So ,my girlfriend brought over the letter that the parents got about the daycare closing. It basically said that they were closing August 1st because the church they were leasing the building from refused to renew their lease. THey apparently tried to get another location nearby but they were unable to get the zoning clearance---poor things

I also found out that they were down to 2o kids in the whole place. They start taking kids at 12 weeks. Apparently about a month after Jimmy left 4 other parents pulled their kids..who know I was such a trend setter

I am still doing the happy dance ...yes I am B&^*H, and am proud of it

Well my arms ache from playing on the Wii, OMG it's like a workout So far we've done shooting, fencing, trampolining, swimming, table tennis, BTW I came last

Oooh, what kind of drama?

We didn't get home until 4:30 this morning. When DH went to get the car from the park and ride, we had a flat. While changing the flat, he ran the hazard lights and ran down the battery.

That's annoying!!

Well, the girls are doing hand paraffin dips now...........I bought pizza, made a fruit tray (again), made some punch (again).....and basically am staying out of the way!

He misses the cut-off by 1 day so he will be doing PreK in September!

It is about a1/2 mile from our house. Kids with siblings already in the school get first dibs n the spots, then parishoners. We are parishoners, I was woried but not frantic. They only have one PreK class and only take something like 22 kids. I got there the day of registration at 8:00am, it started at 9:00, and I was already 10 people in line. I thought I was in line for Rolling Stones tickets, not PreK registration.

Today is a KC work-from-home day, so I am on the crap-top and catching up on my DVR shows. Who watched Lost? OMG- crazy ending!!

OMG!! Wasn't that ending freakin' awesome!!?? I watched it on Thursday and then again last night.

Good morning, Fockers. I'm going to meet a girlfriend for breakfast this morning- all by myself! Between us we have 6 kids, so we don't get to talk as much as we want when we get together.

We all went over for dinner last night (MIL, FIL and us) and had BBQ and played Rock Band.

it is soo nice to have some time alone with friends. i think we all need it!!

did you like playing rock band? my family is coming to my house for the weekend and we're going to play to see who is the most tone deaf!! it should be interesting.!!

no, they ARE going!! i'm just hoping that by next year, they'll decide not to go, since they'll have to pay for passports and food during 3 days at disney. (we're doing 7 day land/sea). we'll see!!!

hi! it was beautiful today here too. of course i was sleeping for most of it.

Well, Ab's having a slumber party tonite for over 10, 15 year olds. Gotta get her up soon and get to working on it.

not yet, i have it dvr'd . i had to work 4 nights in a row. and i want to wait until i have leasure time so i can really pay attention, kwim?
plus, after i watch it, then i'll have to wait until next year to see a new one.

Our SATC night was fun, though my opinion's not yet set on the movie. I think I'd have preferred watching it in the comfort of my own home; it just felt "wrong" to see the girls on the big screen.

i actually just started watching lost in the fall!! i rented seasons 1, 2 and 3, and was caught up when season 4 started. it is completly addicting!! i watched all 3 seasons in less than a month.
the house wasn't too clean that month!!!

hello everyone!!! i'm at work again!! 3rd night of 4. almost over.

but. i think i'm either insane, delirious , or just plain stupid........ i just agreed to come in early tonight (sunday) and work a double. that means 4pm - 8am. wth?

i'm going to be hurting monday!! but my husband agreed to have ALL of the laundry done and put away. house clean, **** and span cleann , kwim?

the way i look at it........... the faster i can pay off my credit cards, the faster i can move to florida!!

oh.. i was still nervous about moving bc of ot/st for my 2 kids. they were having problems in fl bc the insurance companies were refusing to cover therapies with a dx of autism. but just found out that fl legislature passed law mandating all insurance companies to cover therapies for autism dx. i am soooo ready to move now. everything is just falling into place.

okay. sorry about the rant!! hope everyone has a great sunday. ill be back on tonight!!!

Beautiful day here in Jersey. Murph got home (safely) from Cancun so I am heading over there later to bring Cooper home and have lunch with her.

A little more info came out Friday. I definately am having survivor guilt over the lay off. Remember how long they were taking to finalize the transfer. Well, see the division I transfered to took a hit even thought the actual department didn't, to make room for me in the division, someone had to go for the division . The initial plan was to move someone internally in the division. But the VP didn't feel anyone good could fill the spot nearly as well as me. My replacement from the old department will have to be from the outside as no one is really qualified internally. The exec committee wanted to make sure transfering me really was the best option all the way around.

I have been eating like a horse this weekend from all of this, I am definately a stress eater.

How many days to Fockefest!!!!!!!

Now it all makes sense...it really was taking a long time for the transfer to come through for you. None of it was your decision. You were just a trying to get out from under a nasty boss. Try not to be too hard on yourself.

Yep, 5 days/full days. He is going to the Catholic School so they offer after school care too, so that works out well for us. We only need it for about an hour. Jim and Jimmy will get done at the same time but by the Jim gets to him it will be about an hour after he is done!

You'll love it! Starting at the beginning is the only way to go, but just know that they get better and better as the seasons go on. Season 4 is my personal fave.

I'm writing about art theory and applying various aesthetic theories to an art object (painting by American artist George Bellows) and an art-like object.... a Tinkerbell topiary from the F&G Fest! So far, as tested by 3 theories, Tink comes out as fine art. Walt would be pleased.

Apparently not-----I still hear Sing Star blasting!

I think they had a good time tho---I only had to call them down once at 1:30 when I heard screaming---turns out they went up to BAs room and woke her up with a pillow fight. She loved it and woke back up to join the party (probably to her sis's dismay).

DH worked till midnite and then back to work this am----at least that's where he SAID he was going---he may just be avoiding the party! (smart man)
