Oh, CE, that's a hard one. I think all you can do is honor her wishes right now. It's so much to deal with. You'll be there for her in time. But right now she has asked to be left alone. I'm sure she knows you're thinking of her, and would do what you can, but if she's said no calls, I guess you have to wait. And the waiting is awful.![]()

To you and your friend.
Thanks.

I think that you should respect her wishes...but let her know you are there for her. Send her a card...or drop her an e-mail...or maybe a little gift just saying that when she is ready...you are there.
Thanks.

Oh forgot to comment:
CE - That is a tough situation with your friend. I understand your wanting to do something for her but still respect her wishes it is a hard place to be. Here's a hug for you and your friend.![]()
Thanks, Lessa.

Don't call. Really, if she asked specifically, she needs to not talk right now. That said, maybe send off a card or note or cookie-gram to say you're thinking about her?![]()
Thanks, V.

I agree with just sending her a card or a little happy. When she's back home and things have calmed down, she's going to need you more.![]()
Thanks, Angela.
