Angela, you are so pretty!! I love the hair, I need to do something with mine asap.

Thanks! I wanted the color like Heidi Collins on CNN but I wasn't sure about the cut. It's the same as it was except 4 inches shorter.

Well witchy poo was told, very clearly, I am not moving to the new building with her. Um, she was less than happy:lmao: The move will happen in the next few weeks:yay: :yay: :yay: Oh and I am very happy about this:woohoo::woohoo:

Yippee! :banana:

CE: I used to hate that last minute call, "I'm not coming home tonight..." Now, I look forward to it. Oh, that sounds awful, doesn't it?! :laughing: But, when you are used to having SOME alone time, not cooking a big meal, and not worrying if you aren't in pretty jammies it messes you up to have to do that all the time! Right? Yeah, me too! :goodvibes

You still wear pretty jammies? Good for you! ;)

:hug: for you & SD.

Go ELI!!!!!! That's the only reason I root for the Giants is that he's Peyton's brother!

I started out that way, but hey Eli is doing very well, so now I am just starting to like him for himself :rotfl:.

Jodi: Bob is worried, but because he's a guy, he hides it better. He's more the FIRM supportive type...sounds like a jock strap.....:lmao:

He's not thrilled about the meds, but he's just worried about Sd....

Grrrr... Mama bear's cranky. :mad:
A had baseball practice tonight. It's supposed to be from 7:00-7:30. Then K would go pick up B at dance by 8. I went to get B tonight because C's drama class isn't starting until next week.

K called at 8:15 and told me they were still at practice and he didn't know how long it would be. I was ticked. WTH?! 5 & 6 year old boys don't need to have an hour and half of practice, especially on a school night! Tomorrow he's going to be a real stinker! :headache:

K's defending the coach and saying it's the time they gave us, not the coach. Whatever... if it's supposed to be over at 7:30, then be over at 7 stinkin' thirty!

Now K's mad at me for yelling and I'm mad his on the coach's side. Stupid baseball.

The girls are in the Peach Festival Cheerleading contest tomorrow night. So I have another busy day, 6 am work with luck out by noon( some Dis time ) and then off to Lewiston for the Festival. Good thing is they have lots of yummy food, salt potatoes, gumbos, po'boys along with all the usual carnival foods, lots of crafts too so after the contest we get to enjoy. I just have to watch dozens of cheerleaders in order to see the girls , but they love it and it is good excercise and discipline

Well, I went back to Barbieville Tuesday only to find a completely new staff! :eek: 2 of the Medical Assistants have given their notice and 1 of the Front office girls up and quit. We have 1 new MA and 1 student MA, 2 new front office girls and 1 student front office girl. When I got in, one of the new front office girls was sitting at my computer - beyotch! :mad: I had to kick her off, in the nicest way possible. :lmao:

The doctor is as crazy as ever as is one of the office managers. I still like it there, crazy as that sounds! :scared:

I have sooooo missed you AND Barbieville! :rotfl2: :thumbsup2

Here's my new hair. The photo is better of my hair than of me. :rolleyes:

CIMG0304.jpg

OMGosh Angela...you little hottie!! Your hair looks great!

Psych. went well. She recommended that we move up the psychiatrist (we did, it's now the 18th) and that we continue with the plan at school. Also, she told Sd to take a valium tonight. He didn't sleep well last night and she said that right now it's more important for him to sleep so he's at least WELL RESTED to deal with school. I agree! And he's going to go to the classes he missed today and yesterday, after school tomorrow, to get his work and let the teachers know that he's trying to not get behind!

I am going to email them and give them a heads up right now....

Hope you guys had a good day!

MEL:banana:

Things will look up. I know it honey! :hug:

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well, I got my hair cut. Only, I was so itchy and scratchy from hair that I came home and forgot to take a pic. So, after I do my hair in the morning I"ll snap one and post it!
I'm having my carpet cleaned in the morning. And then I'm becoming a grandmother tomorrow at 11:30.
:eek:
My nieces are having a grandparents lunch tomorrow at school. My dad is going to one of their classrooms, but I'm going to the other one's class to fill in for a grandma! So, I'm officially a grandma for an hour tomorrow. :eek:
As for Project Runway, not only is Blayne on my last nerve but so is SUede. That talking in 3rd person is getting on my last nerve!
I was so glad Stella went ::yes::
90210, OMG I loved it, love the mixing of old characters. Did you see the preview for next week, Kelly's and Erin's mom is back too.
I never really watched the first go around, so I am not that interested in this one:confused3
Well witchy poo was told, very clearly, I am not moving to the new building with her. Um, she was less than happy:lmao: The move will happen in the next few weeks:yay: :yay: :yay: Oh and I am very happy about this
DOing the Happy Dance for you :banana: :banana: :banana:
So Hannah is going to make her presence known this weekend:mad:
Tell me about it,. do you want to lend me your house for Jimmy's Birthday party and the 11 kids I am having here on Saturday:headache:
HOpefully he will get a good night sleep and tomorrow will be a bit better:hug:
Now, admitting that, I will say that the next few weeks look NASTY.
He leaves Sunday afternoon and comes back Wed. He leaves Thursday and is gone for 9 days. :headache: By then, the kids and I will be done with each other, I fear.
Good Luck:goodvibes
:sad2: Eagles....:sad2:
E-A-G-L-E-S!;)
I'm with you on this one. That's too late for a school night:headache:
THis had me doing this :scared1: :lmao:
I got the mail and there was a check for $147 in there!! I paid off Steves car a few weeks ago. and I think they refunded the late charges.
which really surprises me because it shoulda been paid off last September!
Hi Ed! :wave2: Ooh... surprise money is ALWAYS nice! :goodvibes
Did I tell you that Eric mentioned cancelling the trip a few nights ago? I told him that under no circumstances would I cancel this trip. After recovering from major surgery, I was going to Disney World -- with or without him!!!
Major surgery?? Did I miss something? I thought they sent you home? Oh my, I am lost! :confused3
T! That totally sucks about Barbieville but at least you like it and came back to a job.
Yeah, well secretly I was hoping I didn't have a job to come home to. :teeth:
Doing great. THe day after we left, he went and played a round of golf, so he must be feeling better
Ah, yes. Once they start with golf, you know they're just fine! :thumbsup2
That place has more turn overs than a bakery (I couldn't say what I really wanted to say regarding ladies of the evening or I'd get points
Wanna hear something funny? I'm the 6th "oldest" employee there of the 15 people in that office - and I've only been there less than 3 months! :rotfl2:
I have some GOOD News I am getting another House to manage. It has more people but a super staff and they are mostly much higher functioning and it is within walking distance of home . I was allowed to keep my same schedule Tues - Sat which I love as I can be home on Mondays when school is off for all those teacher holidays !! oops I mean National Holidays I should start by the end of the month!!:banana:
Congrats, Rosie! :goodvibes
T, you might have a problem.
What can I say, I drank the Kool-Aid! :rolleyes1
Here's my new hair. The photo is better of my hair than of me.
CIMG0304.jpg
Love, love, love it! You're so pretty! :)
Hi everyone else!!
Hi there! :wave: I don't think we've "officially" met. I'm Tracy also, but I go by "T" 'round here. ;) Welcome and I have to say I love your smilies!! :thumbsup2
I will apologize now. I am bad about the over use of smileys in my posts, I love them, I even manipulated one to incorporate my Disney addiction:
Disneysleepanimation.gif
Especially this one! :goodvibes
T: The Barbieville saga continues..... Hope you are maintaining your sanity there in crazy-town! Did I see it's Andy's bday? Happy Bday Andy!
Thanks Mel. Today was Andy's birthday and he worked - but we went out on Monday with my brother, so all is well. Still have to pick him up something, though. :guilty:
Psych. went well. She recommended that we move up the psychiatrist (we did, it's now the 18th) and that we continue with the plan at school. Also, she told Sd to take a valium tonight. Oh Mel! Poor SD! I'm so sorry you're all going through this. Sending much love and good vibes your way! :goodvibes
Yep, that pretty much sums it up!: Seriously, I had felt "robbed" by a night, since he was originally gone tonight, anyway, so it's just what it was supposed to be.
Now, admitting that, I will say that the next few weeks look NASTY.
He leaves Sunday afternoon and comes back Wed. He leaves Thursday and is gone for 9 days. By then, the kids and I will be done with each other, I fear.
Oh honey, that must be difficult. I know when Andy's schedule gets really full and he's working 12 hour days for 14 days straight, I start to feel lonely. And the kids start to drive me up a wall. :headache:
:lmao:
K called at 8:15 and told me they were still at practice and he didn't know how long it would be. I was ticked. WTH?! 5 & 6 year old boys don't need to have an hour and half of practice, especially on a school night! Tomorrow he's going to be a real stinker!
Uh-oh! That would soooo irk me! That's way too late for little ones. :sad2:
I'm having my carpet cleaned in the morning. And then I'm becoming a grandmother tomorrow at 11:30.
Ok, I had to read that line a few times... until I got to the next one....
My nieces are having a grandparents lunch tomorrow at school. My dad is going to one of their classrooms, but I'm going to the other one's class to fill in for a grandma! So, I'm officially a grandma for an hour tomorrow. :eek:
Whew! :faint: How sweet you are Auntie Jen! :cutie:
Uh-oh! That would soooo irk me! That's way too late for little ones. :sad2:
I'm with you on this one. That's too late for a school night:headache:
One time is one thing, but now K's saying it was always an hour long, not 30 minutes. Uh... that's not what I was told. Plus, K has a job to do- pick up B from dance at 8. I'll be annoyed if it falls on me and I have to come home for 30 mins., then go get her too.
The coach said they could leave when he needed to, but if I push it anymore and tell K he needs to leave so they can get B, he'll be annoyed at me. I guess the "cool kids" or "good players" don't leave earlier than the other kids. Dads priorities are so different than moms! :sad2:
On a good note- at least A played last week he was mad no one from last year was on his team, so he refused to play. K was mad. A was mad. It was a mess.
but tonight A came home so happy and told me he hit the ball to the other field and that someone had to jump the fence and get it. That's my boy! :lovestruc I think he's pretty good for a 5 yr old. :thumbsup2
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Happy Bday, Andy!!! :wizard:

Okay- I'm going to wind down by seeing what's on the DVR.

Now K's mad at me for yelling and I'm mad his on the coach's side. Stupid baseball.

Have a great day, Rosie!

And then I'm becoming a grandmother tomorrow at 11:30.

You owe me a drink. I spilled mine reading that. :rotfl: (OK, not really, but boy howdy, was I confused.)

I never really watched the first go around, so I am not that interested in this one:confused3

I flunked a freshman college final because I had to get home to watch the prom episode. This is not something I'm proud of. Thank god I didn't flunk the class. :rotfl2:

Good Luck:goodvibes

Thanks, hon. :goodvibes

Oh honey, that must be difficult. I know when Andy's schedule gets really full and he's working 12 hour days for 14 days straight, I start to feel lonely. And the kids start to drive me up a wall. :headache:

I should say that I also miss D. ;) I like him, he's good to talk to. And yes, the kids make me insane after a point of being the only tall person around for a while. :eek:

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(experimenting with separators)

I took a nice bath, but was interrupted by Woody bawlling. He's just feeling tired and worried about spelling, I think (he has his first spelling test tomorrow) but he's unhappy.

He loves school, as a rule, so my heart is breaking for him. :sad1: I'm sure he'll be fine by next week - or maybe even after he sees that the spelling tomorrow isn't so bad.

I did make sure there was no bullying or something serious going on.

Sigh.

Poor baby though. :hug: Do you remember when school was fun?? :sad2:

Poor baby though. :hug: Do you remember when school was fun?? :sad2:

::yes:: I do think, without any conscious effort by me (and I was indeed valedictorian - school was important to me) that he picked up my "everything must be done perfectly" vibe. D'oh.

And yes, I kind of do, but see above.

Oh, and my mom was my first grade teacher, because the school was so small. One classroom per grade, mom is THE first grade teacher, so... :confused3 :rotfl2:

All right. I'm calling it a night.

Oh, I threw one more update on my TR just now, if you're looking for something to read. ;)

Everyone sleep well, have pleasant dreams, and I'll see you in the morning! :grouphug:

Kat: cute clothes and cuter Bale!!! He's such a cutie. :lovestruc I have a a couple of those cookbooks! I want the slow cooker one though....

I joined a cook book book club, thats where I got 'em all (thegoodcook.com).

So glad things seem to be looking up for you guys, I'm sure everything will work out just fine!:hug:

:thumbsup2
I totally forgot to ask yesterday... who else watched the new 90210 Tuesday?! It was GREAT! :thumbsup2 If you missed it, it's on again tonight.

I thought it was a lot better than I expected! I am def into it! I am excited for new tv starting!

Yep and it'll be 1 to 2 weeks before it's fitted :sad2:

That stinks (no puns intended)! I'm so sorry!

Well, I went back to Barbieville Tuesday only to find a completely new staff! :eek: 2 of the Medical Assistants have given their notice and 1 of the Front office girls up and quit. We have 1 new MA and 1 student MA, 2 new front office girls and 1 student front office girl. I love it! Wish em luck I'm gonna try using a root touch up kit this weekend in hopes of evening out my hair!

Well witchy poo was told, very clearly, I am not moving to the new building with her. Um, she was less than happy:lmao: The move will happen in the next few weeks:yay: :yay: :yay: Oh and I am very happy about this:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

So Hannah is going to make her presence known this weekend:mad:

Oh and for those who may get in the Path of IKE:hug: Let's hope Ike goes straight North!

At least all your wichy poo drama will be over soon!!!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Long day...had KC BFF (Pants) over to catch up since all of us were on separate vacations. Then we went to the diner for some grub. Now I';m trying to catch up on my threads.
Tomorrow we are running some errands and planning on relaxing out in the neighborhood somewhere, at least to be out of the house because the weather has been beautiful!
Night all! :grouphug:
Alrighty, I deserve an award. I just read 30+ pages of Focker talk. That's dedication.
Here goes nothin'!
MrsK, MrsTK, Mel, V and anybody I missed - Thanks for thinking of me and DH. I do appreciate it.
Mel - It's good to know that the school is going to do all they can for you and SD. Gus's pic was great. He looks so grown-up! I'll keep you and yours in my thoughts and prayers.
Jodi - Good luck on Tue with the surgery. I'll be at DHS but I'll be thinking of you!
HSM - Cable guy thing - :eek:
MTK - You, the jiggler and the bug. Sorry but the visual is priceless!
Ed - Annie looks ready to take on the world on her first day. A proud moment for momma. Did you have GAP insurance on Steve's car? the refund could be from that also.
Ang - The nephew and you on the carousel - another Kodak moment! I like the color of the new doo!
Katt - Kudos on the coffee maker! The blue woo hoo with the groove is cool.
On mammograms I always feel sorry for the little ones. At least I give 'em enough to work with!:lmao:
Gluv - I hope Jon's asthma gets better. Did you do OK with the new client?
Addison is gorgeous. Thanks for those sweet pics!
MrsK - DD6 and Abe - so cute!
Fockers I have this thing that is now going to get in the way of my ability to keep up with you. It's my WDW vacation!!!! Tommorrow is a big and busy day. I won't be able to visit.
I will miss everybody, especially HSM - oh and TE!!!;) ;)
Keep on wishing hanna and Ike away for me please. I'll talk at you when I get back. Be Good!!
Hi everyone! :goodvibes Its 4:30am and I can't sleep so I thought I would drop in and let you know I am still alive.I wish I had time to do a proper catch up but it has been several weeks since I have been on the dis.:scared1: My computer crashed and we didn't have it for almost two weeks.I have also started a full time job.I haven't worked full time since before the kids were born and it has been a huge adjustment.All four kids are playing sports and I have been leaving the house at 7:30 am and getting back after 9:00pm.then laundry,etc...a little overwhelmed.Anyway I didn't meen to start venting,just wanted to let you know I miss keeping up with all your lives and hopefully this weekend(between going to my first college football game and two of my kids being baptised) I will get a chance to read about how wonderful Fockerfest was.:surfweb:
Ok so everyone's wants of naps yesterday actually made me take a nap and I wasn't on the DIS at that time. Do you think it's like synched periods or somethin?? :confused3 Anyhoo, thank goodness you guys weren't too chatty.
Sd and I watched Amazing Race last night! We loved it! Who's your favorite team? We liked the dreadlock guy and his girlfriend and the brother/sister team...
Wait is this an old Amazing Race?? It sounds like it. I am so out of the TV loop right now. I even missed the rerun of the new 90210. Now I'm gonna have to search for the episode online. :headache: I need to get my tv show spreadsheet goin.....
Jodi: Bob is worried, but because he's a guy, he hides it better. He's more the FIRM supportive type...sounds like a jock strap.....
:lmao: :rotfl2:
Poor baby though. Do you remember when school was fun?? :sad2:
::yes:: Some of these stories I hear from parents about school scares me. More and more does homeschooling sound so much better...:teacher:
Angela: Love the hair! :thumbsup2
Mo: So glad the witchy poo drama is over. :woohoo: :woohoo:
Lessa: Great now I want to go to Williamsburg.....:scratchin:
Janet: Hi! :goodvibes
Jo: That sucks about the boiler, but I'm with Rachel couldn't they just have left the other one on? Why are they changing how things are done? :confused:
T: OMG on Barbieville! :eek: and :laughing:
Happy Birthday Andy!:cake:
HSM: :hug: about the late practice.
Rosie: :yay: congrats on the new job duties!
Ed: :woohoo: :woohoo: on the extra dough!
MrsK: I love your smileys too. :)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Well after my impromptu nap that lasted waaay to long I pressure cleaned the front of the house outside and our screened in terrace area in the back. Then cleaned the rest of the house. :crazy2: These are the times I'm happy we have a small house.

Ok so Smart People was boring. I thought it would've been wittier, but it wasn't. Very dissapointed in it. Watched a few more independent/no name films. Some were ok and others sucked.

It's rainy and everyone is watching Hurricane Ike to make sure he doesn't head our way, guess we'll know for sure after the weekend.

They never called me about the supposed promotion, so I'm a little :mad: about that. I spent the rest of my time applying for a whole bunch of jobs online. I really hate job hunting. :guilty:

Later everyone! :wave2:

I took a nice bath, but was interrupted by Woody bawlling. He's just feeling tired and worried about spelling, I think (he has his first spelling test tomorrow) but he's unhappy.

Sigh.

Oh, it's so hard when they're struggling! Hugs for all of you!

Poor baby though. :hug: Do you remember when school was fun?? :sad2:

No. I'm really having a heck of time remembering that...

Cute about being a "grandma" for a day! You are so sweet.

***********************
I meant to quote more....sorry. Hi T, Hi Kat, Hi Dawn, Hi Kristel (and bye), Hi Amy, Hi Z!

Worrying about Ike for you, Z! Good girl cleaning the house.

Well, I slept like CARP. My tummy's all in knots. I have to go wake up Sd in a second because our power was out last night and I think his alarm will be off. I am wearing out fast with this school issue, thank GOD it's Friday.

I am going to make some herbal tea. Maybe it will chill me out.

You guys chat today so I have something to distract me later!
