Boy, it's quiet around here tonight. I got a lot done today. I grocery shopped, got all the laundry done, priced all the the stuff for the garage sale, cooked sausage and pierogies for dinner, and then just hung out in the yard for an hour or so. Our neighbor was having a BBQ and there were a couple of kids Jimmy's age there so they came over into our yard and played for a while. JImmy was exahusted and was bathed and asleep by 8:15

This week is going to be another crazy one. I have to get out and get a birthday gift for the birthday party Jimmy is going to on Saturday and a birthday gift for Jim's sister which is on the 9th. Back to work tomorrow, where things are all crazy right now because the end of the fiscal year is coming up and the city hasn't passed a new budget yet.

If I don't see anyone tonight or tomorrow have a great night/day!

Just got home a few hours from Victoria garden. That place it freakin' awesome!! All the great stores are there.... COACH, Guess, Lucky, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn.... I was in heaven!!

Had a movie-a-thon day while KC worked. Watched "The Air I Breathe", Bourne Ultimatum" & "Black Snake Moan".

Then he monopolized the PC for most of the night... and now I'm here and everyone's gone... Figures.

I'm just trying to catch up on my pod casts and subbed threads.

KC went to Starbucks and we got Chai Latte's and it was so bad I had to wait for most of the ice melt before we could drink it.

The happy news..KC is back in the office Mon, Tues and Wed so more DIS time for me!!!!

Did anyone see the Twilight clip they showed on Mtv????

We are throwing an end of the year party, themed as a graduation party for the Kindergarten Class of 2020. I have to get some rest before tomorrow. I am pooped. This sick stuff has got to end. I don't understand why I am getting sick all of the time.

Rosie, ABC may have reruns over the summer but Lost is the kind of show you really need to watch from the beginning and in order or you will be completely lost on what is going on. If you are interested in the show perhaps renting the first few seasons on DVD may be a good way to catch up.

So ,my girlfriend brought over the letter that the parents got about the daycare closing. It basically said that they were closing August 1st because the church they were leasing the building from refused to renew their lease. THey apparently tried to get another location nearby but they were unable to get the zoning clearance---poor things

Been doing reseach all morning on shark attacks/Vero. We are going in 19 days (I think...) and I want to be sure not to get eaten by any predators... Only one fatality there that I could find in decades, was 1998. So, probably safe? I know, I know, sharks live in the ocean. I'm just a weirdly cautious person.

Just remembered I never told you about Ellies Trampolining Competition, well poor thing fell right at the start of her routine and they gave her zero points She cried her eyes out, it seems so unfair, David was very proud of her though as she got back on and did her second jump which she did fine in. We've actually decided to pull her out of classes (we'd sort of decided to do it vefore this competition) as in over a year she just doesn't seem to have learnt anything, the teacher doesn't give any help etc, she didn't even say anything to Ellie when she was crying Plus each session costs over $10 then she has to be a member of the UK trampolining association etc etc, so if she's not getting any better it's just a waste of $!!!!


We had a lovely day yesterday, we went to Leeds Castle again as our AP's run out in a few days, they had a jousting tournament and it was great fun, it was very funny with lots of action, cheering, booing etc. The horses were very good and our team won

Tuesday afternoon, we are leaving for WDW. I am making dd3 pirate shorts because I promised her a month ago. Nothing like waiting until the last minute. I might attempt to make some spiral mickey shirts. I also need to pack and clean the house.

We had our garage sale on Saturday and made $120. I was happy to make over $100. There were several neighborhoods doing garage sales, so I think we could have done better if that hadn't been going on.

Poor thing!
All of the extracurricular stuff gets expensive. ds plays soccer and wants to play baseball. We told him he has to pick one or the other - can't do both at the same time because too time consuming and expensive. We offered him to play soccer in the fall, baseball in spring or vice versa. So far, he is sticking with soccer. He wants to try out for the traveling Academy team and I think he would make it, but the fees are $1000/year, plus we would have to travel. So we told him he can't try out this year. We'll wait and see if he is still interested when he is a little older.

We have ours on Saturday. I thnk we re the only one so far.!

I must have had things priced right because only 3 people tried to bargain with us and that was at the very end. I have 1 large piece of furniture that did not sell. I think I'll donate it somewhere. It is a tv armoir and in excellent cond. We paid about $800 for it, but I redid our bedroom and now we have a flat screen tv.
