SOunds like an interesting family:sad2:
:rolleyes1 Exactly why I'm not too sad to see them gone. Kirt said all the builders and other businesses that had to deal with them will be happy to hear they're gone.

We're home and I'm now in between cooking dinner and the DIS. I have about 5 minutes left on the garlic bread (DR calls them fingers LOL) and we'll be ready to go.

Lindsey's doc appt went well but she now as an infection in the other ear. :rolleyes: So another round of antibiotics for her. I am so mad at my ex though. He's to pay for the kids' doctor's bills. I get the bills here at my house and send them to him for him to pay. Well, as I go to leave the doctors office today we have a balance. I ended up paying for it because I hate having one. Totally pisses me off when he lies to me and thinks I won't find these things out. :sad2:

Well, I hear my dinger going off. Be back later!
What a pain. :headache: :hug:

I'm so glad that it's all done now at K's work. It's going to be so good for the company.

Don't worry, Katt, I do think about my trip every once in a while. Once the house is on the market next week, I can spend more time thinking about it. :thumbsup2

I talked to my sales counselor at the new home builder and she said we're fine for now. I'm not going to lose my lot, but not having my house sold may affect when they start building. Kirt feels confident that he will be able to talk to his boss and the higher ups at the company and they will use their relationship with the home builder to keep the house moving forward.
I'm hoping now that the firing of the old boss is done, Kirt can get some more answers tomorrow at work about specifics for our family. :thumbsup2

:thumbsup2 Sounds like its all working out Dawn.

:sad2: There are 6 of us :faint: Hence why I won't be on too much during the work day for a while!

:scared1: 6 of you! Holy cow! Good Luck!

Oh, I forgot to tell you all. Jimmy got another medal for reading another 100 books! He is actually up to 256:banana: :banana: :banana:

That's awesome! :banana:

Phew! Dinner's done. I just gotta load the dishwasher and put it away. DR's birthday invites are made out and ready to send out in the mail tomorrow. And bed times in 45 minutes. The only thing I need to do is give them both a bath. DR fell asleep watching some TV show but the bath will be good to put him right back to sleep.

I got an awesome deal at Walmart this afternoon! I was wanting to get the kids some lightweight jackets since we won't be needing heavy coats here shortly :banana: and bought 2 for Lindsey for $8 total. One was on sale for $3.00 and the other was marked $7.00 but when I went to check out it was marked down to $5.00. :woohoo: I then picked up some spring/summer PJ's for DR for about $7.00 each. I feel bad for not getting any for Linds but she has a whole drawerful on nightgowns left over from last year that she needed nothing. So, I think I'll just save DR's PJ's for his birthday and give them to him then so Linds won't be throwing a fit over it. :rolleyes:

I might be back later but if not night everyone!

Lindsey's doc appt went well but she now as an infection in the other ear. :rolleyes: So another round of antibiotics for her. I am so mad at my ex though. He's to pay for the kids' doctor's bills. Been there done that with the ear infections. Jimmy had at least one a month from the time he was 2 months old to 18 months old when he finally got tubes put in:sad2:

Sorry the ex is being a pain:headache: :hug:

That's awesome! :banana:

Thanks!:goodvibes

:rolleyes1 Exactly why I'm not too sad to see them gone. Kirt said all the builders and other businesses that had to deal with them will be happy to hear they're gone.

:thumbsup2 That sounds like one of those conversations that you wish was being videoed so you could watch it ::yes::

:scared1: 6 of you! Holy cow! Good Luck!
That's awesome! :banana:

Thanks and Thanks:goodvibes

Buenos Nachos ladies (and Mr. T....uh.....where's Mr. T?????)

We had chicken salad for dinner (spring mix lettuce, dried cherries, crumbled blue cheese, walnuts, croutons and grilled chicken on top with raspberry vinegarette-YUM!!!)

Bob just installed a new thermostat. Our furnace is only a year old and it's been doing the weirdest stuff. It turns on (when set to 70) heats up the house to 67 and then shuts off. Then when I go see why it's so cold, I bump it up to 72 and it won't turn on. So I have to shut it OFF and then ON and then put it back at 70. It will heat to 70 and then shut off. Then it goes down to 67 and stays there! ARGH. Bob has decided to try the new thermostat. Hope it works!

Today was so busy but satisfying! You know how good it feels when you get a TON of stuff done!? I have another busy day tomorrow. Then I get to rest for a day or two....LOL

G-Luv: Yay on the job offer. Can't wait to hear what it's for.

Lori: Sounds annoying (the ex). Can you get him to reimburse you?

I have completely forgotten what else I read. LOL. Hope you guys are having a great night.

MEL:banana:

OOOHHH! Dawn, you follow the signs for ground transportation. That will take you to the escalator to go downstairs. When you get to the bottom of the escalator they will have a CM there with a sign. You go to the GROUND floor (level 1) using the elevator down and to the right. Then you continue to the right. The ME counter is all the way at the end of the building practically. There are CMs the whole way though to guide you so don't worry!

:tiptoe:

I got offered a job.

Bye y'all.

You are just leaving it at that !!!:rotfl2: We want details !!!!!!!:worship:
Had another long day so haven'tcaught up !!! Kritl where are you!!!:lmao:

Ooo........what's Revolutions??
It's a dance club at Broadway at the Beach. They play 80s, 90s and beyond.
It's where my sis and her husband took us. They love to go there.
I just finished my reviews! I got an e-mail this morning that the Kindles are in stock and will ship very soon after the deadline, which is Sunday. :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:
:banana: cool! Those kindles are popular. I read that you can get some downloads free - classic books that are in the public domain.
I went to the Dr and she just gave me a prescription for some anti histamine pills and eye drops, not sure if I'll get them as you can often buy the same stuff way cheaper than the cost of the prescription so I'll have to see. I also said about the apple allergy and she said yeah people do get allergic to stuff :confused: Anyway my eyes are so much better, maybe because I'm not playing golf today :rolleyes1 will have to see how they are this evening!
Hopefully you are feeling better with this prescription.
AND...I have a job interview for a job in San Antonio! :teeth:
Did I miss something? I didn't know you were looking to move to San Antonio.
Oh, I forgot to tell you all. Jimmy got another medal for reading another 100 books! He is actually up to 256:banana: :banana: :banana:
That's great! :cheer2: Jimmy!

Lindsey's doc appt went well but she now as an infection in the other ear. :rolleyes: So another round of antibiotics for her.

Thanks for the help on the airport stuff, Mel. I can't believe I need to know that stuff!!! It's so soon!!!!! :banana: :banana:

You know if you need advice on the heater stuff who to call, right? ;) Kirt's always happy to help the girls who's buying the first round of Lapus... :lmao:

:thumbsup2 That sounds like one of those conversations that you wish was being videoed so you could watch it ::yes::
I bet it was better than the season finale of Bachelor! :rotfl2:

:tiptoe:

I got offered a job.

Bye y'all.
You're such a tease, Jen! :rotfl:

I'm off. Kirt's going to bust me sitting down while he's working. That man is crazy! I'm not cut out for all of this work. He's sweet about not busting my chops, though. :rolleyes1

jen-- you're such a tease. good luck though. :thumbsup2 :hug:

lori-- hope linds feels better.

dawn-- dear :hug: just keep focusing on that vacay!

v-- :worship: :worship: :worship: thanks for all the info. i think i've decided st. pete beach. do you think it will be really spring break-y 4/6- 4/9? i just can't find a hotel i like that's available on the northern shores.

janet-- wow , that's a lot of work for 6 people!

mel-- i'm proud of you for treadmillin today!! i need to get my butt in gear!

that's all i can remember at this point. sorry if i forgot someone. hi to everyone!

the beach won my focker poll hands down!! i think you're all right. i need a relaxing trip!

Lori: Sounds annoying (the ex). Can you get him to reimburse you?

I can ask him to reimburse me but it doesn't mean that he will. :rolleyes: It's like him texting me this afternoon saying he was going to call the kids tonight but then not following through. (He deserves another :rolleyes: on that one)I can send him the receipt to show it was paid for but I can't go into his account and transfer the money to me. He's basically an a$$. :headache: :sad2:

Your chicken salad sounds sooooooooo good though! I bought an Asian salad mix from the store the other day and have yet to try it out. From what the package said it sounds like it would be right up my alley though.

I a off next Friday and of call !!!!!!:banana: :banana: Plus a supervisor stars next eek at the other house and he i fully trained as he jut left a while ago sooo he'sgetting call right away !! :banana: :banana:

Yay on the day off! :banana:

poor baby

lori-- hope linds feels better.

Thanks guys. :goodvibes

The sad thing is she was complaining her other ear hurt and I just blew it off as her ears being stuffy. The doctor looked in and said 'Nope, she's right.' :rotfl: At least when we are done with this set of meds, and if her ears don't hurt, we don't have to go back in for a re-check. :banana: Thank goodness because that would be another doctor bill I would have to end up paying. :rotfl:

ok v, i'm posing another question to you.....

i found a room beach front at double tree in north redington with 2 queen beds...............

or similar hotel st. pete beach.

same price ...........................

which is less spring break-y??? which one better for families??

also, is north redington just as nice a beach as st. pete. (as far as nice sand and ocean water)

my husband got spoiled by the beaches at cozumel and now tries to compare all beaches to this... i told him , we're going to florida , not mexico........so deal. ;) :rotfl2:

and thank you, thank you, thank you for all the info :worship: :worship:

I think I'm back in action, Fockers. How's it going? I was able to catch a few tidbits:

Sorry about your goat TE. I'm glad you stopped by to say 'Hi!'

Kat's KC has been working a lot. She's been bored. Friday she is going to see 'Watchmen'. I'm going to see it Saturday. I won't be seeing Marie's wrestler friend on Sunday. She called him earlier this week and he was extremely drunk. She said 'No thanks!'

Rachel wants to move again!- to Florida!- in a couple of years if all goes well. Right now she can't make up her mind where to stay on vacation down there. Should be fun to watch her pick out where to live one day.:rotfl: ;) (Mums the word on FB)

Dawn needs some big stress relieving hugs. :hug: :hug: She is still not sure how the whole 'employer buying the house thing' is going to work out.

V attempted to get a play date for Leo set up. The other family is very busy. Sounds like a brush-off to me. :confused3 A new job requirement may drive her to drink.

Z got her taxes filed. Did you get any Disney money back?

CE is the Amazon.com queen. She has picture perfect eyebrows for tennis now.

Jo gave some excellent advice about FB. Her eyeballs got fuzzy during golf and she lost. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I hope you find something to help.

Lori's been playing domestic goddess. Linds has an ear infection and the Ex isn't paying the doctor bills like he is supposed to. She got all the invitations for DR's B-day done. Did you send 1 to the Ex? I'd send one with a doctor bill attached.

Mo brought work home again. Hi MO!

PaMom001 just found us! 'Hi' stranger!!!

Rosie actually gets paid to learn how to drive defensively. I'd like to get paid to drive for the offense. She says Steph is better.

Dreamn:cheer2: :cheer2: We have another educated Focker!!! Congrats on your 1st degree!!! Your Chicago B-day plans sound wonderful - have a great time.

Happy Birthday!

Janet is reviewing and reorganizing a ton of people. :scared1:

Mel treaded for 2 miles then did laundry.

G-Luv is torturing us with cliff hangers!:headache: Something about a job offer.

Hedy popped in again!! 'Hi!'

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Thanks for caring, guys. :hug: I felt rotten. I'm over the worst of it. I'm still a bit achy in my back but no more 15 minute toilet visits. I went back to work tonight.

Well I'd like to think I'm a fair person. I tried, after 2 weeks of not hearing from the roofing co., to contact the rep. The phone rang and rang. Then an answering service picked up and redirected me to another line that rang and rang. :confused3 Must not need the business.

So we called the other roofing co. This is the guy that knows/related to my DH. We told him we wanted windows too. Got everything figured and written up. For the roof repair and the windows I am paying under $6000. That is half of what I've seen from others. I have 12 windows. Only 5 are the same size.

He will get the roof done next week. As soon as the windows get in he will call me. :woohoo:

I go to get our taxes prepped on Monday. :sad1: I know I will owe the state. I'm hoping I won't owe the Feds.

What's everbody going to be up to this weekend?

Hi guys!! ::wave::

Carrie: :cool1: on the visitor leaving. :laughing:

Jo: thanks for the FB stuff, that was very helpful. I didn't know you could create groups, but I had what I wanted blocked already.

Kat: On boredom...Go out with friends, walking around the neighborhood, start scrapbooking ;)

Katt: You can add me to the non-pin,email,discount people. One came to me in the mail but it wasn't addressed to me so I don't consider that one. Plus I went to Disney while they gave out 2 million dreams and didn't get one. :sad2:

I think it's what Mel says, the more you go the less they offer. Next time I call Disney and they ask how many times I've been I'm going to say once. :snooty:

Jen2: are you taking the job? popcorn::

Kristel: :hug: about the taxes, but glad your feeling better.
My tax money isn't going to Disney. :rolleyes1 I want to go other places so may use it to travel elsewhere. Also I want to re-do my bathroom at home so it might go towards that. I haven't decided what to use it on yet.

Rachel: I would've voted the beach too. Universal is good when the kids are in their tweens/teens IMO.

I know there's more, but I can't remember....:flower3:
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We had a great time the other night. We ended up not bowling. But the place we went does do bowling, but you can also just hang out at the bar/lounge area and it was ladies night so we got free champagne! :thumbsup2 Afterwards we went to a bar nearby for some Karaoke. :mic:
It was fun and we had a great time.
I work this weekend and then next week I'm off to Puerto Rico for my little brother's birthday. :woohoo: Can't wait!
Lori's been playing domestic goddess. Linds has an ear infection and the Ex isn't paying the doctor bills like he is supposed to. She got all the invitations for DR's B-day done. Did you send 1 to the Ex? I'd send one with a doctor bill attached.
:rotfl: No, didn't send him one since he will be in town to see the kids for DR's birthday. :rolleyes: I did invite him to the party but he won't step foot into my house. I don't know what he's afraid of? It's not like any of my family and friends would attack him or anything. :rolleyes1
Glad your feeling better! And awesome deal on the roof and windows!:banana:
Hi guys!! ::wave::
:wave: Hi Z! Sounds like the other night was a great time!
Good Morning Fockers!
Kids are dressed and I have to take Linds to school in about 10 minutes and it's NOT freezing outside! :banana:
DR has preschool this afternoon and I hope the rain holds off so I can walk him there. I'll probably take our black lab with us and give her some exercise as well.
Not much planned for today other than cleaning and laundry. This computer room needs a deep clean so that's my chore for today along with our eat-in part of the kitchen. The kids have papers everywhere.
Hope y'all have a wonderful Friday!:cutie:
