Okay, I just realized that I totally forgot to post my question of the day. I still have a few more hours left, so here it is:

How far along are you in your holiday shopping? Are you done, haven't started yet or somewhere in between?

NCS is the initials of our home business. Northstar Computer Systems. We run a web hosting and design company. DH does all the technical stuff. I just do the billing and pay the bills. I picked the username because my DH was already ncseric. I figured that way we'd match....

And I've got a sweet puppy dog named Max. He's a Sheltie and I think I posted a few pages ago that we just got some bloodwork back for him on Friday that has us a bit concerned. His liver enzyme levels are high and we don't know why. So, right now, I'm keeping track of his water intake on a daily basis for the vet.

ALT and Alkaline Phosphatase. They're both well over double the normal levels. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but I know it's not good. The vet said that since he's acting fine, we have some time to figure it out. So, we're doing the cheap (aka free) diagnostic tests first before doing the expensive ones.

Sorry I've been gone today. I had a bit of a meltdown last night and I haven't been chatty today. I don't want to talk about it, so let's move on.

I'm sorry I've missed almost all your day, Jodi.

If I could makeover one room it would be to redo my bathroom. Our house is only 2 yrs. old, but whoever picked the wall tile was drinking, I think. The floor tile is so nice, so it's weird.

Lori- Yes, I will add you and Kristel both. Sorry about that.

Jodi- I love "Yours" by Steven Curtis Chapman too- especially now that he added the new verse.

Flat Dawn must be more of a lightweight than I am!

Deb- I like the way you think, girl! I'm not jiggly, I'm helpful. If all the food sources disappear, I can maintain a flippin' village on what I've stored up. I'm generously portioned!!!

I wanted to do a few back to school things with the kids today. So, I've spent a lot of time doing that today.
Here's a picture of what we (meaning me once everyone ditched me) did...

I twirled the names of the people I made them for and the team name. From the top row going right I made one for: my MIL, A, C, and me. Then on the bottom row, I made one for my cousin, one for each of the dance team directors (team name up top and director's name on bottom), and B. They will all have ribbons eventually except A's. He's too tough for ribbons, man. The kids will enjoy using them for tests and other schoolwork.


We also made cupcakes like these. Mine were eaten, already! So this is from Family Fun's site.

I'm back from the fair! Exhausted, feel swollen and tired... BELLY full! We ate way too much. But I had a twisted dole whip cone for all of you! Pineapple and Raspberry. O almost didn't find the stand because the Republican booth is right behind where it usually is. Since the Republican convention is here next week... they MADE the DOLE WHIP move. Blasphemy!

Yesterdays Question of the Day: If I could have a room makeover... I would choose my basement. I'd get it finished! As of now it is 1500 square feet of... nothing... but toys and bins of children's clothing... which is waiting for me to have baby #3... which I am cut off of!


Todays Question of the Day: I am 0% done with my shopping. Well I take that back a titch... We bought my brother a computer before he left for Chile. With the computer he was able to get an IPOD TOUCH. I let him take the IPOD and made him hand over the box, before he left, so that I can wrap it and put it under the tree. Thats all he gets from us. And he WILL like it.

Considering that we leave for WDW the day before Thanksgiving, I should get my butt in gear!

I have started I have almost got all the girls stocking stuffers thanks to CVS and their BOGO's and ecbs. I have a Wii for the 3 kids already, but haven't got much else other than all the bargains I picked up after Christmas last year!!
