OK...off I go. Hope y'all are having a good day!

You, too, Lori!

Hi, Kristel!

Hopefully the boiler will be finished tomorrow, he might hate me though as he drained the system today and I've just found 2 radiators that we had turned off so they haven't drained :scared:

Whoops!

**************************************************
Well, the kids got home and did homework and then the extra, optional "math superstars" stuff. It's good practice, but some of it is really hard, and I never know if I'm helping too much or not. I feel that I can use it to "teach" - but then, is it their own work?

Now they're outside. :cool1: :rotfl:

I bought some premarinated chicken and since it's not currently a torrential downpour, D's going to grill. :thumbsup2 (I can do it, but chicken makes me nervous - I always overcook it because I'm so afraid of undercooking it! :rotfl:) I'll do up some rice and a salad, and we'll be set!

I have a few min before I have to leave for my interview so I thought I'd catch up.
So now we wait until Monday. popcorn::

I got my Mother's Day pressies from WDW today and there was a Castle robe in there :thumbsup2 I posted on FB but for those of you not on there.....
Love your gifts, Jo! :goodvibes And I love the things from Basin.

Hopefully the boiler will be finished tomorrow, he might hate me though as he drained the system today and I've just found 2 radiators that we had turned off so they haven't drained :scared:
Uh, oh! ;)

I bought some premarinated chicken and since it's not currently a torrential downpour, D's going to grill. :thumbsup2!
I like not knowing how to grill. :rolleyes1 Mitch likes charcoal and I am not going to worry with that.

My godmother should be here in a few hours. Dinner is made, chicken casserole, it just needs to be put in the oven, and a salad. It's nice living so close to the airport because as soon as the luggage starts coming out, she calls and I go pick her up. The cleaning lady is coming tomorrow morning, so we'll do breakfast and maybe some shopping. Saturday is her b'day so we're headed to Epcot, it's supposed to be 92. :faint: Then we're meeting Tiggerbelle at the GF for tea and a spa treatment. She was able to add Jan on the ressies at the last minute. Thank goodness. Although if she wasn't able, I was going to be perfectly happy reading/taking pictures in the GF lobby. :thumbsup2 Sunday I think we're cooking at my sisters. I haven't seen Reid in a few days and that's no good! ;)

At the park last weekend.

Jimmy gets mad when I try to help. Mooooooooooooooom, I know how to do it:rolleyes:

Jim likes charcoal too:confused3 Hey. like you said I don't have to do it:thumbsup2

Then we're meeting Tiggerbelle

That's great that you are going to see Jaime again!:thumbsup2

=====================================================

Just checking real fast before I'm off to the school spring fair meeting. Check back later!

Thanks, Lessa. We had only been out about an hour and his cheeks got that red, with sunscreen on. Does not bode well for Auntie who likes to pool all day!

I like not knowing how to grill. :rolleyes1 Mitch likes charcoal and I am not going to worry with that.

We have a gas grill, and I decided I had to learn last year when we bought the ridiculously large and pricey new one. I figured we'd best make as much use of it as possible, and it IS easy for me and the kids when D is gone to just throw some dogs on. :thumbsup2

Although if she wasn't able, I was going to be perfectly happy reading/taking pictures in the GF lobby. :thumbsup2 Sunday I think we're cooking at my sisters. I haven't seen Reid in a few days and that's no good! ;)

Sounds like a fun time with your godmother, and beautiful pic of you and Reid! :)

Jimmy gets mad when I try to help. Mooooooooooooooom, I know how to do it:rolleyes:

Woody doesn't like me trying to teach him things  (we would never be homeschool candidates for that reason) but often wants help. Buzz is the type of kid that will let anyone do the work for him, even though he doesn't NEED the help, if you KWIM. :sad2: But, he does listen when we try to teach him.

Just checking real fast before I'm off to the school spring fair meeting. Check back later!

Hope the meeting goes well. :thumbsup2

God Love him! I guess I should have been more specific!

Sorry. Another fly-by. :sad2:

The oral surgeon said my "tooth spots" look great. No sign of infection or anything. He said sometimes they hit a nerve or something and one side will be more uncomfortable. He gave me some gel to use. :thumbsup2

The 'yearly stirrup visit' went fine. Then I went and picked up bday cards and some last minute groceries for Bob's bday celebration. Ran home, made a key lime pie (his request) and a lasagna (also his request) and popped them in the fridge. Packed up the friends, kids and Bob and we went to the Star Trek exhibit at our local Science Center. It was interesting. Bob and his BFF got onto the local news to talk about what they hoped to see in the movie tomorrow. :sad2: Geeks!!!!!!

So, then we left and drove home and had dinner. Everything was good and Bob loved his cards, gifts and meal.

Tomorrow I am sending boys to school, working in the library (Gosh, I need to get OUT OF HERE) and then coming home. Bob and his BFF are going to the noon show of Star Trek. The girlfriend is waiting at my house.....:confused3........and then I'll be home around lunchtime. The boys get out of school at 2:30 and 4. Then we'll all head out to dinner and the movie together! I'm exhausted. We have a cookout here on Saturday for 20 people and I have NO CLUE how I'm going to get the cooking done and forget cleaning. There is quite literally NO POINT. UGH.
I'll try to stop beotching........

Hugs for anyone who needs one.
Yay to Kat for the hopefully good interview news.
Happy Bday to Debra
Yay for Sam's test.
OMG to V for going to ANY park with a 9 crowd level....

Sorry I'm fried.
Talk to you all soon, I hope.
Mel

(we would never be homeschool candidates for that reason)

Us either...or I should say me! Jim would do it in heartbeat!:thumbsup2

Me I am in the Hate and Revenge mode !!!:rolleyes1I plan to stay there too!!:guilty:

God Love him! I guess I should have been more specific!
[/COLOR]

THis is why when I want something specific I send Jim and email or leave a picture of it around for him to "find":lmao:

Can you return them and get the right one's?

The oral surgeon said my "tooth spots" look great. No sign of infection or anything. He said sometimes they hit a nerve or something and one side will be more uncomfortable. He gave me some gel to use.

:thumbsup2

Bob and his BFF got onto the local news to talk about what they hoped to see in the movie tomorrow. :sad2: Geeks!!!!!!

No wonder Bob and Jim got along at Fockerfest..he would have been right there with them:sad2:

I'll try to stop beotching........

WHy that is why we are here. Bail money is ready if you need it;)

=======================================================

Home from the Home and School Meeting...finally. It actually wan't bad. THe meeting itself wasn't bad, just about an hour. THe funny thing is that the meeting was at the Home and School President's House. Our HSA president is named Harry, his wife is Linda. I had never met her before tonight. WHen I met her I thought wow, she really looks familiar, but I thought I probably just knew her from seeing her at different events and school and never made the connection that she was Harry';s wife. Anyway as the meeting was winding down we atarted chatting and it turned out we went to High School together. She graduated in 83 I graduated in 85. We know so many of the same people. :lmao:

Come one sing all together...It's a small, small world..your welcomepirate:

Jim had 5, count em 5 parents show up for parent conferences tonight:sad2:

Tomorrow is Friday:yay: Have a good night everyone!

Well, the kids got home and did homework and then the extra, optional "math superstars" stuff. It's good practice, but some of it is really hard, and I never know if I'm helping too much or not. I feel that I can use it to "teach" - but then, is it their own work?

Went through the same thing with Lindsey tonight and feel the same way with her homeowrk. She's in Kindy and we were doing an algebra problem. :sad2: I too would not make a very good candidate for home schooling.

At the park last weekend.
misc021.jpg

What a cutie pie!:goodvibes

Our spirits are starting to lift a little , at least Judy isn't so devastated , I think she's moved to the anger stage !! Me I am in the Hate and Revenge mode !!!:rolleyes1I plan to stay there too!!:guilty:

 Good to hear!

Hopefully you can exchange them.

:cake: Happy Birthday! :cake:

Sorry. Another fly-by. :sad2:

 Hi Mel! Glad all doc appointments went well. Happy Birthday to Bob! How many more days are your guests there?

Glad it went well! What's this for, again. I'm sorry I'm forgetful.

It's a small store that sells like organic soaps and lotions and oils, stuff like that. Its a neat store. The woman is really nice. The pay is very little BUT i need the $ so if it's offered to me i'm taking it!

So now we wait until Monday. popcorn::

At the park last weekend.

Yea waiting stinks, but at least I have a date to know one way or another!

He is such a cutie! NICE BAG! read below to find out my VB bags story of the last few days.....

Thanks to everyone for the birthday wishes. I told hubby I wanted Steve Barrett's Hidden Mickey book and look what I got:

LOL thats why you are the planner. Now tell him he has to take you to DL to use the books! ;)

Sorry. Another fly-by. :sad2:

Good Lord Woman!!! Order out some heroes or something for the party, don't knock yourself out! good luck with everything. I think we are going to use my 2 free movie passes on Star Trek, we just have to wait 2 weeks to use 'em , i'd like to see it but I'm in no hurry.

Well we decided to go to Ikea, got all dressed and ready to go and then the hevans opened up. I changed and relaxed and the rain stopped. got dressed again, and went. FINALLY got the pics of Bale. Went to Ikea. Got the bin I needed to finish the tv unit and a new rug for the bathroom. We had some food too ($23 anbd we were STUFFED).

I finished the spot on the tv unit for my memorial to Bale...

stufff003.jpg

Now KC is gaming and I am catching up on my pc stuff and going to read soon, i'm really into my book.

So...story....I have purchased 3 Vera Bradley bags over the last like 72 hours. LOL. I ordered one on ebags.com, it came and was realy tiny. It's a Hannah bag(in Kensington). SO I sent in the return. I did lots more research and decided I needed the Little Betsy bag. Scoured ebay for hours, and ended up buying one in Mod Floral Pink for...wait for it...$23.00!!!! :woohoo: . But since I returned the Hannah I needed another bag instead, a smaller one, for smaller bag occasions (uh sure lol). So I ended up going with an Amy bag in Java Blue. I found it on ebay and paid $20.00!!! :woohoo::woohoo: So for not even the price of a regular Vera bag I got 2! Mama's happy! :goodvibes

Kc is confused as to why I need these LOL, but made no complaints because he's buying a DSi with the proceeds from our ebay sales. What he doesn't know is when we go to Atlantic City I am so going to the place I went last time that had the retired bags for 30% off. :yay:

Anyways I'm off..have a great night everyone!!!

UPDATE! UPDATE!

JANET is making up book wish lists for Jimmy. She is going to a book fair. It stopped raining. She has discovered it is indeed a small world.

CE says Woody is having some ghost issues. She is working her chesticles. :rotfl2: She’s chicken when it comes to cooking chicken on the grill. Practice makes perfect!

ROSIE test drove a new van. Judy’s divorce should be final in 3 months. She is packed and ready for vaca! She says she is not grey anymore!!! So thoughs of us who aren't going have to wait to see pictures when you get back??? No fair! This is why you are my second bestest Brit! :lmao:puckerup:

T has been dealing with brownies who should work for the National Enquirer. :rotfl2: What a riot!!!

JO had to babysit the boiler dude. She got her Mom’s day stuff from the panel, Pg. 240, Post #3588. Gosh, super nice!!!

MEL’s company is treating her place like their own. Their place must be trashed. Evidently no one in their house cooks either. They pigged out on Mel’s cooking. They are doing the ‘Trek’ movie today. Mel is exhausted. I’m sorry you are putting up with so much! Tell Bob Happy B-day, please.

DAWN is busy with everything.

SLATE says ‘Hi!’

V is already planning her Disney year for 2010. :sad2:

SHARKY made it to Ohio. 400 kids and Tylenol for the next couple of days.:scared1:

KAT had her job interview. It was a piece of cake. She got 2 Vera B bags from E-bay for less than the cost of one. Score! Actually, I wouldn’t know the difference between Vera Bradley and Ben Bradley.:confused3

CEL BEL is teaching us veterinarian Latin. I hope you did great on the mondo test!:thumbsup2

ANGIE is being visited by her Godmother. They are doing some shopping and going to Epcot. There’s a pic of her and Reid , post #3602, above.

DEB’s birthday was yesterday. She got a ‘Hidden Mickeys’ and ‘101 things’ books from her DH. He’s just a tad confused about which side of the US they will be on. This sounds like something my DH would do. Very funny!

******************************************************************
It was carpy weather until about 4PM today. Then the sun came out in full force. Everything is so soggy. It stormed again from 8:30 to 11PM. :sad2:
I'm really sick of it.

Here's something interesting. I was thinking that Doug and I could go to Cedar Point in Sandusky OH. next year for a short trip. I looked up on-site hotels for 4 nights. HOLY CARP!!!! The cheapest rooms were $900 total. The only packages were for kids to eat free and some indoor water park. These 'cheap' rooms have not been renovated in a while. It actually said that. The good rooms were, get this,........ $1600 to $1900!!!!!!!!!!! Basically the only advantage to staying at the park is location and you get in 1 hour early.

Am I spoiled forever by Disney now??? Curse you Disney!

I told Doug. He raised his eyebrows and said he wouldn't want to stay that long anyway. There's not enough to do. We could just do what we have done before and stay on the strip that leads to the park. I just thought it would be nice to stay right there. I guess they have to make up for the fact that the park is only open a few months out of the year.
:sad2:

Come one sing all together...It's a small, small world..your welcomepirate:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it's the big day.... Leo's now a big 7 year-old! party:

Allow me a little self pity? Because we alternate holidays, his dad gets him this year for his bday. :sad1: This is the one holiday I hate, hate, HATE sharing. WHO carried him for just short of 10 months? WHO was in labor for 12 hours giving birth to him? Sorry, I just don't buy for a second that dad gets equal rights to this particular holiday. I miss my baby already and it'll only get worse as we approach 6pm, when baby Leo entered the world and forever changed my life for the better.

Morning, everyone. :goodvibes
I'm beat! Going back and forth to Austin twice this week wore me out. :guilty: I'm glad to be home.

I don't have any more answers on the house thing. Essentially, my agent said it seems to be making the buyer's finance guy mad for him to push him to be ready to close next Friday. :headache: I don't really know what to do. I guess I could schedule the movers for Thursday just in case, but if we sell this house on Friday we may not be able to close on Friday and buy our house. So, we could be stuck on the weekend with nowhere to live. :confused3
I'm tired of thinking about it and fake arranging it. I want answers, but I have no idea when I'll get them.

So, as for Camryn, she did a great job and made the dance team yesterday. It'll be nice to have both girls performing again. It's wasn't as fun for Camryn to sit by the side and watch Baylie compete these last few years. :dance3:

So, we're taking it easy today. I may get the laundry caught up and get some groceries, but mostly the kids are recovering from being at Grandma's. ;)

Happy birthday, Leo! :wizard:

Happy late birthday, Debra! princess:

Love the bag Angela and Ried is yummy cute! :cutie:

V- I don't blame you. I'd be upset too.

I know what you mean by being spoiled. I was looking into taking the kids to Hershey, PA this summer for a few days and OMG...sticker shock there on the rooms. We'll stick to the local amusment parks and zoos around her and in Pittsburgh.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^6

I was going to go out later this afternoon for a little window shopping but Linds is home sick today. I had just gotten into bed last night when Lindsey came in and said 'Mommy I don't feel good.' Needless to say we were both up all night in the bathroom.

DR is being such a pill lately and his whining is starting to get to me. This morning I almost bit his head off becuase I'm exhusted. I felt so bad about it after yelling at him. :( Thank goodness he has school this afternoon so Linds and I can take a nap.

Right now he is playing Mr. Mom to Lindsey. Getting her some water and a few toys to play with on the couch. I told him don't get too close to his sister though because I don't want him ending up sick as well. LOL

Hope y'all have a good day!
