Hi Fockers!

Sorry I went MIA and there is no way I'm catching up. Any Kristal updates around?

Last week I was busy with the kiddos and then at the beginning of this week I changed cable/internet providers. Remind me never to do this again. :laughing: But hey saving money is a good thing. :thumbsup2

I've been busy with Lindsey and her school. She had 3 field trips last week and then on top of that we had t-ball practice and her games started. :eek:

But all is going well around here and will be busy until the middle of May. :hug: to those who need them. :wave2: to everyone...how I missed you all!

Ok I'm just going to use Kristely Handy Dandy updates as my quote ;)
THANKS KRISTEL!! :hug:
My replies in red

Hello ladies and gents!

CE says she is guest free until July. The boys are on a break from school. D is home.
Wooohoo!! :woohoo:

ROSIE says Judy’s job is OK. The marriage is in a big rut though. :hug:for Judy
Glad to hear this Rosie and hugs for Judy.

DAWN’s town schools are closed until May 11th. They are telling people to stay home. She is getting a lot of indoor family time now. They should be moving within the next 2 weeks. I'm glad everythiong is working out for you. Stay well.

Yay on everything working out Dawn!

MrsKS – oops I thought you left out some letters. I’m used to Rosie’s typing.:rotfl2:
What's new on the chair for Bill?

KAT is trying to keep busy. :grouphug:

So what'd you do Kat?

SCOTT’s in the new place.:woohoo::woohoo:

Z is disappointed because she hasn’t made a dent in the scale after a lot of hard work. I know exactly how you feel. I get so frustrated when I think I have done well but the scale doesn’t reflect it. Don't give up.
Thank you to everyone who gave me words of encouragment. I'm not giving up!

ANGIE is unmotivated today. To answer your question, Rockie and I will be going on Sept. 29. That’s a Tuesday.
Lazy Days are good Ang ;)

SHARKY has to go to OH for #1 son’s Lego competition. She is glad to know they have heard of Purell.
So are there pictures of their Lego stuff? :confused3

V still can’t get a good squeeze on with her thighs. :rotfl2: She was not ‘hot to trot’…………….. on the horse today. Leo is a pro! Go, Leo, go!!
:hug: for you V. Yay for Leo! :thumbsup2

JANET is dealing with incompetence from others at work. Wow, I thought that only happened at my job.
I deal with this every day plus patients. :sad2:

JO says the weather over there is great. They lost the golf match. She has white feet. It’s too bad they don’t make Croc sandals with cleats.
That's a good one Kristel! :rotfl2: You should market it to the crocs people ;)

CEL BEL needs a new robe thanks to the puppy. She got 100% on her stats midterm. She’s not sure on a couple of other tests.
Wow! :thumbsup2 I hated stats

T uses clothing to mark her weight loss progress instead of a scale. :thumbsup2 Scales are the enemy! Waldo was cleared this morning but has to take it easy until May 11. :banana:

I agree they are. I wasn't going to weigh myself, but I was curious because to use Dawns words I felt lighter. Oh well. Keep it up too T, I'm sure you'll fit into those smallest shorts ;)
))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

No excitement here. I'm off work starting tomorrow until Sunday. I'm going to lunch tomorrow to see a friend I haven't seen in a while. Then to Walmart and Aldi. If I have time I want to buy some tunes at Best Buy.

Have a good night and tomorrow.

Hi all,
all moved in. Still have more unpacking to do though.

Kat I am going there to. I forgot to do the exchange this month on Enchanted so I will pick something up for next month instead. OOPS!!!!

Hope all are well....

What time were you there? We should have coordinated lol

I did my own weigh in Monday and after a whole week of hitting the gym and working my booty off I lost a grand total of 0 that's Zero pounds! I felt like this :sad: and just wanted to go out and eat some cake. But I put on my girl panties (no pun intended) and went to the gym instead. I hate fat. :guilty:

That's all from me! TTYL!:hippie:
'

I hear ya! That stinks about not loosing weight, but maybe it'll take a bit. I personally hate scales, if I feel and see a difference it means more to me.

Kat, why don't we live closer? :hug: We could keep each other occupied. :goodvibes

That selttles it, moving to Orlando! ;)

Morning everyone:goodvibes

I wanted to ask you what weekend in July would possibly be good for you to come to Atlantic City. We are figuring out the finances this week and I think July would be better since it's more time to save up!

Good morning, Fockers. :goodvibes

Good luck with everything, I hope it's all done soon!

Beautiful day here and we played our match, we started great winning the first 3 holes but we ended up losing :sad2: I started getting nervous and mucking up a little! Anyway my golfers tan is already showing, you know tanned legs and white feet :rotfl:

Hey Jo I was on line behind a woman today in the book store asking for an "exercise book". At first i didn't understand, neither did the sales guy, he tried to direct her to the sports section, but she really just wanted a blank journal type book. It made me think of you, because she was British! Another one of thsoe language issues lol

hi! im still alive! I had a great weekend, and the puppy is adorable and so well behaved. All except for eating a large part of my favorite bathrobe!:mad:

i got 100% on my stats midterm!:banana: cant say the same for my bio test, and im not sure about the 3rd. So im off to school for today!

HI. Congrats on the midterm!

Waldo had his post op this morning and all functions are a go! :woohoo: Sorry if that's TMI, but we're so happy for him! His doctor told him no activity until May 11th and then it's back to the golf course for him! :lmao:

Glad to hear Waldo is doing good!

Hi Fockers!

Hey stranger, nice to see you!

Ok I'm just going to use Kristely Handy Dandy updates as my quote ;)

I went ALL over the city. I'll post a mini TR tomorrow, I;m too tired to do it tonight.

#########################

loooooong day. I'm beat, just wanted to catch up before I hit the bed HARD!

Night all!

Hi everyone! No time to quote. Has anyone heard from Mo????

Today is my busy busy busy day! Cleaning house and going to the gym. Also have to do some laundry and pay some bills. Tomorrow I'm getting my two lower wisdom teeth out so I want everything done so I don't have anything staring me in the face while I recover!

Hope you are all doing well. I did read everything and it's looking good, Fockers!
T: Hugs for you and Waldo. So glad things went well. :hug:

MEL

Hey stranger, nice to see you!

:wave: Hi Kat.

Today is my busy busy busy day! Cleaning house and going to the gym. Also have to do some laundry and pay some bills. Tomorrow I'm getting my two lower wisdom teeth out so I want everything done so I don't have anything staring me in the face while I recover!

:wave: Hi Mel! Good luck with the wisdom teeth tomorrow. Have fun cleaning today. I can't blame ya for wanting to get it all done today.

*******************************************

Good Morning Fockers!

Not much planned for us today. Linds is in school and I do have some laundry to do and straighten up some but I think DR and I will head to Target and McD's for lunch this afternoon. No t-ball practice or games tonight. Thank goodness!

Well, DR just got up so I need to go make him breakfast and snuggle with him. Hope y'all have a good Thursday

Hi all! I'm a little weirded out-the first Swine Flu case was at the hospital that was down the street from me when I lived in Mexico in college.

/
i got 100% on my stats midterm!:banana: cant say the same for my bio test, and im not sure about the 3rd. So im off to school for today!
Congrats, and I'm sure you did well on the others, too!:cool1:

I bought 2 pair of shorts... 1 pair 1 size too small and another pair 2 sizes too small. My goal is to be in the smaller pair in August and the smallest by October. :thumbsup2
I have to say, this is totally working for me! Remember the Motivational Bikini? Well, it has friends now. A whole drawer full of them, lol! First time I've felt good enough about my body to wear a bikini in 15 years. :goodvibes
OMG! I am sooooo sore! My thighs feel like the muscle is pulling away from the bone! :headache:
Dude, I know that pain! Mine are actually wore today than yesterday. :sad2: :hug:
Waldo had his post op this morning and all functions are a go!
Fantastic! I'm so glad for him. :goodvibes

but from reading here the last few years you Americans get sick far more often than we all do!!!
ITA Jo. I think we've sanitized our immune systems right out of commission!
How about a teen friendly restaurant? :rotfl2:
Planet Hollywood? Frankly, I suspect Univeral's offerings would be a better fit for that age, but I'm guessing you can't steer them that way. ;)

V still can’t get a good squeeze on with her thighs. :rotfl2: She was not ‘hot to trot’…………….. on the horse today. Leo is a pro! Go, Leo, go!!
:lmao: This is spot-on!

############################################

Morning all! Not a lot going on here. Tomorrow is my first ADR day, though! I'm hoping to make all of them, but I'm reading that some people with split stays are having to call back for the second stay.

Good Moning All !! Nothing going on really gotta go to work for noon and have to do laundry and errands !! Hope everyone has a good day see ya tonite !! Jo you are still the BESTEST!!!

i got 100% on my stats midterm! cant say the same for my bio test, and im not sure about the 3rd. So im off to school for today!

Great Job!:thumbsup2:cool1:

Hello ladies and gents!

Hi Kristel :wave2:

JANET is dealing with incompetence from others at work. Wow, I thought that only happened at my job.

I wonder what would happen if we got my incompetant people together with your incompetant people :faint::scared1:

Hi Fockers!

Sorry I went MIA and there is no way I'm catching up. Any Kristal updates around?

Hi Lori :wave2:

Kristel update one page back:thumbsup2

So far the only weeknd I can't make it is 4th of Juoly, which is fine becasue I wouldn't want to be there that weekend anyway. The crowds make WDW during Christmas week look sane:eek: Let me check with Jim tonight and let you know, but I think the 11th, the 18th, or the 25th would be good!:thumbsup2

Hi everyone! No time to quote. Has anyone heard from Mo????

No word from Mo, I was actually going to try and give her a call at some oint this week...starting to get a bit worried:guilty:

ITA Jo. I think we've sanitized our immune systems right out of commission!

ITA V ::yes::

Planet Hollywood? Frankly, I suspect Univeral's offerings would be a better fit for that age, but I'm guessing you can't steer them that way.

Other than City Walk, the them parks don't really have TS places. If I remember my reading, there is one TS in each park:confused:

Morning all! Not a lot going on here. Tomorrow is my first ADR day, though! I'm hoping to make all of them, but I'm reading that some people with split stays are having to call back for the second stay.

Yeah!:yay: Hope they let you make them all at one time!

----------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm at work:sad2: but today I am doing my:

double digit dance:banana::banana::cool1::cool1::dance3::dance3::cheer2::cheer2::yay::yay:
So it can't be a totally bad day right ::yes::

Good afternoon Fockers! Got back from the hospital last night with Omicron and they asked the weirdest question when we were admitting him. They asked "What is the least severe form of discipline you give your child" So I said I give him a dirty look and clear my throat loudly. :rotfl: I hope I got that question right.

I've been reading but too lazy and busy to quote. I too am starting a diet. I started this morning :rolleyes: I am just so tired of my clothes being too tight and I don't have any money to buy new ones. So this only leaves one choice and that is to lose weight (or inches). I don't have a lot of time to excersise so it looks like dieting is it for me, Yuck! I would rather excercise. I am doing a no-sugar, low carb diet. I have found that after I go 3 days without sugar my body craves food less. It is like a natural appetite supression.

My goal is to be a comfortable size 10 (meaning I don't have to lie down to zip my pants and they don't leave red marks around my belly) in 5 weeks.

Congrats to everyone who deserves it and :hug: to everyone who needs one.

I need to start a weight loss plan as well. My clothes are fitting tight and I can't go out and buy more and don't want to go out and buy a biggere size because its just depressing. I've been trying to get walks in but the kids want to come and then they get tired so I need to do it after they are in bed.

*****************************************************

Its raining here and I don't feel like going out in the rain. DR is sitting here talking to his father on the phone and OMG some of the things coming out of his mouth. :rotfl: So far he's told my ex that we gave beer to Santa :confused3, that I called my ex a bum :scared1: and that my ex has to take DR shopping to buy me something for Mother's Day :rotfl:. I'm only getting the one sided conversation and what DR is saying but I can only imagine what my ex is thinking and saying. :scared1: :rotfl2: You gotta love kids and the way they view the world.

My best friend e-mailed me this morning telling me her brother and SIL are expecting. Her brother is like a brother to me and so I was excited for them. I e-mailed my best friend back and said to tell them I said Congrats and then said Congrats to her since she will now be an official aunt. She e-mailed me back and said she is not excited and would rather be a fake aunt to my kids. :confused3 I swear she has jealousy issuses she has to work out. I'm sure by the time the baby is here she will be happy but seriously its getting a little childish.

OK...I'm off to make DR lunch and clean up a bit. He's now upset that he won't get to see his father until the summer time and is just not getting this. :sad2:

High School Graduation? GIrl or Boy? I would go with Cali Grill with a time close to Wishes, but that's just personal opinion
I think it's a boy as I'm sure the question is from Mel :rotfl2:

She has white feet. It’s too bad they don’t make Croc sandals with cleats.
When we were looking at shoes in a golf shop in Florida they did do sandal ones :rotfl2:

Now that you mention it, I think it was V that thought of it.
:thumbsup2

I've been busy with Lindsey and her school. She had 3 field trips last week and then on top of that we had t-ball practice and her games started. :eek:
Wow that was busy!

Yep an exercise book is for school work, it can be blank, lined or graph paper :rotfl2:

Hi everyone! No time to quote. Has anyone heard from Mo????
Hey Missy did you not see where I was asking about graduation meals etc? :rotfl2: Good luck with your teeth, mine were fine :thumbsup2

Hi all! I'm a little weirded out-the first Swine Flu case was at the hospital that was down the street from me when I lived in Mexico in college.
At least you're not there, do you know anyone still there?

I have to say, this is totally working for me! Remember the Motivational Bikini? Well, it has friends now. A whole drawer full of them, lol! First time I've felt good enough about my body to wear a bikini in 15 years.
Fantastic V, keep it up :thumbsup2

Planet Hollywood? Frankly, I suspect Univeral's offerings would be a better fit for that age, but I'm guessing you can't steer them that way. ;)
No I'd better not, I think it's Mel that's asked me the question that's why I'm asking :rotfl2:

Tomorrow is my first ADR day, though! I'm hoping to make all of them, but I'm reading that some people with split stays are having to call back for the second stay.
How would they know???? They don't pull up your details do they?

Jo you are still the BESTEST!!!
LY Rosie :hug:

It wasn't Jo's sister was it?????
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: And wooohoooo on double digits!

They asked "What is the least severe form of discipline you give your child" So I said I give him a dirty look and clear my throat loudly. :rotfl: I hope I got that question right.
Very strange :rotfl2:

I have found that after I go 3 days without sugar my body craves food less. It is like a natural appetite supression.
Wow I wish I could go 3 hours without sugar :rotfl2:

: DR is sitting here talking to his father on the phone and OMG some of the things coming out of his mouth. :rotfl: So far he's told my ex that we gave beer to Santa :confused3, that I called my ex a bum :scared1: and that my ex has to take DR shopping to buy me something for Mother's Day :rotfl:. Yikes and very strange about your friend!!!

Been golfing again, I was hoping it would rain and we wouldn't play but no such luck :rotfl: I played well though so that was fine just hope I didn't use up all my good shots before the scratch competition tomorrow. We played the away match a few weeks ago and won 3 - 2 so as long as we do that again we're through :thumbsup2

LOL Imagine if it was!

Yep an exercise book is for school work, it can be blank, lined or graph paper
:rotfl2:

Yea the poor sales guy had NO CLUE what she wanted.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So far a fairly productive day. I gave away the rest of my cat stuff (litter and some food) on freecycle.org and some lovely woman picked it up. We currently have someone else coming by to buy our DVD player we have had on sale for a few weeks! That just leaves a few ebay auctions and a set of sony speakers to be rid of! YAY!
We cleaned the windows today and swept up and did some other general cleaning.
I'm kinda cranky cause it's the week aunt flo should be dropping by, and KC is suffering the brunt of that- poor guy. I think that coupled with waiting on the vet to call about Bale's ashes is just grating on me.
Anywho, i'm gonna post my Mini TR in another post...coming up!
The main plan was just to stay out and about and not stay home, since it's super lonely without my kitty in the house.
I was up early that morning, straightened my hair and was out the door around 10:30am. After a quick stop at Dunkin Donut's for some coffee (ahh life blood) I was on the subway on my way to NYC.
My first stop was lunch with our very good friend, Pants. I had to get off at a station I don't normally use so I asked directions and got to his building easily. Apparently he works directly across from Ground Zero! It's such an errie feelign down there, even now.
Of course I snapped a pic while I waited on the steps of his building.
2184962040070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
We had lunch at Subway and shared a sammie and great conversation. He's a great listener, and I know thats why he is KC's BFF.
I left him around 1:30 and got back on the subway headed up town. I got off at 5th Ave and 60th street, which is right by Central Park and The Plaza Hotel.
These were in bloom across from The Plaza. So pretty!
2483945770070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
I wandered a few blocks down and headed for the closest thing I could find to the Happiest Place On Earth....a little slice of Disney in NYC.
2343430810070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
A closer look (but still take from across the street)
2772763330070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
Even closer look...
The right side window.
2316822400070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
I wandered around a bit, taking some pictures. I got some weird looks from people but WHATEVER!
The weird (to me) vinylamation (or whatever they are called) thingies had this display.
2260773410070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
I made my rounds downstairs scoping out possible purchases. I saw a mug with Tink on it I almost bought! It was her in the morning with a sleep mask on, all disheveled, and it said "mornings are not magical". There was a whole series of them and they were funny! BUT I have like 5 Disney mugs lol.
In my travels Is aw my friend that works there, BUT she was behind the register so I didn't get to say HI.
I did find something new that I never saw before:
2873719620070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
It's the view through the window upstairs of the outside statues. I thought it was neat and made a cool pic!
As you go up and down the escalators there are neat pillars, this one is the ode to the wilderness lodge, I think.
2825879780070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
I made my way through all 3 floors and found my purchases. On the line to checkout I saw this and had to shoot a pic.
2721957240070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
So after I paid I went downstairs to use the bathroom because it's usually a very clean bathroom. Thankfully it still was.
There are actually some neat paintings down there. So naturally i took some pics.
And this one's for you , Lessa. (ignore the bathroom sign, lol)
2643495730070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
I also checked out the little seen side windows around the corner and saw this, I had also never seen it before.
2909195040070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
It's actually the backside of the elevator inside. Neato.
Wanna see what I bought????
2837610800070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
I got the white chocolate cocoa for KC (his fav of their flavors), a Boo charm to put on my cell phone, the I heart NY note pad (on sale $1.99) and my fav- My first Jim Shore Tinkerbell!!! What did I pay for everything? $5.73!!!! I had Disney Reward Dollars leftover so I used 'em on me!
So I made my way downtown. I decided to walk rather than spend another $2 to get on the subway. It was nice out and I got to stroll.
I did see this, which was freakin' weird.
2054985680070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
Guy carrying a giant soccer ball down the block. Only in NY. :sad2:
I ended up visiting some old wrestling friends at work and waiting for them to get off work. We ended up strolling down to 34th street and chatting. Then I did a bit of wandering and shopping in the Herald Square area.
I had a view of this the whole time.
2035001980070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
Usually the colors are cooler, it was a bland night for the Empire State Building I guess.
I ended up at my favorite destination in that area:
2922616180070748021S600x600Q85.jpg
Borders, next to Madison Square Garden. They need more comphy seating but it's nice just the same. I sat and read and drank some coffee. And I randomly ended up running into a friend of ours, Steven. He and I chatted for a long while , while waiting for KC to get off work (he works 3 blocks away). it was nice to have someone to chat with.
When KC finally finished with work (about 9pm) we parted with our friends and went home.
And thats my veeeery looong day in NYC! Hope you enjoyed!
kay- I just found out about your kitty!:hug::hug::hug::sad1:
I know it must be hard. I know how it feels to lose an animal suddenly or without warning. Until recently i had never lost a human family member. My grandpa died very very quickly after being diagnosed with cancer. It was terribly painful, but even through all of that i still find that i become overcome with grief more easily thinking about my pets. You dont necessarily think of them as growing old, and as your furbabies, you still have that feeling that they should always be around. No parent should ever see their children leave them.:hug: Hopefully the pain will lessen. What will you be doing with the ashes?
The puppy and marc are gone for the next few days, or maybe the week. I got potts (GP) a new hideout for her cage. I think shes liking me more.:rolleyes: yesterday was the first time ive gone grocery shopping since before st patricks day! i had so much stuff that my whole car was stuffed! remember that its a small bug, so a pack of toilet paper from costco takes up most the back seat. but i also had a big dog bed. :scared:
Oh ya, ill join the club on the weight loss topic. I gained about 20 lbs. after i started a new medicine. I started to work it off, but when i left for my college program it pretty much went all down hill. Recently ive just been watching my calories and i think ive lost about 7 lbs. of course we all know inches are what counts, but i havent been tracking as closely.
have a good night everyone! Im off to study 80 families of mammals.
BTW did you guys know that the Hyrax is the closest living relative to the elephants, It is a small rodent with evergrowing tusk like front teeth.
They asked "What is the least severe form of discipline you give your child" So I said I give him a dirty look and clear my throat loudly. :rotfl: I hope I got that question right.
What a weird question. I wonder what they would have done if you said you tied him to the bed and beat him with a belt:eek::confused3
Was it a sleep study he was having done?
I think it's a boy as I'm sure the question is from Mel :rotfl2:[/QUPTE]
Has Mel confessed yet?
Yep an exercise book is for school work, it can be blank, lined or graph paper :rotfl2:
That's a copybook!
Been golfing again, I was hoping it would rain and we wouldn't play but no such luck
What is the world coming too that you don't want to play golf!:eek::confused3:lmao:
Def let me know, July is looking better and better! I'll be so happy if we can actually pull off the meet!
TAlked with Jim and any of those last 3 Saturday's in July are good, as long as I don't gamble;) Which I won't. I will dr that the week my mother is home:laughing:
It's such an errie feelign down there, even now.
::yes:: The NYC Probation Department is not far from there and I had to go there for a meeting 2 years ago. Very eerie!
I wandered a few blocks down and headed for the closest thing I could find to the Happiest Place On Earth....a little slice of Disney in NYC.
:love:
Guy carrying a giant soccer ball down the block. Only in NY. :sad2:
:rotfl2:
And thats my veeeery looong day in NYC! Hope you enjoyed!
Sounds like alot of fun Kat!:thumbsup2
BTW did you guys know that the Hyrax is the closest living relative to the elephants, It is a small rodent with evergrowing tusk like front teeth.
:scared::rotfl2:
Man, I feel like I'm never here anymore.....
Well, today was nutso. I cleaned the house, then went to the gym. I biked 9 miles on Tuesday, 6 yesterday and 7 today. I wanted to do 30 miles this week but I didn't make it. Oh well.
No, I haven't confessed to asking the question yet, but it was ME! LOL.
I want to plan a trip for SD's graduation in 2011 but I am not sure that he'll want to do that for his graduation. So, we're thinking maybe a cruise? Or maybe U.S. Just wondered if there were things that I'd missed that maybe a grad would like. :confused3
Kat: Your pics were cool. Sounds like fun.
Lori: Hello! Long time no see!
Angela: How are you doing without Mitch around?
Jo: Hope you get a break from all that hard work, er um...I mean golf. :rotfl2:
Sorry if I missed a ton of you. I'm too tired to think straight. Thanks for all the well wishes for tomorrow. I'm not worried at all about the teeth. They're up and through the gums so no cutting, and no stitches. :thumbsup2
LY all.
