Bet you'll never guess who my person was...:rolleyes1
Errrrr Donald? :rotfl2:

We can walk to the stadium and I don't want to get stuck walking home in the rain.
So did you go?

That was cool. It took 26 questions to get it right...but then it said that I gave the wrong answers!:rotfl2:
It did that to me too :rotfl2:

:laughing: I had one like that and it said the same thing. Hey I'm sorry but Epcot is not "tall". :snooty:
A few of the Q's were a bit bizarre :rotfl2:

I've been meaning to call her back, but haven't. I figured she'd call if she knew something.
Hope he's OK and how was your night out?

WITCHY POO herself has to take over ALL my clients
Fantastic, serves her right :rotfl2:

The poor boy lugged a reg 27 inch tv from his brothers job in NYC to Brooklyn, on the subway, on a hand truck with a flat , only to find out it was broken and now we cant use it. I think our tv works just fine but he wants a better one. He was not thrilled.
Poor boy, that must have been so annoying!

We're home from date night. We ended up going to a Canadian-themed steakhouse. They have elk and bison, but we both had beef. It reminded me a bit of Le Cellier, but the ambience was better and the food was cheaper. The mashed potatoes I had weren't quite as good as the ones at LC, but the meal was still yummy.
Sounds lovely!

My anxiousness is back tonight. No idea what brought it on so I am just sitting here feeling sorry for myself. :guilty: I need to get a life. :rolleyes:
Oh Lessa :hug:

I wasn'tgoing to tell but I have some sad news my 16yr old cat died today ! They called me at work. DSIL took him out to bury him by some water he thought that would be nice !!I'm so sad but he was old and he died at home !
Rosie I'm so sorry :hug:

The kids had a ball and Jimmy fell asleep in 5 minutes
Fantastic and good luck to Jimmy tomorrow!

Cute, DD looks as though she's grown!

Well we had a lovely meal last night but then I got a funny tummy which spoilt the rest of the night! The girls both had fun at their sleepovers, Ellie is in bed now as she hardly slept last night!

You mean there really are Canadian restaurants. (other than in Canada and Epcot)

Aww Lessa:hug:
We just got home from Atlantic Beach. We got one rain band Friday morning and that was it....other than a stiff breeze. How is everyone else doing?

Welcome Back S'late!

:hug: It's so hard to let them go:hug:
HI all.
It rained the whole day but the real bad rain didn't come until after the party. The kids had a ball and Jimmy fell asleep in 5 minutes:woohoo:

Glad the worst held out until after the party:thumbsup2

World War 2 movie....eh. Not really my thing. But, I do these things for my honey!

I love WW2 movies, use to watch them all the time with Dad.

They are growing, but Jim is leaning a bit.

When they showed him at Atlantic Beach with a pier in the background, we knew it would be easy (there are only two piers left at Atlantic Beach). First we tried the Oceanic and 10 cars pulled in behind us. Those same 10 followed us to the Sheraton where we found him...surrounded by a bunch of drunk 50 year old ladies.

Oh, and Jo, there were a couple of folks Shaggin on the beach. ;)

Jodi, I am so glad you went out and had a good meal. We will try Le Cellier this trip, sounds like we need to try the potatoes.

Jo, I hope your tummy feels better today. I remember not sleeping at sleepovers that was the best part, staying up all night!!

Well, I am a football widow again and not even married :rotfl:. My b/f is immersed in fantasy football land right now making sure he has his teams set up the way he wants them :confused3 . He is in front of the computer clicking away with his Peyton Manning jersey on :rotfl2: .

He should know better than to leave me alone with a computer and our October and November Disney schedules in front of me. The "can't leave the ADR's alone itis" got me last night and I changed some things around for October, now the November ones are beckoning me. I need to learn to leave them alone. They seriously should have a way you can call in and lock them and not be allowed to change them.

I know everyone already reads to much on the DIS, but if you want to read yet another PTR, there is a link to our October trip in my siggy line. We are taking a newbie this time!!

Hope everyone has a great day!!

Rain Rain Rain. I'm so sick of Rain! So we are staying in and cleaning up and siting down and working out our budget so we can save for another trip eventually and KCs all coveted flat screen TV.

The poor boy lugged a reg 27 inch tv from his brothers job in NYC to Brooklyn, on the subway, on a hand truck with a flat , only to find out it was broken and now we cant use it. I think our tv works just fine but he wants a better one. He was not thrilled.

Anyways i'm off to make breakfast for dinner.

Awwww, poor KC. Hope he can get his new TV soon!

Sounds like good food and a good time!

We just got home from Atlantic Beach. We got one rain band Friday morning and that was it....other than a stiff breeze. How is everyone else doing?

We took a mini vacation that was altered somewhat by Hanna. Our first stop was in Aurora, NC to visit the fossil museum. We didn't make it there before they closed, so we just hunted for shark's teeth for a few hours. Then we took a ferry over to civilization and continued on to the beach. We had planned to go to Ocracoke and up to Corolla to see the wild horses, but we will have to make that another time. I'll post the pic of the Loud Children with Jim Cantore. OMG! Y'all wouldn't believe how many drunk 50+ year old women were going goo goo over that man.

Sounds fun! Makes me want to head for a beach.

ANother busy day planned tomorrow. Have to go grocery shopping, do laundry and get my baby ready for his first day of school:sad1:

Sounds like the party was a success!

Oh how cute! Love how your DD is holding the microphone looking like she's ready to give a report.

Well we had a lovely meal last night but then I got a funny tummy which spoilt the rest of the night! The girls both had fun at their sleepovers, Ellie is in bed now as she hardly slept last night!

Sounds like a good night, except for the tummy bug.

I know the feeling. I'm hoping I can get all my posting in before 12:30 hits. My brother will be over for the Steelers game and he'll be on the computer changing all his fantasy football things around before games start.

Good afternoon everyone!

I'm about to get the kids dressed in their Steeler gear and head down to the store real quick to get things for lunch this week and for the game at 1.

During football Sunday it's our tradition to pick up a veggie and meat tray, chips, dips, and desserts and just graze all day on it.

Be back on later! Have a good one! :)

Hope he's OK and how was your night out?

He's doing OK. No more bleeding for the moment and he looks better. They may even send him back down to rehab... I feel a little like Chicken Little - I keep getting all worked up, then nothing ends up happening. ;)

Last night was good!

Well we had a lovely meal last night but then I got a funny tummy which spoilt the rest of the night! The girls both had fun at their sleepovers, Ellie is in bed now as she hardly slept last night!

Oooh, sorry about the tummy! Yucko.

I know everyone already reads to much on the DIS, but if you want to read yet another PTR, there is a link to our October trip in my siggy line. We are taking a newbie this time!!

I'll try to get over! :)

I enjoy watching football too. I seem to think that they can here me yelling at them through the screen sometimes :rolleyes1, so I limit my viewing :rotfl:.

:laughing: Glad I'm not the only one... ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, last night was really good. We had good food and sat and listened to the rain pour down.
It was crazy, though - I got up to get more wine :rolleyes1 at some point, and glanced at the clock. OMG, it was already 12:25! No one had ANY idea. Oops!
So we got home really late.
Here's the whole group - we propped the camera up on the mantel:
IMG_3587.jpg
D left about an hour ago. He'll be back really early Wed. morning and then will leave Thurs. afternoon, until next Sunday.
The boys are wanting to play with the neighbors, and it's a gorgeous day, so I think we'll just have a quiet day at home. :thumbsup2
Good Morning All ! Thanks forthe:hug: I am still sad but I really did know it was coming !!He was originally DD's cat she got him right after High School. She left him with me when the girls were born as twins were a handful!!:scared1: Then when they were older she took him again for about 2 weeks . He hid in the cellar and cried all night and only cameout if I came over Soo back he came and was on me like glue .So he was special to me !!
Lessa - Hope you were able to get some sleep.:hug: Um, can we have more about the frosh falling into the moat:eek: :lmao:
Rosie - ANother for you too:hug:
Mel - Hope SD is doing good today:hug:
Jen - How did the sleepover go?
MrsK - I'm a football widdow too. Thanks God the Eagels are winning or my day would be miserable:sad2:
CE - Love the group shot, is that all the twins group people?:confused3
Slate - Love the pic of the loud children with Jim. Was he nice?
Hi Lori and Jo:wave2:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Woke up early and got the grocery shopping done, came home got the laundry put away and broguht the rest down to the basement to get done. Jimmy's uniform is all ready for his first day of school and all of his stuff has been labeled appropriately.
Jim is watching the Eagels game, Jimmy is playing, and I have a few minutes to Dis while I do the luandry.
Hope everyone is having a great Sunday!:goodvibes
CE - Love the group shot, is that all the twins group people?:confused3
Yes! We're missing two of the parents, but that's quite a few of us. Of course, we don't know how and when we'll meet now that almost all of them are in first grade. :(
But we won't give up our parents night! :rotfl: I'm hosting next month. :thumbsup2
OK, I have no life. Jim is watching the Eagles game and Jimmy is playing with his toys so what I am doing in between loads of laundry? I am looking at restaurant selections for next August:sad2:
Here are the places we are considering...
Rainforest Cafe at AK
50's Prime Time
Mama Melrose's
TOny's Town Square
Chef Mickey's
Kona Cafe (I am getting Tonga Toast some day)
Jim and I were talking and we are not going to do as many TS meals and probably only 1 or 2 character meals as Jimmy just wasn't into it this year, then again next year he could be completely into it.
So what are your opinions on the above. Since I have 11 months you all know these are just the first draft:lmao:
Jen - How did the sleepover go?
Just great. Gotta love boys. Stinky prenage boys. :scared:
I'm watching the game too. I'm a HUGE St. Louis fan. Have been since they were the LA Rams. The guy that just scored on Philly, Hank Baskett, is from here in Clovis. I used to babysit him. :lmao: His family are good friends. He's like a hometown hero here!
I loooooove RFC. Love it. It's my favorite place in AK.
And Chef Mickey's. I really think it's worth it. The kids love it.
