd shows.

Jen, looks good. I have a couple of comments though.
1. Definitely GO STRAIGHT to Toy Story.
2. Watch Tink LIKE A HAWK at the Honey I shrunk the Playground. Someone posted a while back about someone trying to take a child OUT of the area! Skeery!
3. The Stunt Car show is VERY limited on times. I think only 2 or 3 a day. Make sure you don't miss it by planning on it too late in the day.
4. Backlot tour is closed during your visit.
