I still can't BELIEVE we lost to ECU.........Ab went to the game and it was H-O-T (never mind that we used to live there, it's still hot in Charlotte!).
We had the lead till close to 2 minutes and then lost.
But we'll win in Blacksburg, for sure!

(Ab's not dating her KY boyfriend anymore, so I don't get the updates! He has season passes to all the games.)

That would be so annoying! I hope everything got sorted and you get your laundry back.

They had a new driver and he apparently decided not to deliver the bag to us, so at about midnight (its a 24 hour place) KC went to get it so we could have clean sheets to sleep on.

I called out from work yesterday because they pissed me off. The working conditions were absolutely horrendous and I got mad so called out due to spite. They're doing construction in our area.....again after having been displaced for about 2 months and now they decided to throw us back out of our area and stick us in the middle of the hospital hallway entrance along with all the patients right next to us. Absolutely ridiculous! They could've found a much better solution while the renovation is going on but they have complete morons in charge. So I chilled with the Mother unit and we went grocery shopping and hit up Kmart who was having a sale, my mom bought shirts for like $1.80 each. Unfortunately I'll be heading back to work tonight then later on this week I have a meeting for a possible promotion. I really wish I could get another job, but the employment out there sucks right now.

Harry Potter Rocks!! I almost felt bad when I trampled those kids to get the last book! I can't believe there are people on the earth that have not read those books yet. Have you taken Twilight series for a spin yet?

I have read the Potter books 3 times and I think I can def re-read them again and again. If anyone hasn't read them - you must!!!!!!!!

Another day of just trying to get back to life. We filed the fridge and cabinets with $150 worth of food, got the laundry put away and watched some movies. We just got HBO & Showtime so I am loving having movies on my DVR (how lazy am I lol).

Anyone else excited about Gossip Girl and One Tree Hill coming back this wek?? And the new 90210!?

Any plans for labor day????

We played Louisville.. I'll take that win ANYTIME and call it a good season .. Football or Basketball.

I could not believe that VT LOST THAT GAME.. but they are not getting off to a great start with players, injuries, and legal trouble

I thought I remembered that AB had broken up with the UK Guy.

I do not expect to have that Pawprint or any cheerleaders come out again.. But I can always hope.

On a good Tech note, I got tix to this Saturday's game!! I LOVE being in B-burg on game day!

I do not think I could go to any UK athletics Games or VT Football. Even if I was in Lexinton Ky again I would not go.
I do not handle crowds that well anymore... and the parking.. I walked into EVERY GAME I went to at UK FREE. My dorm was just across the field from The Stadium and Busses dropped us off at a "Special Door" for Basketball.

I would be O.K.. ONCE I was IN the Stadium... It's Just Getting there
Can Not imagine Visiting NY NY Much less Living there.. I take my hat off to you Kat.. "You Da Queen"
So I am spoiled.

Sometimes the Disney Crowds get to be too much for me. It got bad after kids and when I quit working to stay home with them.
I will not go shopping at Christmas on a Weekend. I STAY AWAY from Valley View at All Costs.... and try to get to Wal-Mart before 9:00 am during "The Season".

i lived near pittsburgh my entire life, but never became a steelers fan, don't know why really i always like the redskins when i was a kid.

First, YES! Totally agree on this! I love the Potter books and I think I'll read them again (all of them!) soon...

Don't watch Gossip Girl or One Tree Hill (worth it?) but am excited to see the new version of 90210. I loved the original too and I'm just sad that Tori won't be on it.

No plans yet. My mom arrived today and we might take the boys to the wave pool tomorrow briefly. Nothing else though. We're boring...

Bob wants to get out the Mustang and take her for a spin tomorrow.

Nothing exciting happening here. Had drinks in the gazeebo with B and P. My mom played Scrabble with the kids. And today was the first day in WEEKS that SD didn't have a single twinge of anxiety. Things are definitely looking up. And if they all go straight to H E Double Hockey Stix tomorrow, than I'm okay with that. At least he had a good day today!!!!

My mom is making strawberry pancakes for b-fast tomorrow am. YUM.
