:banana:

Well the house is cleanish and the packing is just about done, I didn't think I'd fit it all in but I did :thumbsup2 I'm sure I've forgotten something though :rotfl2:
As long as it's not a swimsuit or underwear you're forgetting, you shoud be good! ;)

Have fun, are you getting good now?

I can hit the ball well when the pro is telling us what is coming, but when we start to play little games against each other in class, I am still having trouble knowing where to be on the court. They all say it will come, though, and the others last night said I did really well for how long I've been playing, so... :confused3 But I figure the only way to get better is to play. :thumbsup2

Reminds me, too - we have a DVD of a Flat Stanley that D took to Vietnam, Poland, and Turkey last fall for one of the dispatcher's kids. Do you want a copy of that, even if it's not "your" Flat Stanley? And even though it's international? I am sure I can burn one. The flight attendant put it all to music and stuff - it's very cool.

D has guilted me into going for a run (he thinks he wants to do a marathon, possibly even the WDW one, so he just went on his turn) and so I'll be back in a bit! :faint:

Mostly state since we're doing a state project. But if you throw in some local, that'd be fun too!
I think by the end of October is what we said. Anytime you're ready, send it over though. :goodvibes

Sure!!! I'd love anything educational I can get my hands on! :woohoo:

Morning ladies. I am out of my fog a bit more today. P will be here for the last day tomorrow and then it will be just me and Bug until school starts. I have lots to do next week and then the following week is WDW. Thanks again for all the hugs and kind words and stories. I am have been reading here but have been so out of it I honestly do not remember much of what I have read. I hope all are well and if I am missing anything major I am terribly sorry.

I need to take dd to get some more shorts. I have been asking her for weeks what she has and what she needs and she has been nothing but attitude and I do not mean the good kind. I finally just lost it yesterday and told her it was not hard to simply get the shorts she has out and let me see them and tell me what fits and what doesn't and decide what more she needs. Well when all is said and done she has one pair of shorts she really likes and will wear, one pair that is actually long capri style and in my opinion too hot for the trip, and one pair that is white and she doesn't like much but will wear if in a pinch. She then told me she was arguing with me because she didn't want to admit I was right and she needed more shorts. Teens got to love them.

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better. :hug:

I have the problem that B's picked up on my fruglaness and will actaully cry when I try to buy things for her. She gets upset that I'm spending money on her. :sad2: Crazy kid. I tell her if she needs something I want to get it for her, but she gets so upset. It's not very fun to shop with her. :headache:

This reminds me. Flat Stanley is going to Greenfield village next week and in Sept or early Oct he will do a short tour of Lansing and MSU. He is very excited to wear his green and white.

I've got those :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

Ugggggh have fun :rolleyes1

Teens got to love them.
Can't wait :eek: :rotfl2: I've just had the shorts talk with Ellie as we're packing and she only wanted to take 2 pairs :sad2:

Nana is the opposite she thinks it is just plain wrong to buy a shirt with out getting a necklace and bracelet that matches. I keep expecting her to call the fashion police and report a crime.

I'm so glad we homeschool, b/c I was just reading in the paper that in our school district you can't wear shirts of tank tops! :eek: Is that true where you guys are?
I don't know that my girls own much else. It's 100 here. Who would where tees and pants?! :faint:

Dad and Nana are both on Coumadin---you have to have monthly blood checks for the level, and you have to be very careful even with little scratches or cuts or you will bleed a lot (he carries lots of bandaids, etc when he farms). FYI--it's a pretty cheap generic, warfarin.....actually rat poison which dad found interesting.

Did you have to tell me that:eek:

Actually thanks for the tips about caryying bandaids. I will make sure to tell my mom that one!

Well, actually I'm back online cause I got a new keyboard and mouse since Bear ate my old ones. ........and then Ab's laptop decided to crap out due to Webkinz overload..............so finally back online!

Poor Bear...Try tabasco sauce...that is what our vet recommended for Tink, although she liked it:sad2:

:mad: I'm on hold with Acer right now......at least he speaks English.........I bet he'll say it's a non covered "software" problem tho........bets anyone???

Oooh, we haven't had to had any bets in a while. Odds are that they tell TE it is a software problem: 2:1:thumbsup2 :lmao:

AHEM!!

You guys are just too hard to keep up with!

ED! The way things have been going around here lately we definitely need you around more often...WE NEED DRINKS!;)

Ahem.

I know, I know...I try to keep up with you ladies, but it ain't easy!

:hug:

Everyone else.... I can't wait to meet you all sooo soon from now!:woohoo:

:woohoo:

Well, we ended up being at the club from 3:30 to 7:30 - D met us over there after my long lesson and we had dinner. I didn't have to cook, which was a bonus, but it was a long afternoon.

It's finally looking like a nice day today, but of course I have errands. I have to pick up prescriptions and some trip stuff (band-aids, suncreen, etc.) at Target, then the boys desperately need new tennis shoes - we've been in Crocs most of the summer and ALL of the last 3 weeks, so when they put on their shoes for their tennis yesterday it was actually painful. Whoops! :rotfl2:

I need new Teva flips for WDW, too - last year mine were perfect, but that was May - I'd not worn them much before we left. My new ones for this year aren't new anymore, so they've lost some "cush" if you KWIM.

Then I have tennis again late this afternoon.

D has elected to stay home today (rather than go to the office, he's not flying) and I don't know if that's better or worse. :rotfl: The boys HAVE to come to get their shoes, but otherwise I could ditch them with him for the other errands/tennis. It means coordination, though, and sometimes it's easier to just go do my stuff, you know?

Have a great day, all! :grouphug:

Is tennis the new golf:confused3 ;) :rotfl2:

\Sorry I haven't been around - I do read the thread, but in all honesty I haven't had the time to keep up. You ladies chat too much! Especially that Janet! :lmao: ;)

I am really starting to get a complex:headache:

Well the house is cleanish and the packing is just about done, I didn't think I'd fit it all in but I did :thumbsup2 I'm sure I've forgotten something though :rotfl2:

Weel, it's about time...you leave tomorrow right!!!!:woohoo:

Oh Janet has slowed WAAAAYYYY DOWN... Dawn has somewhere around 107 and Janet only has 77 on the thread at this point...:rotfl: And I am close behind... 72 :yay:

Seeeeeeeee...it's not my fault!:banana:

Nana is the opposite she thinks it is just plain wrong to buy a shirt with out getting a necklace and bracelet that matches. I keep expecting her to call the fashion police and report a crime.

Somewhere in the middle would be nice, right? :rolleyes:

:headache: How'd I miss this post? :mad:

Nah, I don't care if I'm the chattiest (Probably not a word, huh?) I am trying to beat Janet so you guys won't pick on her anymore. :angel: :hug: :laughing:

I do believe the saying is "chatty Kathy", though, isn't it? :lmao:

I don't expect my chatting to slow down anytime soon since I'm home all day, bored with no adult interaction. :snooty:

:mad: I'm on hold with Acer right now......at least he speaks English.........I bet he'll say it's a non covered "software" problem tho........bets anyone???:rolleyes:

You know if you need some tech support the hubby is usually available in the evenings and he's cheap! ;)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So everyone canceled on me today for going to the city, which is just as well. I need to finish up all my packing and printing and anything else on the PC because kc is off for the next 2 days then working the weekend from home.
The to do list grows and in a mere 5 days i'll be outtie!!!! :woohoo:
And stupid aunt flo hasn't come for her visit, i think she wants to go on vacation too, and I want her to stay home!:confused3
I'm so glad we homeschool, b/c I was just reading in the paper that in our school district you can't wear shirts of tank tops! :eek: Is that true where you guys are?
I don't know that my girls own much else. It's 100 here. Who would where tees and pants?! :faint:
They can wear tanks that are not spaghetti straps---2 or 3 finger widths apart. They have to cover their camis. I think the dress code here is not strict enough personally.
+++++++++
Well, they said the hard drive was crashing so apparently it IS covered, 'cept I have to mail it to Temple, TX. They will either fix it or send us a new one.
Thanks kat--I'll keep that in mind----the screen is totally black and the hard drive button is blinking. :confused3 The Acer guy couldn't find another fix.
+++++++++++
Janet--knowing Bear....he will like the Tabasco sauce--he seems to eat anything! Can't wait to get my new camera cord so I can download pics of him again!
Do not feed the bear:
......iron cord
......camera cord
......keyboard cord
......mouse cord
......new coffee table
......4 pairs flip flops
Good thing he's so cute! :goodvibes
+++++++++++
kat--stayed up late and finished breaking dawn. Ab and i were disapointed in the ending.......what did u think??
