Hi T!! Welcome back!! :goodvibes Barbieville always sounds interesting.

Just got back from the beach. it was beautiful. Charlie just liked sniffing around. he ran when the water came up and got him wet..:lmao:
I have some pictures. but the my camera is a little wet. so it wont download them..or (upload I think)

I got the mail and there was a check for $147 in there!! :banana: I paid off Steves car a few weeks ago. and I think they refunded the late charges.
which really surprises me because it shoulda been paid off last September! :rolleyes1

SCORE!!!! More money for IP-DIP, right Ed???? :banana: :banana: :banana:

Did I tell you that Eric mentioned cancelling the trip a few nights ago? I told him that under no circumstances would I cancel this trip. After recovering from major surgery, I was going to Disney World -- with or without him!!!

Yes, he did say it, but then he agreed with me. We'll need a trip after the next five or six weeks. Plus, it's already paid for.

Tell Steeb to go jump off a cliff. Disney is so much more important than GOLF! Plus, he doesn't have time to golf. He's at football practice every day!

I agree. All moms make different choices for their kids and as long as they do what's best for their children, that's what's most important. :cloud9: Mel's a great example of being a great mom to her kids. :hug: :goodvibes

Thank you Dawn. That was so sweet. And thank you to everyone for the well wishes.

The meeting this morning helped me a great deal. SD did end up calling me about 2 and asking me to come get him. He made it through 3rd hour and lunch today. That's an hour and a half later than yesterday at least....:confused3

The social worker said that he should call me (though this a.m. he said he does NOT let them do this usually) because he didn't want me to get stuck in the bus/pick up traffic and Sd wasn't going back to class anyway. SD is sitting near me doing his Spanish homework. He's pretty upset because he wants OUT of that class and I'm making him continue until we can get it changed.

Our meeting with psych. is at 4 pm. I don't know you guys. I hope he can conquer this soon. I'm worried he'll fail geometery and History before we figure it out! (I know they'll make sure he doesn't but....argh!!!!)

In other news, I had fun with mom. We went shopping, went to the bookstore and had a nice lunch. She's going with Bob to the airport because I have to take SD to the Dr.

So, I'm out for a while. LY/MI !!

MEL

Okay, so the no TV rule is getting old already. DD4 is playing on my computer right now. I grabbed a quick shower and then we've got to go to the bank before my haircut at 11:30. I'm thinking that if she behaves during my haircut, I might give her TV back this afternoon.

That's why I never punish by taking the TV off of them. Yep...hand over that Mother of the Year award. (I do ground Lindsey from the computer though and I get an earful of whines when I do that so at least I know that works. LOL)

lori--- bday cake and mountain dew!!! i bet you will crash around noon from that sugar high!!!!!:lmao: sounds like what i need to get energized! :rotfl:

Actually no crashing but a major headache.

Ok, so I met with the school social worker this morning. We went over the WHOLE big deal with SD and the call yesterday, the psychologist/psychiatrist issues, the meds we haven't started yet, the anxiety....all of it.

He was SOOOOO great!!! He said, "they pay me to make sure that SD will have a successful and productive school experience. We will work VERY hard to make sure that he has what he needs."

THANK GOD

They will talk with his teachers, fix his schedule, provide him with a quiet safe place to calm down if he has issues, talk with him and meet with him if he wants to and none of this will count against his attendance. Most importantly, they will be the buffer between me and SD so that he doesn't NEED to come home and miss classes!!! I feel WAY better today.

This afternoon we see his psychologist. SO, we're on the way to some sort of balance, I hope!

Thanks so much you guys. I love you all.

MEL:banana:

Sounds like a good plan they are wanting to start and that it will really help SD. Good Luck at the psychologist this afternoon!

Sweet little Kaia is about as sweet as Chuckie. :rolleyes1

:rotfl2:

I'm so mad, we had our annual boiler service today and the man shut it off :mad: He said they've changed how they test the boilers and this week he's turned off 4 out of 5 like ours, it sounded as though he liked doing it :headache: Anyway I've managed to get one quote already, nearly $5,000 :faint: and another company coming tomorrow, so if you smell anything funny it's us as we have no hot water :rotfl:

UGH...that stinks! :headache:

We have a tentative date there for Dec 19.. our Anniversary in the 20th.

My b-day is Dec 20th. :)

Yep and it'll be 1 to 2 weeks before it's fitted :sad2:

Double UGH to that one!!! :headache: :headache:

Hi Fockers!! Boy I've missed you all! :grouphug:

Things have been soooo busy since we got back. Trying to get things back in order after the trip, school shopping, back to work, Andy's birthday ... it's been a completely whirlwind! :faint:

Well, I went back to Barbieville Tuesday only to find a completely new staff! :eek: 2 of the Medical Assistants have given their notice and 1 of the Front office girls up and quit. We have 1 new MA and 1 student MA, 2 new front office girls and 1 student front office girl. When I got in, one of the new front office girls was sitting at my computer - beyotch! :mad: I had to kick her off, in the nicest way possible. :lmao:

The doctor is as crazy as ever as is one of the office managers. I still like it there, crazy as that sounds! :scared:

:wave2: T! That totally sucks about Barbieville but at least you like it and came back to a job.

I got the mail and there was a check for $147 in there!! :banana: I paid off Steves car a few weeks ago. and I think they refunded the late charges.
which really surprises me because it shoulda been paid off last September! :rolleyes1

:woohoo: It's always a good thing getting unexpected money in the mail!

Hi Fockers!! Boy I've missed you all! :grouphug:

It's always crazy as soon as you are back from vacay, at least it always seems like it.

I can't possibly catch up from what ... a month ago?? :headache: Can someone just catch me up on anything that's UBER important? Purty please!! :worship: Help a brown sister out, here! :teeth:

Good luck with that:lmao:

Janet - How's your dad doing?

Doing great. THe day after we left, he went and played a round of golf, so he must be feeling better:thumbsup2

Jo - WTH is a boiler?? :confused3

Heater in English;)

Definitely let us know how you/SD make out. Was NotBob taking your mother to the airport or visa versa!:confused:

Still haven't caught up completely but everyone survived the first day back at school. :cool1: Steph got lost twice changing classrooms and the math teacher yelled at her Nasty Mr Rogers !!:mad: but she didn't seem concerned ,so I guess it's OK. Sam didn't get lost and if she strats teasing her sister:sad2: Kyle was bouncing when his DAD PICKED HIM UP!!He would hardly talk to his Mom when she called as Dad had said they could go fishing:rotfl2:
I have some GOOD News I am getting another House to manage. It has more people but a super staff and they are mostly much higher functioning and it is within walking distance of home . I was allowed to keep my same schedule Tues - Sat which I love as I can be home on Mondays when school is off for all those teacher holidays !!:lmao: oops I mean National Holidays :rotfl2: I should start by the end of the month!!:banana:

angela-- is it still rainy in orlando???

No, it hasn't rained all week. ;)

He was SOOOOO great!!! He said, "they pay me to make sure that SD will have a successful and productive school experience. We will work VERY hard to make sure that he has what he needs."

That's good to hear! :goodvibes

:rotfl:

Man, I miss Busch Gardens, haven't been since my last summer in Virginia Beach back in 2001. :sad2:

OK Lessa, you and I are planning a trip to ride roller coasters. :thumbsup2

Good news though, both girls are going on sleepovers on Saturday so the takeout we were going to get may turn into Dinner for 2 :thumbsup2
Date night! :cool1:

The doctor is as crazy as ever as is one of the office managers. I still like it there, crazy as that sounds! :scared:

T, you might have a problem. :rolleyes1

Happy Birthday to Andy. :bday:

Here's my new hair. The photo is better of my hair than of me. :rolleyes:

Angela, you are so pretty!! I love the hair, I need to do something with mine asap.

Mel :grouphug: , I am so sorry your son is going through this. It is wonderful that you have the support from the school. Hopefully he will settle in soon.

Carrie, that is great about the check!! I wish I would get a check in the mail, I need booze money for October .
hug010.gif

Jodi :hug:, I hope you took it easy today. It had to be so hard to talk to your dd about the surgery. You are in my thoughts and prayers daily. Tell your hubby thank you for keeping the Disney trip. I really look forward to meeting you.

TE- Mrsk is just fine for here. I don't want to cause any confusion with all the Tracy's. Thanks for the welcome.

Hi everyone else!!

=========================

It is hard to keep up with things here :rotfl:. I think I finally got the "focker smiley" where I wanted it in my siggy line. Carrie can you see it and my bouncing pumpkin? Everyone's monitors are so different, I have to check on Bill's desktop to make sure everything is visible.

I will apologize now. I am bad about the over use of smileys in my posts, I love them, I even manipulated one to incorporate my Disney addiction:

Oh, Jo. I'm sorry. We had to have ours replaced about 9 months after we bought the house. It was about $5000. Ugh.

[quoteGood news though, both girls are going on sleepovers on Saturday so the takeout we were going to get may turn into Dinner for 2 :thumbsup2[/quote]

Oooh, date night! :lovestruc

Hi Fockers!! Boy I've missed you all!

Missed you too! :hug:

Jo - WTH is a boiler?? :confused3

I have to disagree with Janet here - I have a boiler as well, and I'm not British! :rotfl:

It's a heating system that runs hot water through radiators, rather than a furnace putting hot air through vents. That is about all you can get here in NH, unless you have a newly built house. I hate it. We can't have central AC because we don't have vents, and the heating oil was running me about $700/mo last year and they say this year will be worse. :headache:

The doctor is as crazy as ever as is one of the office managers. I still like it there, crazy as that sounds!

Wow, that does sound a little crazy! :rotfl: Enjoy, though! (LY/MI)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Swimming was a lot of fun. :woohoo:
D has been gone since Tuesday. He was originally supposed to come back tomorrow, but then yesterday he told me they'd be back today instead. I left my phone home charging by mistake, so I rushed home from my friend's, worried that I'd have to make "real" dinner... :rolleyes1
He had called a few times, but when I called him back, they were now staying away tonight and he'll be home tomorrow. :rolleyes:
The boys are REALLY tired - both the end of the week and the playdate after school seem to be doing them in. So they're getting pajamed up now, and I will be back in a bit! :grouphug:
OK, I only skimmed...
Mel:hug: sounds like some progress, gald the school is so cooperative
I love Williamsburg, I took Ryan when he was 9. He got so into the history I remember him playing shoot the redcoat in the hotel room:lmao:
I loved BGW, great coasters, Ryan still has one picture of us on Loch Ness on his dresser.
As for Project Runway, not only is Blayne on my last nerve but so is SUede. That talking in 3rd person is getting on my last nerve!
90210, OMG I loved it, love the mixing of old characters. Did you see the preview for next week, Kelly's and Erin's mom is back too.
Well witchy poo was told, very clearly, I am not moving to the new building with her. Um, she was less than happy:lmao: The move will happen in the next few weeks:yay: :yay: :yay: Oh and I am very happy about this:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:
So Hannah is going to make her presence known this weekend:mad:
Oh and for those who may get in the Path of IKE:hug: Let's hope Ike goes straight North!
JO: Sorry about the boiler. Our furnace broke in our old house less than 9 mos after we bought the house.....that one was $1800 to replace. New house 9 years later, furnace breaks after 10 mos in the house! This one was $3500. :sad2: So, I feel your pain! Why does stuff (expensive stuff) always break AFTER vacation?
T: The Barbieville saga continues.....:happytv: Hope you are maintaining your sanity there in crazy-town! Did I see it's Andy's bday? Happy Bday Andy!
CE: I used to hate that last minute call, "I'm not coming home tonight..." Now, I look forward to it. Oh, that sounds awful, doesn't it?! :laughing: But, when you are used to having SOME alone time, not cooking a big meal, and not worrying if you aren't in pretty jammies it messes you up to have to do that all the time! Right? Yeah, me too! :goodvibes
Angela: LOVE your hair, pretty lady! :thumbsup2
Lessa: You are such a thrillseeker! I don't like roller coasters. I'm a wuss.
Janet, Lori, Rachel, Dawn, Janet, MrsK, Katt, etc: Hi everyone!!! :wave2: Thanks for asking about Sd and for the kind words!
-----
Psych. went well. She recommended that we move up the psychiatrist (we did, it's now the 18th) and that we continue with the plan at school. Also, she told Sd to take a valium tonight. He didn't sleep well last night and she said that right now it's more important for him to sleep so he's at least WELL RESTED to deal with school. I agree! And he's going to go to the classes he missed today and yesterday, after school tomorrow, to get his work and let the teachers know that he's trying to not get behind!
I am going to email them and give them a heads up right now....
Hope you guys had a good day!
Yep, that pretty much sums it up! :rotfl: Seriously, I had felt "robbed" by a night, since he was originally gone tonight, anyway, so it's just what it was supposed to be.
Now, admitting that, I will say that the next few weeks look NASTY.
He leaves Sunday afternoon and comes back Wed. He leaves Thursday and is gone for 9 days. :headache: By then, the kids and I will be done with each other, I fear.
