Janet, It is a small world. Sorry you had such a low turnout for the P-T Conference

Lori
, Thanks for the birthday wishes!

Kat, that sounds like a neat store. I do hope that job works out for you. Great finds on the Vera bags. And  that is a great memorial you made for Bale.

Kristel, hope you get better weather and YIkes! on the Ceder Points Prices!

Jo, I hope you get your boiler fixed today! Our furnace has been out for 3 months!

V, I totally understand  Our papers just state that he gets them for 2 hours on every other birthday so it works out for Chi (her bday is during school year) but doesn't for Omicron's (his bday is during the summer). He also gets 4 weeks during the summer and he gets to pick the weeks. So far he has always picked his week so that he is at his house :sad1: It just breaks my heart. But I suppose it could be worse. Alpha and Delta's mom doesn't even remember their birthdays and doesn't even know what their divorce papers say.

Dawn, Congrats to C! And  about the house. Every house I have bought or sold the closing was delayed at least once.

Rosie

THis is why when I want something specific I send Jim and email or leave a picture of it around for him to "find":lmao:

Can you return them and get the right one's?

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Hopefully you can exchange them.

:cake: Happy Birthday! :cake:

LOL thats why you are the planner. Now tell him he has to take you to DL to use the books! ;)

DEB’s birthday was yesterday. She got a ‘Hidden Mickeys’ and ‘101 things’ books from her DH. He’s just a tad confused about which side of the US they will be on. This sounds like something my DH would do. Very funny!

Awwww bless :rotfl:

I felt so bad for Zeta. He really thought he had done something good and was so proud of himself. When I opened it I just started laughing  because of the irony of him trying so hard to get this birthday right (he messed up last year and was in the doghouse for a long time LOL). He already ordered the right ones and will return the DL ones.

Trying to get caught up at work. My boss started on me before I sat down. We got Tball practice tonight (again), Karate (which I may cancel), and Chi has to be fitted for her danceline uniform. I have lots of housecleaning to do when I get home, some shopping, and I want to finish painting the bathroom that I started a month ago!

So for not even the price of a regular Vera bag I got 2! Mama's happy!

Great bargains!:thumbsup2

What he doesn't know is when we go to Atlantic City I am so going to the place I went last time that had the retired bags for 30% off.

And of course we will be hitting the Disney Outlet, no????? :yay:

Am I spoiled forever by Disney now??? Curse you Disney!

::yes:: I say the same things anytime I try to book something other than Disney.

We looked at going down the shore for 3 nights/4days (Sunday through Thursday). The cheapest we could find was $1000, and that was no food ot the cost of the boardwalk :faint:

Well, it's the big day.... Leo's now a big 7 year-old! party:

:yay:

Allow me a little self pity? Because we alternate holidays, his dad gets him this year for his bday. :sad1: This is the one holiday I hate, hate, HATE sharing. WHO carried him for just short of 10 months? WHO was in labor for 12 hours giving birth to him? Sorry, I just don't buy for a second that dad gets equal rights to this particular holiday. I miss my baby already and it'll only get worse as we approach 6pm, when baby Leo entered the world and forever changed my life for the better.

:hug::hug::hug:

So, as for Camryn, she did a great job and made the dance team yesterday.

Congrats to Camryn:cheer2::cheer2:

====================================================

At work and my boss actually wants me to work today. It's finally beautifuyl out. It's sunny and going up to 80:thumbsup2

Have a good day everyone!:goodvibes

That's pretty much how my two are with birthdays. Lindsey's is New Year's Eve and since we rotate Christmas break he gets her one year on her b-day and I get her the next. It sucks big time and I hate it! DR's is in March so yeah, really no worry. The ex did come into town for DR's b-day this year but at least DR didn't have to travel to him.

:rotfl: Hmmmmmmmm...imagine that, your boss actually wants you to work even though you'd rather be out there in the sunshine. I think I would too. LOL

And every morning when I log on to the internet Comcast is my homescreen. A little weather chart is there and I take a look to see what it will be like
for the day. These past few days its been telling me it'll be in the high 70's when I know that's not going to be true. It finally dawned on me to look at the city and its set to Philly. LOL So, enjoy your nice weather! :)

Leo's now a big 7 year-old!
:cool1: Happy Birthday Leo!

I'm tired of thinking about it and fake arranging it. I want answers, but I have no idea when I'll get them.

So, as for Camryn, she did a great job and made the dance team yesterday. It'll be nice to have both girls performing again. It's wasn't as fun for Camryn to sit by the side and watch Baylie compete these last few years. :dance3:

That stinks about the house thing. Is there any family nearby you coud squat at?:rotfl:
:banana:about the dance team

I forgot to quote others, sorry.

I love my iphone, i wake up in the morning, turn off my alarm, check my email and the weather all before i get out of bed.:thumbsup2

Last night i made a necklace and i decided to make some wine glass charms for my friend to give her with her wedding gifts.:goodvibes it should be fun and pretty easy. I might post a picture of my pretty new necklace later. Im so proud of it. :rotfl:

Marcs coming home today! and hes bring the puppy! I havent seen him in about 2 weeks, so after dinner were going out to see a movie.

Sorry I'm fried.
Talk to you all soon, I hope.
Mel

Don't apologize, goose. Many  for you. Tell NotBob happy birthday from NH! ;)

Jim had 5, count em 5 parents show up for parent conferences tonight

That's crazy. :sad2:

It's a small store that sells like organic soaps and lotions and oils, stuff like that. Its a neat store. The woman is really nice. The pay is very little BUT i need the $ so if it's offered to me i'm taking it!

Sounds like my kind of place! Hope you get it! :goodvibes
I finished the spot on the tv unit for my memorial to Bale...
Very nice!

So for not even the price of a regular Vera bag I got 2! Mama's happy!
Good for you!

I guess they have to make up for the fact that the park is only open a few months out of the year.

That's nuts!

OMG me too I always cook chicken for way longer than you're meant too even in the oven

Me, too - if I saute it or anything. I love to eat it, but cooking it scares me. :lmao:

Boiler man is still here, but it's not all bad as he is off to WDW in a few weeks so I gave him my card :rotfl2: He's also about to take up golf so I've given him David's number too :rotfl: Also the weather here is yuck, it just chucked it down so I'm glad I wasn't playing golf!
Connections! :) I'm glad you're glad that the rain came when you couldn't golf.

Allow me a little self pity? Because we alternate holidays, his dad gets him this year for his bday. This is the one holiday I hate, hate, HATE sharing. WHO carried him for just short of 10 months? :yay::yay::yay: for Camryn!

Right now he is playing Mr. Mom to Lindsey. Getting her some water and a few toys to play with on the couch. I told him don't get too close to his sister though because I don't want him ending up sick as well. LOL

Hope y'all have a good day!

That's cute, but yeah, he doesn't need it, too!

Nope, you're just not busy enough... :faint:

At work and my boss actually wants me to work today.

Well, dang! ;)

It finally dawned on me to look at the city and its set to Philly. LOL So, enjoy your nice weather!

:rotfl2:

**************************************************
I thought I'd be pages behind, but thanks! It's not been a really chatty day...

D let me sleep in and he got the boys to the bus. I got up and pretty much headed straight to the school for my normal Friday volunteering. Then I went to the grocery store (shocker! :rotfl:) and then I came home and did some Wii Fit and then played Lego Indiana Jones for over an hour. :rotfl2:

It's warm (72, perfect! :goodvibes) and started off sunny here, but it's clouding up and they're saying we might get scattered t-storms later.

And...

I spent a while on the phone with my dad. Good thoughts for him, please. I think I said that last week or so, he went to the hospital because he thought he was having more kidney stones, but they did some blood tests and things were a little off?

Well, he had an appointment yesterday, and the upshot is that he had to have a bone marrow draw today - he's looking like he might have either MGUS or multiple myeloma, which is a cancer of the plasma. :sad2:

Luckily, if you have to have cancer, this seems to be a not too awful kind. Sometimes, even if there are cancer cells, they don't do treatment if the patient has no symptoms. But sometimes it does cause kidney failure, so they'd have to see. They can do chemo and so forth if it looks like it's causing big problems... MGUS is the stage before the cancer cells appear, and that is just a "wait and see" thing.

Anyway, my parents are pretty upset, of course, and worried more, I think, about the treatments if it IS cancer than about the disease itself. With all the rain in IL, he still hasn't gotten his fields planted, and he needs to get that done, which isn't helping the stress of "what if we have to go to the doctor all the time, and I'll be weak and can't work?"

He probably won't get "real" answers until the 21st, so for now we're all trying not to worry about something that hasn't happened yet, but it's hard. :sad1:

This is when I really hate living 1100 miles away. :guilty:

Lori- I hope Lindsey feels better soon. It's no fun for our babies to feel bad. :guilty:

Debra- I can't keep track of your kids' names, I swear! Like all good Focker dance/cheer moms, you have to post pics for us when they compete! I love dance stuff. It's so fun for the girls. :dance3:
I went out and bought some cute scrapbooking stuff this week for the new team. The team has a folder they carry for notes for parents. I'm going to scrap a really cute page with the team name and the girls' names on it. They also do star, so I found glittery stars to use. I like to make a button for the girls' picture too. I put rhinestones all around it and wear it at all the competitions. I got ribbons to make cute ribbons on flip flops and the pulls on their dance bags. It's fun! :cutie: Got any ideas that you've seen that you can share? Here's a picture of the blankets and pillow cases I had made for the girls. Their team name is blurred. They use them when they are waiting in their dressing rooms at competitions.

*********************************************************8

Lindsey was demanding lunch earlier and had some toast with a little bit of applesause and water and got sick again. She's napping now so hopefully she'll be able to keep something down after her nap. :guilty:

But I think we have watched every movie under the sun today. We watched Bolt on PPV, Beverly Hills Chiuaua on DVD and were in the middle of Cinderlla when she passed out.

She has no other symptoms other than an upset stomach so I'm hoping its just a 24 hour kind of thing and that no one else gets it.

Here's something interesting. I was thinking that Doug and I could go to Cedar Point in Sandusky OH. next year for a short trip. I looked up on-site hotels for 4 nights. HOLY CARP!!!! The cheapest rooms were $900 total. The only packages were for kids to eat free and some indoor water park. These 'cheap' rooms have not been renovated in a while. It actually said that. The good rooms were, get this,........ $1600 to $1900!!!!!!!!!!! Basically the only advantage to staying at the park is location and you get in 1 hour early.

Am I spoiled forever by Disney now??? Curse you Disney!

WOW on those prices for the rooms! Jeez. Yep Disney has spoiled us all I'm afraid!

I'm so sorry you can't see him today! Do you have any mommy and son plans for his birthday after he gets back?:hug:

The shelf looks great Kat and WTG on the Vera bags!
I was going to go out later this afternoon for a little window shopping but Linds is home sick today. I had just gotten into bed last night when Lindsey came in and said 'Mommy I don't feel good.' Needless to say we were both up all night in the bathroom.

Thanks. I hope Linds feels better!

Great bargains!:thumbsup2

And of course we will be hitting the Disney Outlet, no????? :yay:

Oh heck yea! It's only fitting that DIS people have pics taken at a Disney outlet!

Marcs coming home today! and hes bring the puppy! I havent seen him in about 2 weeks, so after dinner were going out to see a movie.

Whatcha going to see?

I can barely believe it's 3:30 already! I went to bed early and slept really late, guess I needed it. We ordered some Chinese food for lunch and have been relaxing. We need to clean tho. KC is going to make dinner tonight (he didn't have to cook since we had ikea last night). Otherwise not much going on. Happy Friday!

Chi won't be competing. This is just a danceline for the football games - just for fun. I don't normally post pics of my kids on the internet. I could let you see on FB or photobucket?

Still- the folder thing may be something they do for the danceline. B's team at the middle school (which we found out she can't do now) does cute spirit stuff. What about a cowbell with cute ribbons? That's a good one for games.
FB is great. I'll PM you my name so you can look me up. :thumbsup2
